I used to come here but not anymore after my last experience. I had made an appointment a week in advance with Joy and on the day of the appointment I called letting them know I'm on my way. When I arrived she said she couldn't take me in because she was too busy. Well, why wasn't I told on the phone or why couldn't they cancel it sooner before I came all the way here? Her slot was completely free when I had made the appointment. Anyways, I had been wanting to dye my hair for ages, she said a different stylist can see me I think his name was Walter (I'm not sure) well to describe who it was, it was a man with platinum hair, I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he said it has to be his way or no way. That was rude to say and I'm not gonna pay for a hair that I don't want. He must not know how to do it so he wants to give me his own style that he's able to do instead because I had a hair consultation at Hair Healers and they did a test strand on my hair and they said they can do it but because my work schedule conflicted with the availability of my stylist I couldn't make a follow up appointment at Hair Healers. That is why I had decided to come to Hair Cuttery instead, since they were "available" on my day off. I only get 1 day off a week. Unfortunately, it was a waste of my time the person I trust with my haircuts was not available for the appointment and instead I was handed to this man that I don't trust who was very rude "his way or no way." I got up said thanks and left. I didnt argue. I didnt tell him I knew it can be done. If I hadn't had a consultation prior to this, I would have believed him since he is a stylist, but since I do have the knowledge that it is possible he just simply doesn't know how to. I get the feeling the salon hires people that are not professionals and simply hires people with licenses. From my appointment not being honored, to the wait time, to the rudeness, my experience was terrible. I do not recommend. What they could have done better is cancel and ask to reschedule before the appointment. Hire and train staff to treat customers with respect.

I went this morning to this location very determined in to have a cut that was similar to the ones on the first two pictures. Next pictures show what they are able to do. This guy was so friendly and give me confidence that he knew what he was doing until he stared to styling my hair, I was wait a minute, Are you done? He was like yea! I said no you know I thing I didn’t explained my self. I show him once more the po Tuaregs I also draw a little sketch on a paper. But he just literally handled me to the other person in the salon. And told her that she may finish because he WAS NOT ABLE TO DO IT! really. So I was there sitting on that chair my nerves were going crazy graying to keep myself together listening what she was saying to me: “that she understand what I want but she wasn’t in the capacity to do it. And that what I wanted was a perfect style that Tracy or Stacy or who in a held knows will be the good one to do it! I open my eyes I was crying already felling horrible, ridiculous, and very very frustrated that a leave that place. I called corporate which tools a good 15 min to answer, they took a report and gave me a number so I can be fixed some other location. They are very naive if they believe I going to set feet on their locations any other time in my live. It has been three hours and I still waiting for a call that is going to fix this big mess! I don’t think this people even have a license that I’m going to report on the DBPR. They are running this place as a candy store! So you goes to this place and you have to have the hair cut that the person on floor is able to do? So you go on Monday for a freaking uneven cut, Wednesday for a bob, Friday for a Chanel, and Saturday and Sunday for a bold cut This is so wrong. I came home and I tried to blow dry and stylish last picture.

It was quite an experience. I went with expectations that definitely were not met. Just wanted my split ends cut and a blower done, but instead I left feeling like if I went to the pet grooming store. The guy was definitely having a bad day: coloring one's hair, cutting another's and taking care of a lady that walked in to buy a hair's product. Meanwhile, I was sitting and waiting for my turn (supposed to start at five). One left the chair really mad without a haircut (claimed that he's appointment was at 4pm), the other left kind of upset bc apparently he spent a lot of time there and me...left with the WORST impression of customer service. The guy basically didn't say no to any appointments. He was just calculating the time to finish the day, help with the cleaning and go. I also left with a terrible haircut and soaking wet hair (and shirt). Won't be stepping foot at this location ever again. I've been in others and the service was great.

Good place for haircuts and styling but DO NOT go to do your eyebrows there. I got my eyebrows done and they were really skinny, half of my eyebrows vanished. I accepted the fate of my eyebrows, I’m not the type to show reaction or care much about a dis satisfied service but this was my WORST service ever, I cried after I left. What made me write this review was how my skin is currently ripped/burnt off as well, they are currently healing but super painful. I have been filling them out with brow tint, if you notice it’s remotely shaped because I HAVE been doing so. My eyebrows were thick and unshaped before , but now they are barely there and still unshaped.. I don’t recommend doing eyebrows there at all, please save yourself and don’t make the same mistake I did. I got what I paid for, which was 13 dollars unfortunately. I would love if someone from this company can reach out to me to at least accommodate me.

The “manager”? Lol Where is the zero star option please? I need it for this review. her professionalism isn’t dismal. She has no professionalism at all. Her attitude is a 0 out of 10. I made an appointment for 12. I arrive at 11:48. she takes it upon herself to change my appointment time to 11:25 and then telling me it’s when she says 11:25 also have the nerve to accuse me of being late and now I’d have to wait an hour? No. It is incredible to me that she cannot cut hair and be paid to manage a barbershop. she said “I cannot cut your hair”. Because I don’t know how. Lmao What is she doing working in Barbershop with out any skills? Terrible experience I would not refer anyone to go to that sight. Sincerely Doarman Martinez US Airforce veteran. If you could reimburse me my time I’ll take this comment down and not let your employees embarrass your company. But everything I just wrote is true.

