I would like to share my scary horrible experience I’d endorsed here at Haute Hair Salon. From the very beginning on arrival for my appointment I was told by the owner himself that my appointment was canceled, and he personally was trying to reach me?! So it seemed that I had step up an appointment with them in the past, and I was considered a no-show back in April... Now here in December I wanted to receive an haircut/dye before Christmas. Immediately I should’ve walked away. But the owner then realized that he didn’t want to turn away a paying customer. I explained to the owner that the person I spoke to over the phone and set an appointment with I did mentioned that I might’ve called them before to set an appointment, but I never received any service from them. He’d found my name/number, and there wasn’t anything mentioned before?! The owner then explained that it was his son that took my call and set an appointment initially, but it showed in their system that I was a no-show, and that is why he was trying to contact me! I apologized for not being able to make it for my appointment in the past.. Now I was just so excited for a new hair do! Next, I explained how I wanted to go back to natural brown hair color from black brownish color, so basically a tent two or three lighter? He then Explains to me that I’ll be lucky if the hair color takes because of how dark my color was and there was “No guarantee” even with a “lift” and that it’ll have to be a process and I can come in for a second color later on, so I agreed, and proceeded with hopes that it would take enough to show the difference in color! I don’t know if they did the lift treatment and it comes with the dye or it’s a separate process, but Anaite started applying the color to my hair and I sat under the hairdryer for a little while and received a wash and a rinse out. When they both started blow drying my hair right away I got the silent treatment. Without any compliments of my hair nor shows in the mirror or anything!! Almost instantly after they were done drying my hair Anaite walked away Not to see her until I was leaving and we were saying goodbye! MY HAIR WAS RUINED it was two different colors the brown dye did indeed take, but Only in my roots!!! Not to mentioned the brown dye came out a very bright red color on my roots and the rest of my hair stay the same a brownish black color. He said it was not that bad and that they explained to me that my hair would not take the color before hand so it wasn’t on them. Not that bad “I said” you told me that the dye wouldn’t take very much to my whole hair, but NEVER did you tell me just my roots will Only take! Well let’s just say that they did apologize refunded my money they couldn’t fix my hair and they told me they’re not the salon for me.

This salon is AMAZING!!!! I don’t even know where to begin. When I first showed up I was greeted quickly and was asked my name. The entire time I was there I was called by my name, to me that speaks volumes about their professionalism, and showed me that I’m not JUST a client. When I was shampooed, I got a really nice head massage, and had great conversation with Alan! Most of the time I feel really awkward as I stare at the ceiling when getting my hir shampooed. I was served a glass of wine by one of their sons while my hair was being cut by Anaite, cherry on top. And let me say this... before my hair appointment, I had hair right above my waist. Well I put it into a pony tail and chopped it off right above my shoulders, and I did a HORRIBLE job, it was all different lengths and I knew it was going to be a challenge. Anaite did an amazing job!!! I always feel like my haircuts are rushed and I leave only satisfied. I could tell Anaite really took her time, and I’ve never loved a hair cut more than this one!!! You should LOVE your hair, not just be satisfied. The place is also extremely clean!! While my hair was being cut, Anaite and Alan’s sons were vacuuming the hair. Most salons, when they finish I end up standing in my own hair and getting it on my shoes. This was a small detail I noticed and really appreciated. And my favorite thing about this place is that family is prevalent here and it’s local! I love supporting local family businesses. Their sons left while I was getting my cut and even said goodbye to me and told me it was nice to meet me! I can’t say enough good things about this place. I’m convinced that when I move, I’ll make the long drive just to come back here to get my hair cut. Stop looking at other salons and reading reviews, just come here, you won’t be disappointed!!!

EDIT: I wanted to revisit my original post to let you all know how amazing Anaite and Alan have been with my son. He's autistic and non-verbal. Haircuts have always been traumatic for him (and for me, too). About 3 months ago, we started working with my son and Anaite on haircuts. The first day, he barely walked in the door. Then he would go in and just sit in the shop, then in the chair. Every small bit of progress saw cheers and praise from everyone in the salon. Today, my son sat in the chair for 45 minutes while Anaite gave him a haircut. Anaite, Alan, and their sons encouraged him the whole time. They talk TO him, not around him. Anaite picks up on his signals for when he needs a break and she honors those requests. They give him high fives and fist bumps. They praise him and tell him how proud they are of him for working so hard. Angels, to be sure. I consider us blessed to have found them. I had a wonderful experience today at Haute Hair Salon. I was immediately welcomed and made comfortable by Anaite and her husband, Alan. The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming and relaxing. Anaite talked with me about what I wanted in terms of styling and what would work for my hair. I love my cut and more importantly, I left feeling like I had made some new friends. This was my first experience, but I will definitely be back.

