  • "Beware of the scam"

"We walked in for a $22 foot massage! Next thing I know, we had some involuntary neck masseuse people giving us a neck rub! Silly us, we thought it was complementary as we had already made it clear that we only wanted a foot massage! Minutes into the massage, a lady walked in and asked us if we liked the massage, we said yes! Next thing she yelled $46 each because you have foot and neck! We tried to decline, but it was too late into the massage! Well, okay"

    "Straight up scam city!!!"

    "Very rude"

Beware of the scam. Let me explain, I was walking by and the pushy employees outside the store asked us to come in. Me and family decided to try out the 10 minute foot massage for $22. I had the head, neck, and back massage. When it was all said and done, it was very mediocre. SO NOW THE SCAM, they told me our total and told us they accept cash only, which was not posted anywhere in the business or even verbally explained to us. I told them I have credit card only and they said I have to use the in-store ATM with $6 fee to pay them and there was no other way. The employees were rude afterwards and demanded I have to use their ATM. I refused and complained about the fraud and deception to the employees. After lots of complaining, they went and got their manager, who went to the register and removed a small cardboard box hidden near the register and underneath was a credit card payment machine. The manager took my credit credit and accepted payment. The manager then demanded a tip for the employees. Fraudulent practices, please use caution!

We walked in for a $22 foot massage! Well, okay..$46 it is, sure! Next thing we wanted to pay using our credit cards they told us cash only!! So we had to withdraw cash from their atm machine that charged a $3 fee!! After paying cash for the “service” before we could even get back the change they talked about tips!!! Horrible horrible experience!! NEVER GOING BACK!!

Straight up scam city!!!. I was shown a board with a list of services and I picked "full body massage 40 minutes $56"....so far so good. Massage was average/below average but THEN when I went to pay: they wouldn't accept my credit card. They said they didn't take them (lying to me). When I insisted and said their web page showed they accepted them the thief in charge picked up a box and under it was a machine. They proceeded to charge my card $88. When I predictably flipped out he pointed to ANOTHER smaller board inside that did say 1 hour 88 but that wasn't what I asked for and on the front of their place there is only ONE option....40 minutes...and I didn't upgrade. So buyer beware...scam city!!!

Very rude. We stopped before heading back to the airport. The sign doesn’t mention it’s a cash business. The owner told us to use the atm. As an owner eat the merchant fee. I do it everyday with my business when people use a card to pay for my services. The accounting conference was great but the massage and the experience was horrible. After we paid the person ringing up asked about a tip. Tips are contingent of great service. My friend didn’t leave a tip but I left one but one wasn’t deserved at all. I would suggest rolling the fee into your price or incorporate a cash only sign. No one wants to incur an atm fee.

I loved this place, it's nothing fancy but let me tell you they are very professional. I told the gentleman of the points I needed work on and he happily made it happen for me. This place is super clean and staff are all friendly. I was inspired by the stress that was released and the technique that was used that made me feel so much better in my body walking out there. The massage therapists give it there all and can intuitively feel where you need the work. I always come back to Good Hands , what a blessing!

I had a table massage and they try to sell you on having two people work on you at the same time, while you're already on the table! All of the sudden I felt 4 hands on me, when I didn't ask for it. I don't like that. The person giving the massage was very rough and I had to tell her to tone it down. I had numerous bruises on my back and calves later that evening and for days. I had a foot massage a few days earlier which was ok. This place is ok for a foot massage, but do NOT get a table massage!!

Went last night on Christmas to get a massage. Its a very open place. The massage was phenomenal but abience was definitely Nola-ish. There is a bar next door and the customers next door were pretty loud... But, the massage part was excellent. The lady got all the knots out of my back. I'm a little sore today but that's a good sign. Great prices for the quality of massage. Reminded me of Vietnam and Thailand ... going to come back here every time I'm in Nola.

A winning idea for tired tourist feet. This is chinese reflexology, which I’ve gotten many times, many places - not some soft shiatsu kind of massage. They find pressure points where you’ve got issues and massage them for healing. They use some traditional tools to really work those points. If you don’t like that touch, then ask for just hands. You can even get two masseuses at once! Just be aware it’s an upsell; they call it a “combo.”

