I saw a groupon for an oil change at Guardian and the reviews were really good, so I figured that I'd give this shop a shot. I was not disappointed! Brian helped me book my appointment when I called last week and I got in for an appointment the following Monday (today). When I walked in, everyone was really friendly. The tech took my keys and changed the oil, and then for the inspection took photos of parts of my vehicle that needed repairs and replacing. Then Brian sent me a text of the inspection, with ratings as to what needed to be replaced. After that I received a text with an estimate for all repairs, and Brian went through each item that needed attention on the inspection and explained it to me, in case there was anything that I didn't know. I appreciated that he went through the battery readout in detail, and didn't try to tell me that it needed to be replaced immediately: he advised that I replace it before we get -20 and lower temps, but for now it's OK. I asked for and received quotes for a transmission flush and tire changeover, and I've gotta say, I'm impressed by how fair and competitive their service rates are. I'd recommend this shop to anyone, and will be coming here for all of my service needs from now on. 5 stars!!

I could literally stand on a soap box and never stop talking about this shop!!! As someone who is not mechanically inclined, a nervous Nancy about new situations and meeting new people, and traveling outside my home base, I was incredibly impressed with Guardian!! Everything from the initial phone conversation with the advisors, to hanging out while my car was serviced, to talking to the owner, Adam afterward it was all exceptional! They have a waiting room with a plethora of seating, a complimentary snack and beverage bar with sugar-free options, free wifi, phone charger and tables! Even listening to the advisors answer phone calls was impressive. They were always kind, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. This is the place to go to support small business, to get fair and non predatory rates, and to receive top of the line customer service. I will definitely be spreading the word about Adam and the team at Guardian. Thank you for making for what typically is an uncomfortable and nerve wracking situation, a positive and welcoming one!

A great local shop with way above average attention to transparency and customer care. Brian in particular is known for going above and beyond in helping his customers out, which is my experience as well. They have a very nice quote and invoice system that clearly shows you what's wrong and what exactly you're going to pay for. It also makes it easy to know you're only getting done what you need - I find the guys here to be honest and genuine about the repairs they suggest. There's issues with my vehicles they're happy to just watch for now, and others we agree need to be done immediately - it's always a fair discussion. The shop it's self is clean and the waiting area comfortable. They have well stocked complimentary snacks and drinks, and my kids love going there. I've had them work on both my truck and my wife's SUV, and they've done a great job every time from simple maintenance to major repairs. Definitely a place I will keep going and I recommend to my friends and family.

I did not care about your ridiculously expensive price, as I thought you may work safer and better than other shops with resealable prices, but when I saw you were close to kill me, I am thinking it was a mistake to pay such a money for such an irresponsible job. You are 100 percent ruder and more aggressive in private messages, I am very sorry for you. It seems your positive comments came just from your families, nothing more real. You mention and refer to videos to answer back to any negative comments. Which videos, are you showing these imaginary videos to people who read these comments here, or just using that to screw up costumers? Anyway if I did accident and lost my tires, Me or My family definitely very seriously would sue you. I will suggest be more responsible towards your future costumers. And in the end my precious time is more valuable than wasting my time to talk with you more than this.

Update: I took my boyfriends car in for work (as his isn't European like mine) and this team is INCREDIBLE. Like so incredible that I don't think I will ever bring his car anywhere else. They kept me informed immediately if something was finished or needed repair, they were timely with the repairs, and their customer service is outstanding. Shoutout to both Brian's and Jess for being so kind and personable! They also photograph each thing that gets fixed, replaced, or needs repair to show you if you'd like to see it! Phenomenal mechanic shop, I'd give them 20/10 if I could. Thanks guys, you've earned a lifetime customer! :) Called with some questions about my car, and Brian was SUPER kind and helpful and informative. This shop doesn't work on European cars, but if I ever get another car I will absolutely be coming here based on the customer service alone. Thanks very much!

