If i could give 0 stars I would. My stay at this hotel was chaotic to say the least. I booked a suite through booking and when I arrived there I was told they didn’t have anymore suites they only had studio rooms which was fine I guess, I took the room because it had the same number of beds as the room type that I originally wanted. I was staying at this hotel for my birthday so once we checked in I set up the room nicely with decorations for my birthday. We left the room to go for dinner and when we returned my key card wasn’t working so I couldn’t get back into my room. That’s when it took what felt like hours for them to keep trying different cards only to realize that the card wasn’t the problem the door just wasn’t opening so here I am in my birthday dinner outfit stuck outside of the room where all my clothes were in and my decorations. That’s when they told me that I wouldn’t be able to get back into my room and I would have to stay in another room for the night because one of the employees left with the master key. COMPLETELY inconvenient. They gave me a complimentary bottle of wine and they extended our checkout time to 2 o’clock but that didn’t make up for the discomfort that I endured staying here. I won’t be coming back and on top of this mess I did not receive a refund !! I payed for a room I never slept in. They gave me room with 1 bed when I payed for 2 beds and a pullout bed. I’m disappointed in homewood suites.

The building itself is very nice. Although the service on the front end was good every time, I have a problem whenever I walk into the building and no one is there or I have to wait or I have to leave altogether. I never got any ice while there because the ice machine wasn't working. The rooms are very nice and different from what you might normally get from a hotel. I loved walking into my room with the television greeting me by name--nice touch! The worst thing for me was the fact that my bed smelled of other people! The sheets are clean, but the top blanket smelled nasty. Hotels need to return to washing linens everytime guests have departed. This is unacceptable and is a deal-breaker. The breakfast bar was simple but good. The hotel price was good, also. On the whole, I liked the place, but there are things that could/must be improved.

Traveling with two adults and four kids, I booked our stay in advance and confirmed our stay with mobile check-in the day prior. I booked and confirmed connected rooms (105&107), but upon check-in to the property, was told that 1 of the 2 rooms that I reserved was given away. There was a debate on whether I would be charged a cancellation fee for the room that was given away even though this was no fault of my own. Was offered a second room on the 4th floor. My kids are under the age of 12 and they wanted to separate us by three floors. When I requested that they make it right, was told that they were sorry and there was nothing they could do. I called corporate to voice my grief, and I was told that someone from property management would contact me, but that never happened. My family of 6 stayed in a two queen bedroom, where I ultimately had to sleep on the floor. Worst hotel experience since being a hhonors member since 2006, Gold status. As a United States Marine, I have slept in far worse conditions, but not in instances in which I was a paying customer.

Beautiful hotel and location were great. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. We were greeted with a warm welcome. Our room was lovely. I loved the high ceilings. Overall the room was clean, but I noticed a lot of hair in the carpet throughout the room. The ice machine was out on the first floor so I had to go up to the second floor. That was a slight inconvenience. The pool and grill area were nice and clean. Grill accessories are at the front desk if you need them as well as a basketball for the sports court. First time I have see a hotel with a basketball court. Not regulation but big enough to shoot around. I would revisit this hotel because of my overall experience and price.

Beautiful facilities, however, the hotel decided to throw their staff Christmas party the night we stayed. Beginning at 9 the music, from the lobby, began to thump. With an early morning, we were trying to sleep. We called the front desk where they told us what was happening and that it would end at 10:30. There was no offer to turn the music down. Understand, we were on the third floor. The music was that loud. At 11:00 my wife called the front desk and was told it was ending soon. My family paid for a room where we could relax and rest for a big travel day and we couldn't go to bed until after 11:15. I am all for the staff having their Christmas party, but turn the music down and respect your paying guests. I do not recommend this place to anyone. When the customer's, who is paying for the hotels service, needs are not being met, first, before the staff Christmas party that says it all. It is apparent that this hotel has a very different idea of what quality customer service is. Avoid them if you can.

If I could give this place less I would. my family of 6 two adults four kids (11,9,7,6) checked in a room with two queen beds and a pull out sofa. The pull out was broken and un sleepable. I stood at the front desk for 15 mins before someone showed up to help. Just to be told there was nothing they could do for me. Not a room or cot available. After driving 8 hours two of us had to sleep on the floor to wake up the next morning to drive another 10 hours. I did call the corporate office and they insured this would be taken care of. That it wasn't fair to myself or my kids to not have a place to sleep. When I went to check out I told the woman at the front desk. She was very rude and said well you needed two rooms that's why. Or four could have slept on a bed. I told her I called corporate and she said rudely under her breath good they can handle it. Also the shower leaked bad. I paid a lot of money to stay one night. Looks can be deceiving.

The place was ok. Breakfast staff were helpful and friendly. Room was good too…but the front desk lady. She was something. Unwilling to help is not the word. She had this grumpy face when we checked in and didn’t even greet us. She made us wait for 15mins and then went inside and disappeared. She finally emerged and said it would take a while. When we asked how much longer it would take she gave us a weird reply about our loyalty number having issues. I said to her never mind the points, just please give us a room so we can go rest. Lots of room for improvement for management to take note. Nothing wrong in hiring young ppl with attitude, but please train them to be courteous and half helpful PLEASE!! We really missed the previous young lady who may not be working here anymore. With this kind of attitude to customer service, we’ll find another place to stay the next time we visit, which is ever so often.

