DISAPPOINTED:- This hospital is the worst place to go for help or if you have a medical problem, don’t go. There are a lot of nice places in Minneapolis that are worked by a professional doctors ready to help you more than and beyond. On June 09, 2019. I’d visited this clinic and when arrived the location, there was a lady in the front desk, she was kind of nice person and very humane. I asked her if she can help me to make an appointment with doctor then she took my ID and every other thing that is required someone to have who is willing to book an appointment. Then she said you’re all set, please come back on June 26, 2019. As my appointment time approached I arrived the venue earlier to have time for checking in, then front desk lady was ask me to catch up with the queue, after time they let me go inside and as I passed through the checking, there was nurse waiting me to help, she was super humane and very helpful. After basic checks; like hypertension and height/weight measurements, she asked me why I am here; “ to see a doctor “ I replied. She went in and call a guy who was representing the doctor whom I suppose to see with. I remember his name very well but I will use Dr. X because of ethical purposes. Then after he came to me, he asked where I had a problem, then after long explanation he said you need a surgery but before we do the surgery you need an ultrasound and I need to make an appointment for you tomorrow or may be sooner in the afternoon. I said okey make this afternoon as I had school next day. I went through the ultrasound in the same day. Now I have to wait the results then week after Dr. X called me and said your situation is very serious and you need to go a surgery very urgently. I shocked, frustrated and lost. I ask him if he could postpone my surgery appointment date, he said call that number and ask if they let you different time. It was a complete frustration, so decided to call a different hospital to ask for appointment, they just said you can come after two days, I went there, met with an specialist, he sent me some test and check ups, next day he call me and prescribed me 28 tabs of antibiotics. He said just come back after you finish it to see me again, so he could do further assessments if the medicine doesn't cure my illness. I followed his directions properly, I fully healed, retrieved my healthy and I’m thankful to him. It costed less than $200 for every thing. After months I forget everything and I found a mail in my mail box. It was bill notice from Hennepin Healthcare, it says you owe close to $1000 after your insurance coverage is been adjusted, then I called them to know what is going, they said you’ve to pay due balance otherwise it will directly go to collection and will ruin your credit records if you wouldn't pay it on the due date. I accepted to pay it although it was too much and unfair but for the sake of credit records I decided to sign up a payment plan where they withdraw from my account each month. Then guess what happen, After approximately 1 year and 2months, I got another mail notice from diversified ( a collection company which Hennepin Healthcare has contracted with), I called the number on the paper, they said we are collecting this money on behalf of Hennepin healthcare. Then I called their financial department, unfortunately an unprofessional lady has answered my phone call, she don’t know about the letter and I ask her why they didn’t send to me a notice before it goes to collection. I also asked her why they don’t tell me this when I was signing the payment plan but she was inept of all my asking. I decided to pay this one also to save my credit records and pay this unreasonable and unfair cost. Remember that I am still paying the auto payment which was on monthly basis. To that end, I am not recommend in this place to anyone who need for healthy assistance. Very unlikely.

They said my scan was covered only 45.00 copay gave them insurance they sent me a self pay bill for 200.00 when I called and gave them and reminded themmy Humana insurance info they rebilled and added a operating room charge which wasn't on first itemized bill. I called both my insurance and clinic two months before scan making sure I'd only have a 45 copay. My insurance company did a three way conversation and they said they'd fix it. The third itemized bill was a different amount. I took pictures of these and sent them to attorney general s office so they sent it to collections with even different amount s stating I only paid them 45.00 when I paid them 90.00. please report these types of things to attorney general and bbb if Minnesota and medicare fraudulent

I go see a doctor, they sent me a bill for what I owed. I gave them a call to set up a payment plan. Turns out they set up a payment plan for 6 payments of $45, when the actual number of payments should have been 7. So now it got sent to collections and it impacted my credit score. Grossly incompetent billing staff. Oh, and also, the desk lady asked whether I was born in the US. It made me greatly uncomfortable. She kept asking though, didnt seem to care.

I believe this is a fake hospital. They kept me tied here for 9 hours straight. I heard another man say he had been tied up for 18. They offered pills with no glives, didnt tell me what they were, no water, couldnt even use an iv correctly. I think someone i know has been trapped here and trafficked. The bathrooms were dirty.

I have been here in the Emergency Waiting for 6 1/2 hours. I have mentioned that I am in excruciating pain, I have been told repeatedly it’ll happen when it happens. I can’t leave because I can’t sleep or go to work in my condition. I don’t know how many more hours I’m going to be here.

Worst hospital ever. Do not go to the maternity unit here. Mean and rude staff, don't know what they're doing. They will not be able to advise new mothers anything as they're stingy with everything. Very poor service for such a big hospital

I was born here so it will always have a place in my heart, but don't go to HCMC for broken bones. I've been told nothing was broken, only to get a second opinion and have tons of broken ribs, vertebrae, shoulder.

Outrageously expensive. Do yourself a favor by avoiding this place.
