Hi guys, I’ve just got a service for duplicating my car key. I exactly had a key bought from online and just want to cut and make it work for using my car. Firstly, the employee told me that it would be a $45 for cutting, but if you want to do with setting a program, you have to pay about $99 for the price. So I decided to do only cutting my key. Then he tried to do that. After he is done, he tried to open the door of my car. It can open the door, but it didn’t work to lock the door. Then he tried to do it again, it worked for opening and locking the door, but it can’t start the car. I told him why didn’t it work to start the vehicle. He said that if you pay more to do with the program, it should be working with the remote. So I decided to pay more $35 to do it again and I’ve waited for him about 30 minutes. He looked like busy with the other customers and told me that he waited for his tool to set the program in the key. I went back to my friend’s home and came back to his office again. He told someone to help this setting. He tried to do that and it can work for starting the car, but the remote didn’t work. He told me that maybe the remote chip didn’t work with the key and I have to buy the new key from website and can do it again for free price. I actually come from LA to visit my friend here and have to go back home for few days. So I told him that it’s okay, but I think that it would not be okay for the lost money and waste time. Finally, he said that my key looks like work, but it doesn’t work. Thank you for your response. This would be a memorable moment for me. Have a good business. Blessings, SP

AVOID!!! SANDIA SAFE & LOCK is around the corner, GO THERE! Sandia service was quick and easy, compared to this circus! This place has no access if coming from east bound Lomas, there is a back entrance off Roma, but their own employees w truck block the access to their front lot. What company does that? THIS ONE, not to mention they act like its ok? The man at the counter made nothing but excuses...of course he would. I will not be a paying customer to a company that thinks its ok to treat paying customers like this. They really need to step up their customer service, and parking situation, as if this is the safest area, especially for a girl. Very sad! Do better, its not only about your company, how do you expect customers to access your store front with your own employees blocking parking lots?

Went in to have a key duplicated, an individual at the counter looked at the key for about 10 seconds said it wouldn't be an issue but they were updating the software and to give him "a couple minutes". A few minutes came and went and the store started to get busy. I get back and line and 30 minutes later another competent employee actually asks what type of vehicle the key is for, looks up in his computer and says they can't do it. Awful service from the original employee, you could've taken 2 minutes to do your job properly and saved me half an hour and a bad review for your employer. By and large their reviews are positive and i'm sure I just got an employee a few minutes from their lunch break or something but won't be going back either way.

Would not recommend if your a business or trying to get a quick question, I called they put me on hold to get me to another dept. Waited a good 5 min for a answer then that dept. Put me on hold for a good 10 min before I just hung up this happend over and over for 3 days never got my answer or ahold of someone. I called roberts lock and key. Not only did they answer my question on the phone right away the even drove to my shop and did the job with in 30 min. They are the best. This place does not even have a mobile division so if you can't drive you have to get the vehicle towed in and that's a food penny shop around before looking at the stars and picking a place. Roberts lock and key are were to go and they are much cheaper with quality work.

Most personable and pleasant lock smith I talked to hands down. I spoke with Andrew and he told me to bring my car in and he’ll be able to let me know the least expensive option. I brought it in and I was impressed with their customer service and professional demeanor. They were handling a LOT of customers and able to make sure I didn’t feel forgotten. I appreciate it, and I WILL be back when another need arises. I highly recommend them. I spoke with Andrew and Jesse. UPDATE: I returned for another key cut and reprogram. Again, stellar service and better pricing than the other places that quoted me. Andrew in the auto department and the rest of the staff are the best. I will return again, my mom needs a small safe, as do I.

It's not the most affordable place to get any type of locks. This place has a strong arm as it's rather inclusive if you need certain keys cut. The security of only these guys being able to cut certain keys is nice, but do they really have jack up the price? Had a lock drilled out by a typical Albuquerque crook, so naturally, i needed the lock replaced. Unfortunately, the key shop said they couldn't get a technician out to my store sooner than 3-5 weeks. So you can't depend on them in a pinch. I also spent nearly $2k on multiple locks, and upon payment, they said it would take 3 weeks to get me a copy of my master key because they were busy. Heists Security I recommend them for key rings but nothing else.

