EDIT: Please read this before the rest of the review. When I got home from my visit, it turned out that four of my 45s were actually missing. After reorganizing and triple-checking my records to find nothing, I called the store and the employee who helped me earlier answered. He said he had no idea what happened to them, so I drove back to the store to see if I could spot them anywhere and ask him in person, but no dice. A couple days later, I unexpectedly received a phone call from a manager (not the same employee). He apologized and asked for the time frame of my original visit, which I gave him, as he needed it to check out the security tapes to see if he could see what happened. He said he'd get back to me, but I didn't hear back for a while. Fast-forward to just yesterday. I received a call from the same manager who said he had reviewed the tapes and then began profusely apologizing. It turned out that the employee did indeed misplace the records, and they had been processed, meaning I was never going to see them again. They offered me compensation to make up for it. I would like to point out that at no point did I ask for any sort of compensation, bark at the employees, or get on them, especially after being told by the manager that they'd review the tapes. They offered to amend the situation on their own volition, which I greatly appreciated. I will never see the records again, but that's okay, as I was trying to get rid of them anyway. I still do not approve of the behavior and actions of the first employee, but the manager, Andrew, completely made up for it. I will be returning to this store in the future as a customer. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ORIGINAL TWO-STAR REVIEW: Great selection, friendly staff, just like any other Half Price Books. However, what is prompting me to write this review today is the service I received when attempting to sell some used vinyl records. I came in with a collection that I knew wouldn't include many selections that any store would reasonably want, which is fine. I ended up taking the records back with me, which I assumed I probably would. That isn't the issue. The entire experience was pleasant, right up until the end. The employee at the counter helped me put the records back in the boxes I brought in, and though he was a polite individual to me, he did not seem to have a single bit of care for the records themselves. I originally had them alphabetized, and he repacked them completely out of order. He started packing them upside-down, sideways, and backwards, and I noticed that they had been stacked in a large pile as they went through to assess their condition. There were over 200 records in a large vertical stack. There were also 45s, some of which were packed upside-down and fell out of their sleeves. Some of the 45s' original sleeves are now ripped completely open, and now, don't even hold their records properly. Now I am tasked with reorganizing the entire collection a second time, all due to the carelessness of this employee. The wait time for them to process my order was relatively short, everyone in the store was polite to me, and I may go back in the future to buy some books. However, I am appalled that they would treat people's possessions this way, especially right in front of them. The face-to-face customer service was great, but they don't seem to really care about the condition of items that are brought in. Very disrespectful.

Each December a work conference beckons me to Indianapolis (Keystone area) and each year I luckily find a few hours to take care of some personal shopping. This Half Price Bookstore always makes my list of local places to shop. Now make no mistake, Half Price Bookstores can be found throughout the region and as chain stores go, they offer a good service in clean, orderly environments, all at fair prices. But I must admit this, this location seems to go above and beyond. The evidence for this starts with their selection. It’s always fresh with recent releases as well as broad with older favorites across a wide subject area. They even have a fair collection of rare and leather bound books, which is perfect for a book collector such as myself. Secondly, the staff is very friendly and helpful. A simple request is usually met with a quick answer or a guided tour to the correct section. My last visit had a staff member search for the last copy of a book for my wife that I hadn’t found elsewhere. Third, is the layout - I know, this one sounds lame, but hear me out. The store’s space being more rectangular allows for shorter rows making it easier to find categories. The space in each row is comfortable and it doesn’t feel over-packed. All these items make for a pleasurable experience. So, kudos to the staff of this Half Price Books. You make my day and earn five stars from this annual customer!

I made a wrong turn and it was a great one! I'm not originally from the area, so I hadn't been familiar with this store (or that it's a chain). It turned out to be a wonderful surprise. The couple of books I did search for I found. But honestly, it's a perfect place to browse. They have several gorgeous sets of 1st editions; classics as well as kitsch. Everything is sorted well, by subject and by author, and there are many categories to choose from. Scooping up a paperback I have been wanting to read for a dollar made my nerdy day. They were also masked and practicing social distancing, which, let's face it, should be commonplace even with the mandate lifted. All-in-all a great spot that I plan on returning to often.

