I was really excited to make appointment and over the phone was told to make a deposite of $83 through zelle, I went ahead and used the same number on the website like she said and sent the money. I was told that the money was never sent even thought it's in my transaction history! I continued to explain what's happening in my end but she honestly didn't care and said to either send money and call back or do a walk in appointment which wouldn't be guaranteed which is a disappointing response to hear. I decided to delete the recipient and add the number to my phone contact list then tried adding the contact to my zelle recipient list but was given a notification that its a landline number and can't receive payments!?, if you're coming here I'd recommend just doing a walk in and not go the deposit route.

i kind of felt like she didn't know what she was doing all the way, Yeah in principle she massaged me, but i feel like she might not have received the proper training because it was painful and uncomfortable - her hands weren't tuned to me. she'd massage bony parts of me that you aren't supposed to massage cause it hurts (like directly behind your ear or just below your fingers on the top of your palm etc). It felt like her hands didn't flow with my muscles and it was just all around uncomfortable. it felt makeshift and rough. I don't think i was a difficult customer- i asked her to massage a couple spots on my back and i feel like she got frustrated with me. it was disappointing and not worth the money. cute lobby though.

This was the best massage I’ve had in Chicago, possibly the best I’ve had ever. My husband and I got a 90 min couples massage and it was exactly what we needed after a stressful wedding year. We are hoping to make this a regular appointment in the coming months. The atmosphere is calming and inviting, and everything is clean. You fill out a form prior to the appointment where you can customize the massage to exactly what your body needs. You can also choose to add hot stones which was a huge plus and felt wonderful. I was very impressed with the professionalism of the employees as well. I HIGHLY recommend Great Lakes Spa for a massage.

Best massage I’ve ever had. Hands down. I had a lot of tension and stress after a recent surgery. My regular massage therapist passed away last year and I’ve had a hard time finding anyone new. I booked same day and they fit me in. The intake process was smooth. (I love that they don’t allow shoes in the rooms.) The massage therapist was amazing. She applied the exact amount of pressure I needed and made sure to be gentle with my surgical knee. I left feeling like a wet noodle, which is a good thing! I’ve found my new massage home in Chicago.

This may be the best massage parlor in the city. Went in blind for a couple's message expecting nothing and found the experience incredible. The massage therapists were incredibly talented, used very deep pressure and gave an actual massage that's meant to reduce strain in your joints and muscles. Way more affordable than neighboring parlors in the city, as well. The staff was incredibly nice and very hospitable. We'll definitely be coming back here soon. Cannot recommend enough to others looking for a neighborhood massage parlor.

I absolutely loved my experience here, and in fact, I booked a longer appointment for my husband and I directly after because of my individual experience. I did the 30 minute massage & 60 minute facial combo, which was so professional, relaxing, and therapeutic. Kayla made sure to ask me about my specific needs during the service as well. It felt close to our experience in Bali, which we haven’t found anywhere in Chicago! I want to make this a regular part of my regimen.

Love Great Lakes Spa, my partner and I have gone twice for couples massages. Once for relaxation and another time for therapeutic, both were so helpful and just what we needed. I have also gone solo. Hot stones definitely recommended. You get to choose you preferences of the massage and the customer service is great. Going to try to make a massage from here a monthly ritual because they make a huge difference in healing back pain.

Finally a great massage in Chicago!! We have searched, we have received many recommendations, we have gone fancy, and every time we have left wondering if our expectations needed reappraisal. UNTIL WE VISITED GREAT LAKES SPA!! Wonderful service, top quality massage, affordable, easy scheduling and efficient check-in. Great Lakes is now our go-to spa. They exceeded our expectations and absolutely receive our highest recommendation.

Amazing! I wanted a to do a last minute spa day, and for this particular day, Great Lakes had availability to accommodate me quickly. First off, customer service is amazing. Everyone is very nice and kind. I got a 90min Massage and 90min facial and felt like I transformed into a new world! I fell asleep, and it was incredibbbbllyyy relaxing. Prices are very fair, service was great, and I will definitely be returning! :D

Wow. I walked in here with no expectations and walked out feeling AMAZING! My partner and I came here for a last minute couples massage with Lily and Grace and they did not disappoint! My partner said that he could feel the knots in his shoulders being worked out, I loved the mini face massage, and we both loved the hot stones! Can not wait to come back.

I had a lot of tension in my upper back and decided I needed a massage ASAP. I called and they were able to fit me in same day. Ella was a fantastic masseuse -- she applied just the right amount of pressure on the knots in my back, and relaxed every other muscle as well. I will definitely return here!

I did the 90 minute deep tissue massage and had a wonderful experience. The masseuse asked what areas she should focus on and delivered. The massage felt like a good beating, but I feel so relaxed now. Highly recommend!
