I asked the staff member at the counter what a particular bakery item was as it didn’t have a description / tag on it. Staff member said it was a bun covered in chocolate syrup (which I could see) with custard inside. I decided to order this and a smoothie. The smoothie was made and given to me with a lid that didn’t fit on the cup so I asked for a lid that would fit and was told they didn’t have one, which made it really hard to carry round and not spill everywhere. I get home and the bun is entirely dry - no filling whatsoever. It’s essentially a stale type bun / bread role with a bit of chocolate piped on top. Seems the staff aren’t aware of the items for sale. Super disappointing

I called into this cafe when in the area for a late lunch. How refreshing to receive such great customer service. The guys were polite and attentive. I mistakenly ordered a ciabatta with cheddar cheese in it, which I am allergic to and gives me horrendous migraine. My mistake so I was happy to forego the ciabatta and just have my coffee but the guys insisted on making me another one without cheddar at no extra charge. Thank you. Just one little suggestion, it would be great to receive a napkin and cutlery with the food as being alone I had to cart my bags up to the end of the cafe to get them.

Food looks good but if you’re a foreigner on holiday I would NOT recommend this place. I was ignored by the staff and other locals pushed in front of me and the staff happily attended to them while just ignoring me… I waited there for 10mins trying to get their attention while they continued to serve people behind me and just ignored me? Was very strange. The staff were also yelling at people very loudly and seemed to get into arguments a lot. I left without being served, which is disappointing as the food looked really good. If English is your first language avoid this place, there’s other cafes around we’re the staff are actually friendly.

Update- I started wearing the headscarf and I went back to the store... The staff's attitude was horrible... Even though I regularly go there. They didn't even want to talk to me. I will not be going back. The coffees are well made, the latte is beautifully creamy and smooth. The selection of baked pastries is wonderful... You can smell the whiff of baking from about 3am and they open quite early... They have a selection of crossaints, Almond- stuffed with almond cream , cherry/ Danish pastry- my favourite, pistachio, and plain, and a nice selection of quite large sized sandwiches , vegetarian and meat options.

Fantastic café and bakery! This place is very inviting, and not short of customers - clearly very popular with locals and visitors. The croissants were very fresh, with new trays coming from the oven as we walked in. The staff were busy, but were also patient and took their time with me as I hobbled around with my walking aid. There's a wide range of filled croissants, baguettes, and pastries, both sweet and savoury - something for everyone. The service was pretty quick and the food was excellent, including the decaf coffee! So good, that we came back every day that we stayed in the area!!!

Unprofessional tired, exosted staff....even for a take away I wouldn't recommend.nNo manager on site so they act how ever they want. Will never recommend. They don't speak English (one of the waiter said I don't speak English!...and the other gave me the name of the lady who was absolutely ridiculous which was Aliano...not sure if it was true.... we finished what we had and we are not bothered to have coffee....we went to other cafes...some one needs to remind them there are many options and how to respect their customers....

  • PHG !

The coffee was nice, a good cup, not too strong or weak. The bakery has a wide range of options for loaves but the cakes are a bit limited. The toilets are very clean which is always a GREAT sign of a good cafe and bakery for this alone they deserve high marks, for hygiene and cleanliness. Service was very good the lady was very polite and friendly. The environment was pleasant What could be improved? When serving coffee a small biscuit, or small something could be served beside the coffee on the saucer.

We stayed in this neighbourhood for 5 days and discovered this place on our first day. The staff is so friendly even when it gets very busy. The food is fresh and delicious . I fell in love with the salmon Avocado tomato bagel and I ate it every morning. For the sweet ones, I would recommend one of the filled croissants. It is absolutely delicious and I recommend this place. The coffee is a little bit too hot but with the delicious food, it is possible to wait for it to cool down.

Love their pastries and sandwiches - they have good selection with great quality and reasonable prices! Also, staffs are very friendly and nice. Strongly recommend this local bakery! I personally like their croissants, no matter plain one or the almond one(the one in my photo). They also serve various sandwiches. I had a tuna one before and this mozzarella cheese one (on the photo) along with tomato and spinach. Prefer the mozzarella one as it is quite simple, fresh and tasty!!!

Cafe is nice and relatively clean with some lovely sandwiches on display. Unfortauntely, the sandwich I got (roast beef) was inedible- I have never in my life had such a chewy piece of beef, I genuinely suffered trying to rip off a bite and then gave up during the time it took chew it. I've never eaten a boot before, but I reckon it'd be close to this experience. The bread was very nice, but it's a shame to have to eat an empty sandwich.

A few steps away from Bayswater Station is this great cafe. We had breakfast here one morning and ordered hotdogs and doughnuts as well as cappuccino and tea and found the food and drinks tasty and nice. Probably we are hungry They have a variety of bread and drinks, so take your pick. Seating can be found on the ground floor or basement which is quite cosy and quiet. Decor is minimal but pleasing to the eye.

  • Jake B

Lovely interior, seats aren't to comfortable but with plug sockets it makes coming here with a laptop ideal although no WiFi here! I think a major plus would having WiFi. Coffees were very delicious and an excellent selection of food and sweets. Very clean though and staff were friendly, shall come back again. Music is WAY to loud, it's invasive and you need to talk so loudly to hear what you're saying.

  • Nina Bohinjc

Very tasty croissants with chocolate and fruit, good coffee and different kind of bagels, sandwiches. Recommend for quick breakfast stop.

