We purchased the 5-day inclusive pass during our San Diego visit and used the free app to show our admission tickets which made it convenient. In addition to the Zoo, Safari Park, and Birch Aquarium, we visited Seaworld twice as my toddler wanted to see the whales again so that was nice that the pass allowed this. This was the one place we had to also have reservations for and show copies of our COVID vaccination cards since we were out-of-state visitors. Another day, we took a cab to the New Children’s museum which says is covered in their app, but apparently the museum no longer accepts the Go SD Pass (since over a year ago). So we were stranded in downtown early Saturday morning with nowhere to go and nothing to do, my toddler had to use the restroom. I called the Go SD Pass right away and they were not helpful at all, I brought my phone to the museum for them to discuss, again 0 resolution, but they did offer to refund 10% of the card which doesn’t even cover our cab fare one way. Luckily, the museum manager was so sweet and finally let us in even though they were completely booked. Go SD was supposed to call me back to “resolve” and explain the issue, nobody did, I called them back and after being transferred around someone finally said that their website has a more accurate and up-to-date list of what all is included with the pass. I didn’t even know that was a thing, I looked and in their defense it wasn’t listed on their website. It still is listed on their app among other things (I compared once I was told about the website) so beware. Another issue we had was at the Safari Park (which was amazing and so much worth the drive... don’t miss it!), the pass said it gets you an African tram tour and access to the cheetah run. Both of these things haven’t been running in over a year. I believe due to COVID, but still you would think someone could update their app and website more often than once a year. Overall, yes, the pass saved us a little money, but I was so upset about being stranded downtown. I am not recommending. ** Edit to add: A representative from the company reached out to me again (after my review) to further resolve the issue and explained that they will update their information since COVID changes. Happy to hear others will have a more updated list of what is and is not currently included with the pass.

We bought four 3-day passes and saved over $100 per person. I did a spreadsheet that calculated our cost if we bought the tickets separately vs. the cost of the Go Card. For those that want the details... Day 1 - went to USS Midway (arrived just prior to opening and headed for the control tower where lines get long as the day goes on). Walked down the street and picked up tickets for a 1 hour harbor cruise. Then headed to Belmont Park. Rides and attractions are expensive here when purchased separately so the Go Card all inclusive pass saved us some $$. Day 2 - went to San Diego zoo first thing and headed for the Panda exhibit where line gets long as the day goes on. Spent 5 hours at the zoo (very cool place). Then walked from the zoo to check out some of the museums in Balboa Park. Went to model train museum and Japanese Friendship garden (we would have went to more places but a certain 13 year old would have none of that). Day 3 - went to 9am Speed Boat Adventures. This was fun and the guide was great (this was one of 3 premium attractions the Go Pass lets you choose from and choose this one over Sea World or the Trolley). Then we drove to La Jolla and grabbed some lunch and then headed to the La Jolla Kayak tour place. The Go Pass benefit is only for renting kayaks with no guide. We opted for the tour so we had a guide to give us commentary and keep us on track. We received a 40% discount off the regular guide price for a 2 man kayak. It helped that we planned the 3 days out and fit as much as we could in those 3 days. Make sure you try to get places close to each other so you are not wasting time driving from place to place (the drive to La Jolla took quite a bit of time due to traffic and once we arrived it took a good amount of time to find a parking spot). Make sure you factor in the Go Pass 5pm expire time. Also note that as long as you get into Belmont Park before 5pm, the unlimited ride wrist band you get from Go Pass is good until park closing. After our 3 day go pass we spent the remaining 2 days of our vacation doing whatever we wanted (Coronado, Friendship Park and walked a lonely beach, tried the very fun Bird scooters). That's a wrap.

We recently visited San Diego for 3.5 days. Trying to see all of the attractions is, of course, impossible in such a short amount of time, but the Go San Diego Card made it possible to see a great deal of the area. First, we had to decide on how many days we would realistically use the pass and ultimately, we chose the one-day pass. We are not a family who is early to rise, but on our sight-seeing day, we rolled out of the hotel at just after 9 a.m.-a rare feat for us! We started the day in Coronado to see the Coronado Museum of History and Art, the glittering gold beach, and the Coronado (haunted) hotel. Then we were off to a 1 hour Harbor Cruise by Hornblower. The Captain and Crew were wonderful, and the food on the cruise was reasonably priced. We disembarked and went straight to the USS Midway Museum. We didn't see the sleeping quarters or jail, but we spent a LOT of time on the deck and in the communications rooms. Some of the docents really had a great deal to share with us. Then, we were off to the San Diego Zoo. We are from Cincinnati, with a world-class, top-rated zoo, but we wanted to see Koala bears, Panda bears, and Galapagos tortoises. As it neared 6 p.m., the primate exhibits seemed all tucked in for the night. I'd do this earlier in the day next time. Our hotel was in Old Town, so we headed that way for a quick dinner and then we were onto the last tour of the night of the Whaley House. We really did save some money using the Go San Diego card. (5+52+20+25+8)x4=$440, but with the card, our total was only $328. At 25% savings, it was completely worth the purchase. It is important to get an itinerary in mind first in order to maximize the benefit. A multi-day pass would eliminate the need to go to so many different areas and would allow for a slower pace. There are several locations that do not open until 10 a.m., or that have a 'get here by 5 p.m.' requirement. The museums are on a weekly rotating basis so that most of them are free at least once per month. Visiting these on a "free" day lets your dollar go just a little bit farther.