Terrible customer service. I went there for lunch to have my key fobs programmed. After 10 minutes waiting in line I paid for the key fobs to be programmed and the clerk begins to program my remote. Before he could finish, the general manager tells him to stop what he's doing and go help customers at the register. I talked to the owner and he was no help and told me to go ahead and file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. So I am writing this review and warning future potential customers to stay away from this company. I am a black man and I feel I was racially discriminated against and I will never use this company again. They are very rude and unprofessional.

Terrible customer service... I took a deadbolt To have them make me a key, supposed to be picked up the next morning... guess what? After calling every day for four days, still not ready??? What the heck? I drove out there myself twice they tell me they don’t have enough help, second time they said it was too hard to get to it. BS... they didn’t even try to work on it but of course... they charge me an advance for it.very unethical and unprofessional people. Stay away from this place I wouldn’t recommend it to anybody so pissed off... They don’t even deserve A one star rating.........

Took a new vehicle ignition switch to get keyed to original switch as it was damaged over the weekend never had an issues before this time when i pick up switch I was concern due to the switch surface was not level rep said it would be OK. So I put the switch in and did not turn and was not able to remove on my own called them up wanted me to tow vehicle to them or take switch out. Neither could be done I ended calling a mobile locksmith cost me additional $$ but he was able to correct the issues and now have. Working vehicle no thanks to Heights Security something has change there not the same place I used to do business with.

I took them a gumball machine Monday. I got no call back from anybody! The job was to open the thing! I didn't ask for replacement locks or anything like that! I thought they were the best in town! They just kept my machine sitting in their shop as if it didn't exist! Just like I was a customer that didn't exist! They need to know the difference between what's important to them or what's important to the customers! They didn't even try to open it at all. I can't believe that they open locked out cars, trucks,safes and other locked devices! They failed me!

I arrived on Saturday at 2:58 PM not realizing they close at 3:00. I asked about getting dupes of several keys and apologized for walking in at the last moment. Both employees behind the counter said don't worry about it, we're glad to help you. Two of the keys I needed were unusual and I had left a trail of disappointment from Edgewood to east Albuquerque trying to get them copied. No problem at Heights, they had the blanks and I was on my way by 3:10. The cost was lower than I expected and the keys worked perfectly.

Well I just went in to have a key cut, but it turned out to be my ignition switch. To my surprise, the guys there at Heighrs were able to fix my ignition, and cut me a key to work on my ignition. And when my ignition started acting up about a week later, I went back and Mike fixed it for free. I had a great experience there, and would refer everyone I know to go to Heights Lock, Key, and Safe. I just want to thank all the guys that work there. Especially Mike. He did a great job. I haven't had any problems since.

I went to have keys made. I entered the store and was the only customer there. The man behind the counter did not acknowledge me or ask me if I needed help. But he did go to the workroom in back and disappeared. Although i did not spend more than a couple of minutes at the shop I left the store. Upon going through the alley behind the store I observed the employees eating lunch. It would be nice if you closed the store for the employees lunch period. I won't waste my time going to this store

These guys are professional, friendly, and courteous. I went in to get my keyless remote I'd purchased online programmed. They had no issues helping me out, and their prices are very reasonable. When I was there, I decided to get a spare for my vehicle made, as I couldn't beat the price. They had me ensure that it worked on my vehicle, and when it opened my door but didn't want to work in the ignition, they happily made a new key. I highly recommend them for all your locksmith needs.

Went in to get truck key that was lost and had no spare, so needed to run vin#. Heights wanted to charge 150.00 just to run vin-this is for an unchipped key. I pointed out that parts stores run vin#s all the time for no charge-the person I spoke to replied they had a computer program that charged that much. I went to a toyota dealer-paid 37.00 for three keys. Whats wrong with this picture? I like to support local buisness, but they gotta meet me half way..

