This was my first time at Government Center, I used the Metromover to go to Bayside. I was skeptical of the service, but gave it a try. It's totally free of charge, and very convenient for most downtown locations. It’s expensive and difficult to find parking in the downtown area. So I catched the Metromover at the School Board Station, which is the first stop, all the way to Government Center, to switch to the inner loop to go to the Wolfson Campus station. The instructions are not super user friendly if you are not familiar with the area. After getting to Government Center I was a little lost, I wanted to make sure to grab the right mover. The officer at the station was super helpful and guided me towards the correct mover. The waiting time between movers is minimal, so if you miss one or it comes with too many people, you can catch the next one within minutes. There was police precessense in some of the stops; however, none of them got inside the actual mover to check if everything was okay. On the mover I was in, there were two homeless people sleeping on the floor, which I dont think is correct. There were kids, elderly people, and even tourists traveling and they seemed uncomfortable with the situation, not going to lie as I did as well. I think that the police officers should ride or check the mover for this type of situation. They need to make sure it is a safe environment for everyone riding.

Traveling by train from Miami's Government Center Station to Miami International Airport. Great experience. $2.25 per person. Clean station. Clean and comfortable train. Duration of trip depends on the time of day. We took it at around 5:15pm and the journey was very short. You take a mover from the Airport station to the terminals. Highly recommended.

Vrooom Vroooom I love traveling in trains allows me to ease my mind and miss a couple stops while I’m at it :) lol.. This location can get busy and at night seem unsafe I must add, but I do see cops often patrolling the area so that’s always a traveling at night bonus..

Great building in downtown Miami Florida. It needs to be refreshed in terms of the interior and exterior. It is a great transport hub as it has a metro rail station, metro mover and bus services. There is good security and a few stores, a restaurant and a bank.

Easy access getting there from metro bus, also metro rail, and metro mover. Depending what part of town you are located or coming from. Did have a little difficulty with staff or administrators at Golden passport office or where you go to renew buspass.

For a large city the downtown area gets empty and full of homeless. Don't see and security and you feel alone at night. When the last train is about to arrive the security imside lock the doors, so you may miss your train. Which isn't 24 hours

Downtown station. Busy and lively station. Got your outdated brushed aluminum, which anything Miami Dade County Owned was covered. In. Even the "mirrors" in the bathrooms?!?!?! And ur mix of homeless which are always present. Its Miami.

Driver less mode of transport, Metro Dade transportation ahead of its time on this Smart city move, however could do with being less dump when it comes to the modernization and expansion of Metrorail.

Nice central hub for transportation, metromover, metrorail, and 595 express. Though I haven't seen a clean restroom yet, I just use the unofficial one located in the stairwell.

Very public with visual security in place. You can pretty much go in whichever direction you need from this station.

Have not seen this place on a regular schedule, but security is very present. Officer J. Brown was amazingly kind.

Regular metro mover station. Not dangerous or anything. It's worth to see when you are around. And it's free!