Our family just took a vacation to San Diego last month. We had a great time at just about every place except for The San Diego Zoo! You want to know why?! We couldn't get in! Yes, we had purchased the San Diego GO card, but they were telling us it had expired; which was a complete and total shock to all of us! We had purchased the 3-day pass, so we could take our kids to Sea World. We used it at Sea World on Monday, but being that we had our 3 kids with us, and had exhausted ourselves that day at Sea World, we opted to do the Midway Museum on Tuesday; which we paid for out of pocket because we knew it would be the least expensive attraction we would be seeing, and we'd want our Go card for Legoland and the Zoo. Well, next day, Wednesday, we did Legoland, and used our pass to get us in-no problems. Then on Thursday, we wanted to do the San Diego Zoo, but were told our Go card had expired. When I called the company to see what was going on with our card, I talked to a complete jerk who explained that the card had to be used for 3 consecutive days in a row, and then kept hanging up on me mid call, when I was trying to get the issue resolved! Honestly, I didn't know that it had that stupid stipulation, and it just made me madder because I thought, Are they freakin kidding me! They want us to take our 3 kids to Sea World, Legoland, and San Diego Zoo-[3 all day attractions] back to back, and they don't think that would freakin kill us!! If we HAD done that...the last 2 days of our vacation would have been entirely LAME, because we would have been SO exhausted that we wouldn't have wanted to do much. Especially knowing that we still had to drive 19 hrs and 45 min to get home on Saturday! If you couldn't already tell, I'm still pissed off about this a month later. I can't wait until it gets cold enough here to use our fireplace-those damn GO tickets shall be the 1st thing sacrificed to that fire~Bwahaha! And then I'll finally have my closure.

WARNING - You CANNOT pick up the Go San Diego card at the tourist information booth on N Harbor Drive any more. We had planned to visit the USS Midway so paid $10 to park there, get the cards from the info booth and walk back to the Midway. We were told since April 1st, you can't pick up the cards there. WHO THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA?!?!? The one place you'd expect to be able to get them is here! This wasted $10 that I'd paid to park at the Midway. I was told the nearest pick-up place is now 3.5miles away in Balboa Park! I went to Balboa Park, they seemed really puzzled by my Expedia confirmation but gave us the cards anyway. We decided to go to the Zoo instead as that was nearby. Our cards didn't scan, they 'expired' in January apparently, despite picking them up 15 minutes prior to this. We stood in a tiny room with 8 other people whilst the Zoo tried to sort this out. They kindly did, and said their system sometimes doesn't work. We had other plans for the cards so went back to Balboa Park to check they'd activated them properly, which they had. They said there that the Zoo sometimes has problems which they've reported and been ignored by the Zoo. All in all, we visited the Zoo, Midway, Belmont Park, did a 1 hour cruise and the Japanese friendship garden at Balboa Park. Not bad value for money IF you can get into 3 attractions by 5.30pm. Be warned, most of the attractions don't open until 10am so you've got 7 hours per day to get your money's worth. An absolute shambles trying to get it sorted and totally wasted my time. It took me approximately 2 hours messing around with the card problems.

I experienced my first visit to the city of San Diego in May. I participated in the Out of the Darkness Overnight for Suicide Prevention Walk there and stayed a total of 8 days. I had used the GO Card for previous destinations, so I was familiar of how it worked. I purchased the 7 day pass, saving well over $400! I was travelling solo, so I could do things at my own pace. I visited the following attractions with my GO card: San Diego Zoo, USS Midway Museum, Hornblower 1 hr Cruise, Natural History Museum, Museum of Man (California Tower-additional charge to walk up to the observation deck, $10), Japanese Friendship Garden, Sports Hall of Fame, & PETCO Park Tour. These were all away from SD(furthest was the safari park about 35 miles away), but totally worth the Uber rides: Birch Aquarium, SeaWorld, Belmont Park, Museum of Making Music, Legoland, & San Diego Zoo Safari Park. I also purchased the 2 day hop on/off trolley tour, as well as a night tour and a trip to La Jolla. I highly recommend this card, it is a real $$ saver, very convenient to download the app and have right on your phone. The site also gives you tips on your trip, directions on how to get to locations and estimated durations for each attraction. I will definitely use this company again for any city I visit that is available! Can't wait for my next vacation! Thank you Smart Destinations!!!

The use was pretty simple. The problem I had was they expired my 3-day all-inclusive passes after less than 2 days. It took 3 phone calls (Chat was NOT available on their website or their apps) and almost 2 hours on the phone before they gave me my 3rd day back. I bought on Tuesday and activated immediately (about 11 am). But woke up Thursday morning to find my 3 day passes expired when I went to use them at our first stop Thursday morning. We had arrived at our first stop at 10 am and we were unable to get in until noon because it took so long to fix the problem. At first, they tried to make me think I had miscounted the days. Then it took the customer service rep several conversations with a “supervisor” to get my tickets restored. The customer service rep tried to make it seem like they were doing me a huge favor. They were not in the least apologetic for the mess up and did absolutely nothing to compensate for all the time and hassle it took to fix the situation. When it works, it’s great. Good luck to you if they screw up. It takes forever to get the phone answered and even longer to actually speak with customer service rep. And don’t expect any sort of apology for their mess up. I will probably never use them again.

Worst decision we've made in San Diego - purchasing the Go San Diego Card turned our 3-day vacation into a sprint to make it to all attractions which we paid for. If we picked one attraction per day, it would be way better - you definitely need enough time to enjoy San Diego ZOO or Legoland. When you buy the card, they will tell you that ZOO takes 4 hours, Legoland 5 hours, etc. so you get the impression that you can make it to many places and save a lot of money. We tried it and we sprinted through the ZOO (quickly! here's the panda, don't stop! we have to go now!), Seaworld (no way you are tired, now go to orcas' show), Safari (look, kangaroo, now we have to go), USS Midway and Legoland in three days. So we can definitely recommend taking one attraction per day and don't buy the card at all - even if you pick the three most expensive attractions, it's still cheaper to pay gate price than to buy the card. And don't get fooled by the "save time on entrance lines" - from all the attractions we have seen, there was a line for tickets at USS Midway only and it wasn't for more than 5-10 minutes. Definitely don't recommend this product.

