Short Story: Jose & his team did a fantastic job, they were VERY efficient & quick, and they also had the best price out of everyone I got a quote from. Highly recommended! Long Version: I just moved here from Florida and got a few estimates in the West Hollywood area. I was looking for the best deal, so I first called the guy who came up to me at Home Depot with his business card and said he’d hook me up… He came out to my 2/2 apt and quoted me at $5k! I was surprised, since he didn’t even have a business on Google to look up reviews for… And he also wanted me to pay for the paint + supplies… So I told him I would get back to him after I got a few more estimates. He then dropped his price to $3k, and said it would take 3-4 days to do 2 quotes with 3 guys… I told him I’d call him the next day and just wanted to get at least 1 or 2 more estimates first. I then called Go Paint and they quoted me at $2800 and that included paint & supplies… Plus they had great reviews and I was actually able to go into it with more confidence… I also called 1 more company with great reviews nearby, but they quoted me at $5k as well, so I immediately told them “thanks anyway,” and called back Go Paint. Not only were they the best price, but they were able to start the very next morning, they did a GREAT job, AND they were finished with 2 coast in less than 4 hours! (4 days?! I knew that other guy was a bit off! Lol) If you’re looking for a great, professional, quick but thorough paint job, then this is the company for you!

Jose recently refinished 5 exterior doors, a gate and a bamboo fence at my home. He had to get access to my neighbors property to do both sides of the fence and I made the mistake of not getting on a ladder to inspect the entire job. But a couple days later I got on the ladder and found he had missed all of the tops boards of the fence. Then I peeked over the fence and saw he missed one complete panel of the fence, which is a panel of about 3' X 8'. I called him and made an appointment for him to come over and look at what needs to be corrected. He no- showed and when I talked to him he said he was sick. So we tried to reschedule but I had to leave town. When I came back we set up another appointment and he no-showed again. I texted and called him and had no response. I left one more phone message and again, no response. The work he did was good but I can't recommend him because I will have to hire someone else to finish the fence, and pay for it twice. I feel like I was ripped off.

We contracted Go Painting to paint our house interior and kitchen cabinets and to stain our wood posts and trim. Jose and his team did an amazing job on everything and were exceptionally professional throughout the whole process. Jose is thorough from start to finish; he aligned with us on color, finish, etc. at the beginning and wrapped up with a final walkthrough. I also want to highlight his team's diligent prepping process, which left us with clean surfaces and beautiful paint and stain, and Jose's skilled spray painting of the cabinets. Jose was always responsive both in person and via phone. It was a very collaborative process in which Jose provided his expertise and ideas and his team made any necessary updates/corrections. Although covid and my husband and I working from home added some hurdles to the task, Jose and his team helped make our house look brand new, and now it really feels like home. Overall, I highly recommend Jose and Go Painting.

We recently bought a home and hired Go Painting to do our whole interior: walls, ceilings and molding. They were fast, thorough and well-priced. As part of the project, the team took care of additional aesthetic upgrades like removing the backsplash in our kitchen and the tile on our fire place. They did a great job not just removing it but also adding new drywall/ texture. They also went beyond the initial project scope to help fix the drywall that had been removed from our recent plumbing work and some drywall that was improperly installed from another project. Jose’s team was recommended to me from a friend and I’d recommend them to anyone else looking for paint/drywall work that is both well-priced and well executed.

We hired Jose for a variety of things - staining a very weathered pergola, stucco patching around the house, stucco repair after new window installation and indoor painting. The first half of the job is done (waiting on my windows to complete the second half), and we couldn’t be happier with the work. Jose and his team do a great job in prepping and covering areas to ensure that nothing gets painted that shouldn’t be, and the attention to detail on the work is top notch!

Jose and his crew did a great job on our indoor restoration project. We had significant drywall damage and needed to repaint nearly our entire house. His crew was fast and efficient and did excellent work. Jose is a pleasure to work with, very responsive to calls and texts, and kept in great contact throughout the job (as we were staying in a hotel). He also patched and repaired our front door and made it look as good as new. I would definitely use his services again.

Jose has an eye for detail and color that really impressed us. And we are thrilled with the finished product (interior painting in our Dining and Living Room space, as well as our entryway and hallway, including doors,). It took us a long time to find someone who was able to stain some cabinets in our kitchen to match the original wood in the house. And he did it! Jose works very hard, and is very good at the job he does. Worth every penny.

Everything was done according to the schedule and the painters, Jose and Julian were very professional. They kept us up-to-date on a daily basis and caused minimal disruption. Jose was referred to me by my property management company. An occupied tenant unit needed some painting, and I was nervous about their belongings and floors during painting. He was extremely careful and covered everything with plastic sheeting. He was on time, reasonably priced, and the quality of his work was excellent. I would definitely use him again.

Unfortunately, I forgot the name of the business owner (it's been a while). But he is very nice and very accommodating. He really worked hard on painting my 50 foot metal fence to make sure the job is done excellently and charged us the most reasonable price. I am glad I hired this company and will hire it again if I need to.

Jose is very unreliable and untrustworthy. He was supposed to come out and paint my home. After not answering either my wife’s or my phone calls in over a week he did a terrible job. It was incomplete and this was a color he recommended to my wife. I will never do business with him or this company again. Stay away!
