Food was amazing! I always come here for the hot taiyaki and the soft-serve. Can’t forget about the spam, I usually order like 6 spams. Everyone is so friendly there and knows my order when I get there. Sometimes they will give me free sample to try when they are coming out with new items on the menu. Love it here!! More

So cute.! This place is very calming and has good snacks too.! I got the Ham & Cheese and Chocolate Chip Taiyaki and a Hazelnut Iced Coffee and everything was good.! My only negative is that there was too much ice in the Iced Coffee, but I supposed you can request they do less ice. I'll definitely be coming back.! More

It's a nice place to get a different kind of foodie experience! I've tried most of the menu selections. My favorite is the Sweet hot Taiyakis - Ube, Nutella, or Custard. They are made fresh when the order is placed. So yummy!!! Loved the Cold Taiyakis on Gingersnap matcha ice cream!!! Very friendly staff always. More

Nice small Cafe. Taiyaki ice cream cone is a good size and tasty. The custard Taiyaki was good as well. Unfortunately, the Ramune float is a rip off. $8 (rounding off) for a ton of ice, a 1/3 cup of ice cream and very little soda. Who puts ice in an ice cream float? 1st time for everything I suppose. I really enjoyed my visit to this establishment. The ice cream and our drinks were really good. We will definitely be coming back. We loved how clean everything was and the atmosphere. We also loved the back wall where you can take pictures. A plus is the Japanese store next door. More

Fantastic place with unique snacks and food. Everything I've had here has been delicious. The Taiyaki with red bean is legit. I can't wait to eat my way through the whole menu. The matcha-vanilla soft serve is a must have. Cool open space with super friendly staff. More

Fun and unique experience with both the the Cafe and the market next to it. Staff were extremely helpful and the food was DELICIOUS!!! The market next door was amazing and fun to look around. Everything was priced fairly. Will definitely be going back More

Everything about my taiyaki was delicious and the person at the counter was super nice, helpful and quick making my order. Definitely plan to go again! Also, as someone who isn’t big on matcha, I thought the ice cream was the perfect amount of flavor More

Almost 30 mins in the line to order and I get it because is Sunday... however when making my order they run out of rice and can't do half of the menu. Isn't that basic for this type of restaurant? I had the vanilla cone of ice cream... let see More

I visit often with family, and when people come to visit me in SATX. You can't go wrong with the taiyaki, but the hidden gem here is the spam musubi! I go here JUST to get my hands on them. I never experienced it before until I tried it here!! More

This place was pretty good. I got the upside down taiyaki with matcha ice cream, mochi, and rainbow sprinkles. The actual taiyaki was really good, however, I found that the matcha soft serve didn’t really have a lot of flavor. The food came

We ventured to try out the newly trending dessert at Hanamaru Cafe. Looking at the options of cone, upside down and cup, I knew that Dad and I would need the upside down ones. My husband had the mixed taiyaki cone with rainbow sprinkles and

Hanamaru Taiyaki is SO YUMMY! We went here specifically to try taiyaki for the first time a few weeks ago, and we LOVED it! It's sort of like a warm waffle type of flavor, like a waffle cone, but soft, with some deliciously creamy soft ice

The staff were very nice and informative when I went there I had a a few questions about things and they answered them with a nice explanation. Also informed of alternatives they had for the food and drinks. When I walked I could see them

Hanamaru is located next to the Japanese grocery store Minnano. There is plenty of parking right outside the restaurant. The ice cream machine was down when I visited, but that was okay because I wanted to try the ube taiyaki because I've

The ladies working there were quick to take my order. The food was prepared in front of me, and the freshness makes such a difference in the taste. The bulgogi was absolutely amazing. I also tried the red bean taiyaki for dessert and spam

  • Neona Yomi

The wait was crazy which is fine. The main problem was they took for ever to get our order right. They didn't even know half the stuff we named off on the menu. The food was mid for the price. We got a lot of food to try. Over all wasn't

This is my third experience coming to this cafe, and I've not been disappointed. Their flower pea lemonade is fantastic, and their taiyaki/takoyaki is phenomenal. If you miss Japan like I do or just crave their food, give them a try. More

The ice cream and fish cones are yummy. The prices though, are more than I would normally pay. Ok for a once in a while date night. Over $7 for a small cup of ice cream and fish cone. Just a fish with a filling is $2something, so you're

Always a sweet treat to go to after shopping next door to the Japanese Minnano grocery store. The cold Taiyaki cones with ice cream is what I order. I love taking a piece of the crunchy fish cone and scooping the icecream together. THE

Came here with high expectations from the reviews, nevertheless, when we place our order, the server to begin was extremely unprofessional and rude. She told us with an attitude that we would have to wait 30 minutes cause they weren't

The location is clean and nice with decent drinks. However when we tried to order food they told us since they closed in an hour the kitchen was closed. I understand closing the kitchen 15 minutes before to clean but an entire hour is

The soft serve was very good but the service was horrible, I waited over 30 mins for spam musubi, which tells you on the sign10-30 mins, but I was the first in the store and no one else was there. I ordered a soft serve apple (which I

This was a fun little stop that was recommended by a friend. It was a little pricey given tip and all, but I think it's justified, supporting a small business, and it's something you're not going to find anywhere else. The drinks were

Great cafe for freshly made Spam Musubi. The have vanilla, chocolate or matcha ice cream with all sorts of toppings with fresh fishy looking cones that taste so good. Go and try for yourself…you will love it!

Hanamaru is good but the cashiers are very rude and rushed my family out and said rude comments when we went to order. Taiyaki is good but these cashiers need to work on customer service. Will not come back More

40-45 min wait…… for two little pieces of waffles with some filling. Must of been because they passed up our order and gave the people who ordered after us the time. Pregnant wife’s food in the car went cold.

Nice quiet location. Service is good and quick. Food selections are good and doesn't take too long to get your order. My first time here and I enjoyed it. Will mostly come with my daughters who are fans. More

Had the upside down matcha ice cream and it was good! But the Takoyaki was a little too much doughy to me. It didn't have much stuffing into it compared it it's size. Other than that, food was great! More

The staff is super friendly! The eating area is spacious. I ordered a milk tea with boba, and the boba was not cooked long enough, so that was disappointing. I'll try something else next time! More