Do not sell here. Preface: I had failed to look up what the item was worth beforehand, so I do except responsibility for accepting the offer. However, the fact they're griffing people with such offers is still unacceptable. I had recently brought in a copy of Doom 3 board game with all the pieces. A long with a few other items, the total they gave me was 24 dollars. The board game itself, used, is worth at least a minimum of 60 at other used sites (as of the last I checked) on the lower end of the price range. They also had a dark souls board game available for 80. Knowing what I was paid for the doom 3, I can only imagine how little they gave the seller. Needless to say, don't sell here. Absolutely not worth it.

One of my favorite Half Price Books Locations. Just a warning though, whenever you trade things in, don't expect to get much for them. Try to sell your valuable stuff on eBay or another way. At a different location, I recently got low-balled on a large amt. of books and records. I still took the store credit because I was glad to get rid of the stuff and do think HPB is great. Update: Took another large box of books in and they only gave me $5. Probably only .10 per book and there were several like new cond. kids and young adult books in there. Half Price books… please be more fair to your customers and pay us more for our stuff!

Everyone there is nice and helpful, the selection of books, films and records is rather immense. A lot of interesting things to choose from more any kind of person who likes tv shows and movies, music and most importantly, books. I found book 1 and 3 of a song if ice and fire for really cheap and come great films. I didn't have enough time to stick around and look thoroughly through the record collection but I did manage to pick up one record, at least. But a great place with great deals and lost of interesting things to peak anyone's interest. Even lots of collectors items too. Go check it out!

My kids ask to go here. They had all 3 books of an older series on the shelf at a great bargain price, 2 hardcover and 1 paperback in good condition. I also spontaneously picked up an older single season dvd set and was here today to return it. We decided to go further and order a full series set. There was a full parking lot and, as I'd expected, there was a line of customers, but it moved like lightening. Very friendly staff. Had to present item with original price tag, receipt, card/original form of payment and my driver's license and felt like a criminal, but otherwise we'll return for sure.

If you enjoy a treasure hunt and books, this is your place. I never know what I will find here. I typically go in looking for one thing, and walk out, hopefully, with what I am looking for plus a few other things. I have only ever bought books here so I can't comment on the quality of other media. Occasionally, I sell items here depending on what the item is. If it is a rare, out of print DVD, I have had better offers on Amazon and Ebay. For items such as older DVDs I have gotten fair prices without the hassle of having a yard sell or shipping items.

MUST BE GOING OUT OF BUSINESS! The last several years we have gone to the Black Friday sale and this year we stood outside in the 25 degree weather only to find out that they are no longer giving out gift cards with the chance to win $100. With their cutbacks I feel like they’re going out of business and can’t give back to the customer. I’m extremely disappointed. I will no longer be going here; I will be going to Barnes and Noble from now on. I thought they cared more about their customers.

My experience today at Half Price Books on 82nd Street, Indianapolis was very enjoyable! We had just got to an area and started looking when a young man walked up and offered his assistance. He asked if he could help us find a specific author or even which book we were searching for. He came back later & informed me that a book I was interested in was available @ the 86th Street store. He had checked and came back to let me know. How thoughtful! I wish I had caught his name. Great service.

This place is AMAZING. All books are tremendous and sold at excellent prices. Yet another place I'd like to work for. The books here should be able to appeal to just about anyone, and are very affordable to the average American. I personally love educational books and magazines, as well as graphic novels, and then there is literature that I'm sure anyone could find and enjoy! I highly suggest this place, so please go here if you have the time and money (which shouldn't be a problem).