Great service. They worked with my needs and made sure I was good to go for winter. Edit: Guardian Automotive strikes again with the exceptional service. Their employees are very kind and professional and they even offer a group on for an oil change! I only had to pay around $30 for a synthetic oil change after the Groupon which is unheard of. On top of that they provide an arsenal of beautiful snacks for the customers while you wait for your vehicle to be serviced. They are quick but efficient, and make sure to check in after the service has been done to make sure everything is working properly. I will be back to have my tires changed over later next month, consider booking with them for future services they really are the best. I chose Guardian Automotive for my vehicle based on the many positive reviews I have seen on both google and Facebook and I am glad I did. I took my vehicle for diagnosis before going on a long trip. They found a few things that were in need of repairs before my adventure, provided photos and explanations for all of their findings. Brian my service advisor was honest, attentive and went over all of the repairs with me, answered all of my questions in detail and let me know which items NEEDED urgent attention and which could wait with no pressure to fix things that weren’t urgent. And not only that, I had my vehicle returned to me in just over 24 hours repaired! Guardian Automotive is AMAZING!!

Absolutely professional and very very transparent! I don't know anything about cars and its very clear when you see me. From the very moment I stepped into the shop I was explained thoroughly what was going on with my car. The guys there were upfront and warned me about potential dangers. While they could have capitalized on multiple repairs, their commitment to honesty prevailed. What was truly remarkable is that they helped me even after they finished the job, sent me articles and made me aware of a warranty I had which I wasn't aware of. Thoroughly impressed! Car repairs are never fun but these guys did everything they could to make it as painless as possible. They did a full inspection, provided me with photos and clear explanations of everything that needed repair. They identified what work was critical and what could wait. The work was done quickly and the diagnostic fees were deducted from my final bill. The staff were friendly, responsive, and provided excellent customer service. I feel confident the work was done well and that I was fairly charged. This was my first time here and I won't hesitate to come back. If you need any work done on your car I highly recommend you try this place!

Great service! Brought in my car to get an oil change after seeing their Groupon. They were efficient and noted a faulty part installed by my last mechanic. After telling them I just got that water pump replaced last year, they gave me a quote for repairs with them but reminded it should still be under warranty and that the previous mechanic should replace it for free. They didn't push me to get it fixed with them and I really appreciated that! They also noted that my tires were installed backwards (I didn't know that was possible!) and fixed that for free! They seem to be honest and do great work. I will definitely be coming back!

My wife got a Groupon to get an Oil Change and a 40 point inspection in December. The write up she got was everything was good. Two weeks ago her rear tires were squealing. We took the vehicle to the nearest automotive mechanic. He told us the brakes were very bad. He showed us the thickness that would be bad and said that the brakes had half that thickness. She put only 1500 kms since the 40 point inspection. So the 40 point inspection in December went from being good to completely bad in 1500kms? We just got lucky that her brakes didn't completely fail on the Whitemud. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Took my vehicle here to get my fluids changed last week. They completed a thorough inspection and notified me that some of the fluids I was requesting to be changed still appeared to be clean and wasn’t necessary. Although I requested them to change the fluids anyway it was reassuring to know that they are forthcoming and didn’t just go ahead with the work without saying anything. Having that level of integrity and transparency will keep me coming back. I was very satisfied with all the work that was completed. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Happy to know places like this still exist.

I had a Groupon for an oil change and 40 point inspection. I also had winter tires I wanted swapped but they wouldn't do it because they said the tires were bad. I waited 45 minutes for them to finish. I did not receive an inspection when I left and they said it would be texted to me. Later in the day no text so I called and asked where my inspection was she said they were busy and would send it. End of day and no inspection. If I don't have my inspection by tomorrow I will call and report this. You should follow up and complete with customers what they paid for no excuses

