"The most lovely park in Birmingham for wandering around and watching all aspects of nature"
This place is peaceful and close to nature, with a playground and lots of wildlife like birds and squirrels by the waterside. It's perfect for jogging, walking your dog, having picnics, and feeding the birds. Plus, there's a free car park. Just keep in mind, there are no toilets available.
Just a beautiful space, went to look for our wedding and it is CLOSING for refurb when we want it, which is heartbreaking as it's SO lovely, SO reasonably priced and staff are SO helpful. If you can work your dates around their refurb I highly recommend.
We walked here from Cannon Hill Park (see review) which took about 15mins. This Park is more of a parkland, there aren't flower beds, manicured areas, any children's playground or boating lake. The park is left to let nature take its course
Large park in South Birmingham between King's Heath and Moseley. Months in to lockdown now, it is looking more and more like the countryside than a city park. The grass is long and very little maintenance is happening at the moment. If you
The most lovely park in Birmingham for wandering around and watching all aspects of nature. Left to it's own devices it has become almost wild in lockdown but there is obviously some sort of maintenance going on as there are mown areas and
A wonderful park with spaces for many different activities. There are large open spaces not too far from the carpark suitable for group activities and games. If a nice walk is what you are after then there are multiple pathways which wind
Absolutely beautiful venue, what a gem! Who knew it was there tucked away! Very well kept, brimming with gorgeous features, fantastic place for a wedding and just has a really lovely feel - stunning but not stuffy. We played there at a
If you have dogs they'll love it... As will the 2 legged owners. Visited 2 consecutive days early November 2023 and autumn tree colours was lovely. Easy free parking... Grass was a bit boggy from the rain but worth it to reach loads of
Another nice place to walk around with kids and dog, just right behind Kings Heath and extension of holders lane park.. A pond and a big field good to round around. There's some construction going on just the back of Highbury Hall.
2 tours...the official one which only shows a few rooms and discusses Joseph Chamberlain and the family. Hidden tour is more interesting in a way. But go quick....place is shutting Jan 2024 for 2 years of work.
A wonderful park with a nice lake and lovely woods. It's large, quiet and clean. If you wish to relax it's suitable for sitting, walking and get some fresh air. Highly recommended.
Probably the best park in south Birmingham. The park is the grounds of a former country house, that was owned by the Chamberlin family, and left to the City of Birmingham.
I attended a conference type meeting here. The main hall is a beautiful historic space. The catering was excellent and the staff couldn't have been more helpful.
Excellent park with hard standing paths and plenty of grassed areas. There is large pond/pool of water, wooded areas and is perfect for walking my dog.
The staff was incredible and made my cousin's wedding a dream come true. The entire house was stunning and the grounds made for the best photos.
Great place. Quiet, clean and large enough to be a good walk. Feels safe and friendly too and never too busy from my experiences so far.