  • Matthew Bernard

Whenever I'm in an area near a half priced books I have to stop. There really isn't anything bad to say about them. Their staff is friendly and helpful, the shop is clean and organized, and the prices are incredible. As the name suggests, at least half off the cover price. The only way you could be disappointed is if they didn't have what you wanted, but since they add new inventory all the time, you can just check back later. The only problem I have is knowing when to stop buying.

  • Sharon Crooke

Why not give a top rating to a book store? The staff greeted me and helped with the book I was seeking. The store is always clean, well lit, and stocked with inviting choices. Books are in top shape. Gently used and new books are waiting for customers. Why wait for Amazon? Purchase here or order from their numerous locatons. Need a gift? Come here first! Stock up for the winter and save a bundle. You can always sell what you have when you are ready. Go have fun.

  • Amanda Smith

SO MANY things to look at! Everything was organized so well! I just discovered this store and I couldn't believe everything they had to offer... DVDS, games (video and board), super cool selection of odds and ends type collectables. I found DVDs I couldn't find anywhere else and I got my son books for Christmas (captain underpants for 2.50 WHAT! LOL). I have already planned on exploring all of the nearby locations because it's like going on a treasure hunt!

  • Angela

Always a fun place to stop for affordable handheld books. Of course, based on their business model, you may not get a specific book on your particular trip. However, I have learned to keep a list of books I want on hand and keep shopping until i find it. Just a tip, you may be better off donating books to goodwill or thrift stores over the pennies you get from selling them. I do still sell items from time to time.

  • Brian Christopher

A clean, tidy used/closeout book store. It's always buzzing with people. You can browse for an extended period of time here. They have records, movies, and audio books plus others all broken into various topics. I would like to see more audio books. There is a clearance section and a "collectible" section too. I have not sold books to them so I can't comment. Tip: Parking is a challenge here. Lot is very small.

  • Garnett Bruce

Researched some places to sell books at and was directed here. I had a lot of older books that I was just curious if I could get anything for (wasn't expecting a lot). The process was really easy. I came in and handed over the books and my license they said it would take about 10 -15 minutes to go through them all. They called me back in under 5 minutes. I was given a receipt, cashed out, and left.

  • Vipul Patel

This was a gem find for book-lovers like me. It has nice collection of books. Fiction, non-fiction, graphic novels, comics, puzzles and a lot more. Prices are, if not completely half, then at least less than actual market price. True joy is to find that some old good books amongst treasure troves of book shelves. You can also sell your books here. Good initiative. Must visit place for book-worms.

  • Christina Wornica

I went to Half Price Books hoping to sell some books to them and was unsuccessful as they were curriculum that isn't in high demand. However the staff was very helpful in recommending other options and even showing me online how to find the sites and what to do. They have a great setup for evaluating books to buy but don't expect much money for your books. All in all it was a good experience.

  • Juan Jose S. Perez

Great place to find books, like: World Vacation Guides, Language learning books, Chess Books, World & Literature References & History, Math, Philosophy, Military Biographies, Poetry & wring guides, etc. The Sky is the limit. Well organized store and friendly helpers ready to assist you with your book needs. Great prices at a discount for books and Military discount for all Military Veterans.

  • Jason Lavelle

I went in and sold my books that I had collected over years and never went back to after reading. They are a great place for selling your books that are just taking up space that could be put to better use by others. You are not going to get a huge amount of money but it is painless and while they tally up your books you can look around the store and find your next book to get buried in.

  • TheSqaull17

Always love half price books tons of books, they have theology, fiction, non fiction, medical, school books, and many more. They also have deals every so often too. So if your a book nut like me, mainly I'm a theology nut. But if your like me it's worth it to look here first for those hard to find books and rare and some new books too. Just depends on if someone has dropped it off there.

