I always give Hometown Pizza great reviews and ask my family and friends to also because Hometown usually deserves it. I always order the same pizza and get what I order with no problem . I order several times a month. I love my pizza lol. All DOUBLE toppings. TONIGHT WAS DIFFERENT!!! I ordered for DELIVERY my usual. The order taker couldn’t get the toppings right, asking me to repeat it several times and forgetting what I had said. Then she asked me if I could PICK UP??? I asked why? I ordered for DELIVERY. She said it would be faster if I PICKED UP , 50 minutes for delivery. Again “ You want to PICK UP??? NO. Waited 1 hour. No problem. Wanted my usual pizza, I could wait. Same woman delivered the pizza. I paid cash, gave a $50. She didn’t have the proper change (was lucky I had the right amount), but I had to go get it. ** She said HURRY, my KIDS are IN the CAR**?!?!? REALLY?? My PIZZA was TOTALLY WRONG!! NO double anything. I paid for double everything, obviously not knowing the pizza was wrong when I paid. Even gave a tip. I TRIED CALLING the restaurant back but got NO answer over and over. I’m guessing the order taker/delivery woman/ working Mom (possible cook) had to take her kids home. Stuff happens. I get that but it shouldn’t affect the customers. I’m EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in the service I received tonight from Hometown Pizza.... I will call tomorrow and see what they have to say about this. I hope there’s a reasonable resolution to my issue with Hometown Pizza. I’ll let you know.

The single worst pizza experience I have ever had. We ordered two medium pizzas and upon opening them up they were both under-cooked so badly that we could pull up the dough and it would come up in strings. I have never seen a pizza so thoroughly uncooked before. The people I was with refused to eat the pizza so I called up to see what they would say. The woman on the phone immediately started yelling at me at a fevered pitch like I was a puppy who just peed on the carpet. She said her pizzas were never under-cooked and I could have asked to have it extra cooked if I didn't want it doughy. I told her that it was not even regularly cooked and no-one was willing to eat it. She told me that it was because of the veggies which caused moisture on the dough which didn't explain why the other pizza, devoid of any veggies, was just as bad. When I mentioned this the yelling was taken to new heights. I have not been yelled at like that for a couple decades so I decided whatever was going on in her life was not worth it for me to continue the conversation. I ended up firing up the oven and cooking both pizzas for a full 15 minutes extra. Will never go back. Do not recommend.

I would give it more stars if the food actually shows up. I was told 40min which I thought was long already when I'm 5min away drive. It been 1hour. Don't bother showing up because I'm not paying.. So after over an hour and 20min waiting it has finally arrived. When I already called back and said to cancel it 20min ago lol they obviously don't communicate with drivers. I was told driver left 30min ago and arrived 50min later when I live only "4MIN!!!"away wow. Second time calling and I don't remember getting my pizza the last time either. Hard to give it a try when your food doesn't arrive! Only reason I called is because SUPREME PIZZA was not open yet till 12pm. I would rather wait again. Rather than accept the food from hometown. Who know what the driver has been doing with for more than 30min on the road for a 4min destination lol wow OMG how is this place still operates. 10:45 I made the call from hometown. Canceled at 12pm and ordered from SUPREME instead. Its now 12:18 and im very hungry. Thanks hometown for not even offering me a discount

Many, many years ago, there was a pizza joint located in Champlain Heights called Hometown Pizza that we’d often grab takeout from. The mom and pop shop left the area and we eventually forgot all about them. Recently, we noticed a Hometown Pizza that was located on 57th Ave and Knight Street so we decided to drop by and see if it was in fact the same place. We didn’t see the former owner (guessing that ownership has changed hands over the years) but we did see a number of familiar items on the menu and decided to order the Factory Special pizza ($16.45 + $2 for added pineapple) which comes with ham, salami, pepperoni, mushrooms, olives, green peppers, cheese, and tomato sauce. Service was fairly quick and the pizza came out in about 10-15 minutes. The interior of this pizza place is actually quite spacious but it’s fairly stark inside and we almost thought the place wasn’t even open. In addition to their regular pizza, pasta, and chicken wing offerings, they also had some East Indian items on their menu as well.

