If you are someone looking to have your labor and delivery care here, my most honest advice is to choose another facility. There is minimal professionalism, compassion, respect and care for the patient and even less for your supportive family. The ER is ran by rude security which is something I have never seen at a hospital facility before. Labor and delivery does not have a waiting room for your family or loved ones to wait and sit for the special arrival. “Waiting area” is the small lobby of the hospital where everyone comes in by. If your water breaks or your told to go to the hospital after visiting hours you go through emergency and you’re greeted by extremely rude security staff, and if a family member or members accompanies you they will probably allow you to wait about an hour before security rudely kicks you out and says you can wait outside the building, with zero information or update about your family and their reason for having you leave is because “that’s the way it is” and “other patients need the chairs” in an empty ER that 1 patient was there. Also keep in mind, if you have any children under the age of 18 that you would like to be a part of this special moment unfortunately they won’t be able to visit after mom is in her own private room because “he’s a minor” and the charge nurse is the one who calls the shots on who’s allowed to visit. Front unprofessional staff tell you to leave your child unattended in the same small makeshift “lobby waiting area” in the entrance of the hospital. One more warning, they will tell you the day they will discharge you and they will say in the morning, but be advised that you won’t be leaving until about 6pm or 7pm because you might be ready but the hospital takes hours just to deliver the discharge paperwork. I delivered one of my children at this facility 14 years ago, it’s sad to see that it has become such an unprofessional, in compassionate, inconsiderate, incompetent, unkept filthy medical facility. Hope this helps anyone that has their doubts or wonders the reality behind the things they don’t say when they market it to anyone.
First and foremost, I am EXTREMELY THANKFUL for the administration team: Karen, Ryan LeMasters, COO and David Donaldson, CEO of the hospital. I am thankful that they took the time to hear me out, and not only address the situation (with hospital staff) but actually found a solution for me. Thank you for accommodating my family. We are eternally grateful for your quick ownership and resolution to our problem. Upon arrival, I was impressed to see all the C-level executives addressing a situation I brought up to the hospital on the same day. I will definitely recommend and advocate for this hospital because they take matters seriously, it gets handled immediately by the leadership team DIRECTLY and they provide an adequate outcome. I had the honor to speak with Ryan over the phone and meet David in person. Thank you both for your time. We had a pleasant conversation. They are the epitome of leadership. Thank you once again Karen for being so efficient in relaying the message over to Ryan and he called me in under 10 minutes!! I was shocked! Thank you Ryan for your instant solution for me!! And thank you David for your approval! In regards to the care my grandma received my whole family is very content with the attentiveness and care received from the staff of the rehab (3rd floor). We are thankful for all the CNA’s, RN’s, PT’s, PTA’s and MD’s who took care of our grandma. This interdisciplinary team truly upholds Mercy hospital’s image and standards, supported us along the way and demonstrated professionalism and attentiveness when handling both my grandma and her visitors. Thank you to the administrative team at Mercy hospital for all your help. We will definitely be returning to continue her outpatient therapy services. THANK YOU!
Thank you Dr. Akl, Hugo A, Maria F., Millie, Alain, Steve and the rest of the team! I cannot express how grateful I am for the exceptional care my mom received at Mercy Hospital's Radiology Oncology department. From the moment I walked through their doors, I knew my mother was in good hands. The staff here are not only highly skilled professionals but also incredibly compassionate and caring individuals. They took the time to explain every step of my treatment, ensuring that I felt comfortable and well-informed throughout the entire process. Their dedication to patient care truly shines through in everything they do. The state-of-the-art equipment and technology in the Radiology Oncology department are impressive, reflecting Mercy Hospital's commitment to providing the best possible care. I always felt confident that my mother was receiving top-notch treatment. What sets this department apart, though, is the genuine kindness and empathy of the staff. This holistic approach made a world of difference on my mom's journey to recovery. I also want to commend the administrative team for their efficiency in scheduling appointments and handling paperwork. They made the logistics of treatment as smooth as possible. In a challenging and uncertain time in our lives, Mercy Hospital's Radiology Oncology department was a beacon of hope and support. I am so thankful for their dedication and expertise. I wholeheartedly recommend this department to anyone in need of top-tier oncology care. They are a true asset to the community and a shining example of excellence in healthcare. Thank you, Mercy Hospital Radiology Oncology department, for making a significant difference in my life. You have my deepest gratitude.