We just returned from our San Diego trip and invested nearly $800 for 2 adult and 2 child three day passes. Unfortunately we used the pass our first day, then had a sick child that could not leave the hotel room for 2 days and then when we tried to use the pass on our last day was denied, saying the pass expired. We read through the website multiple times and yes, looking now I do see that the site does say it has to be consecutive days but I find it is misleading and not clear. So we basically spent $800 to go to sea world for 1/2 a day and then were out of luck on our last day since it was not a "consecutive" day. With today's modern technology the pass should be flexible enough to not have to be consecutive days. It just seems extremely unreasonable to have this condition and I wish it had been made more clear. I will not recommend this pass to anyone based on there being no flexibility. You're better off paying ala carte. On top of this, when I try to send in my comments to their website, the website crashes.

I bought a 3 day pass when my children and I went to San Diego for a week, and unfortunately for me I did not read the fine print that I needed to use the pass in consecutive days. I used the first day visiting the San Diego Zoo, the second day going around SeaWorld, but did not go to LEGOLAND until 2 days after. It was about an hour's drive away from where we were staying, and when we arrived and tried to get in the staff at LEGOLAND told me their system is saying our pass had expired. I called customer service and asked why this was, and was told about the fine print I missed reading. I told them of our situation, and the lady who helped was courteous, and generous enough to activate it for us so my children could go in and enjoy LEGOLAND. Needless to say, I am grateful for this excellent customer service and we had a blast going around the city. I highly recommend this to anyone wishing to explore places, it saves money, time, as long as you read the fine print!

Didn't really save us any money - broke even at best, and we had to work even to do that. We bought the 7 day pass and did many activities during the week (instead of weekend). During the week the savings are not as extensive. Also, if you have younger kids I wouldn't recommend going with a 5 or 7 day pass unless you are a glutton for punishment - its hard to fit in enough activities to make you come out ahead. Perhaps a 3 day pass with Sea World would be worth it OR going with a shorter pass over the weekends (where savings are greater) this would have been worth it. But if I had to repeat I would have dropped one or two of the activities we did and gone a la cart on the rest and have been much better off. One final point - they may have changed this but the 3/5/7 day pass only comes with ONE option of SeaWorld OR Trolley (both are NOT included). This wasn't clear to us when we purchased and was another source of frustration.

Buying this pass was the worst mistake of our vacation. - Reservations required for most activities. To get a reservation, you have to call during business hours because most of them cannot take the Go Pass as payment on their web sites. - Most attractions have very few days open (Hollywood Museum is Wed-Sat only, Legoland is only Thursday - Sunday). - The directions on the Go San Diego app for the one-hour city cruise by Hornblower were completely wrong, forcing my 78 year old mother to jog a half mile from the incorrect location to Pier 2 or we would have missed the boat. - Other attractions were completely booked up before our vacation even began (Speed boat, Go Car, etc.) In the end, we lost about $300 on our 3, 7-day passes because we couldn’t use but 3 attractions. In addition, I wasted hours of planning and waiting on the phone for reservations I could have easily booked online. Insane. Total scam.

We are a family of 5. We bought 4 adult and 1 child 7 day Go Sam Diego cards. This was the best thing we could have done on our vacation. There was something for everyone in our family to do. After reading some people's reviews on how they didn't think it would ace them money I wasn't sure this was for us, but I am glad we did. My husband joked that they didn't know me and I would definitely use every discount we could get. We were able to do things that maybe we wouldn't normally have done. My son's favorite was Sea World. One of my daugjter's loved the paddle boarding and kayaking while my other daughter loved the Hollywood Tour. I loved the harbor cruise and my husband loved the USS Midway tour. We also went to the museums in Balboa park, Legoland, Belmont Park twice, and the San Diego Zoo. We definitely got our money's worth and made great fami memories!

I thought this was an amazing deal....but I've never really been on a vacation either. I didn't read the fine print until we were on vacation. The fact that you couldn't use the card after 5:30pm would've been enough for me NOT to purchase it in the first place(but i didn't know that until it was too late). And I thought I had up to a year to return it if I hadn't used it then I find out that I was wrong... but I know I read that somewhere!! You never know... trying to plan all those things to do.... we didn't even use 1/4 of the card... went to 3 places out of 40 something that were on there and it was because most of them were too far away and I didn't realize the distance until it was too late or we can't use after 5:30 or it was a bunch of different reasons!! I will never purchase another one of those again. I actually lost out on money.

Over all we had a good experience with our Go San Diego cards and saved money on most attractions. We had an issue with one of the vendors, and I sent their prepaid postcard for comments by mail (from our hotel before we left San Diego) on July 7 and have yet to get a response from that vendor. I would still recommend your Go Card, but would not recommend that particular tour company. We arrived at our pick up site a half hour before our pickup time, I called their Customer service who spoke with dispatch when they didn't show up, CS assured me the trolley was coming, but it never showed, then after another hour and two more conversations with CS, I was told dispatch now said all the routes had been completed and we would have to call a taxi.They left us stranded and we had to pay for a taxi to return us to our hotel.

I got the 7 days Go San Diego Card all-inclusive, and it was the best decision I made in San Diego, it includes the most amazing places you can visit, such as and not limited to SeaWorld, The Zoo, Legoland, The USS Midway, Whale seeing, kayak rental, all of the Balboa Park museums and more. You must prepare yourself for a busy 7 days, you will not have time to rest, and you will not have time to plan, so plan ahead before you activate your pass, start with the most important attractions because most probably you will not be able to do them all. I recommend the following order: SeaWorld, The Zoo, Whale watching (if in season), Legoland, the USS Midway, kayak rental, then you can do the Balboa Park museums, the Safari park and all of the other attractions and activities that you can do.