Worst pizza place thus far. Food was cold, wings looked like they had been squished in a box for 24hours. The food looked nothing like in any of the pictures. And when I asked the business what they can do to help this situation, the lady repeatedly told me that there is nothing she can do to help their business at all. I would have preferred to give the food back. Very, very disappointing in not only the food, but the horribly poor customer service in regards. Unfortunately in order to write any review I had to give at least 1 star when in all honesty this does not deserve even a fragment of a star. Save your money, trust me. FYI, here is my reply to your reply. First off the pizza wasnt even eaten, we took part of it out to fit the wings next to it. And we shouldnt have to justify the picture at all. And I guess you agree with my review seeing how you did not even address much at all about what I was talking about, And if you stand behind your product so much then why such poor customer service?

I’m fairly disappointed at this place. We order here quite often actually almost every week. So we ordered the pizza for delivery today. And we didn’t get it for an hour. So We called to check estimate time. But when I asked, the guy over the phone was almost yelling at me, saying “ it will be there soon its on the way! delivery man went to your house but you didn’t open the door!” What??? Doesn’t make sense! We were waiting for the delivery, opening the door wide, but nobody came! Do Not make up the story! When the delivery man came, he said he had an issue on the way at other place! No communication among co-workers? , and the way you talked to me? Wow! I do not deserved to listen to your yelling. So as any customer! and when I opened the pizza box, surely the pizza was cold and hard. It totally ruined my appetite tonight. This was terrible experience. I don’t think we will order here again, so as all my friends around this neighbour.

Easily the best pizza in the area. I got pizza from here a few weeks ago on a whim and now every single day is filled with an intense realization that anytime after 10am I can easily walk down the street and buy a large pizza to eat by myself before my family finds out. It's becoming a serious problem because I want to lose weight but also there's pizza. If gyms were open I could just eat the pizza at the gym instead and then try to work off the fat but they aren't so instead I end up in the back alley shoveling yet another slice of chicken tikka down my gullet while whispering to myself like I'm some kind of pizza-fueled version of Smeagol/Gollum from Lord of the Rings. In fact I'm pretty sure if I saw a pizza from Hometown Pizza being tossed into the fiery pits of Mt Doom I'd attack those stupid fat hobbitses and then dive in after it. My precious pizza.

  • Satie Shottha

We got a veggie and Greek veggie pizza today. When I opened the box, it smell like dirty socks. I called to ask them why, they said, we didn't get it from them. Its from another pizza place. I tole them it was from their store and wanted to talk to the manager. She said, it was feta cheese. It wasn't fresh feta cheese. They used some rotten ingredient to make the pizza. Did anyone else order pizza on Friday June 18th and it smell like dirty shoe? Or they just made one special dirty shoe pizza for us? Owner is so rude. I just wanted to let them know that they are using rotten ingredient but she thought I wanted another pizza. That was not the point. I just wanted to make them aware that it was stinky and their other customers shouldn't have to waste their money but these people have no business sense and no customer service.

My first experience with this joint (previous owners) was over 25 years ago. Yes that's how long it's been. it was on 57th and Knight and in East Va was the go to place for delicious pizza. I remember telling the then owners, some italian guy, that they should diversify and add some indian food items, He did like that, saying the food is italian, eat italian. Look now, under new ownership they added indian food. How times change. Anyway, I ordered the factory special, noticing the menu is the same. Price is average, food is average, but the pizza was overly salty. Nothing to write home about, but the legendary pizzeria of the past is no more . I am grateful that there are independent places like this around still.

This pizza place serves acceptable pizza. It's not my favourite but everyone else that I work with absolutely love the food. In fact my work orders from them weekly. What puts them on top of others is there customer service which is absolutely top notch! They deliver to my workplace when I haven't found any of the chain places that will. You can ask them to be there at a certain time and they do their best to be there and rarely are late and if they are it's only a few minutes. They have all the typical pizza joint staples plus a few Indian dishes. I haven't tried any of the Indian food yet but I'm sure its good. Friendly staff. Remember to ask for napkins as they don't seem to include them otherwise.

  • Gunvir

I ordered 3 pizzas for 50$ and requested extra veggies on one of the pizzas and they said no problem. When I got the food I Barley saw any veggies on the pizza and just gave some friendly feed back on the phone. But the owner was far to rude and said you get what you pay for and we said that we didn’t mind paying extra but he said look at the menu next time we are regular customers. He should learn some respect and how to treat people who support his financial business. And we felt insulted And embarrassed because he didn’t mention the extra charge when we ordered. He is very rude and wouldn’t ever order from here again.