My 91 year old Father was transferred here for procedure that was not offered at another hospital. I am the eldest daughter. He and I are very very close. Yesterday was one of the worst days of my life. There are some compassionate people there; however even though my Father has been calling me and asked me to help him I could not get any information about his condition, nor his doctors name. ( yes, I know about Hippa rule I am in the wellness field for 30 years. A relative my nephew who has not spoken to me for 12 years and rarely visited), arrived and put his name down as advocate (Dad knew). My Father has NOT told them not to talk to me. When I called and asked to speak to him she had the phone and play acted that I was saying bad things about him ( yelling at me etc). She upset him so bad that he though I did something I did not. The operator SHAY said that Clare has no compassion and stated that she screamed at her to shut up. This woman is the devil incarnate. Clare screamed he does not want to talk to you. I could not get a supervisor, could not get a director, no one answers the phone. Shay the operator believes me as she was abused y her as well. Dad is so upset I cannot describe. SAD SAD SAD that the possibly short time my Father has of his life is dealing with this. I will take further steps. At this point the damage has been done and cannot be reversed.
I was a patient on the 6th floor, and I received exceptional care and authentic concern for my well-being. There are a few names I would like to mention that played a major role in my recovery. Silvia, the floor supervisor, introduced herself to me and visited with me everyday until I was discharged. Her smile, sweet spirit and genuine concern for my care meant the world to me. Dr. Hernandez showed excellent bedside manners, empathy and compassion for the issues I was dealing with. He really listened to my complaints and wanted to find the answer and or solution to my problem. Chris, Adalis, Javier, Yordanka, Cindy, Clervile, Alejandro, Magda, Juliana, Faika, Natasha(the nice young lady who kept my room clean), Evette (Student Nurse), Tiffany Mitchell(Case Manager), Elizabeth, Arletys, Edwing, and Cary Ann all played a vital role in my recovery. All aforementioned names provided me with exceptional care and truly love what they do. Hopefully, I will continue to feel well, but in the event I become ill again I would request to be placed on the 6th floor. In addition, I give a special thanks to Dr. Antunez and Yanet Laurencio for putting their heads together to come up with a medication regimen that gave me relief from the intense pain I was feeling.
My mother, Rosemarie W, had a scheduled surgery on December 4th at the HCA Florida Mercy Hospital. She had a good experience with the administration days prior to complete payments and administration paperwork. My mother had a great experience from the start to the end of the day. All the healthcare professionals involved in her care were professional, friendly and made her feel welcomed and respected. Apart from some discomfort and pain from getting a few extra pokes to find her vein for an IV (prior to calling the IV Team), there were no complaints. Her doctors were excellent and completed the surgery way ahead of time. They readily provided information to me about her condition while she was in the recovery room. My mother and I want to thank her great doctors, the anaesthesiologists (including Arielle), technicians (including Filipe), nurses aids, and the nurses (Recovery Room and Surgery ward, especially the Surgery Unit RNs, Yaikimy Acosta and Daneille Azan-Gayle, who went above and beyond during her overnight observation stay). The entire healthcare team was and care provided was exceptional. We appreciate all your help, God bless you all! Regards, Rosemarie W., Michelle W-T.
The medical staff was absolutely outstanding; the doctors, nurses, and other staff members performed an incredible job. However, my one-star review is solely dedicated to the abysmal performance of the payment department and its customer service staff, particularly the Spanish-speaking attendants. Words cannot adequately describe the level of incompetence and negligence they displayed. After dutifully settling my account with a one-time payment, as many other times in the past, I was shocked to receive a notification from a debt collector nearly a year later, claiming an unpaid balance equal to the discount amount I received because my full one time payment! Despite my efforts to resolve this outrageous misunderstanding, the so-called "professionals" in the payment department provided absolutely no assistance or avenues for rectifying the issue. It was a dreadful and infuriating experience, to say the least. The sheer incompetence and lack of accountability exhibited by the payment department and its customer service staff are truly beyond comprehension. This level of terrible service should not be tolerated in any professional setting.