That's a great deal guys if you can and willing to walk, sightseeing and check out the new things. I took a pass in San Diego for three days and it definitely worth every single penny. I have visited bunch of museums at Balboa Park, I have taken a cruise ride for an hour in San Diego bay, San Diego ZOO, and by the way at the zoo you have even a free BUS EXCURSION!!! Old Trolley, and surfing, and bike rides, so many things. Some people say that they buy these passes and they don't have time to explore and go to all these attractions and bla-bla-bla. Guys, just make the plans before the trip, how many places you going to visit and how close they are to each other, it is very possible if you have two legs. It is even easier and better if you have a car. The package is totally worth it!!!

The Go San Diego Card worked flawlessly, and made seeing multiple attractions daily a hassle-free experience, on top of saving a considerable amount of money for a family of four. I especially liked that a virtual card could be scanned from my smart phone at the attractions (if you download the Go City Card app) , so I did not have to lug around extra cards in my wallet, or paper tickets in my pockets. And you get to skip the ticket purchase lines. All the top attractions are included- we went to Seaworld, the Zoo, Children's Museum, the Zoo Safari Park, Legoland, and took a San Diego Bay cruise. There are many other attractions that we wanted to see, but ran out of time (note to self, stay more than 3 days next time!). Highly recommended for anyone visiting San Diego!

I was surprised to see the options available for the Go SD Card and at these ridiculously cheap prices. If you're looking to venture out without children, you can definitely accomplish a lot with just a 1,2 or 3 day pass. If you have children, of course, allow more time for attractions and opt for the 7 day pass. It includes the best attractions and you can even go to some main attractions more than one time (like Seaworld). It clearly states on the GO CARD website under "how it works" that the pass must be used consecutive days once you visit your first attraction so people that miss this fact and don't use the pass this way simply made a mistake and didn't get the full benefits of the pass. You will save an insane amount of money if you use this pas correctly.

Their website states that the Explorer pass includes a choice between the San Diego Zoo and the Safari Park. This made the pass worth it for us, given the activities we chose to do. However, after purchasing the passes and syncing them to the app, I was unable to get tickets for the zoo. According to the app, the zoo and the Safari Park are only included with the all-inclusive passes, which is contrary to what was advertised. I contacted customer service, but their office was closed. I sent an email requesting a refund, but have yet to receive a response. So, buyer beware: if you're contemplating getting the explorer pass and want to go to the zoo or the Safari Park as one of your choices, keep in mind that the website is not accurate and they are not included.

GET THE APP AND TRACK TRANSACTIONS! We went to use our pass for the last use and one of our passes had "expired" because the Seal boat company had also charged us for a trolley ride we never used. This caused a major headache trying to get a hold of both go city and seal boat company to try to reverse the charge so we could use the pass. Which after trying to communicate via chat and not getting anywhere w seal company we were not able to do. Even though it was obvious we couldnt have done the trolley ride. So as far as customer service i would give them a 1 star. Other than this we did find the process fairly easy to use (READ ALL FINE PRINT AND CALL COMPANIES AHEAD OF TIME) and we really did feel like we got a great deal for what we paid for.

Purchased a five day go card to take in as many attractions and museums as possible during our six day trip to San Diego. My daughter is 8 and we had a blast and saved lots of money with this card. We went to the Zoo, Sea World, Balboa park, Legoland, U.S.S. Midway, and Whale and dolphin watching trip. Only issue we had was at Legoland they do not scan the card and we spent more time in the membership line then we should of. The customer service at Legoland was definitely apologetic for the inconvenience and gave us some cards to get to the front of the line on a couple of the rides. Would purchase this card again. Read he website for instructions, and take time to read the booklet in depth to plan on better use of the card.

Pretty good deal. Gotta really read the details and plan ahead. Here was our experience: Zoo - easy. We walked right in with pass. Kayak rental in La Jolla - great (it’s 2 people per kayak fyi) Jet skiing was super fun and the employees very chill but you can’t reserve and there is no guarantee one will be available when you show up. Belmont park - easy and fun Museum of us - easy I ride scooter- not our favorite- could only book 2 go city in any one time slot. The tour that got plugged in to the scooter was way longer than our allotted time which was an issue. The staff were super nice though. We really wanted to do pier fishing but didn’t book soon enough (they are over a week out or more)

The Go Card worked great for our family of 4 - 2 adults 2 kids. We added up how much we would have spent if we paid for everything individually and we saved about $80/person. We did some things we would not have otherwise done (Whale Watching and Belmont Park) because they were covered on the Go Card. I am so glad we did these - everyone in our family loved both of them. The Go Card allowed me to also not hesitate to do things based on price - it was already included once I bought the Go Card. We had a 5 day pass and had no problems at any of the attractions: LEGOLAND, Zoo, Sea World, Belmont Park, Natural History Museum, Science Center and Whale Watching. I would definitely recommend.

We bought the 5 day San Diego Go Card for each member of our family of 7 (mom, dad, kids ages 9-15). We loved it!!! We visited day 1 - Legoland, day 2 - the four hour hornblower whale and dolphin watching tour and then Midway, day 3 - Seaworld, day 4 - zoo and 3 museums (including imax movie) at balboa park, day 5 - the safari park (cute baby tigers!) and when we found that didn’t take us all day, we shot over to spend the last 4 hours at legoland again. We definitely saved money using the go card to its utmost but also had great amounts of extra time to relax and play at the beach most mornings and evenings. The go card was so super easy to buy and use everywhere!

Fast and extremely convenient!! We had a great time, kids liked the fact that we skipped a few lines and had very little to no wait on most rides & attractions.. My brother and his family came with but unfortunately he thought a little different about about the Go San Diego card and opted out..let me just say it was a bad mistake, he ended up paying more for less...on our last day he admitted to his mistake and told me he probably ask me to book next vacation tickets haha great way to end the trip I must say! Love u bro! If u want more money to spend on the stuff inside, then get the GO card so u won't spend most of your money trying to get in...