  • Steve Nipius

I cannot say enough good things about this pizza. First off greeted by a very friendly owner. I saw her punch in the very reasonable price on the Visa machine for the pizza and then click the no tip option before handing to me. Right there alone I was like wow, the reviews about the kindness for this place are true. Now the pizza, oh man it took me back 30 years to childhood of what pizza should taste like. To me this is hands down the best pizza if you like what pizza used to taste like before no topping places came along. We had the fire and the other with all the toppings, getting hungry thinking about it now!

  • Tom Chin

Been coming here for decades and they have never given in to cheaping out on ingredients! You can't beat Hometown quality. Easy test is the tomato sauce - rich and flavourful! Always trying new recipes/combos too. Something for every appetite. Service always friendly, kind, and fast. Quick on the delivery too! Have to update - Feb 2021: Last pizza left a lot to be desired. Not as much topping, and tasted quite bland - a simple Hawaiian but didn't have much of anything. Hope this is a one-off...previously ranked 5/5 stars, but taking 2 stars off for now....Covid cost cutting? Hope this one was just a mistake....

  • Kirti Kumari

Owner or the server who serves at counter knows only how to argue. First learn customer service and then learn how to make pizza. Burnt is not called well done. First of all he don't know how to talk to customer, how to deal with them. Customer service includes down to earth attitude not the arguments. Yes you have right to stand by right side but it doesn't mean to hide your mistakes. So lazy people. If you are done with your work, if you don't want to work more. Close your shop at least don't serve wrong unhealthy pizza. And stop doing arguments. And Learn customer service n pizza. Good luck.

Sorry for the late review, it has been a busy past couple months. If you are ever looking for a delicious, fast and very friendly pizza for any type of craving throughout the day this is the place to be. I have almost tried every pizza on their menu, and each one has its one unique flavor that always keeps me coming back. The prices are fair and decent, and customer service is always exceptional. My dad is close to the owners, and the family that works here always puts their heart and soul into each pizza made. Hands down one of the best pizza places in Vancouver, a must have for any occasion.

  • Jacob Gagnon

This place has been my family’s best pizza joint over the years! I rate this place 5 stars because it’s homemade and the owners are very friendly. Very welcoming and always smiling when greeting customers. I highly recommend this place for one of the best pizza places to enjoy a delicious homemade pizza! Furthermore, it only takes 15mins wait to pick up your pizza or they will personally send a driver to deliver it to your house. Finally, you can get 2 free pops when you get 2 large pizzas. On top of that, it is entirely handmade from scratch with all natural products and real cheese!!!

  • Gang Gang

This place is the best best pizza place in the Vancouver with a diverse variety of toppings and pizza styles. Omg!!! All the sauces the are home-made and the pizza is made with love and care taking the costumer satisfaction into consideration. The best pizzas are the chicken tikka and the hometown special. They also serve some Indian snacks like fish pakora and pakoda with homemade chutneys along with British snacks like fish and chips and hot wings in all the flavours which are so delicious. It is my favourite pizza place,,,, must go and visit this place folks!!!

  • XLR -8

Hometown pizza is one of the best pizza stores in Vancouver….especially their unique greek recipes make the pizzas yummiest…must try their non-veg pizza collections…and for Indian twist just go for shahi paneer pizza range….best in taste and hospitality!!

Premium quality pizza in Vancouver with prompt and friendly service. They recently relocated from Knight Steet to 51st and Fraser, and continued with the excellent quality of pizza, fish & chips, fish pakoda (cod), chicken wings, and various pasta dishes. Hometown Pizza has been our top choice for pizza for over 20 years. It's a family-run business where the owners take great pride and passion in providing the best quality and tasting food in Vancouver. Drop in and say "hi" to Laddi and his brother. Highly recommended!

  • Tony Lee

Long time observer, first time buyer. Have known about Hometown since they were at their old location at 57th and Knight. Recently tried their pizza for the first time and it was a hit. The hometown special was gooooood and so too was the all meat. Have not tried any of the Indian-style pizzas yet but they are on the hit list. Spoke for some time with one of the owners Laddi and he was incredibly friendly and hospitable - the kind of place you want to go to for that familiar comfort food. We will be repeat customers.