Where to start? As I walked into the 3663 building a lady by the name “LILLIAN” tells me “Dígame!” which means “tell me” in English. I immediately stopped her and told her “first Good Morning”. After explaining the purpose of my visit (appointment with radiology) she prints a green identification label and provides instructions to registration and that’s it. LILLIAN noticed that after I asked her name and I wrote it down she started to act proper but it was too late because nobody deserves a “Dígame” as soon as you walk in. When walking to registration not a single person directs you to what’s next (I feel bad for the elderly patients that may experience what I did this morning). Dear Mercy Hospital you can do way better than this. Please start by replacing your front desk individuals with professional ones that are capable to greet people with respect. I think LILLIAN is not the appropriate individual as the first person that we have to see. LILLIAN requires more than training. Unfortunate experience as I walked in today.
I’m little disappointed of my last two visits to Mercy, I went with fever they did COVID, flu and urine test. Everything showed I was fine, but two days later I was worse but I went to and urgent care first, the told me I have a kidney infection and it was going to my blood stream but that they were not able to give treatment, so they suggested me to go to Hospital. I decide to go again to Mercy, they took a lot of blood test, urine, I was in so much pain that they have to put morphine. But at the end the doctor just said he doesn’t know what I have as the urine test was fine, only strange thing it was my white blood cells were low and he sent me to home with antibiotic, but he said he was not able to conclude why I had so much pain in my back and my leg. He didn’t told me anything about my white blood cells, I had so much fever, and now at home I still have fever and I’m shivering and in the paperwork they just put unknown cause …. Kind of irresponsible to send someone back to home when symptoms still there.
The nursing staff are okay . Not really that attentive . They don't really stop to listen or talk with me as a patient . I had to ask them a few times for the same things , like they forget and when you press the call button for the nurse they don't answer they just shut off the button so you're left wondering if they heard you . The worst part for me is the rooms are not that clean. The doors have like greasy finger and hand smudges all over them . The floors have dirt marks on them too . Like it made me feel if they really clean the room thoroughly at all . Like wipe off all switches and doorknobs that lots of different people touch in a week . Plus I went to look for a towel and the cart where they had towels and gowns and blankets was a mess , all messy , not all folded neat and orga neatly. It's just as a patient I feel like the room I'm in should be cleaned really well after another patient leaves and it totally is not clean . It's scary that they'd leave all those germs lying around in a hospital .
My dad had to go in for emergency heart issues and stayed overnight for recovery. The ER doc and nurses were excellent, but the facility and the rest of the staff was sub par. Very disorganized, the greeters and support staff were rude and unwelcoming. The surgeon and post op staff had deplorable bedside manner. Dad was in surgery during "dinner"time and when they allowed him to eat, there was nothing available so they brought a bagged sandwich that seemed old and stale. There was ZERO attentiveness in recovery, no bedside table to eat or drink, the next morning they forgot to offer him breakfast. They brought in breakfast at 11:45am and it was awful. I felt so bad for my dad and was glad that we had brought him some fresh fruit and had food ready for him at home. This hospital was worse than any hospital in a third world country. I was shocked and very disappointed that we had to have him there due to the emergency situation. Bring your own food and drinks if you have to hospitalize a loved one.
EVIL corporation. Terribly run. Only cares about money. A few years ago I went to this hospital in the middle of the night bc I had severe chest pains/arm numbness and had previously has a stroke due to a heart defect. The administration never properly recorded my address from my DL. I never received a single bill until debt collectors were calling me. I called countless times to update my address and it took me years to resolve the issues with creditors and fix my credit. Now I've used there services again and the EXACT same situation. They've still never corrected my address and refuse to help me with my bill even though I was laid off and don't have insurance. I know what Medicaid pays this hospital bc I work in the industry. they want to charge me 10X what they'd receive from Medicaid or managed care. I know many nurses that have worked for HCA and they all say the sam thing. HCA doesn't care about your health. They only care about money.