I have NEVER EVER been so impressed with any mechanic shop than I have with Guardian. From the first time I contacted them to my many subsequent visits (do to age of vehicle) Guardian has been honest, reliable, prompt and the Brian’s (there are two) are super friendly, informative and everyone goes above and beyond. When considering purchasing a new vehicle, I felt sad I wouldn’t see them for a while . Being a female, I have not once felt taken advantage of or duped in anyway as I have at other places. I came to Guardian Automotive for the oil change and tire change. The whole experience was great from the beginning..I decided to wait in the waiting room. You can have a light snack and coffee. I waited 1.5 half for everything to be completed. After that we went through some findings on my vehicle and suggested repair. I was not pushed into any decisions on spot or repairs schedule. I was very impressed by the professionalism and fair approach. Would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great mechanic shop and wonderful service.

This company is truly AMAZING! I take my two vehicles to them and have for some time. We had small mishap, which they handled incredibly well. I dealt with four different individuals, starting with the owner and others. The positive attitude from the owner has been adopted by all employees and it shows in their interactions with their customers. They really know and understand what customer service is about, they are honest, dependable and go above and beyond even when not expected. Truly an outstanding company! I highly recommend!

Adam and his team have been taking care of my vehicle since I purchased it second hand. He has gone out of his way to make sure I get only the service I need at the best price as well as showing me on my van the particulars. He has been very accommodating in my requests and the work done has been excellent. I haven’t felt pressured into anything and I’m confident in his team’s ability to ensure my vehicle is in good running form. Customer service has been great! I’m very happy to have them take care of my vehicles in the future.

Came here for an oil change and inspection as I had bought a groupon. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The waiting area was nice and free snacks were a bonus! Service was completed on time and they took the time to explain their findings to me and even prioritized what would be most important to fix first. All quotes were sent to me on the spot, no hidden charges. They also texted a few days later to follow up and make sure everything was ok with the car. I would definitely recommend them!

Would highly recommend to anyone and everyone. Called and told them about a horrible experience I had at another shop, who had cross threaded multiple tire studs and was quoting me way too much to fix them. They got me in same day, gave me an amazing price, fixed all of my issues and kept me informed about everything they did. Absolutely amazing mechanic shop to deal with ! Always honest, trustworthy, caring. They found my engine mounting bolts were loose from another mechanics mistake. They arrange Ubers to get me home when I don’t have someone to drive me. I almost always speak with the gentlemen who works up front, he’s always so nice and helpful ! My whole family comes here because a honest and reliable mechanic shop is hard to find. If I could give them ten stars I would.

The best shop I have used! Recently moved here from out of province and was worried about finding a mechanic for my new-to-me car, but booked in with Guardian and was blown away. Was recommended to go here by a few locals in Spruce Grove. Had a great experience. The staff were super knowledgeable and provided pictures of all issues they encountered. Loved the electronic quotes as well this way you know what is going on. The front desk staff I dealt with were so friendly. Highly recommend. Will be using them for all our vehicle services in the future.

Really nice people at reception and transparent with the work that they were doing. I was really scared because I don’t have good luck with automotive technicians due to my age and I’m a little asian lady. However guardian automotive had great costumer service and the technicians working on my car were really fast and my car was running smooth after their service :).

I was told this place was really good so I brought my car in and holy man this place is THAT good. They called me to update me about my car and let me know when they thought they would be done. They gave me a very thorough inspection list and let me choose which of the problems I wanted to get fixed with a price attached to each one. Very happy with my experience.

Hands down one of my most favorite garages to go to now! This place gave me the small town “ Actually care about you & your safety” not what they can get from your wallet! HIGHLY recommend place for ANY clink, clank, bird chirping, metal grinding sound, or just need an oil change GO TO! I had as much fun there as I do a good happy hour!

Had vehicle problems, diagnostic showed issues with the fuel pump. Back on the road and the cost & labor were affordable. An up to date system corresponding via email was on par. I came here because they were recommended. They are very nice and thorough. They told me it was a small issue that could be fixed easily and they didn't charge me. Unlike my experience with other famous ones that find several things wrong with your car and then charge you so much.