I *had* beautiful long hair. I needed a quick haircut and that was it. Just a trim. One side is longer than the other, every layer is a different length than the layers on the other side of my head. I had maybe 2 layers when I arrived and left with probably 10. My hair looks chopped. I have worn my hair in a pony-tail ever since I left and got to my car. My pony tail is thicker is some parts and then so incredibly thing the last few inches from the many layers that have been randomly added. The guy cutting my hair seemed nervous the entire time, very delicate and just like he was kind of new at cutting hair. He was very nice and chatty, but I will definitely not be going back here. Will be wearing hair in a bun or pony tail for the next few months

I should have listened to the other reviews. I had an appointment with Joy. When I arrived, I was told that Joy wasn’t in and Marta offered to cut my hair instead. Why wouldn’t they call me to let me know Joy hadn’t come to work and offer to reschedule before I went all the way there? When I asked if she knew how to do a pixie cut she said yes. Sadly she doesn’t. I even showed her a picture of what I’ve had in the past both in front and back. Instead of a feminine pixie, I got an 70’s style boy cut. It literally looks like Shirley’s hair from the sitcom Lavern and Shirley. I’m devastated and now will try to find someone today who can fix it.

Upsetting. I visited this location today since it was recommended from a friend. I was very disappointed. Walter did a poor job on my blow dry. For starters; no Good hair wash which is a key for a good and shine blow out. Then terrible blow dry. My hair is a nice hair cut and easy but also requires a good profesional to Make the hair looks nice! The ending was bad. My hair looks dry and dull. I came home to wash some areas and blow dry myself. It was also expensive and I left a tip. Walter did not show any emotion or concern if I was happy. Sorry, I will never Come back again. It will be great some kind of compensation. Thanks.

I would not recommend this location. There currently is no management and there are nothing but untrained professionals here. Booked an appointment, showed up on time for my stylist to claim not to know how to do a simple wash blow dry. Literally the most basic service to get. Instead of any other stylist stepping in to offer assistance they just all sat there or walked to the back.

Don’t risk it. Asked for a specific A-line haircut and was excited in hopes of quality service. Did not receive even close to what I asked and was almost in tears when I left. No way was I going to risk having the color done after the poor service and cut I received. Now I have to go pay someone else to fix this mess. So disappointed and regret my choice to come here!

Tonia was fantastic! She made feel welcome right from the moment I walked through the door. She is soft spoken and at the same time she speaks with confidence. It was my first time getting a haircut with her and I felt like I could trust her from the get go. I got a great haircut and a great experience. Tonia is an example of what superior customer service means.

Jorge decided my cut was done. Unbelievable. He cut the lower half good (the machine did that tbh), but I asked him to not touch the top. Guess what? He started to cut the top with the scissors for lowering volume. I asked him to stop. Then he touched a bit and said it was done. I had to finish the cut myself at home. 30 bucks half *** cut. NEVER AGAIN.

Great location and good service! If you want to be seen right away during the weekends then you should make an appointment. Some of the stylists are rude so I recommend Mitch and Jeremy. It is busy during the weekends so you must be patient and wait your turn. I've gone to other Hair Cuttery locations and this one is by far the best.

5 stars for Jeremy. I have tried other stylists at this location and they all do not listen to what I request. “I would like it longer on top” and proceeded to cut inches off the top and respond with, “it will grow back”. Horrible customer service except for Jeremy - he’s the best! But don’t book him or else I won’t be able to.

The prices are decent being downtown but the quality of haircut was quite poor. I had mentioned for zero fade and showed a precise picture. Despite that, the hair dressing was not able to deliver what was asked. No point in displaying a service you cannot offer.

Great service, attentive and experienced. Hubert is amazing with color, highlights are complicated for me since I have very fine hair and he is an expert. I highly recommend Hubert, he has excellent skills. The other stylists also seem nice and professional.

This place accepted me as a walk in. They were super quick, efficient, and they did exactly what I asked for. The haircut was great, but the service was truly top notch. Everyone working there was nice and welcoming. Great place to get your haircut.

Unfortunately Joy wasn’t there because she was in the hospital after an accident. Another woman colored & cut my hair. She did exactly what I asked her, she was great! Raul provided good laughs with his witty remarks. A fun time, plus good hair!!!

I'll tell you right up front- go to a smaller, more personal barber/salon where they actually value their customers. Don't go to a "McBarbershop/Salon" like this. High turnover rate of eployees, so it's hard to know what to expect each time

Just got my haircut there, and they (Hubert) completely botched my hair. My hair is uneven, and I now have a large absent space between my hair and ears. Should’ve been turned away when I saw no one there. Would not recommend coming here.

Maria is one of the best hair cutters I have ever had, she takes her time and does an excellent job every time. The price at hair cuttery can't be beat and if you find a great stylist like I have there is no reason to go anywhere else.

When calling on the phone for a price of a haircut they will tell you it’s $22 or $28 depending on if you want a specific hair cutter . But when you get to the register they will ask for $32. I did not get my hair