My mother had surgery here. DO NOT RECOMMEND, regardless of surgeons reputation. It’s impossible to get a nurse. They are either chatting at the nurses station or really under staffed, don’t know which is worse, but the point is that my mom waits at least 30 min for anyone to come to her room for any reason. (Some of the aids and nurses are very kind but their in a terribly set up system). If they actually do come in to check on her, the nurses and doctors don’t introduce themselves so she never knows who’s in and out of her room. They don’t call family or communicate unless you are in the room. Which means you can’t leave your loved one alone if you want to aid in their care. The worst of all is the in between shifts there can be 30-45 minutes between the old and new shift log ins, for your loved ones call button. So for 30-45 min theirs a total can be a total void of care and this happens 2x within 24 hrs (7:00 am and pm). Never again!!!
I recently had the experience of my grandmother being admitted to the 7th floor of the hospital, and I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional care she received during her stay. In particular, I’d like to commend Nurse Heidi for her dedication and compassion. Heidi went above and beyond to ensure my grandmother’s comfort and wellbeing. Her kindness, patience, and professionalism felt at ease during a challenging time. The entire team on the 7th floor deserves recognition for their commitment to patient care. The facility was clean, and the staff was attentive, which contributed to a positive experience during a difficult period. I’m grateful for the care provided at Mercy Hospital, and I highly recommend this hospital, especially the 7th floor, for their excellent service. Thank you for making a difference in our lives.
Mercy Hospital's staff was AMAZING! The nurses on 7C (I was in 7144 and 7111) were unquestionably phenomenal! Heidi, Andrew, Noemi, Julie, Marielis, Marlene, just to name a few...also all PCTs-especially Edgar, Gabriella and Huguette. The cleaning crew (forgive my not remembering her name-she had a beautiful braid of pink, black and light blue) The attending physician, case management, rehabilitation/physical therapists, the nutritionist; and I would be remiss not to mention the wonderfully compassionate and attentive ER staff! Also Frances in recovery! All of my beforehand fears, doubts and worries were truly calmed. I appreciate and highly recommend Mercy Hospital-it's truly indicative of people living up to the true meaning of humanistic care. Thank you, THANK YOU, from the bottom of my heart! Alma
Had our first born child here, and we were treated like family. Every single nurse was like an aunt who loved our child and wanted the best for him. They worked tirelessly for us and they helped us every single time we needed assistance. When we rang for the nurses to help they came within a few minutes or less, and you could feel their concern and attentiveness while answering any questions we had. I can't imagine what our first birth would have been like without the support system present at Mercy. Everyone was eager to show us what we needed to do in the future and we learned so much that we feel prepared to take care of him on our own afterwards! Thank you everyone at Mercy for going above and beyond for us, we feel so cared for we couldn't ask for anything more!
unfortunately our experience was very bad, the quality and service of the hospital has gone downhill in recent years. as soon as I was admitted I had to stay in a bed in the middle of the corridor for over an hour, I had to change and do tests in a very dirty bathroom in the hall, the clothes they gave me to wear were all torn and old. after my c-section I had to wait almost 10 hours for a room, when the room came up there was no nurse to attend to me. There was a moment during the night when I felt very sick and started vomiting in the bathroom, I rang the bell to call for help and no one came to help me. when they gave me medicine for pain, they didn't even bring water, I had to go to the lobby to get it. It was a very bad experience, I couldn't wait to go home.
valet will disappear at 7 pm so be careful not to be there a minute passed 7 pm, my aunt had to go on a long and dark scavenger hunt for her keys and car, other than that the nurses and staff were very nice, my mom’s surgery appt was at 8 am but wasn’t brought into surgery until 12:15 pm, we were overall very happy with the surgery and hospital, they allowed me to stay overnight with her in the room which had a beautiful ocean view but the bathroom smelled awful, the recovery room took about 2 hours to let me see her but I think it’s bc another patient had an emergency while in there, the hospital food was warm and fresh, FELTON and MARVIN were very sweet and patient with my elderly mom. Thank you so much for doing what you do and being amazing at it!
