I've been flying out of KHEG for a decade. It's a well-kept facility. They've made beneficial improvements to the FBO as well as making needed runway-related enhancements. The FBO staff ensures field operations are safe. Absolutely no complaints regarding the use of this facility.
Great little airport 3 minutes from the wife's family house. I knew they would be closed on Christmas so I called ahead and asked for the gate code. They were very friendly, I think the guy's name was Brian? They had ropes on the ground to