Where can I start.. This has been my hair salon for the past 7 years Anaite and her team are truly the best in the business. Ms. Anaite being the color specialist, Mr. Alan being the Brazilian Blowout expert, and their sons being the most attentive and sweet working in the front desk and running their Real Estate company. You walk into this salon and feel so welcomed and leave with the biggest smile. I like to call them the dream team. They recently moved to a new location in the Spring Branch area which is so exciting. I live in the Spring Branch area, but would travel to the Jersey Village location they used to be located in because I was never able to find the quality work they do in this area. They work by appointment only, which to me I love because they really do give their undivided attention to every client that steps into their salon. This week was their Grand Opening at their new location and I stopped by for a quick wash and style and I left completely satisfied as always. Best customer service and results I could ask for. Thank you dream team for keeping my hair looking amazing always!

Guys! OMG, come on now! I was in need of major hair therapy and I saw a recommendation on Nextdoor about this salon. I did my Google search, read the reviews and was convinced. Went to their website to see what type of services they offered and decided on them. Called in, Alan answered the phone and was extremely friendly. We booked my appointment (you can book online too) and I was set. The day of my appointment I walked in and was the only client so I liked that I didn't have to wait! Appointment necessary! I was greeted by my name which quickly put me at ease and comfortable. Both Alan and Anaite (couple) were AMAZING!!!! I got my hair washed, conditioned, cut and a treatment for split ends! Both of them worked on my hair doing the treatment and blow drying my hair. Talk about VIP treatment . The vibe was welcoming and they had great music playing, not to mention the conversation and laughs! After my session my hair felt silky smooth and manageable. I am happy with my service and more importantly, I have found my hair home! Don't hesitate, book your appointment now!

I found this place by reading the google reviews. This place is top notch. From the moment you step in the door, you are treated like a star. You get their full attention. I came in with a hair color problem. They were honest with me and told me that it could cost way too much and take way too much time, for what I wanted done. They said I still would not be happy with the result. They told me the only solution to fix my hair was to dye it darker. I will do that at home since I already have the dye. So I asked them if they could fix my split ends. They said no problem. You can see in the pics that they did and awesome job! At one point during the session, I had both of them working on my hair, at the same time! I felt like a movie star...lol! I am going to bring the rest of my family here from now on. I highly recommend this place! Alan and Anainte are very professional, personable, kind, honest, talented and reasonable. They are beautiful people with a beautiful salon!

I called and told the guy I spoke to that I could be there between 8:15 and 8:30, he said 8:30 would be pushing it. He said he was going to put me down for 8:15, but never said he wouldn’t be able to take me if I was late. I was running 2 minutes behind due to traffic, but right at 8:15 I get a no show text. I called and told him I was pulling in to the parking lot and he said “sorry sweetie, can’t take you”. I drove half an hour to be turned down over 2 minutes! Never has this happened to me before at any other salon over being 1 minutes to 2 minutes late! Never did he tell me that I had to be there at 8:15 on the dot or he couldn’t take me. I would have never attempted the drive if I knew that was the case!!!

I went to Haute Hair Salon and immediately received a warm welcome. I had such a great time at the salon, and they treated me well. What I liked most was that they were honest with me. My hair color has been messy, and I planned to color over it (not knowing any better) since it had been a year since I last colored it. So instead of taking my money, Anaite and Alan suggested it was better not to paint my hair now because if I put color, soon it will fade either way, and you will see the other colors again. I appreciated the honesty and integrity they had for me as a first-time client. I will be coming back again soon because the haircut on me was just as I wanted it. One more satisfied customer! After reading several recommendations on my neighborhood website, I decided to give Haute Hair a try. I have been working to grow out my traditionally short hair into a layered, chin-length bob. I am 64 years old, but I still want to look reasonably stylish. Anaite, the salon owner, immediately put me at ease and listened carefully to my concerns as we looked at some pictures I had brought along. Since this was my first visit, she didn't do anything extreme. She trimmed and shaped my hair so that it would be easier to style. It's been almost a month, and I'm ready to go back to see what we can do next. The salon's atmosphere is calming and inviting, and the prices are quite reasonable. I am very pleased!

Where do I begin! I walked in and the salon smelled so amazing and is very clean and beautiful inside. I was greeted right away by Anaite, and then greeted by her husband. They are so amazingly sweet! I think they make an awesome team! I did the Brazilian blow out. My hair is extremely dry and frizzy. And I am never able to keep up with it. My hair now looks extremely amazing. I’ve never seen it this beautiful before! And I’ve never been able to run my fingers through my hair the way I can now! I love it. And everything that they put on my hair for the treatment smelled AMAZING! I will definitely be back! Highly recommend if you are looking for great service, and to be treated like family

Best hair salon in Houston hands down!!! Here you are family and treated with 5 stars. They are very attentive to the clients wants and concerns. I have been to so many salons over the years and fell into the fad of groupon and mainstream organizations. I had forgotten what great customer service felt like and at wonderful pricing!! They beat most competitors price wise but their crowning glory is there up and beyond friendly service. You walk in and are treated like an old friend, not a number. Drinks, lovely warming conversation... beyond wonderful!! By far, the best hidden gem in Houston for some pampering!!!