Horrible experience at this hospital. My best friend had a scheduled c-section for today at 7am. She was moved to her room at 12pm. I had to wait in the lobby until they assigned a room number to go see her. She called me saying that she was in the room and when I went to the front desk the lady told me that she was not in any room. I called my best friend again and she spoke to the nurse (I OVERHEARD HER ON THE PHONE) and the nurse said she was going to call downstairs so they could let me in. The nurse called and then the same front desk lady came to me saying that my friend wasn’t in any room and that I had to wait two more hours. THEY HAD ME BACK AND FORTH SINCE I ARRIVED AT THIS HOSPITAL AT 8AM. Very untrained staff. AVOID
This hospital are scammers. After I went there for the emergency (ER) they sent me the bill. When I called to set up small monthly bill payments they offered me 20% discount if I agree to pay the bill right away. I agreed, after which hey said I didn't owe them anything anymore. Half a year later I started receiving mail and calls from debt collectors. It turned out they sent those remaining 20% off the bill to debt collectors! They themselves offered me the discount and then sent it to the collectors! By the way, they don't have any online bill pay system and you cannot see your bills online. They only mail you paper bill like it's 1980s. They don't send you the receipt for your payment either. Horrible!
My most sincere thanks for the care and attention received at HCA Mercy Hospital. I thank the medical team that intervened in my surgery, from my registration with Ms. Julie and Ms.Yadira, Dr. Arango's Surgery Coordinator, Ms. Magui who gave me the instructions prior to surgery, Anita the nurse who prepared me before entering the room, the anesthesiologist Dr. Nicholas, until my convalescence with professional and kind staff as Silvia director of the 6th floor, the PCT Chantal, RN Mack, Celine, Valeria and Wendy, Nurse Leader Migdalia and special recognition to my doctors, Endocrinologist Dr. Hernan Baquerizo and Oncologist Surgeon Dr. Abelardo Arango. God bless you all with abundant wisdom and mercy.
The following Nurses were awesome!! They were all professional, knowledgeable, and made my recovery as pleasant as they could. I really thank and appreciate them all!! Nurse Heydi CNA Patricia Nurse Ivan Nurse Dunia Nurse Vladimir Nurse Drlene Dr. Lopez de Mendoza The star of the show was my Surgeon, Dr. Silverman. His reputation for being one of the best Surgeons around, is well deserved. After hip replacement surgery I was walking the same day, and just to test myself, and against Dr. Silvermans orders, I was able to walk unassisted the next day. My initial bone on bone pain is completely gone, and the only minor pain is from the healing process. I couldn't be more happy. Thank you all!
I am very disappointed with the lack of commitment that my wife is given here. As I am here now still waiting for my wife to get her surgery I’ve decided to write a review. I have ask my nurse, head nurse and doctor on duty for an exact time my wife is getting her surgery and no one wants to commute to an hour. My wife has not eaten or drank anything in the past 28 hours. I was told the night before that she was scheduled to have surgery at 1pm today and never came through. I have requested to talk to the surgeon that will be doing the surgery to my wife and I have not gotten the opportunity to speak to him. I am very much concerned about my wife condition.
This is for the biopsy department and other tests related to this. I don't know what happens if these departments don't have the necessary hygiene. I have had two family problems in this hospital. The first time my sister had paranoia and her esophagus was perforated, she also caught bacteria. In this procedure, she was serious without being able to eat, it was terrible. Now my brother had a biopsy of his prostate and they put bacteria in him that went into his blood, terrible. He has cancer, we had to postpone the surgery for this reason, how can this happen? I mention this for those people who are going to do these procedures. It is terrible.