I like that there are a lot of options included in the pass. We enjoyed Sea World, San Diego Zoo and the USS Midway museum. We ended up paying for the Maritime Muesum on the first day because there was no parking in or near Balboa Park so we left. It wasn’t included in the pass but it was definitely worth seeing. I’m giving the Go Card 4 stars because we didn’t get the email confirmation right away and spend 40 minutes with customer service straightening everything out. Do yourself a favor order and set it up in advance so you don’t have to waste time on vacation. It gets activated when it’s scanned at first the attraction.

I purchased a Go San Diego pass for my family before we went to the USA earlier in the year. Our plans changed so we did not require the Go San Diego pass. Their policy details that you will receive a full refund should you not activate the card within 12 months. Despite numerous emails and phone calls am still awaiting a refund since December 2015. The staff are more than courteous on the phone and seem very apologetic, but I am still receiving the run around. We did use the New York pass and the pass is very good value. Just don't get too excited about receiving a refund if you decide to change your mind or travel plans.

I've never used these pre-paid tourism cards up until this visit in San Diego. Admittedly, I was skeptical fearing it was some sort of scam. The good news is that it is all legit. There is some fine print - must use before 5pm. and unless otherwise stated it is a 1x use per attraction. That said, I was able to cram multiple things into a single day. E.g. Knott's Berry Farm + San Diego Wildlife Safari. In some cases you can bypass the ticket line and go straight to the turn-stile. which is a huge at places like Seaworld, San Diego Zoo and such. Overall, it was a good value, and we made good use of it. Would recommend it.

Guys, Don't buy go city explorer or inclusive pass if your planning to use five star san diego city tour. They are not accepting go city passes as they give preference to their own website reservations. They simply ignore city pass customers. I have requested reservations for tomorrow 7/13/2022 date but they denied saying not available but I can book the tour by spending $69 . They are cheating basically. I am not sure if is open bus tour and close bus tour as they didn't mention anywhere about that not even a picture. Again, Don't buy city tour pass for city bus tour. You will be cheated for sure by five star tours.

The Go City passes are definitely the way to go we had easy access to almost everything. The reason they are rated of 4 instead of 5 is because we could not book a reservation for Legoland!!! Heartbreaking to the children we were going to take. Go City couldn't help us!!! We spent in excess of 4 hours trying to book a reservation unfortunately we never made Legoland because Legoland doesn't have anyone to speak with shame on them. Their website wasn't working and go city was absolutely no help to us otherwise I would definitely use go City again because the past has so much to offer if you can use it

We were at the entrance to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park and realized my Wife had left her card at the rental house. We went to the ticket window and we happened to be helped by a wonderful woman working there that suggested we call, talk to a rep., and maybe get it replaced. What did we have to lose? So I called and the rep. I spoke to was able to email it to my Wife's phone, rather than my phone, because my phone is a POS. Almost instantly, it arrived, and we were able to continue with our vacation, rather than driving 45 minutes back to the house to retrieve the forgotten card.

Using the Go Card proved a better financial deal then paying for all the sites we visited individually. The only difficulties we encountered were the differing methods to utilizing the card at different attractions. Some would let you go straight to the entrance, scan your card and your on your way. Others wanted you to wait in line to basically get prepaid tickets to be checked at the turnstiles. The method of entrance was not alway very apparent from site to site and at times could be frustrating. All in al though we would definitely use the Go Cards again.

The Go card is a great idea if you want to have a smooth tourist day through San Diego! If you use two or three of the options of the card you already get your money back which makes it a great value! When I used my cards it was for a Legolas's trip to start the day and finished with a tour of the USS Midway battleship and an hour harbor cruise through south San Diego bay! All in all a trip that would have cost me over $300 in expenses but instead cost me $178! I strongly recommend this card if you're willing to use multiple visits it has to offer!

We purchased the two day card, and found we got our money's worth. I wish the days didn't have to be consecutive, as it was really tiring to try to get so much into two days in a row. (one in our party was older, and another pregnant, so we were limited in how much we could handle in a day.) I would have purchased a third day if they didn't have to be consecutive so we could have a rest day in between. We really enjoyed Safari Park, the Zoo and the cruise. The only problem was that the drive and time to see Safari Park used all of one day's time.

We get the San Diego Go Card every summer for our family trip. We take full advantage of the card and go to Legoland, San Diego Zoo, San Diego Zoo Safari Park, Fleet Science Center, San Diego Natural History museum, and all of the museums within Balboa Park. This card gives us the flexibility to enter and exit each park when we want so, when the kids get tired, we can relax for a while without having to feel like we need to get our money's worth for a single-day ticket. We love this card and will continue to get it every year!

I have no compliants. This card was awesome and saved me a fortune. I am a busy body and still only managed to do half of the list. You have to use this card the number of days you bought it (consecutively). You cannot take a day in between. also you only have till 530pm to get into a venue. I still think I would of ended paying double unless I got this card. It is worth every penny. Don't mind the negative reviews, I read them and still got the card and loved it. You have to follow the rules they outline which is not much.

Go city all inclusive pass is so convenient and covers a lot of attractions! We bought 3 days San Diego pass and covered the following: Day 1 - zoo and science fleet museum Day 2- sea world and Belmont park ( you get unlimited rides wristband) Day 3 - Legoland and Speed Circuit Passes worked seamlessly and remember to enter before 5:30pm to any attraction. Wish this pass allows full day instead of 5:30pm to any attractions, this way we could cover even more! But they have a rule, which still worked

Worked great at the San Diego Zoo, staff were really helpful, let us know what line to go through and all the things we could do in the park using our pass. Legoland was a bit more confusing, we waited in line and were told once we got through to the entry it was the wrong line and we had to go wait in another line. Once we got to the kiosk, though, staff were great, knew exactly what to do and we were soon on our way. All in all it was a good experience and we will definitely get the passes again!