A very buzzing caffè’ extremely popular, with a very wife selection of pastries, savoury and sweet. However it was missing the friendliness one finds in the other cafe’s, even when overly busy. The gouda pastry was a bit too oily and heavy, alongside the espresso. Cleanliness was good, prices fair

Love it lots of choices of pastries & breads for a hearty brekky. When i came here it was very crowded & fully occupied to the brim. Found a more quiet seat at the basement to my delight . Had the hot dog & donuts & english breakfast tea which all taste good. Service was good & fast. Enjoyed the modern & cozy ambience too. …

A Delightful Pause in London Took a short break at Granier Bakery Cafe in London between two destinations. The welcome was excellent, the pastries were delightful, and the Italian coffee was good, without the unpleasant acidity. Here, everything tastes authentic, unlike the overhyped coffee bars around the city. A beautiful moment indeed.

Great sandwiches, bagels, doughnuts, croissants and other pastries! They coffee is very good and they also serve juices and smoothies! They cater for vegan diet! I had the grilled chicken sandwich, and their salmon and cream cheese bagel and they were both yum! Highly recommended to stop by if you're in the area!

  • Gabriella

Such a cute place to stop and get a drink & a bite for breakfast. There are a huge variety of fresh baked goods to choose from; I’d recommend the Custard-Filled Donut and the Nutella Banana Croissant. Additionally, all of the food is fairly priced and pretty inexpensive. Would definitely recommend!

  • Γιώργος Πιστιώλας

Excellent place for breakfast or just coffee. Great options for sandwiches or snacks to go. Everything is freshly made and high quality. You may struggle to find a table to sit especially if you are a large group. Definitely give it a try if you are in the neighbourhood looking for a quick bite.

  • Matthew Langford

Fresh and tasty. This is a bakery with high quality pastries and sandwiches. It is definitely worth a visit if you are passing by. Unfortunately I can’t give it 5 stars because the custard in the donuts was very overdone and hard to eat. Everything else we had here was fantastic though!

  • Miranda Rosin

I had a spicy chicken sandwich and it was, legitimately, one of the most delicious sandwiches I have ever eaten in my entire life. Ingredients were fresh and the portion size was huge, especially for the price. Atmosphere is small and cozy, and owner is very friendly.

  • Caryn Bailey

Unfortunately, the service is horrendous. Minorities are made to stay in the cue/line while “others” are served around them. First, I thought it was a mistake, but upon the second visit realized it was intentional, and left. Racist behavior can’t be supported.

  • gabriela panaiotova

The coffee and breakfast were great. However, I didn’t have internet and I needed to check how to get to another location. When I asked one of the guys he said”We sell coffee, not internet! You can buy a prepaid card!” I found that very rude.

  • Veronica

Back in 2023, still lovely breakfast. Really nice place. Good coffe, my daughter loved the paninis grilled, really spicy! 3 years later, still the best breakfastplace! Love that they grill the bread. Really good coffe och the best juice!

Granier Bakery Cafe is a relaxed bakery/eatery in Queensway. It has freshly baked bakery items like croissants and pizzas. We tried their cakes which were good. The staff were super friendly and the place had a very relaxed vibe.

  • Ann-Marie Chan

Everything in this bakery is amazing, down to the food & coffee. Would highly recommend coming here for brunch. It gets very busy because it is in high demand. All those high street coffee shops have NOTHING on this place.

  • KyleEATS LDN

Mouth watering, high quality fresh and tasty sandwiches, pastries, sweet treats and assorted delights to suit all preferences. Still one of my favourite bakeries in London - highly recommended and will be coming back!

  • Margriet Krijgsheld

This bakery is so good that I came back here every morning of my trip to have breakfast. Delicious bread (the foccacias are my favourite) and even better coffee. The smalltalk with the barista made my days!

  • Jyk Wong

Sandwich shop with a difference - lovely empanadas and cappucino. We had an excellent breakfast here today. Filled rolls are made fresh in-house. Nice and cosy eatery with attentive+efficient staff. Go try!

  • Abdullah Alatawi

Attentive staff + a Clean cafe with too many baked goods. I tried pistachio croissant, I couldn’t taste any pistachio. For a drink, I ordered an American coffee, I didn’t like it either. Actually, I hate it

  • Lisa

Nice staff, the coffee was great and they make the orange juice fresh. It was a bit loud but nothing too bad. The food was really good and not that expensive. They also have a good selection of things.

  • Debesh Das

Stopped in really quick for a fast breakfast and was not disappointed by the selection and quality! Buñuelos nata, chocolate bretzel and apple pie strudel were fantastic! Stop by if you're in the area!

  • Jess

We tried croissants and cinnamon buns & scrolls and they were all delicious. The coffee was better than other local options but still not as good as back home in Australia. Definitely recommend!

  • Sara Varga

Lovely place. We spent 5 days in Kensington Queensway and we had breakfast here several times. Flexible opening hours, great food and coffee. Kind service too. Highly recommended for everybody.

A huge variety of freshly baked items to choose from. An excellent place to grab a croissant and a cannoli with coffee. Little space outside but plenty inside.

  • Maria Spirova

I am amazed at the good reviews. Astonishingly poor quality baked goods - without doubt, the worst I have tried across three continents. Avoid at all costs.
