Spiritual place with clean interior and nice benches, inspiring icons, bright windows and tall ceiling and welcoming people. There is a large hall attached to it with a kind of museum and a library. Unfortunately, unlike Residential heritage buildings down the hill on 11th Ave. the Holy Trinity Cathedral, which is a historic architecture in this neighbourhood, is not taken care of. Standing inside and looking up, you can tell that the original builders, with their effort did not finish painting/ornamenting the ceiling, with icons I mean, they ran out of resources perhaps. The ceiling needs to be restored, even painted with iconography to the full. Cathedral is the place of extol and praise of God Jesus Christ and it has to be beautified to the highest degree possible, including the surrounding streets, all the way to Broadway Ave and Main St intersection and beyond. The metallic roof of the Cathedral of Holy Trinity has to be washed and cared for to make it shine and stucco repaired on sides where it peeled off, rain gutters. At last new bronze toll bells should be cast and installed to match the beautiful entry door of the cathedral, which is more of a size of a gate. And the bowling/legion/pub building that was erected thereafter that extrudes a tall ugly back alley wall onto the cathedral side, should be dealt with in some way... at least cleaned and painted in Christian themed murals. God grant us these! ... Tall trees could be planted instead of the existing concrete fence to block off the back alley, as well as along the fence on the rear of the church to block off the neighbouring parking lot... Good night.

I worked the election there, not much to report. they offer holiday meals but this year, BC Bonnie will likely ban goodwill towards men unless they are so hungry they are coerced into jabbing.

A beautiful landmark church. Inside looks like heaven with the icons and candles. Highly recommended this neighbourhood Orthodox Church in the very heart of Mount Pleasant!

First Friday of the month, Perogy might and open to the public. Seems popular with the Hipsters in the area.

Any place that makes perogies and borshch and cabbage rolls deserves 5 stars. And a bake sale.

I feel absurd rating a church, but come on perogy night. You won't be disappointed.