I gave birth 11/3/22 and haven’t done a review! But I had Such an amazing experience giving birth here. I will never forget the super kind and wonderful nurses and staff in this hospital. Everyone was friendly. The hospital is very clean and I’m happy they allow visitors as well. This hospital gave me such a great and positive experience. Nurse Stephanie, Jessica, Ashley for labor and delivery were amazing! They supported me all the way. As a first time mom I was nervous and they really made me feel at peace. My postpartum nurse Maddy was also so wonderful! There were so many nurses that were great! I wish I remembered everyone’s name!
I worked on campus for 7 years in another building and my expectations were not high about giving birth at Mercy hospital at all. I was pleasantly surprised by the great service and experience they provided from beginning to end to my labor, delivery and postpartum care. We received an excellent patient care from every single person who serve us. My nurses showed so much care of how I was feeling and they made sure I felt comfortable at all times. You can’t imagine how they made my birthing experience unforgettable. The room was so peaceful, the attitude of the staff incredible. We genuinely felt like being taking care by family.
I am sorry to say that mercy hospital is not as good as some people say. My father was hospitalized for a month with covid-19, the nurses are lazy, they did not do their job correctly, the room was never cleaned, here I show photos of the dirt, they did not bathe it either. The nurse did not know what time my father died, they left him alone, they hardly entered the room. 3 days after his death, the floor manager called me to speak with my father. How is it possible that the floor manager does not know when a patient dies, do you know why? because they don't do their job. I do not recommend that hospital to anyone.
I was admitted to Mercy Hospital for 3 days. I must say the attention and care given was excellent. All the nurses and assistants were great must mention Elsa she was always checking o didn’t need anything and was very competent. My nurses were wonderful. Diana, Robert, Marie, Krystal were the best. Don’t want to have to be in the hospital again but I would not hesitate coming back here. The Drs were also great. I might have forgotten to mention some names but all my care takers deserve mention. One not too good thing was the food but again this is a hospital not a restaurant. Thank you again for my care.
The service of HCA Mercy Hospital. The staff were memorable, very attentive, and excellent service all around. I would like to take thank all my nurses Nurse Alex, Nurse Israel, Nurse Marian, and Nurse Noemi. I would like to thank Mr. Febreeze and others for checking on my vitals and bringing me anything I needed. Also, Ms. Huguette who helped me and my grandmother with the discharge process. Also a young lady you took out my needle carefully. I would like to thank the whole staff for making my stay full of comfort and compassion. Thank you again. This hospital is a 12/10.
After a painful spinal injury, stay at MERCY for 9 days. The whole staff of 6C were wonderful to me, not only took care of my pain, but of my state of mind. Ivan Rodriguez was my nurse on 4C. I can only say the most pleasant things about him. Extremely caring, friendly, informative, and takes his time to not only get to know each of his patients, but also communicate exactly what he is doing and when he will be back to check in you. This was my first hospitalization personally, and as a current third year medical student it was hard to be “on the other side”. Very blessed for my care here at Mercy. Thank you specifically to Ivan and the remaining teams of nurses and doctors.
I would like to give a huge shoutout to the doctors, nurses and staff at this hospital my dad was admitted on Tuesday and his heart stopped and the doctors and nurses revived him back. Not only that the amount of care they were to him in the cardiac ICU is beyond phenomenal my dad is still here at the hospital but it has been so much great care and he’s recovering so much better. Thank you mercy for being so great with our family as well. Shoutout to emergency and icu.
Ultrasound specialist Maicol or Michael I hope I spell it right was so nice to us from beginning. Straight to the point, good communication, good vibe, good service. Is all I ask and is what I am receiving from every mercy hospital employee. That’s why my review goes 5 stars. No complain. Also want to mention my wife and her sister had horrible experience at Borinquén Hospital. This is not a joke is your health so make sure you choose the right one. Happy new year.!