  • John Lee

Stopped in to meet a client close by who ordered take out, so I ended up doing the same. Ther were so many to choose from but Went with The Flame which was highly recommended by the friendly owner. Ended up eating it there while it was hot. First bite was incredible, the toppings tasted fresh, it was nice and cheesy and the crust had a beautiful crunch. Reminded me of that old school Greek pizza.....not too greasy. Took the leftovers home and my kids devoured it. Will definitely be ordering from there again!!!

  • Gk Kaur

They give me burnt pizza and they said we serve it like that. The whole crust was burnt. I asked them to exchange it or give me another one. But they said No. the man over their was not even know what the pizza is. Don’t come here if you want pizza. If you want burnt crust come here 1000 times or if you wanna waste tour money and time you are most welcome. Learn how to make pizza. I also worked at pizza store at least i am not stupid i know the difference between burnt or well done.

  • Mike Kennedy

The food is very good. Order for delivery or pickup as they are not we'll set up for eating in. Fish and chips are great. The batter is light and the fries are good yet unseasoned. The tartar sauce is very good and it comes with a slice of lemon, all wrapped up old school in paper. The chicken wings are also quite flavourful. Don't order just pasta. Try the pasta as part of a combo as the sauce is not for everyone. After that if you like it then you can order it as an entrepreneur.

  • John Doe

Pizza is usually good. I've ordered about 4-5 times before and always the same pizza, paneer special. However, this time I got a pizza with burnt paneer on top. I called back saying that the paneer was burnt and I was told "its always like that". I explained that it wasn't like that previously and they said "not much we cant do about it now, we can offer you 15% discount next time". 15% discount for a $20 pizza with burnt paneer?? Wont be ordering from here again.

  • Cherry Fernando

I highly recommend this pizza place, i’ve been ordering my creamy chicken pizza for 5 yrs here even i have moved to different cities, moved to burnaby and richmond and i still order from them, i’ve tried other pizza place but hometown is the best of all, staff are friendly too. :) Update!! Went back and there creamy chicken is salty! Please reduce your sodium! Its too salty! Since there is cheese on top of the pizza, maybe reduce the salt in your white sauce.

  • Kiran Cheema

0 stars. We ordered one tandoori pizza with extra ginger and cilantro. When the pizza arrived, there was absolutely NO ginger or cilantro, and it was not even the right flavour. When we called the place back, the woman said they ran out of both. They didn’t call us, but decided for us what we would eat tonight for dinner. Both times the delivery person was not wearing a mask or gloves. He did not even stay outside our door, he actually entered our home.

  • Ley U.

Just received the pizza and pasta, the nastiest ive eaten. Please, do yourself a huge favor and stay away from this store. I'm all about supporting local business but the food is not eatable. The pizza smells and the pasta is watery. This is the first time in my life i've thrown food away cuz I couldn't even swallow it. You can fool a customer once but not twice. I should've of have went back and asked for my money back Never again - customers beware.

  • Mentality Palen

Not the best pizza I’ve had in my entire life, but it’s good pizza. Absolutely nothing wrong with it, so I don’t really understand the few bad reviews I saw. Probably just miserable people. The people working there smiled, and were very friendly to me. Seem like good people. I had forgotten to buy a dip when I paid for the pizza before hand, and they gave me a free one when I offered to pay for the dip, and said don’t worry about it. Good service.

  • jason lal

Ordered 2 flame pizza got it delivered. Went to eat it and it was so hot that my mouth was burning. Called back to complain and that's where it went wrong. The staff won't give name and said that they will do me a favor and give me 1 pizza. I asked well I ordered 2 and the result was we are doing you a favor. Seems like the staff and owners don't care i would go to Supreme pizza. At least the are honrable and they care about there customers

  • Anuj Vij

Ordered pizza for delivery . One was a medium veggie and the other a large chicken . Pizza was decent though prices are high . Crust was light and fluffy so high marks for that . Value for money is on the low side.

Best pizza I’ve had in Vancouver by a mile! I used to live in Montreal and this is up there in the best pizza I’ve had period. Their sauce is fantastic, seriously their sauce makes the pizza. Their dough is also amazing, really light and fluffy, almost like a pan pizza. They use real bacon, not the fake stuff you get from the chain places. They’re a bit light on the cheese so I recommend getting extra cheese. Highly recommend these guys!