  • Jake

A lot of good stuff here. A little high on prices and they're selling some computer media that won't actually work because there's only one time codes with them. But board games movies and CD departments pretty good selection bookwise well it's half price so you get the idea lots of lots of books overall could have gonen five stars if they price their computer media more fairly

  • Ryan Wilhite

If you want to purchase books, cds, videos, or even Legos, this is a good place to go to find gently used and sometimes new products. If you want to sell books, board games, or other items, be prepared for a very low offer. Unless your book is new within the last 5 years, you are coming here to receive $1 or $2 -- more than Goodwill and less hassle than Amazon.

  • Truck Drivin' Kid Billy

Since I really didn’t look in any other section besides the comic books I can’t write the store with anything else other than saying decent back issues selection….. but this is the kind of store that knows when something is valuable and when something is not so you’re not going to find a hidden gem in here unless it’s priced before it became relevant.

  • Jennifer Mair

This place is the best! The staff is always helpful and go above and beyond to help my daughter and I find what we're looking for every time we visit. Last visit we sold some books as well. They processed our sale quickly and when we were finished shopping we collected and checked out at the same time. Very convenient for this book worm!

  • John Sproul

Half price books is always amazing. This one had a larger choice than most and everything was organized well and was clean. The staff was very friendly and even though it was busy they go us through lines very quickly. I know the name says books, but they also have a large variety of movies, games, comics and more. Check them out!!!!

  • PM Radio

Great prices and wide selection!!! I LOVE the books I got there and got over 20 books and 2-3 calender while only spending just a bit over 100 usd!! (Things were on sale atm) Aswell as some new books being there and rather popular books aswell! A wide variety of religious, classics, kids books, etc aswell as a lot of manga and cds!

  • Josiah Barker

Good experience. They move things around since we've last been there. If you haven't been for a while, you're in for a surprise. Shouldn't take too long to reorient yourself. Great selection. They have lots of puzzles, video games, board games, movies, CDs oh, and obviously book. Their clearance selection was pretty big as well.

  • Brandon Sobotka

Love this place! I could spend hours here while also spending a lot of money. They almost always have the business books I'm looking for my work. We buy family and kids movies when we want to add variety to our collection. There's even more, but those are the two primary reasons I go. I've never been disappointed by the service.

  • Eduardo Sol

Great store. I am usually able to find the books I am looking for. The big draw back is customer service. 2/3 times I have to wait for someone to come work the register. It never fails. I will find my books in 5 minutes, and then spend 15 minutes waiting for someone to come and ring all the people waiting to buy a book :s

  • ashley merrell

This place is great. They have some new releases for less than sticker price. You can find books for way less than retail price and they're still in great condition. They even have a huge clearance section where you can find awesome stuff. You can find weird wacky books here that are harder to get in other retailers.

  • Francoise Dakri

Was there for a quick errand. Wanted to buy my third grader a reading book but had to quickly grab one off the shelf because they are suggesting 1 person per alcoves . So if someone is taking their time to choose their books, you may have to wait a little... I didn't have the time so I didn't wait...COVID-19 era...

  • Deborah B

We love going to Half Price Books. We go there to buy most of our books. And we also go there to sell stuff, too. They buy books, music, collectibles, records, video games, etc. We usually end up there once a week after lunch. And then we go to a coffee shop to enjoy some of our new finds with a cup of coffee.

  • Anna Berndt

One of my favorite chains in the in the area! There are always good fines and the staff is very accommodating to help you find whatever you're looking for. It's also a much better alternative than just bringing all your books to Goodwill, at least you can get some money back from them and maybe a new book too!

  • Brent Brockley

This is one of my favorite places to be. I find so much peace and pleasure browsing the shelves here. You are able to find so many great books and games. If you can't find it, odds are good that this store can get it for you. I've been a customer for 25 years and plan to keep stopping in for years to come.

  • Tommy Mitchell (T Money)

Half priced books ? Let me tell you what man. This place has All the books and guess what ? That's right..... You guessed it. All books are half priced..... Can you believe it ? Just like the sign says. Good job half priced books. I'ma see you again soon. Next time I gets me a hankering for a good read.