Not a wise decision! I did the quick math on what things would cost and bought the pass. Then attempted to make reservations, which are required for MANY of the attractions, and really limits the appeal of the pass. Fishing was booked, legoland had no openings, Sea World required vaccination (we had teens who aren’t), and the kicker was our harbor tour was cancelled about 2 hours before it was set to start. It seemed the cheapest attractions ended up being the only ones we could utilize.

This Go San Diego card was such a good purchase. It was a great deal for what all I got to do! I got the 5 day pass, which is $250, but I used a coupon, so it ended up being $236. I was able to go to multiple places that would have been $100 each just for a one day ticket. The 5 day pass also allowed access to multiple days at SeaWorld, which would have been $100 per day. Overall, I highly recommend this card. I was able to do so many things that I easily got my money's worth and more!

absolutely terrible. we booked the package with 5 options specifically for a a certain activity that was cancelled just minutes before it was scheduled to start. we were even on the trolly and ready to go when this occurred. the customer service representatives hung up on me several times and were all incredibly hostile when I tried to explain the situation. I’ve never experienced more stress than using this go pass. do not recommend at all and am extremely disappointed.

We took the 7 day pass and there was way more to do than we could possibly get to. But some of them we wouldn't use anyway and we were always busy. We did nothing but go to places available with the card. There was never any problem with using the card but we did have some confusion with where to go at the site to get in. And one place even let us in early because we had the card (it was either Legoland or Sea World). I would definitely look for it again in another city.

I would not recommend this card for senior citizens. I bought cards for my husband and I and we were only able to use them twice. On the third day my husband was not feeling well enough to go out and I stayed at the hotel with him. And so the cards were wasted because you have to use them on consecutive days. If you miss one day, the card is no good. It was a waste of money. I think the company should allow the card to be used if you have to skip a day to rest.

It's an amazing deal if you can actually get to enough of the attractions. We had 4 children with us so going all day wasn't an option and 1 kiddo ended up sick, so we lost a day from that. I might consider buying the discounted specific attraction passes the next time we use Go City passes. Either way, it was an easy and seamless process to both purchase and use the passes. The app means you don't have to keep up with any paper, which is great when traveling!

I was very pleased with the purchase of the Go City card for our trip to San Diego. It included more activities than we could have ever accomplished in the length of our stay. I would have rather had more options than less though, so it was well worth it! We got in Sea World, San Diego Zoo, kayaking & snorkeling, LegoLand, whale watching cruise, USS Midway and many others. Such a great time and made much more affordable with this card! Highly recommend!

Liar liar pants on fire! Stay away! I went to the Maritimes Museum and they wouldn't accept our valid passes. I also inquired about boat cruises. They were also invalid. I spoke to the salesperson and she seemed frustrated that Go San Diego misleads people. Read the fine print. You can get a much better deal through the 3 Day San Diego Zoo pass that gives you access to Sea World and Legoland. Overpriced with many options not available. Stay away!

Overall we saved a lot of money and got to do so many things! However, make sure to read fine print for activities like kayaking. Our pass only covered a 90 minute kayak rental, but we wanted to do the cave tours as well. So we ended up paying quite a bit extra to tour caves, rent wetsuits, etc. Otherwise we did the zoo, whale watching tour, and Hop on Hop off bus tour on top of kayaking all for less than $200. So definitely worth it overall!

We had a great experience with our San Diego Go Card! I did research on cost for each park prior to traveling and knew that I would be saving money off the bat buying the Go Card. I got our family the 3 day pass, so we got free admission to Sea World as a bonus! We managed our time wisely and were able schedule two locations a day before the 5:00 cut off time for admittance. We will definitely look into purchasing again on our next vacation!

We purchased the 5 day pass. We went to Sea World, San Diego Zoo, San Diego Zoo Safari Park. USS Midway, Hornblower Harbor Cruise north and Hornblower Harbor Cruise south, Balboa Park several times using our GoPass. We felt that we saved money and we certainly saw a great deal of what San Diego has to offer! We would recommend the GoPass and will research it in the next city that we visit as well! Very worthwhile and keeps you focused!!!

I purchased the Go San Diego Card on Groupon and unfortunately they don't tell you that the card has hours of 9am until 5:30 pm. I planned my day out but still wasn't able to make it to more than 2 attractions listed. It was a complete waste of money. I went to the USS Midway and the San Diego Zoo. I sped through both locations not really able to enjoy just to make it across town at 5:40pm and wasn't able to get into Belmont Park.

I bought a 7 day Go San Diego card for my family of 4. It allowed us to go to as many attractions as we wanted for 7 straight days. We saved so much money and visited more than we ever would have without the card. It is perfect for a place you are not familiar with. We planned a trip to San Diego but didn’t really know the best places to visit— the San Diego card gave us a ton of awesome ideas. This card totally made our trip!!!

We had no problems anywhere. Used it on our phone for all 4 of is, did the 7 day pass. Used it at Sea world twice, Lego Land, Belmont park most days as we were staying right next to their. The Safari zoo, Midway, children's museum, museum of man, etc. Used it at the gate/entrance at all places except at Legoland you have to go through ticket line. Turn brightness all the way up on phone to avoid scanning issues. Was great!

We got GREAT value out of the 7-day pass. Considering what we would have spent for the high value attractions anyway (Legoland, Sea World, Zoo, Safari Park) getting to see so many other museums in Balboa Park, the USS Midway, etc were simply bonuses. That way we didn't feel bad spending a lot of money on a single museum if we didn't like it or didn't spend much time inside. Definitely will consider for other cities.

This was an AWESOME way to see the sights around San Diego! A super deal once you compare what each attraction cost! I read the blogs and made the decision to download the app plus print my.passes as a backup plan, I had one issue in which the scanner didn't scan on my phone, but I whipped out my paper pass and was able to enjoy the day as planned! I highly recommend the Go Pass for all your touring experiences!