  • Amy McMillin

Good service and friendly staff, but the pizza was below average, if I'm being honest. I ordered a pizza with pepperoni, got ham instead of pepperoni. Crust was thick and doughy, sauce was ok. It wasn't totally awful or inedible, but I wouldn't use the word "good" to describe it. That all said, the staff were very nice, so I feel kind of bad giving it two stars, but the bottom line is I wouldn't go there again.

  • Stephen Rexroth

Came up to Vancouver this weekend with my fiancé and some friends for the marathon. After the race I was craving some pizza so we gave this place a try. Great choice! That is some of the best crust I’ve ever had, light, airy, and super crispy despite not being overly thing, and the toppings were good too. The owners were really friendly and the pizza delicious! Awesome post-race pie!! Highly recommend

  • Jagjeet Gill

Have been ordering at this location for 5+ years now. All of a sudden, they increased their prices. When I called them on it, I was told "this has always been our prices." Our credit card statements say otherwise. All they had to do was say "the prices of our food have increased recently." But, they continued to insist I was in the wrong. We are now on the search for a new pizza joint.

Have been ordering from hometown pizza since my teenage years (late 70's - early 80's) Never once did I have a bad experience with ordering in person or over the phone. The people are very nice and polite and the food has always been good. From the days when hometown was where the McDonalds now sits, to its new location across the street, I always have liked these people and the food I get from them. :)

  • Amairis Wong

My family often go's here after swimming and it's an enjoyable time together and the food is great! This is the only pizza that doesn't make my mom sick. And the price is very affordable and this restaurant is a family place to enjoy eating. The people who work here are very friendly and give back to the community as well. My over all rate is 5 stars, I think this is the best pizza in town.

  • Craig Robichaud

Pizza tasted delicious, but the dough in the center is uncooked. I called and was told that's how they cook it, and if I don't like it then order it more well done. That is the wrong answer and there won't be a next time, if this is your idea of customer service. Terrible. Update: called again and they are taking care of me next time. Pizza IS delicious, so bumping up to 4 stars.

  • Goomba Goomba

So my friend and I ordered the special #7. Pros: salad was good. Seemed fresh. Ribs were really good. Good flavor and fall off the bone ribs. Lasagna was ok. Veggie one lacked veggies. The beef one was generic as all other places. Cons: pizza was 2 star. Lacked flavor. This place did not let us split the bill. We do not reccomend eating in. 2 tables only. No bathroom either.

  • Justin Chee

The price of the pizza was on the more expensive side, but with the high reviews, my friends and I had thought it'd be justified. It wasn't. The toppings were scarce, the flavouring was average at best, and the crust was soggy. I should have dug deeper into the reviews, as now I see that many of the 5 star ratings are from people that have "1 review". I would not recommend.

  • Jaskaran Janda

Great Staff and hospitality , they provide a great selection of pizzas and sides. Frequent customers, and have recommended it to several colleagues. They provide a variety of food from pakoras to pizzas, this gives us convenience, since we can grab everything from one place. Would recommend to anyone wanting try pizza and Indian cuisine in the Greater Vancouver region.

  • Gladys Swedak

Since we found Hometown Pizza a number of years ago at Knight and 54 we have returned again and again. It has never disappointed us. We get what we order and it is always delicious and warm. We will follow them where ever they go. It is nice that they deliver too but even if they didn't we would find them and go and pick up as we did before we learned they deliver.

  • Manny Nanara

This place makes.the best tasting and looking pizza. We ordered 2 pizzas, and one of them wasn't the correct one. I guess it got mixed up in delivery, the owner told me he was making my pizza and bringing it over asap. The owner said it was a delivery error and the pizza that wasn't mine I could keep. This place is awesome, always great taste and quick delivery.

  • Kaitlin Oriecuia

I frequently order from Hometown Pizza for my work crew - even with short notice they always provide the tastiest pizzas and deliver just on time! Pizza tastes like it is made with fresh ingredients and is always delivered hot. I have only experienced great service from this restaurant. Will continue to order from them and will recommend them to my friends.

Its amazing, so so so good staff, they listen to you properly, and understand and even explain the things we didnt know about their menu. Our order was taken by Ravdeep, she was so calm and patient when taking our order and solved all our queries with a great understanding. It was a great experience, looking forwards to more and more visits.

