First of all, this is a soccer field on the University of Portland campus, so accessibility is restricted. That said, University of Portland is a nice campus, so if you happen to be on campus and want to catch a game, this is a venue. It's clean with decent bleacher seating, etc.

Parking is very difficult during events (we came for the Thorns pre-season games). Plan on walking a ways. The seating is fine but people often are standing around the field as well, so it can be hard to see over people. Plan to get there

Meh. Line for entry was bogus, consessions was too irritating to even bother with, and no drums were allowed. Otherwise, turf looks great, awesome proximity to the pitch for spectators, and we won. ‍♀️❤ …

Amazing local soccer pitch that hosts fun college games (UP's men's and women's teams are always highly ranked), and often hosts exhibition games from visiting and foreign clubs.

You gotta love Merlo Field, I played on this fiend when I played college soccer against the UP men’s team, we lost but the field was amazing field to play football

Excellent stadium. New chair back seat have been installed in some sections. Seats are nice and close to the field. Very fun to watch games here.

We would catch the Timbers 2 team when they played here but sporadically visit now. Great place for football / soccer. Beautiful campus to boot!