I Love this Hospital! I was in 4133 and every single person was lovely . Thanks to Sandra , Amada ,jessica who were my nurses i had an incredible stay they were attentive and kind they made me laugh and made me feel extremely comfortable my physical therapist were jose and kevin they were also extremely kind and gentle these people made sure this was my best hospital visit in my 51 years of living (i had a hip replacement)
I was treated with prefect care I have no complaints. I went in with an injury to the ER, instantly they did an x-ray and the doctors were there to attend to me. I had to be admitted because I needed surgery, the attending nurses and doctors were the best of extra care again no complaints. If you have an emergency I recommend Mercy Hospital. Thanks to the staff at Mercy for helping me out!!
Great nurses, especially Ganine in post partum and Tina in the ER. Delicious food, the congratulations meal was delicious! I had filet mignon with perfectly cooked asparagus, roasted potatoes, salad, and a slice of cheesecake! No alcohol, but they still gave us some bubbly with some delicious sparkling cider Great doctors, I did not think the procedure was going to be over in ten minutes.
My mother was a patient here in 5 Caroll and Bayview Rehab. I am so happy with the service we received while she was recovering. Everyone has been marvelous and attentive to her needs. I want to thank all of the nurses, Rehab team- Betty and Cheryl for assisting my mother in gaining her independence. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone and everyone. Thank you for all you do.
Facility was a pleasure to visit, clean, professional staff at all times, I was there for 2 months and never had a complaint, once being released the entire staff met with me one on one to give me well wishes and if there was anything I needed before leaving, that was very comforting, and to mention a special thank you to Barbie, Marcus and Anita, thank you team for a wonderful stay.
From the moment i entered the ER it was the best experience and mind you i was in excruciating pain, nurse was one of the best nurses i have ever come across, i asked her how come you are so fast and officiant? She said well it is emergency room we have to be! Dr Kelly Wright was also second to none! Incredible! I was in and out in 2 hrs! With no pains or discomfort.
This hospital is so ugly. It’s like walking through a deserted town. $5 parking fee. Ridiculous. You got lizards running around the whole place, coffee spillage on the floor. Not to mention the handicap ramps are zig zags? Who thought of that design? You could’ve made an easily accessible handicap ramp that goes IN A STRAIGHT LINE but chose a zig zag design? Awful.
I just had a surgery in Mercy Hospital and went to the 7 floor for observation, I can tell I didn’t want to leave best experience ever; everyone there was really amazing all the nurses in that floor (7) were fabulous Heidi took care of me like a personal friend and Christna, Jaquie and Noemi, they were like a super Ángels to me… I will miss them all
Absolutely amazing experience in the ER. The staff and doctors are knowledgeable, friendly and caring. I highly recommend coming here. I've been in and out of hospitals and emergency rooms for the past two months, so I know my hospitals. This hospital is comparable to Ciders Sinai in LA with the quality of care.
We had a great experience delivering our daughter at Mercy Hospital. The nurses and staff were fantastic and made our delivery stress free. We knew we were in safe hands. I would highly recommend bringing your own pillows and every day luxuries to make your room feel like home, but that is to be expected.
Recently completed physiotherapy at the Kohly Center for outpatient Rehab located on the campus of HCA FL Mercy Hospital. They were very accommodating with my busy work schedule. The therapy program was great and so was the therapist Mikalya. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend them.
I needed a document to turn into my insurance company after having given birth at Mercy last year. I went to the hospital to try to get it and was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I met with Tomas Campuzano, the patient access manager and he helped me immediately and efficiently. Thank you so much!
From start to finish I would rate everything 10 stars if I could. The check-in was extremely expeditious. The staff was cordial and helpful. The surgical staff and post surgery team could not have been any nicer and welcoming. I have nothing but great things to say and had a wonderful experience!

Don’t let them fly you out for a job interview. They’ll stick you with the bill for the hotel if you don’t take the job. Thieves. Response to your reply. -You don’t even deny it! You literally stole from us. I hope you don’t treat your patients like you treat prospective employees.