  • Meg Murray (Thrumiiis)

I don't order pizza very often and was despairing of finding a place in the neighbourhood that served good ones. Found Hometown and thought to give it a try. Yay! It was good! Price was great, service delivery was very friendly and I've never found ginger as a topping before but they had it which perked up a vegetarian pizza wonderfully. :)

  • Friend

I got a butter chicken pizza with no green pepper because I'm allergic, they come two hours late with a lukewarm pizza- I don't even live 20 minutes away from their location. I payed full price and all to find that they still got my order wrong. I gave the pizza to my brother, at least he seemed to enjoy it. Sub-par service, mediocre food.

  • Rana Mand

I love your guys pizza. It’s very good. It’s one of the best pizza I have ever tried. Plus ur Indian food are super yummy and good. The people who work their are really nice and serve fresh and tasty food. I love going with my friends and family to this place and this is probably my go to pizza. Thank you for the really good pizza.

  • Inder Grewal

It is a family run business that strives on making quality food at a reaaonable price. My favourite is the veggie pizza, ABC pizza and fish pakora. I have ordered from here for over a decade and will continue to do so. I defiantly recommend everyone to try the amazing food and experience the great customer service. 5 stars!!

  • Romeo Bui

Once we discovered Hometown Pizza, we don't go anywhere else! Their menu is awesome and has a lot of unique flavours of pizza. Their sauce has a lot of flavour and doesn't just taste like tomato sauce out of a can. Their wings are awesome too. Laddi and the rest of the staff there give excellent service. Highly recommended!

  • Katrii Sutherland

I love pizza and have ordered a lot in my life... hometown has always been my favorite. Ive ordered from here for years and recently I moved away but I still make the drive to get some pizza from Hometown. The sauce is top notch and they pile on the toppings. The owners are super nice too, such a great place. 5/5!!!

  • Daniel Gore

"Like Supreme Pizza but worse". Basically $18 chunks of soggy bread. Crust was thick and 95% of the pizza. Barely any toppings. We ordered the Chicken Special and the Italian Special - in the former I think I counted 4 thin slices of pepper. Bread was almost soggy. We definitely won't be ordering from here again.

  • Mariah I

Great food, shifty delivery guy. Tipped the driver online with justeat a reasonable amount. When my bf went out to pay for the food he slipped in another 10% on top of that, and had already skipped through the tip screen so it was pulled up on the pin screen. Would willingly pick up but never get delivery again.

  • Amardeep Sidhu

WORST PIZZA IN VANCOUVER, Don’t waste your money. If there was zero star rating I would give it. The pizza arrived cold and tasted like it was a day old, it had no flavour whatsoever, and the veggie toppings were Nowhere to be found, When i called back to complain , the male owner was rude and disrespectful.

  • Guess G

Wow, what amazing service, not only was the pizza soo good and obviously made from scratch, i asked if they could make a heart shaped pizza, boom! They did it, so affordable so delicious, honestly my new pizza place. Small family owned and 100× better than any dominos. Definitely grab a pizza from these guys

  • kelly rai

Absolutely the best pizza i have ever had! ! We are from Alberta and whenever we come to Vancouver this is what we really look forward to:) my new favorite is the butter chicken and naan bread..mouth watering and full of flavour... It is very hard to find great pizza and great service now a days but at Hometown Pizza they have both, Great tasting pizza and priceless customer service! .They very good and cooperative. This is one of our favorite place to order pizza for all our meetings. Worth to give it a try ! Keep up the great work!

This place has the best pizza and prawns. One of my favourite pizzas is the all meat, and the ABC. Its a Great price and comes real fast when ordered for delivery. The owner is a great man, a very nice guy. The food has never let me down it is always delicious. Im giving hometown pizza a 5/5 !!!

  • Narayan17

They used to be good, now they slacked off and lost a step. Lady on the phone taking the order was very lippy when we asked her about putting some shrimp and oysters on a bbq chicken pizza. I’ll take my business elsewhere..customers you are better off ordering from Supreme Pizza or Canan pizza.

  • JJ Klaus

The pizza is fantastic! Top notch ingredients and the crust is something you will want to eat. Local family owned pizza and has been in business for 39 years! You don’t stay in business for that long without having a great product and amazing service. Truly the kindest people you will meet.

