The Manitoban medical system is just useless. Your time has no value even if you come by appointment. What is the point of booking an appointment if you are not going to be looked after. Appointment at 3:30 PM, and you get initial assessment for 10 minutes, and then you dont get looked after for 72 minutes. Who gives the right to the doctors to make us wait??? It's all about their time and how much money they make. Our time and money doesn't matter. We complained the first time, and the next time they told us to book the last appointment. So we have been booking the last appointment of the day and still waiting in the assessment room. It is such an easy thing to do to overbook people and make them sit in the rooms thinking what we pay taxes for. Oh, by the way, our appointment lasted for just 6 minutes. This is a prime example of a Third World Country system.

I had a total abdominal hysterectomy last week. Between all the staff - from the docs to the nurses to health care aids to housekeeping folks and all the support people behind the scenes - and the wonderful new facility itself - WOW - no expense spared!! Five star - everything and everybody just first rate!!!! And then there's the food!!!! OMG - it is just atrocious!! I don't know how people are expected to get well when subjected to that!!! You're already not feeling well and then you're expected to get your appetite back and normal bodily functions before they'll release you!! Thank God for Jello!! Please do something - it makes absolutely NO sense!!!! At 61 and a life long Manitoba tax payer, I am offended and insulted that is the best they can offer!!! Big hugs to all the wonderful folks there!! ♥️♥️

Very impressed with the staff on the labor & delivery floor. They took all the necessary steps to ensure my wife is feeling comfortable. Every single staff member that we dealt with went above & beyond, they were very supportive, caring & helpful. Gabby, Anna and Prabhjot were our nurse and they made us feel so comfortable and took care of her for the whole duration. Even though they are short staffed and might took a long time for them to take you upstairs from triage to the third floor depending upon how busy it is. But once the take you upstairs it’s amazing on how they care and treat you. Thank you staff keep up the great work

I was very impressed with the amazing staff on the labor & delivery floor & the after care on the 4th floor! Every single staff member that we dealt with went above & beyond,they were very supportive, caring & helpful. Gabby was my daughter's nurse for 2 days & she was like having a friend that was caring for you as she was amazing & made us feel so comforting & we had some great laughs & we will never forget her! We told her when my daughter comes back for baby number 2 she better be working! Bravo HSC women's

My experience wasn’t that good during my childbirth in may 2023. No one guide me how to push. I had epidural so couldn’t feel contractions and when to push, no one even told me when to push. I end up with episiotomy and 3rd degree tear. My husband went to get food-I was alone with baby, couldn’t get up from bed bcz of catheter and swelling- my baby was continuously crying for 30 minutes and rang bell but no one came for help. Will not go there again. Very

I cannot say enough good things about HSC women’s hospital through my labour experience. The rooms were great, the staff was kind, willing to go the extra step to explain everything, work in partnership with my midwife and the healthcare was top notch. This is truly a wonderful gift to the city to have a facility like this available to families. Thank you HSC!

The new Women’s Hospital is beautiful. Bright, spacious, clean, with lots of comfortable seating and many windows. Bathrooms are large and private. Everything was easy to find. Dr. Yu is incredible! HIGHly recommend her if you are in need of an OBGYN. The woman working in the lab was so friendly and kind. I wish I could go here for all my blood work.

The staff are excellent and friendly and give all the knowledge you need. My experience delivering was a ease. But I would suggest for future patients and visitors that patient name tag should be posted on the doors to help visitors get to the right rooms. As I can be confusing for some people.

Just had our 2nd baby here... what an outstanding facility! The staff are amazing, every single one is caring and kind. I also actually like the food too. Highly recommend for birth experience. Thank you HSC Women's ❤️

Awesome experience. They took extreme care of my baby. The doctors and nurses are highly professional and skilled. The hospital premises are neat and clean. Highly recommended
