Still some lovely clothes shops but not much else apart from Foyles bookshop. Not the same without John Lewis. That should have been kept open. Clinton’s and Paperchase gone so nowhere to buy cards anymore. Carluccios and TH Baker jewellers gone. TheTesco Express is very poor. Far too small and hardly any choice. Too many eateries. Terrible noise from Joe the Juice. You don’t get music that loud in other railway stations. No toilets downstairs unless you have a train ticket to go to the platform toilets. And those are badly placed at one end of the station. Upstairs in Grand Central there are only about 18 toilets for tens of thousands of people passing through. Ridiculous. The only restaurants with toilets are Costa and Cafe Nero. Cafe Nero is the only place with toilets on the ground floor.
It is a large shopping centre next to very busy Birmingham New Street train station. Its convenient location always attracts lots of customers. The most attractive section should be the 2nd floor where you can find lots of restaurants, including Asian, Chinese, Mexico or Spanish dishes etc.. Of course, you can also find special brands like Flying Tiger or Miniso here. Besides, you can also walk to the city shopping area very easily. Recommend!
Lots of restaurant choices. So far this shopping mall is really nice and trendy. However, it will be better to have more signage for guiding people where is the lift and toilets. It’s a bit hard to find the lift. Ozzy the bull (the machine ox) is fantastic. This iconic Bull captured the spirit of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games and I appreciated that it returned home and people can have a look on it while they are having shopping here.
So convenient to be here for shops as central Birmingham train station is underneath this shopping mall. Branded stores, not a good bargain but still a lot on sale. Always busy. Love it’s good area. You can try most of the world’s taste at one place. Eating & drinking and shopping all at one and top of that east to travel from here because a lot of buses and train connections.
Above Birmingham New Street Station. Part of Bullring & Grand Central Birmingham now. Tesco Express and Costa Coffee is where I go the most. Lots of vacant units. Art from The Colour Pallette Company / Draw my City looks nice. Sadly John Lewis closed for good in 2020 and is still empty.
Now this is a shopping centre where you would love to be, I don't know why I get the Christmasy feeling when I'm there specially I'm the short days when it gets dark around 4pm , there's a variety of branded shops, prices are decent
Incredible shoppig. Centre right above the train station really the living hart of Birmingham. The Bull is a spectacle on itself. It moves every now and then and is a feast for the eye. The children will love it.
Very clean shopping center, plenty of bins available. Good variety of restaurants in the food court. Directions are sign posted. Access to New Street station is convenient.
Full of restaurants and shops to visit. A must visit when coming to Birmingham. Wonderful architecture. Lots of choices and places to look at.
An absolute fantastic shopping centre. A amazing variety of shops. A really good day out. Many eating places and really good transport links.
Very strange having a new build . As you would expect , good price food and drink . Extremely busy and very difficult to find 3 seats .
It's okay inside. The place fills up when a new store opens up but then it really dies down. It's kind of empty most of the time.
A huge complex mall combined with shoppings , international restaurants and train station . A labyrinth of endless ways to go .
A lot of stores and restaurants, many elevators but limited spaces for seating if you’re not buying anything
I would rate 5 stars but it's in Birmingham so -5 stars... But I can't rate 0 stars so your lucky one star
Great place but shame about all of the shops that have closed, especially John Lewis
Level two, bad because not enough toilets for the quantity of people.
Breakfast was good usual wetherspoons breakfast. Came very quick
Rushed area , everyone is in hurry to reach his/her destiny
Everything under the same roof. I just love the experience
