Heelalige station and this Hosur line location seems to be designed by architects who hated trains and public transport. If they located it at Hosur road junction (chandapura) it would have saved commuters all the harassment of trekking this 2Km in dark and busy roads. Similarly there should have been another halt to intersect with Outer Ring Road at Karthik Nagar(Alpine Eco Apartments). Hundreds of Whitefield bound folks risk their lives getting down on top of the bridge on Old Madras Road junction so that they don't have to go all the way to Byappanahalli and return in the traffic jam. Yes ORR was not build when this link was laid but Hosur and OMR was present. Before they double/electrify the tracks realignment would have made better ROI

Clean, neat & well maintained station. Only very few trains stop here, but for those trains, there is really good patronage. Close vicinity to Electronic City and Bommasandra, which are the tech and industrial hubs on Bangalore. There is good scope of development due the patronage and there is land for development. But, most proposals for this station are being shifted to Anekal due to reasons known to many. Railway can easily make this a freight hub, which will hugely help the numerous industries in Bommasandra and around. BMTC should run buses to and fro from the station at least during departures and arrival of the trains so that more people start using the station.

Station is not easily accessible from all places, roads to this station is like a adventure or tresure hunt, there are no facility inside this station, the frequency of trains are very low During dark it is not advisble or good to arrive here due to lack of facility, If the station gets attention from the railway board then definitely It can be a boon for many people nearby It actually looks like a typical small station, the best thing about this station is well maintaned, looks very clean as the number of passengers who board here are very less.

The platforms under construction look to be very big to accommodate long trains. This was an unscheduled halt for the 17236 express, which was running late.

Soon to be the terminal station of Bengaluru Sub urban service. The station has completely overhauled and no way it will resemble the old station landscape. Along with development, the station lost its natural beauty of being surrounded by trees. Now it looks more like a normal station. Facilities are up, you have a waiting room and toilet. Easiest way to commute Bangalore city and Hosur. Reaching the station is bit challenging unless you have your own vehicle. Need frequent train service. Currently four trains in morning towards Bangalore city and evening three. After 6.30 pm there is only one. Signalling is one of the poorest in the world for Hosur to Bangalore.

It is a small station with very few passengers boarding on and off, it's more of a crossing station for trains with only 4 daily trains. A cool place with trees around, clean and nice.

This is a best route to connect from Hebbal ring road to Chandapura it will take approximately 40 minutes to reach via train but limited trains