The people at Haute Hair were the nicest people out of any hair salon I've ever been to! Anaite and her husband take their time and don't rush you out the door whatsoever. My hair was a badly colored red and Anaite made sure she understood what I wanted and turned it into a beautiful caramel color with really nice highlights without frying my hair (which was awesome considering I had my hair dyed a few days before and was worried it would be damaged). They did a very thorough hair wash and offered free eyebrow/lip waxing with my service. Extremely reasonable prices as well. I will definitely be back!

About well over a year ago, I took a chance to book an appointment here. I had long blonde hair and I was looking for a salon to call home. I walked in and was greeted like a long life friend. I trusted Anita to chop my hair really short and my experience was like no other. I love this place, I love Alan and Anita❤️ They take the time to Cut, style, and color Exactly how you want your hair everytime! Hands down the best place to go. I have tried a lot of hair salon and I really can’t compare. They actually listen and they don’t break your whole bank with one session!!! Love love love them both!!!

NEW MANAGEMENT JULY 2015!!! Haute Hair Salon is great! My wife and I recently moved to the area and were looking for a salon. Everywhere we went we always left unhappy but Alan and Anaite hooked us up! They were awesome and friendly as well. The salon is very clean, relaxing and everyone was very professional and welcoming. We enjoyed our experience and our hair came out awesome!! Would definitely recommend and will be back! Tips: Ask for Anaite to cut your hair. She was so focused on getting it just how I wanted. I could not be happier with my cut and that I found my salon for the future.

Anaite And Alan are so hospitable, this was by far my best hair experience ever. They take appointments after 6pm which works with my work schedule. They tag team what usually took 6 hours to do my hair they colored and highlighted within 2 hours. The quality and experience is beyond and above. Very personable and friendly. I love my hair! I can back for my Brazilian blow out and the compliments have been flooded at work non stop. I give them 5 STARS ⭐️ 10 if I could. My new hair salon where I can trust the work, I’m happy with it it and beyond serving and caring! Thank you!!

I'm not a person who usually writes reviews but the excellent service that has been given to me continuously has pushed me to write one. The owners are a very kind and sweet couple that are urgent to tend to clients and to make you feel acquainted. The service is top notch!! I have gone to get my hair treated and styled and also go to get facial waxing done. Alan is amazing with the waxing that he makes it absolutely painless, seriously though painless! and you can't receive a painless wax just anywhere. If I could give them more than five stars, so would!!!!!!

I was recommended to Haute Hair by my boyfriend and I have to say that Alan and Anaite went above and beyond my expectations. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by name and made to feel very welcomed. Their attention to detail was phenomenal; beverage selections, hair washing, asking if I wanted to watch anything specific on television and lastly their music selection. They are by appt only, and for good reason. I had my first session with them and they really did a thorough assessment of my hair. All said and done, I love my color and the conditioning feels great. They (husband and wife team) are very kind natured. Have a great sense of humor and listen to what your concerns are with your hair. They go above and beyond what other salons do. I have my "forever salon" finally and can't wait to visit them again. They are a great duo professionally and personable. Five stars should be 10+ .

Haute Hair has been my go to salon for the last 2 years. I am always pampered and my hair always looks great. The owners are simply lovely people and have become my friends. I highly recommend - you will not be disappointed!! To the person who rated the salon poorly because they (the client) arrived late - really?? What happened to personal responsibility and calling to indicate that you might be a few minutes late and/or need to reschedule?? The owners have always been incredibly accommodating when my schedule changes.

I had a lot of damaged hair and they talked me out to doing a relaxer, which would damage my hair even more. I did the brazillian blowout and my hair is looking healthy. I also bought the brazillian blowout shampoo, conditioner amd wax package. After applying the conditioner at home, I combed through my hair and no hairs fell off. I really appreciate their honestly about what I should do to my hair, it's been a few years that I could comb through my hair and not have it fall off. Totally recommend this place.

This is hands-down the best hair salon experience I've ever had! Anaite and Alan are so friendly, and passionate about what they do. They're both exceptionally talented and I highly recommend this salon! I went in for a haircut and got a complimentary eyebrow wax while I was there. I didn't have a great idea of what haircut I wanted, and Anaite was able to interpret what I wanted and gave me a better haircut than I even hoped for! Best service I’ve ever received! My hair is also the healthiest it’s ever been thanks to Haute Hair Salon. Usually when I get my hair dyed it gets dry shortly after and my ends will start splitting but it’s been four months and my ends still feel soft and my hair is still looking great! I love this place so much. I’ve been going here for a few years for hair color and hair cuts. Anaite and Alan are the best, and so welcoming and loving, they are like a second family. Best Eyebrow/Lip Waxing I have Ever Had - I randomly walked in and was helped right away by very nice people. The man doing my waxing made sure it was just what I wanted and it was the least painful experience of waxing I have had. I was honestly floored by the service and experience I had with Haute Hair. Omg omg! I highly recommend coming to this salon! The people are so warm and welcoming, the stylist are knowledgeable, and you aren't spending hours in the chair!! It was an all around home run!