Got in fast. Had blood drawn within 20 min. And CT scan within 45 min or so. The nurses gave me excellent care and had great bed side manners. Dr. Salina was excellent. He explained all and was very compassionate and great bed side manners...they staff was excellent..no complains.
Stopping everyone at the door makes it seem a little like prison. The administrative and healthcare professionals are very kind and helpful. It was an overall positive experience but it could take a few pointers from it's sister location HCA Kendall.
The best hospital in the whole world . I am a Registered Nurse ⚕️ with 25 yrs of experience. Never seen this type of care anywhere in USA before. Got recently admitted into this facility after my children googled best Miami hospital, we
Excellent experience! Thanks to all the staff that was involved on my Care… Doctors, nurses, assistants, everyone had a great attitude, everyone a professional in its own right.. special thanks to Gilda and Andrew.. keep up the good work Team!
It's disappointing and disgusting to get health care services in a building with the external areas (walls and windows) with mold. This happened in Bayside Pavilion ambulatory center. It's an expensive place like to see mold in visible areas.
I stayed at the Mercy Hospital due to my boyfriend’s surgery. Arays Padron & Danielle Azan-Gayle two of the nurses there, them both made us feel somehow very special by providing us not only with their job duties as nursing but also treated
I like to give a good recommendation and review for his good patience, service, treatments and humanity for his patiences at Mr. Santiago (RN) who give his service at 7 Caroll at the Mercy Hospital. My name is Maria at room 7135. Thank you.

I recently receive care at Mercy Hospital, and I cannot express enough how impressed I was with the level of service and attention provided by the entire staff. I am compelled to share my gratitude for all the exceptional service provided,
My first nurse in preop gave me a thank you card and signed it. I have enjoyed getting all the Mercy Hospital team players to also sign the card and I’m at 12 names so far in one a day. Your relationship with the patient has been the best.
Terrible experience, staff was so rude and unfortunately had to stay for over a week. One of the doctors told me to google my condition and continuously argued with me like some of the other staff. Sent me home when I was better but in no
Talk about making what should be an exciting experience the most terrible thing was this hospital rules. 1 they don't allowed family in the room but the worthing is that they don't have a waitting room for the family and at 8pm they will
I have been a patient at the Kohly Center Rehabilitation Center for several years, on and off, for various physical issues. All of the staff and leadership have been exceptional. From their hands-on guidance to regular caring service, I
My experience at the Kohly Center for rehab after my hip surgery has been great. The staff is friendly and very professional. Ten years ago I also went there for rehab after suffering two strokes and they were great at that time, too.
I was a patient of Doctor Allen Machado, a human, intelligent doctor, he explained everything about my diagnosis, I felt very comfortable, the first time in many years that I saw a doctor with so many good qualities, God bless him.
Got my first surgery there. Everyone was nice and friendly. I really felt cared for there. They removed my appendix and I’m back 100%! Would do it again, but I don’t have a second appendix! :D Thank you to all the staff!
My mom had a surgery there and we are really happy with how she was treated. She felt taken care of. Everyone was lovely and made her experience really good. Thank you Mercy for supporting people in their worst moments.
The care is super good, the nurses as well as the nurses are super friendly and attentive, the doctors are super calm and attentive, it is a 10/10 service I'm on the seventh floor and everyone is a good person.

I had my in Mercy Hospital. Firstable I want to thank Dr. Miguel Albert for his professionalism and care. Thank you to all nurses and nurses assistants, Lisa, Marie, Desiree, everyone
Wait time is a bit too much just waiting in your room. The staff don't look like they don't want to be there. My nurse Michelle was super nice though. And doctor Johnson helpful.
Nurses and CNP staff has been great on the 7th floor. Professional and great attitude! Always at service when needed. Thank you everyone, I will keep in my heart …
Thank you to Brittney Fisher for taking such awesome care of my daughter. The quality care and timely follow through made us feel comfortable while far away from home.
Labor and delivery team: thanks for everything you all do. I had my two boys there. Last one on 11/27. Special thanks to Karima and Tylor. Both exceptional nurses.