  • Emily F

Very awesome selection of books, media, games, and crafts. Bought a few crafts for myself for the holiday weekends and have had a blast doing them. Rounding out my media collection of favorite TV shows is easy to do here! The prices here are so great. Reminds me of my fave bookstore in my hometown.

  • Iron Coder

A great location for those wanting to be surrounded by a library of endless wonders! They have the latest and greatest books to old dusty times written by Merlin himself! All jokes aside, this location is lit! Come in enjoy a clean environment while you find your next adventure for reading :)

  • Torrin Smith

Always a great place to visit! The staff are so friendly and helpful! One person recommends excellent poets and books of poetry every time I check out! Please visit your local HPB, even if you don't find what you're looking for I bet you find three new things you didn't know you needed!

  • John Sweezy

I love going to this store. My oldest child is really big in graphic novels right now, and they have a great selection. If they don't have it the staff is super helpful finding what you are looking for. Also the prices are hard to beat with the occasional new book sitting on the shelf.

  • Christina Jenkins

Love coming here! First time trading books in today. It was actually very quick and they took every book i had. Cash back was reasonable and their selection is huge! Can be difficult to find what you are looking for, but you can ask and they know where to find it! Great staff as well

  • Michael Saalman

Whether you're looking for something specific, hoping to discover a new favorite, or just in the mood to wander, Half Price Books is your place. Although it's a chain, each location holds onto that unique environment of an authentic local bookstore. The prices are also pretty great.

  • Sandy M

The bookstore is surprisingly well organized and easy to browse. The employees are friendly and helpful. The prices when buying books are decent. You truly don't get much money for trading in your books, which is understandable. But it's worth saying so you can prepare yourself!

  • Bubblez 95

Traded in some books, was met with a smile, and deeply impressed!! I love the fact that they recycle them, they have an awesome kid friendly area, and clearance is always fun. Just to find those books that everyone else skimmed over is such a great deal for me!! Thank you!

  • Cloris PatientC

Great example of a 1/2 Price. Aisles accessible, but too many upper shelves that cannot be reached. That is a design flaw, not something wrong with just this store. A few chairs around for resting & reading. Wish they had more staff but the folks they have are great!

  • RJ Cooper

An excellent way to spend a few hours lazily searching the shelves for your latest bibliophile addiction. Prices have come up in recent years but good bargains can still be had from time to time. I often pick up a copy the classics or find a new book on the sciences.

  • Kate Alfrey

I've always loved this Half Price Books, but now that I've gone in during covid, I love it even more. It felt clean and safe to be there, they still had an amazing selection, and they processed the books we came in to sell super quickly. So glad to have this place.

  • Rebecca Hall

Amazing variety of literature! The manga section and comic book section were way better than I anticipated. There was even a section for video games, movies, board games, and card games. Was hard not to leave with too much. Staff are kind and helpful. Clean store.

  • Yvonne M

I heard they sold used vinyl records so we decided to stop, mmt daughter was in heaven. She loved the selection and the associate helped us order the record she wanted since they didn't have it. Great customer service and a large variety of items to choose from.

  • Sara Friede

They are great: tons of items and also novelties. Prices are right. I will say that I used to buy books exclusively here because of the deals however the library IS a better price point for similar materials. But if you do need to own a book HPB has options.

  • Ellyn Pruitt

A fantastic inventory here! They were not short of my favorite Sci Fi TV show and movie collections. Their religious/theology/Christian section was pretty divers as well. This is now going to be a spot I visit anytime I have to travel to this side of Indy.

  • Jeff Klassen

This place is huge and has alot of variety for gifts or just buying for yourself. Lots of puzzles, video games for different systems, comic books, board games and of course tons of books. The staff is friendly and helpful. This is a great place to browse.