Fast fresh and delicious...I live in a motorhome and they trusted me to deliver it to a non address . The toppings are plentiful and the price point is perfect .I will definitely order another 14" butter chicken pizza for $19 delivered. The delivery guy was also very friendly and polite

  • Jake B

Confused by positive reviews. Ordered the butter chicken pizza, found it to be very bland.freshslice is better. also had "clumps of onion" scattered inconsistently, even found a large flat peice. Who wants to eat that. Clearly whoever made my pizza put zero effort and care into it.

  • Bobby

This place is designed for delivery or pick up, as the tables and chairs are all covered in dust. Ordered fish and chips and it was one of the best fish and chips I have ever had. Two big big pieces of fish will fill you up rather quickly. Heard they have good indian pizzas too.

  • Sunny Denison

First time eating here. I ordered the Shahi Paneer pizza. (I swapped out the green peppers with banana peppers for a little heat) SO freaking good!! Best pizza I’ve had in a long time. Was made quickly and I think it was reasonably priced. Highly recommend trying it out. …

Amazing - hands down the best pizza in town! Definitely been mine and my family’s go to place since I was little and we have always used Hometown for big party orders. Not only does the pizza taste incredible but they have a very friendly staff and a high calibre of service.

  • Rhys Davies

Great slice of pizza (butter chicken) was delicious. Added bonus to be able to order delivery from them directly, without having to go through a third party app! Having ordered some more food I am dropping this review to 4 stars. The side dishes have room to improve.

I've never felt such a warm welcoming from any other but Hometown Pizza. When the male business owner (bless the man) asked how my weekend was. I had mentioned it was my birthday this man gave me such a warm blessing. Extraordinary customer service, and killer pizza!

  • pigly wigly

Delivery was good and fast but my pizza was not fully cooked the meat they used was off putting the sauce was good the cheese was good but not the meat and the sticky doe was not good if it was properly made it would have been great but not this time …

Recently moved into the neighborhood and was delighted to discover Hometown Pizza. I can't believe they've been around since the 80s. Great pizza, great service, really friendly staff, I can see why they have been around for so long. Highly recommend it.

  • Harvinder Sandhu

I've been ordering from this place for years. Even after new ownership this place continues to make great pizza and other dishes like lasagna. I can always count on it to be fresh and cooked just the way I want it. Also they have a super friendly staff!

  • Archana Vallala

One of the finest pizza’s I’ve ever had . Their dough and sauce is so good. My personal favourite is creamy chicken (Alfredo ) . Don’t miss it out. Coming to the crust it’s crispy and well done .

I decided to order from here after living in South Van for a while. Sad to say, I was very dissapointed as the pizza was raw and the dough was uncooked. I'm not here to say anything bad about the place but just want to be honest and say, I

  • Jaskaran Boparai

Pizza was amazing. From the dough to the freshly chopped toppings, everything was just in the right quantity and pizza was very well baked. My favourite is the chicken tikka pizza, the sauce they use for that was so flavourful and they

  • Austin Chen

Food was mediocre. Pizza was soggy on the bottom even though picked up immediately (waited for it to come out of the oven). Crust was not fully cooked throughout and top of pizza dough was raw. Had to reheat the crust separately to eat

  • D'Alice Marsh

Have been ordering from here for years. And will continue to do so. Pizzas are great; just enough grease for us without being overly greasy. Great service too! Super friendly woman on the phone and the delivery driver is always great.

  • Natalie Warren

Such good lasagna, the Greek salad has WAY to many onions and the size they cut them is MASSIVE. If they changed that & made there other veggies fatter and not so thin, it'd be great.

My favorite pizza and lasagna is from Hometown and it's incredible every time. Service is great. Staff is very kind. My family and I live close by multiple pizza places but go out of our way just for Hometown. Highly recommend.

Delivery is fast. The pizza is really good. I love that they were able to help accommodate smaller personal pizzas for my work trainees during Covid (when picking slices isn't viable). This is my go to pizza shop in the area.

Hands down. Best damn Pizzas I've had so far in Vancouver. Soft & fluffy dough, the perfect amount of sauce and melty cheese with tasty toppings. There's a reason why they called Hometown. You keep coming back. …

  • pratpal gill

This is our-go to pizza place because they customize the pizza just how we like it. Also, great delivery service. It's a family run pizza place so the owner usually delivers fast and always has a positive attitude

I don't like a lot of grease on my pizzas so Hometown Pizza is great for that! I'm never disappointed whenever I order - the food is delicious. People are friendly too. Overall, a true pizza joint.
