My Auntie has been wanting to buy my Uncle a tailored suit for a very long time and since they live in the Scottish Highlands the options of retail outlets for such a thing are in very short supply. So! On their latest trip to London we visited a few suit outlets to find exactly what Uncle Scott wanted. As we entered a few stores we could not find what he was after and none of them had any customisation options. After 3 visits to different shops we found Hackett and we found Mo. From outside we saw the window in the store and this invited us in and Mo approached us. He was so welcoming, so polite, funny and knew exactly what we were after. We asked for a linen suit and our experience kept improving as we were taken upstairs to a special room, he treated us all with respect and gave my Uncle a series of options in order to make the perfect suit for him. UPDATE: My Auntie and Uncle arranged to return to London 6 weeks after the initial trip to Hackett where the finished product was revealed to us in the very same room! Mo saw the suit before my Uncle and let him know by text that it was “Amazing”. He was not wrong! The suit fitted to perfection! The quality and personalisation of the product was second to none. Mo came in on his day off to give this to us which was exceptional. His hospitality was amazing and the sweet treats provided were delicious! His relaxed manner put us at ease. We would recommend Hackett and Mo to anyone. After a quarter of a century Uncle Scott now has the suit of his dreams.

A regular shopper with Hackett but today’s experience was absolutely dismal. They sell a one size belt which is meant to be cut at home to the right size. Pretty standard and I have similar belts from Ferragamo etc. However Hackett’s belt doesn’t really fit properly after being cut back into the belt clip. I took it back to the shop to ask them to help me with it. The manager was unwilling to help cut the belt and recommended to go to Timpsons, except that Timpsons don’t offer belt trimming services (I had already asked a few different branches). Also the manager recommended to punch extra holes rather than cutting the belt. Surely one can’t punch holes into a 40 inch (one size) belt to make it fit a size 34 inch waist. The adjustment has to be done by cutting the belt. A faulty product followed by poor customer service, while trying to be annoyingly smooth. Not impressed and I will be taking my business to other brands that offer better customer service, when charging a premium price.

*resubmission since my original review is gone* We went in there and were never greeted, no attempt was made to even ask if we needed help finding anything even though there were many employees on the floor. It felt like they were judging us just because we looked younger and were speaking a different language. I've been to several Hacketts both in Mexico and the US and I've never received this sort of treatment. I was severely disappointed that such a familiar brand to me would treat their guests this way, especially in such a touristy location. I ended up still wanting to buy something and the cashier seemed confused that we wanted to checkout, he told us to go upstairs cause he was busy and then took the item from us, ended up ringing us up quickly. Will not be returning, I hope you guys can work on your customer service to provide a better experience for people who are paying for your products.

Wedding suit experience: I can't tell you how impressed I was with Hackett King Street. Perry in the tailoring department is one of the most helpful people I have ever dealt with. With it being my wedding suit I was after the full experience from start to finish and I definitely got it. I was looked after from the moment I walked in the store to when I left today with my amazing made to measure suit. Perry's knowledge and advice was invaluable when designing my suit. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he was always keeping me updated on timescales. I will definitely keep Perry & Hackett in mind for my work suits in the future. Such a friendly store. Couldn't recommend more. Thanks to all at Hackett King Street.

I needed a suit for my wedding as my original suit supplier was unfortunately not able to get it to me and notified me too late so I resorted to Hacketts as a last ditch effort. Safe to say that it was the right choice as they saved me from experiencing a wardrobe malfunction on the most important day of my life! I was assisted by a young lady called Claire who was extremely knowledgeable, professional and helpful- she even managed to get me a tailored suit in time even though I gave her such short notice. Will continue to do business here and I am thoroughly impressed by Hacketts recruitment and training process if everybody else is like Claire!

The service here with Grant was exceptional, it felt like a very personal touch with the shopping experience and encouraged me to return and purchase more items from the store. Hackett I think is definitely a classic gents 'affordable luxury' store. The prices are not the most extreme you can find out there, but they're still up there. However that being said the presentation of the store and the service you receive is exceptional and really makes it stand out as less of a brand and more of a place to return to enjoy the shopping experience.

Came in here by chance and can honestly say the guy who served me Johnny E brought old fashioned service back to the forefront of shopping. Personable, fun and just the right amount of interaction to bring me to buying a jacket. I haven't looked in Hacketts for many years but when I next do it will be definitely there. Big thanks to all for their hospitality and friendliness there. If Carlsberg did menswear shops.........

A terrible experience here earlier this year. I needed a new suit for work and so asked to try on suits in their summer sale. Somehow, I ended up trying on suits that were not in the sale being told that they were. I bought a suit at full price and only realized my mistake after checking online. Terrible that this happened after I had been so clear in my intention to only try on suits on sale... Sleazy salesmanship.

Went for a shave and facial , excellent service from David ,he asked if he could tidy up my hair as he had noticed a few stray hairs ,also tidied up my neck and side boards before starting my treatment.The shave and facial were excellent and I felt very relaxed throughout,.I've had a few wet towels shaves before but this was easily the best .

Oscar was unbelievable. The experience from the second we walked through the door untill walking out was faultless! I would urge anyone looking for a suit for any occasion to visit Hackett Covent Garden. By far the best retail experience I have ever received.

We would like to share the amazing service and attitude my family and I received at Hackett - Chris assisted us perfectly including arranging an expedited delivery for the next day of a bigger size on a jacket. We will be coming back for sure!

Last min suit needed I was in Covent Garden and popped in a guy called mo helped me and treated me like I was a king. His knowledge was great he virtually picked the right size straight off the rail. A great credit to your selfs.

The personal tailoring department on the top floor is incredible! They have every fabric imaginable and offer really good advice to ensure a sharp look. The prices are good too.

If Budweiser did customer service…two chaps this morning I was in a rush I needed a blazer ended up buying a scarf I was in an out in 10 mins. Take heart other retailers