  • Stevie S

Came in looking for three specific books and found two of them. Tried to find more but there were two kids running up and down the aisles and two others screaming and crying. Nothing against the store, it was organized chaos. Could use more chairs though.

  • Florencia Cutrone

I come here all the time. I'm always adding books to my TBR list and I love coming here to look for books on that list or to just browse and see what I find. They also sell jigsaw puzzles, dvds, and other fun stuff. Half price books is my happy place.

  • Wayne Bright

Great selection of books, they didn't have what I came in for but I still found a book I just couldn't leave without. They will buy your old books, and other items too. Plan on spending time browsing through this is not a quick in and out type stop.

  • Melissa S

I have been buying and selling books here for a decade. I recently took about 20 books to sell. I was offered an extremely low amount for what I had, which included hardbacks and recent bestsellers. They said they would take every book that

  • Anita S.

They never give you much for books you sell. I know they have to make money, I understand that, but I'm sure they make four times as much as what they paid me, probably more. I'm not buying anymore books, they're not worth anything re-sale.

  • Krystal Stutts

Great, tidy store. The layout is not too cramped, while not looking sparse. Their selection of books is something I will never complain about, and even when I say I'm not going to buy anything...I always walk out with something. Overall, I

  • Patsy Martin

Called them prior to coming to find out what is acceptable? I was told to bring them all. If they couldn't buy them..they would dispose of them. I had 4 boxes of books. They only accepted 2 law books for $15.00. It was a waste of time.

  • Raul Olvera

Nice clean environment. Everyone was doing their part in wearing masks and being socially distant. Prices are fair and not overpriced. The only thing missing is the FREE coffee they used to have :( I really like the smell of coffee :)

  • Michelle Karin

We love going here for books! The selection is huge and changes often as they are always purchasing used books. My kids always find something to read and we don’t have to spend much. The store is also clean and the staff is friendly

  • Rachael Ridenour

This Half Price has always kept a good variety of books, including new with their resales. The prices are so much less than places like Barnes & Noble. It’s always fun to go on a treasure hunt through a section and find a gem.

  • Natasha Bon Bon

This location has lovely staff. The store is well-organized, and well-maintained. They're not just a great place for books, but also a neat place to check out cute, quirky gifts that you wouldn't normally find at other shops.

  • Turtle The Piercer

I have been going to the same Half Price Books in Greenwood, IN for about 30 years. I like them all though for the different varieties they offer. I always find something interesting and very rarely walk out empty handed.

  • Erica Bennett

Love this store and it's employees. Always have good service here! Great prices on video games as well as books. They have a large selection of classic collectible books as well. Store is clean and organized. Great job!

  • C Roush

Pleasant atmosphere with helpful staff. Fantastic selection and a very very cool selection of vintage and antique books. They do offer a 10% military discount which is always great! Will be sure to continue our visits.

  • Bri

I had a good time browsing at this Half Price. I found an interesting selection of French comics (with attached notes), secondary material about ancient philosophy, and enamel pins of Kurt Vonnegut and his asterisk.

  • Katy Cunningham

I do not recommend selling your books here. They give you next to nothing and do not even help you bring them all in. You’ll heart will feel better off just donating them to an actual loving cause and community.

  • Kevin Robbins

Great venue for used classical and jazz vinyl albums and obscure used cds in all styles. Worth a detour. Quite decent selection of books in foreign languages, especially French and Spanish. Go now! (Allez Vite!)

  • Amanda Gorringe

Great place to take your unwanted book to sell. They can look up a book that you want. If it is at a different store, they can have it delivered to the store that you want to pick it up from. I love this place!

  • Drew Bear

I love this place. You can sell your old books here. You can find just about anything bc they have a large selection of genres. They also have movies, games, and CDs. As well as smaller gifts for a book lover

  • Tyni Birdsong

As always, I spent way too much! But that's a good thing and most of the books were for the kids! I was a bit disappointed I couldn't find any Splat the Cat books as my son has taken a liking to those books!