There were several attractions that were only valid on weekends. I couldn't find anywhere in the app or online that said weekends only so I was disappointed to find this out when trying to book/ make reservations. If you aren't staying the weekend, like us, I would think twice about the amount of days you get for your pass. Still a good value, but I don't feel like I really used it to the max as I had planned.

This card is so amazing to have while traveling! First off we went to a lot of the included items on the card, which really helped only having to bring your phone and being able to look up things to do. While it was sort of expensive for 2 adults, not having to worry about paying for everything in addition to the vacation itself was wonderful. Definitely planning to get this card again for my future travels!

The Go Card was the best way for my family to travel. 95+% of the things we wanted to do in San Diego and the surrounding are were covered under the card and by the 5th day of the 7 day cards, they had paid for themselves. Actual saving was approx. $500.00 for a family of 4. I have already recommended them to family that are headed out for a vacation and friends that are making plans for the near future.

We saved so much money using the Go Card in San Diego. We purcahsed the 3 day pass and went to Legoland (btw it's like $100 just to get in), the San Diego Zoo (was so nice to have access to all their shuttles around the park, especially with my 2 y/o) and 1 hour harbor cruise ride which was a relaxing alternative to other amusement parks. I will without a doubt, purchase a Go Card for future vacations!

So much fun! My family loved San Diego! The choices of things to do are amazing. So much to do; so little time! We purchased the 5 day card and went to San Diego Zoo, Safari, LegoLand, Sea World, and Belmont Park. 5 full great days! Love the concept but more visibility is needed for the underwriting (ie, applicable time period, not being able to enter all La Jolla caves with a rental, etc...). For reservations, there were 3-4 activites that I tried booking via the app and there was no seamless process to complete the booking without calling activity management. All these factors completely crippled my San Diego trip.

We had a group of 7 and purchased a 5 day Go Card for San Diego. Loved the convenience of it and we did LOTS. Hit the major attractions and the card paid for itself so everything on top of that was free. Only thing didn't like was that you needed to use the card for 5 consecutive days and with the kids it would have been nice to have a "down" day in the middle. Would highly recommend!!

The GO card saved us hundreds of dollars over the course of our visit. We went to more places than originally planned, and went twice to a few of them. If you are planning on hitting a lot of activities, you should consider the GO card! I would definitely use a card like this again for future trips. It was fast and easy to use, and the app saved us carrying around a bunch of paperwork.

Cool concept, but the absolute worst customer service. Covid-19 has been difficult on everyone and has caused many trips to be cancelled. Does Go City care? Not at all. They refuse to give a refund or even a credit to be used in the future. This company is stealing money from those of us trying to get by. I would not recommend them at all unless you have invested in Game Stop recently.

This is a very value if you plan and us it right. I had a 3 day pass.I had it planned so we were at the first attraction everyday when it opened. Planning the day out so that we reached our last attraction around 5 pm.. that way we could stay til close. We were able to hit all the attractions we wanted to see. The key to using the go card is planning. Some of the places we got to see.

One of the best bargains in San Diego! We got the five day pass and saved ~$200 on full price admissions At every attraction, the ticket takers were aware of and accepted the Go Card. I do recommend you do your research. Some attractions are seasonal, but that is mentioned in the fine print - so no surprise to us. Plan in advance and pace yourself. We were only limited by our stamina.

We always try to use these cards when we travel to a city covered by them. They are definitely a good value if you are planning to visit sites covered by the card. We have used them in Chicago, New York, San Antonio, and San Diego and have never been disappointed. Very easy to use and we have never had a problem at any of the venues with using the card. I highly recommend these cards!

I absolutely love that this is available in so many cities. I googled things to do in San Diego and this was the first thing that popped up! We bought the 3 day two adults and 1 child San Diego go card. We were able to go Legoland, Sea World, Hornblower Whale watching cruise and to both San Diego Zoo and San Diego Safari park. Thanks for allowing us to have MAJOR fun and save BIG!!!

Bought a three day pass. Can't do the Hop on/off Trolley and SeaWorld, It's one or the other. Their add doesn't say that. Marine Museum only included if you build your own itinerary. Some of the attractions are in LA, Newport Beach, Anaheim, etc., not even close to San Diego. Save your money on a multi day pass. There lots of ways to get free discounts for individual attractions.

Impossible to get a hold of any one with the Go San Diego pass either by phone or virtual chat. Been on hold for over an hour on multiple days before finally giving up. Also, difficult to get a hold of the individual attractions to get answers. We've spent more time on hold than actually using the pass. Really love the city, but I would NOT recommend using the Go San Diego pass.

Worked great for the zoo and aquarium. However I had a reservation with the speedboat adventures which was cancelled. They allowed speedboat adventures to redeem one of my passes and then cancel my reservation and would not give me my pass back. Spent 30 minutes on the phone trying to get it back. They eventually refunded 15% but it was a very frustrating experiences

Using our GO SAN DIEGO card was one of the best purchases we bought. I loved the idea that things were already paid for in advance, especially when we went to Balboa Park. We did the hop on hop off trolley tours and it is well worth it, if you want to see San Diego without the hassle of driving in it, use the hop on hop off. The GO CARD is worth your money and time.

Having the card, made the while San Diego visit even better as we saved $$$ and had more time to enjoy new things without having to wait in line to purchase tickets. I highly recommend purchasing the Go SAN Diego Card especially if you are visiting & want to get the most out of the experience. Next time I visit, I will get the card again to do more sightseeing!

This card was an amazing addition to my trip with my daughter. We were able to experience so many more things without having to think about ticket purchases and stuff like that. With the app on my phone; i didn't have to think about remembering a card or anything either. It was great!! I can't wait to see what other cities offer this to try out on another trip.

The Go San Diego Card was such a great deal...we were able to rent kayaks, surfboards and boogie boards in La Jolla, race K1 cars, enjoy Belmont Park, see dolphins and sea lions and see the animals at the San Diego Safari Park and Zoo. So easy to use...highly recommend this great deal to see and do it all at an affordable cost! There is something for everyone!

