Edward Henry Pedris Grounds is a multipurpose stadium public ground and established in 1901. The ground is used especially for soccer and basketball matches. Further it is used for several entertainment events such as parties, carnivals, etc…. At present Colombo Municiple Counci has been started a project to renovate the ground including infrastructure facilities of the ground.

This placed was named after a young hero who was executed under colloneal rule. Henry Pedris was born in a rich Sinhalese family. He was a military officer and a good horseman. He was executed by british rulers for alleged incitement of race riots in 1915.Later this allegation was proved to be false.

Henry Pedris Grounds basketball court is a popular place for college as well as mercantile Basketball matches. Parking has to be done in the Isipathana Road or around the temple (Isipathanaramaya). It is named after a Governor in Sri Lanka during the colonial period.

A well known ground for many celebrations from school sports meets, to concerts, to annual office parties. This ground can easily accommodate a crowd more than 5000 easily.

It's good for school sports meets but lacks maintaining to a certain level. You need permission to use these grounds from the administration located there..

This ground now manage by Isipathana College. I am also a Isipathanian. I played football in my school days at here. There is basketball court also.

This is a soccer ground in colombo the facilities are in a neglected state . Ground it self is mostly rough clay so little dangerous to play on.

Good maintained groud. Its in a nice location surrounding with awesome buildings and a lake. But the ground outfield has less grass.

The ground is on very poor situation even there is no grass on the ground. But the basketball court in there is awesome.

This ground used to be in a excellent condition. due to poor maintenance this place is not safe for football anymore.

Visited the bar. Currently under construction. There service was great. We had a good time outside of the bar.

One of the few international standard basketball courts in Sri Lanka. HSC is maintaining it with good care

it is good nd situated in a convenient location, but the approach road to the car pack has to be done up.

There are two Henry Pediris Grounds in Colombo. This one in Colombo 5 is with minimal facilities