An employee recommended I buy key remote from Amazon and bring it in for programming. I did, then was told by a different employee that they don't guarantee that they can program it and I'd need to pay first. He couldn't program it. They got my money for nothing. The first guy should have warned me that there's no guarantee that they can program non OEM key fobs. I wouldn't have bought it online.

Great service I call the store and ask do they fixed keys. My kids accidentally dropped the keys and broke them. Which at the dealership My keys cost $700 to fix. So I really didn't want to pay that healthy price. So I took them there it took about 10 minutes or so the older guy that fixed my keys. He was quick nice and professional. I would definitely go there again if I have any key problems.

I live in SC and attempted to use a few places locally, with no success. I found these guys on the internet and got in touch with them. They offered great customer service, with a knowledgeable staff as well as very fast response to my order. I will absolutely use them for all of my lock and key needs, even though they are literally states away from me. Awesome people, Awesome service!

I needed a new car remote key. Michael A helped me and the service was great. Then I went in today to have the key programmed. I was told the dealer had to program it because the car has a push button start. The Lexus service dept said I was sold the wrong key and they couldn’t program it either. But Michael A was able to get it programmed anyway. Thanks so Much!!!

This place is amazing and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND visiting for all your security needs! I was on my way inside and I just so happened to get sick in the parking lot. Lynette was right there, like the saint she is, with water and paper towels on hand- easily one of the friendliest people I have met! She got me everything I needed and I will definitely be coming back!

This place is awesome! I broke my key off in the ignition in my car. I was freaking out as I only had the one key. I took my car straight over. They were able to remove the piece of the key stuck in my car. They then were able to make a copy from the piece! I left highly relieved with three new keys for my car. Total life saver. They are the most helpful, friendly locksmiths I've ever met! I'm 9 months pregnant and have locked my keys in the car twice in the last 2 weeks. AAA got them or for me, but these guys made me more keys in case it happens again (modern car keys are not cheap!) and gave me a friendly discount because I'm a lifelong returning customer.

We had heights install a security system and camera system in our new building. Their pricing was competitive and the installation was done on time and on budget. When we have had small issues arise since the installation they have been quick to respond and get things corrected. Overall a great experience!

Had to have some locks re-keyed quickly. I called Heights and they were able to come the very next day. Jason called when he was on his way, arrived on time, and quickly and efficiently re-keyed the locks. He also made sure they were lubricated and that all the keys worked perfectly! These guys are very good. They deal with pretty much any kind of lock situation you've got. I brought them a Mercedes door lock mechanism with a broken key stuck inside. They had it out in 90 seconds. They also stock pretty rare key blanks for security doors and such. Great location, as well.

Never again! Prices are sky high. They even charged me a huge service call fee (over $50) to come literally 1 block. They said they would call before they did any work, but they didn't. I got charged over $200 to fix 1 deadbolt. Go gouge someone else. I'm done with them!

I had keys made for 2 vehicles with security system chips. I have the equipment to program the keys and Heights Security performed the cuts. All 3 keys worked as they were intended with no problems. Quality work and quick service from these folks.

I was very impressed with their expertise and professionalism as they installed a 1200lb safe for me. They placed it exactly where I wanted and were willing to come 225mi away to get the job done. The process was easy and worth every dollar.

Talked on phone with someone there said he would be there til 5:30. I Hussle over there get there 5:15 they close at 5:00. He had already gone. I hustle over to middle of rush hour. Lady tells me they always close at 5.

Excellent service, I hate using “Key Hero” lock smiths at Walmart or even Home Depot they always mess up when I make copies of keys. This is such a great local business with great customer service and great quality.

I submitted for a quote through the website and no one got back to me for two weeks. When I called them and they scheduled an appointment, the tech tried to come an hour and a half early and said I was a no show.
