This store is pretty sorted in their collection, knowledge and services. They have a clear understanding of the types of books and what each school recommends. Have been visiting them for past 2-3 years and haven't had any issue. In case, if the particular book is not available, they can arrange it for you on request. Please note, this store sells mostly academic books approved by different school boards. Not a place to buy general reading books. Parking is a major issue. You might want to use public transport or look for nearby lanes to park your car. If you are on two wheeler, parking is not an issue.

This place has always been the worst bookstore ever. Staffs are just so inefficient. They declined to give books even if stock is present just because they were a bit busy. Stock is right there and they told people to come back the next day. It wasn't even a request. They just acted according to their convenient.Its pathetic. It is advisable that people purchased books in a different outlet and not definitely this store.

This place is perfect if you want a quick look at certain books, wanna buy them asap, have an exam? No problem. The people in the shop will recommend you the best books...they have got it all. Though sometimes the reception for payment is so busy that the shopkeepers forget you were even there... But you can definitely try them out...each person's experience is different...

Horrible service ....visited many times to check the book availability but it was not there ....when books are unavailable...they ask you to call before coming but the phone is busy all the time ...their chat also doesn't respond ....have ordered online ... received in 2 days ...waste of my 1 week going to hema book world

Bought a total of 8 books from the shop, 1 of the books when opened at home was found to have a pretty loose and worn out cover page . Agreed I didn't check the quality of each book at the shop , but I thought it wouldn't be necessary because it's being purchased from a shop NOT dealing in second hand used books.

Neighbourhood book store especially for school books in primary and higher secondary level. Neat and well organised place with experienced staff. Have been going to Hema book world for the past 3 years to collect my school books....... It also has other stationary, paint, children's story books, pouches etc.

Very good place to get all textbooks for CBSE and ICSE curriculum, we also get solution books for ICSE and previous question paper sets for 10th grade. For ICSE text books we could not get any discount , they told us for CBSE we will get discount. For all the other books we get around 10% discount.

The store is pretty small, but it will satisfy your needs for NCERT books of all classes. I would suggest you to call them before going there to find out the availability of your required book(s). There is also a small stock of stationery. Kindly note, they are CLOSED on SUNDAYS.

Helpful staff, especially the senior staff members. In case you don't find the book you seek at the store, don't forget to request them to find out if the book is available at one of their other stores. They have three stores strategically located across Bangalore.

Dint find what I was looking for ..they do not receive the phone calls whatsoever n if they had done that I need not have wasted my time n money to go all the way to the store n find out that the book I was looking for was not available...

Visited on 26th may. Staff on 1st floor is so arrogant, behaves as if he is giving free books to customer. Management has to take corrective action

Didn't find NCERT books. Their contact number is always busy. Finally ended up buying online (Schoolkart) with one week delay.