This is such a great way to afford many great places around the city. We did notice many are reservation based and can be booked out for months. Plan ahead. The big parks are easy but tons of little experiences are very limited but super fun. It is not hard to do two events in the day. During covid we either did one big park or one park and something else.

This really was a great deal!!! Take advantage of the trolley, And plan ahead for the stops that will take you to the attractions you want to see! Make sure and look ahead at the times for the cruises, they aren't open all days and we missed out. Go to the zoo, even if you just ride the free double decker bus to see the overview, you won't regret it.

This card worked out great for our teenage kids that were staying in San Diego for a few days. It was expensive (reason for 4 not 5 stars), but they were energetic enough to get full value out of the card by visiting the zoo the first day, several museums the second day and paddleboarding the third day. I wouldn't recommend more than 2-3 days.

The explorer pass said Legoland was part of it. We get there and it doesn't work so we had to call and was put on hold for just over a half hour. We canceled the explorer pass and just paid for all of our events which ended up being a better price anyway. They refunded pretty fast though and had great support on the phone once they answered..

I really enjoy the cityCard, it included almost everything that I would love to visit. 3-day pass include better deals. One thing need to know is you can only pick SeaWorld or Trolley, not both of them. However the people organize the Trolley were very nice and offer me a discount. If I go to another city, I would like to buy CityCard again.

The card was so easy to use and convenient. At every location our family visited, our experience was positive. I am not sure what all the bad reviews were of card readers not working or that locations were not able to find reservations. If I need to use the Go City Card again, I will use it. Unfortunately we have been unable to use our Go San Diego pass as our visit from UK was cancelled due to Covid 19. We have tried to get a refund via the web site but with no response at all. Does anyone know how to apply ? Have only given a one star rating as have had no response, but when I've used Go SD before have had 5 star service.

Highly recommend if you’re planning to see San Diego as a “tourist”. This pass saves let’s you visit San Diego zoo, Legoland, Safari park and Other places to see in San Diego at a discounted price. We bought it at Costco and it’s even cheaper than if you were to buy directly from their website. Either way, this pass is totally worth it

Go City Card was a good experience. Helped me not worry about the entry ticket prices and just focusing on planning the day. It was hectic though trying to cover so many places. All in all it was good fun. The Go City card is totally worth it. They should just extend the timings from 9 am to 6.30 pm instead of current 10 am to 5.30 pm.

I have used the Go cards for both LA and San Diego. This last trip to San Diego was awesome and having the go card on my phone made it easy and fun to go see things I may not have seen had it not been a part of the card. We didn't have to stand in line to get in to the places. Plus I saved money which as a single mother is a plus!

The go city pass is really a great value, came in because I had a few questions after some confusion online, but the lady helping me was more then happy to explain everything in detail and got me set up fast. Would definitely look into getting the go city pass if you are looking to see attractions of the city at a major discount.

Purchased for my daughters. They were able to utilize the listing of all events included from the purchase of the three day pass to plan activities maximizing all of their time. Passes worked as advertised -- daughters commented on how easy it was to get in everywhere combined with the ease of use through the app on their phones.

We loved the flexibility the Go Card gave us for touring around town. We could enter so many museums without feeling like we had to spend hours in each one to get our money's worth, but could go in for a bit. We purchased the card for 3 days of Trolley Tour. The flexibility was worth the investment, completely!

Purchased the seven day Go City Card for a trip to San Diego. Used it every day of our seven day trip. It was so much easier than standing in line to get to parks and other venues. Had a blast. Well worth the cost....I haven't calculated how much we saved, but I know the card more than paid for itself.

We loved using the Go San Diego Card! We added it on our phones. The card saved us a bunch of time waiting in lines to buy passes at the attractions we wanted to visit. By the end of the trip it more than paid for itself! We will absolutely use the Go Card for our future trips to other cities.

My daughter and I visited San Diego and purchased a go card. It was wonderful! We saved so much money and did many activities that we probably wouldn't have done had they not been included. Super easy and convenient to use. I will definitely be getting this again and highly recommend it.

The San Diego go card was absolutely amazing to have for our trip! We did so much in the few days that we were there for a fraction of the cost, and it was so easy to use! The 3 day + options with the premium attractions are awesome, we did the speedboat tour and it was so much fun!

We really liked the GO San Diego card. It was super easy to use and saved us some money. The only draw back is that you can not use it after 5:00. We wanted to go see the Whaley House museum in the evening but could not because of the time restriction. Other than that, it was great!

Easy to use and saved us money. Only reason it got a 4 star is we wanted to go on a whale watching excursion and the dates we went weren't the dates for whale watching when we got to the ticket booth. We used the info of the San Diego Go site and that info told us the wrong dates.

In general, was a great experience and felt like we got our moneys worth with the one day pass. It would have been nice to have a map of the locations that took our pass for ease of planning. Some of the options required advance booking which were a little difficult to navigate.

The San Diego Go Card was an excellent way to go explore as many places as you can fit in for a very reasonable price. I suggest any families to explore BElmont Park for the entire day, my 5 kids had the best time there and Legoland was just a ton of waiting in line!!

We are a family of 4 w/ 2 teen daughters we got a 3day San Diego go card for our last trip there. It is was great & well worth it. We did have 3 really busy non stop days but we ended up going to attractions we probably wouldn't have w/o the card. Worth a try.

Thought it was a good deal. Got a 3 days all inclusive pass. 1st day we did legoland and midway 2nd day we did seaworld and belmont park and ride 3rd day we did the 1 hour boat cruise Will definitely check out the go city pass when going to other cities

We used the explorer pass when visiting San Diego and saved a decent amount of money. The only downside is the app stated the San Diego zoo was only included with the all inclusive pass. This is NOT true. You can visit the zoo with the Explorer Pass.
