ZERO Stars here. Folks, stay clearer of this one! I won all my motions with her and I'm still saying this....Because of the cash she stole from me. Haber is a con artist. I feel compelled to come here every few years to write a review so mine are fresh again to warn others. Catherine is not someone you can trust. She is all about CASH. Make no mistake about it. I used her for my divorce 10 years ago and she did nothing but bleed my cash. I won my motions too, but she would always tell me..."let the payments owed by your ex from the judge flow back to my firm otherwise, you may never get" She was so full of it...she wanted that cash in her firm for future fees. My sister has since become a lawyer and she has explained this to me. So just be careful. Instead be smart and dont even call this witch. She plays with your emotions and I was easy prey because I was in a custody battle. Near the end I had to fire her and go to a new lawyer with actual morals who was also disgusted at how she operates. He could not believe what she took from me and he had over 30 yrs experience at the time I hired him.. He was able to wrap my case up in 2 weeks, whereas Haber dragged on for almost two years! He told me her rep was terrible even among the judges. There has been many complaints against her as well with the Upper Law Society of Canada. When I fired her, she "miraculously" had a last bill to settle. When I went through it, she had over charged. Just a horrible human being who cares only about how much money you have and how much she can get. This woman is going straight to hell when her time us up...Do not use Catherine. Please. Save your family money. I cannot stress this enough.

BEWARE OF THIS LAWYER, CATHERINE HABER. SHE HAS NO MORALS. I am a small business owner who did some work for Catherine Haber in December 2022. When we sent the quote there was an accounting system glitch,. She was given the proper breakdown but it totalled up incorrectly. We told her, and explained the mistake in detail. We have repeatedly contacted her, and she has ignored us and refuses to pay the outstanding balance of just over $600. It may not be a lot of money for her, as she charges that per hour, but we are a small family run catering company that struggled through COVID. We have been in business for 30 years and I can honestly say that this is only the second time in our 30 years that we have not been fully paid by a client. We work hard to deliver a great product for great value and have many repeat clientele including some of the largest Law firms in Canada. If this is how she treats people then be careful. Just look at some of her other reviews on this page. I am disgusted with her. Her office threatened to call the police on me as I told them I am coming to her home where the event took place, or to her office to collect the money that she owes me !!!! How dare I do that! Didn't even get past the initial request. They wanted to charge close to $600 just for a consultation ($495 + HST). Here's my response: I contacted your firm because I used to hear your commercials on the Christian radio station. I am no fool and I cannot in all good conscience pay an absorbent amount of money to someone unknown just for a consultation. Especially as many high quality law firms will give a short consultation for free. Furthermore, upon researching reviews of your firm and Catherine in particular, many former clients claim expensive and unscrupulous practices so I hereby withdraw my request for help. God will lead me to the right person/firm to help me. And those who take advantage of His people, especially of His people in need, will answer to Him. Have a nice day

My husband and I made the mistake of using Catherine unfortunately. $15,000 later, we received little to no counsel and did the negotiating for ourselves. Catherine did everything in her power to drag any process out, and made it extremely difficult to get any legal direction. We were forwarded emails and charged $165 each time Catherine's team hit "forward". Catherine forgot my husband's name on several occasions, and used our time (for which we had to pay $600/hr for) to update herself on the case by reviewing the files. Absolutely terrible customer service and a total lack of regard for our interests.

Catherine and her firm far exceeded my expectations. From day one Catherine was honest and forthright about what to expect and at no time gave any false hope. She was professional, knowledgeable and extremely organized throughout the entire process. If you are looking for someone to put as much effort into fighting for your family as you are, then Catherine is your best choice! I highly recommend this firm for anything relating to Family Law. Catherine knows her stuff and isn’t afraid to go into battle!

I had a consulatation with Catherine when going through divorce. I decided to go another route as the fees were less and quickly found myself (and my lawyer) backed into a corner. I reached out to Catherine and she was able to completely turn my horrible predicament around in a timely manner. She is tough, but extremely effective. I recommend Catherine Haber regularly and I am extremely grateful for all she, and Kelly, did for me.

Catherine is an experienced family lawyer.She will work hard to get you what you deserve. I would never have been able to do this without her as I had a real bully of an ex - Catherine will not be bullied. She can be a bit expensive but if you explain your situation to her she will advise you on how to keep your costs down. Trust her to do the job you hired her to do and you will save lots of money and time.

Catherine and her team are the ones you should trust when it comes to handling issues in regards to family law. I tried going to other lawyers to get their advice and they were either very unresponsive or seemed more interested in making money off me. I get that it’s a business but Catherine made a point to make me feel seen and heard.
