It appears like a nice facility from the outside, but despite claims to the contrary on their website they will deny entry to anyone not current student/faculty/staff. These were the words of the circulation desk staff when I visited this afternoon.

I was denied entry as I am "not affiliated with the university". I am a full-time engineering student at another college in SF and as my college library is closed on the weekends, Gleeson used to be my go-to in previous semesters. Dedicated

I have traveled around the world and I honestly can say that Harold Washington Library is the one of the best I have ever seen. They have friendly staff and have soooo many resources. Keep in mind you MUST be a Chicago resident to use

Don’t know where the complaints come from. You make the choice to come to a private college so you take it.

Costs $100 a month for membership to access the library if you're not a student or faculty at usf

Great place to work or study. Clean modern facilities and plenty of seating.

Great lib, tons of space. Great staff - very accommodating.