  • Jonathan Winchester

Great place to take your used books, cds, dvds, games and ornaments. You won't get an amazing price for them, but you are getting them back in circulation for others and it's better than throwing them away.

  • David Miller

We love books. We love this store. New and used. Good prices for both. We sometimes make the 75 mike one way trip just to visit the book store. Make a day of it. For us, a great date as we love to read.

  • Jessica Tuterow

This half price books store is a nice smaller location, however it still has a wonderlandful selection of books. I love going to HPB stores and I almost always find something I absolutely have to get!

  • Jordan Webb

A huge selection of books, music, games, and movies. They have new and used books all at very good prices. If you are looking to make some extra cash you can even sell your old books and DVDS to them.

  • Braiden “Pulser” Smith

I love Half Price Books. They always have a great selection and friendly staff, and it's an awesome place to sell or donate used books. If they stuck a coffee shop in the store, I would live here.

  • John Laughlin

Good prices for most things. Of course some stuff is upcharged, but you have to expect that. My main complaint is the lack of manga. There really isn't much and what they have no one really reads.

  • Robb Smith

If you are considering bringing books here to sell, you would be better off burning them in your fireplace as they're relative value to firewood would be higher than what this store will give you.

  • Jennifer Foutz

We purchased a lot of educational books, games and unique journals! We drive from Greenfield every couple of months and it makes for a fun family outing. We always find something for everyone!

  • Sydney Burden

Great place to shop and sell books. The magazine section is filled with very recent issues of Cosmo, Vogue, etc., And only cost 50 cents! The store has Lots of options and is easy to navigate

  • Robert Glass

Great staff, great selection of used books, and great prices! If you are looking to trade in old books or movies, you can bring them in and exchange them for a cash offer. Highly recommended!

Has a great selection of used books. The prices are reasonable and you're sure to find what you're looking for. I go for vinyl records and they have a decent collection of new and used ones.

  • Alison Rodgers

I like this store. Clean, courteous and typically we'll stocked. The manga section is sparse, although most readers are also collectors (my daughter is a fan.) The record selection is good.

Clean store, helpful staff! Didn’t find every book I wanted, but that’s not unexpected coming to a thrift book store. Great stationary and gift section, as well as nice clearance options.

  • Gayle Burris

Had two boxes of books to sell, was taken care of right away. This place has so many cool well-loved books, I almost bought more with the money I was paid. Nice people, great selection.

Half Price Books is always a 5 star experience. I love happening upon treasures; although you can often find a specific book you're looking for as well. The staff is always wonderful.

Love that they offer gift cards. My daughter gets them for Christmas & birthday gifts. It's hard to keep up with her reading so this place is a awesome place to get her books.

I love browsing their shelves. This store is remarkably well-organized, which means that structured title-searches flow almost effortlessly from one section to the next.

  • Carol Mills

What a great find! Lots of books in good condition. Seems like every genre, pretty much every topic you'd expect in a book store. The children's book area is a goldmine!

  • Aaron Covert

Always a good experience and you'll never know what you find. Also surprisingly good vinyl selection. I recommend going at least once a month as stock changes rapidly.

This was honestly my first trip to Half Price Books. We found an amazing Edgar Allen Poe collection that had a beautiful inscription from a son to his mother in it.

  • Jeffrey Hine

Well-stocked used bookstore with lots of possible selections. I purchased two hardcover books at very reasonable prices and the books were in excellent condition.

Not the biggest HPB I've ever been to but I found a stack of books just like I always do. Several staff members said hi and were available if I needed anything.

  • Zach Bowman

Great place! One of my favorites. Books, vinyl records, board and card games, etc. Great source for all of the above. Something always catches my eye.

Great prices. Friendly staff. Clean. Well organized. You don't get much selling books to them, so just be aware of that. Overall we love this store.