Five stars for an amazing , relaxing and totally professional massage. Not to mention, incredibly affordable! It was just what I needed after work. My friend had a foot massage, and I had a full body massage. It turned out to be an unforgettable experiences. PLUS: this place is super clean, I even took a picture before it :) The owner was also very nice, and friendly. LOVE this place, we'll definitely come back for it !

A very good 20 min chair massage. They start off strong but will adjust the pressure if you let them know. I felt very relaxed after my session was done. The only thing we didn't like was them trying to have us stay longer by telling us we had tight shoulders and an extra 20 mins would make it better. Plus they are very pushy when it comes to getting people inside.

Very good, strong hands, good technic! Got a foot massage, had an ankle surgery recently and my foot gets tired after some walking around. Went to this place, in the PM, when my foot was starting to act up, got a 30 minutes, deep tissue, foot massage and voila, all pain is gone. Even after the PT I didn’t feel that good. Place is legit, highly recommend.

I've been here twice. The first time I came I could hardly move my neck. I forget who I had but she was wonderful. She worked on my back and by the time I left I had more movement then I had in days. Both times were very strong massages and it can hurt but my back sure thanked me later. This is a wonderful little place and the prices are great.

Great spot! I didn’t feel that they were pushy, i got good vibes. Customers Complaining about the pressure, it is acupressure massage so just google it before if you aren’t sure about the style. I personally love it, but everyone has preferences. I do think they should put up a cash only sign though, it should be more clear.

  • Jada H

very aggressive and rude, they only had make masseuses. They only take cash, they asked for a tip multiple times. Worst message i've ever had, way to much pressure even when I asked if they could do it lighter. Went with three friends we all left in pain and feeling very uncomfortable with our experience.

Wonderful place. Strong, thorough and deep massage. I feel so much relief every time I walk out from this place. My back hurts on a regular basis since I do construction, and this is the place that helped me to get rid of common lower back pains. I take a full body massage, however and never regret it

  • Jessica Jefferson

they are pushy and try to get you to do more than you want. I am very sore from the neck shoulder and head massage, due to him rubbing the same spot on my next forever. The foot massage was not relaxing and hurt more than it felt good. I would not go back

  • Steven Eikenbary

I know what you're thinking... this place looks sketchy. Get past that feeling and get yourself a rub. This place is LEGIT. I got a neck / shoulder massage, which was much needed, and the guy went to town on me. It was fantastic. It

I didn't want to expect anything superior but at least keep their facility more private and comfortable. The therapist I had was just giving me an average back rubs with cheap oil. I felt like I just wasted &60 on this place.

  • Claire Elaine

Awesome tandem massage for half hour. You won't regret it. Just close your eyes and relax. They are clear about prices, just make sure you're paying attention and not in lala land already with the free sample! Lol

  • Karle Franke

Disgusting extremely unsanitary place that doesn’t take cards illegally to avoid paying taxes. Also very rude and dishonest staff. Will upcharge you for services you never received or asked for . DO NOT GO HERE

  • Jerry Vang

One of the worse massage I've ever experienced. Masseuse lack in skills, knowledge, and experience. I can probably give out a better massage. Do not waste your money.

  • Lou Ella

This was the best massage I have had in years. Do not let the look of the place deceive you. Worth the $46 I spent. Good way to spend break from conference.

  • Steve McCaa

A darn good massage. Primarily caters to the foot massage traffic. But does do full body table massage. I’ve had better and cheaper but not in NOLA.

  • Verna “Gaga” Wilson

20 minute chair massage was great. Just enough to relax me from the 'travel stress'. Will we (husband and I) return? I think yes. …

  • Sandra Sigur

I am Reflexologist, and I go to Good Hands at least once a month for chair massage and Reflexology. I feel brand new after that.

  • Jacquie L

A really outstanding, unassuming place. I don’t know a lot about massages but whatever they did was MAGIC.

  • Thomas Rowley

Careful of upcharges Went in for chair massage and walked out over 200 dollars.Very dirty.

  • Shayne Stark

One of the best massages I have ever had and it is reasonably priced as well.

  • oliver kahn

Worst massage I've ever had. Masseuse wasn't receptive to preferences.

  • Alexander Papastrat