Great location and nice studio suite. I was unable to enjoy my stay because the person above me was loud the entire evening and early morning. The one front desk employee was working alone handling the front desk and a large wedding party. At check-in, I was standing at the front desk for a long time because he was assisting the party. He was amazing but unable to handle everything. Management should definitely have more than one person working the front desk when hosting large events and on holiday weekends. The amazing employee was not able to handle the front desk to answer my phone calls to report the noise complaints because he was being pulled in multiple directions. I decided to call the district manager to let her know what I experienced, she still has not returned my call which shows how much she cares about complaints and her employees.

Noteworthy details
The only thing we did not appreciate is that the BBQ's and BBQ utensils were not clean. Each time we got the set from the front desk (2×) we had to wash it before using it. This is because guests don't clean up after themselves. The staff should remind guests that it is their responsibility to clean up after themselves and that when the utensils are returned, check to make sure. We washed the utensils and cleaned the BBQ before and after each use.

Absolutely amazing stay! We came up for a weekend and it was the most restful night's sleep. We were immediately provided extra towels when requested. The breakfast selections were delicious. So I forgot my wedding ring in the room and didn't realize I didn't have it until we had made it home 4 hours later. I called in the morning and the receptionist I spoke with stated she would ask the head of housekeeping. I got a call about 2 hours later and they found my ring! They could have easily kept it but they didn't and I absolutely appreciate that. It's hard to find honest people this day and age but I can say there are honest folks at this amazing hotel! If we ever come to Charlotte again, this is the only place we're staying!

I stayed here 09/2022. The hotel was very clean, breakfast was descent, and customer service was good. However, I checked out on a Monday and that night I discovered tiny bumps all around my ankles. I don't THINK it was bed bugs. However, I did see these very very tiny black bugs on the table and couch. I even saw 2 on my foot. I told the front desk about it, but they didn't seem to concerned. She said she would tell maintenance but nobody came while I was there. A few days later, I find out that the other person in the room with me got the same tiny bites that look like pimples. Also, another person in the room next door got small bites too. I think the bites may be chiggers or fleas or something. If you sit on the couch be sure to lay a white blanket down so you can see anything crawling!

It was positive experience after positive experience! Somehow I accidentally booked a room with one bed instead of two. All the rooms with two beds were booked up the first night but they accommodated us the next day with a room with two beds even though it was my fault. When we walked in the room they had a welcome message on the TV with my name which was a nice touch. I also recieved a text asking how my room was which was actually from a real person that I texted back and forth with for a moment which was another small thing that made a big impact. Breakfast was great and the lady maintaining the breakfast area was very sweet! This was a great all around experience actually the best hotel experience I've ever had!

We were in town as I was on a business trip and we stayed here for 2 weeks and we had nothing but a great stay from beginning to end. The place is located in a really nice area with plenty of grocery stores and nice restaurants a short distance from the property. It is well lit with plenty of parking and the rooms were nice and comfortable. You can't beat having a full size fridge, microwave and cook top so you don't have to go out to eat all the time. The front desk staff was really friendly and accommodating any time that we needed anything. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again should we be back in the Charlotte area.

Very nice hotel and rooms. The breakfast was okay (eggs were terrible). Very convenient location. If you stay try and get a second floor room. There is zero sound dampening between the first and second floor. We heard constant noise from the room upstairs until late in the evening. There were several people from our family staying here, so moving our room was not an option for us. The staff was professional and helpful.

I would give this hotel 5 stars because the room itself was the best I've ever stayed in. Super spacious, clean, full kitchen, comfortable, etc. My only issue was my digital key never worked the whole time I was there. I had to get an actual key card to get in and out of my room and that stopped working too. I notified the front desk and the issue never got resolved, so I had to get one of the cleaning staff to let me into my room so I could get my belongings to check out. Aside from that inconvenience, I would absolutely stay here again because I loved my room so much and the location is perfect. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby and/or within walking distance.

Loved it here! Enjoyed having a kitchen and a lot of space during my stay… the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff members were polite and helpful overall. The front desk rep there on weeknights gave me great food recommendations (my fave was Viva Chicken, only a 1-2 minute walk from the hotel). There were plenty of restaurants in the area outside of the hotel, and despite many rooms being occupied, the overall tone was fairly peaceful/quiet. Breakfast was the normal Hilton affair, and (though I didn’t use it) they also had a decent outdoor pool and basketball court. Overall, this was a great place to stay.

This hotel was excellent! I will be checking out this morning after staying for a rough 10 day stay while my mom was at Atrium Health Pineville getting open heart surgery. The staff at Homewood Suites made my stay infinitely easier than it would have been as they were so nice, made sure I had everything I needed, and even asked about my mom every day. The food was excellent and the hotel was great! I would like to particularly give thanks to Celeste, Tyler, and Vivian for how great they were to me. They were excellent and I highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in the area.

We found this hotel for our 3rd wedding anniversary and I’m so glad that we did. Very clean and well ran hotel. I didn’t like the man at the check in. Our room was unbelievable. I loved it and the decor was awesome! The housekeepers know how to clean very well! They cleaned our room each day. We didn’t do breakfast. The social hour was completely horrible. I loved that I didn’t have to contact front desk at all about digital key. The only problem that we had was with the hot water. They offered to move us immediately but it took the hot water a little time to heat up. This hotel is the best if you’re looking for restaurants and relaxation in walking distance.

This was a nice hotel! The bathrooms were stocked with lotion, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap that was connected to the wall. Which all had a nice pleasant smell. The room was nice and cozy and the perfect size. Our maids washed our dishes and brought towels without us asking. The only think I didn't like was, getting off the elevator on the 3rd floor was a trash can that smelled pretty foul smelling for a couple of days. But I definitely would recommend this hotel for a week/weekend getaway.

Absolutely horrible place. We had reservations for adjoining rooms (you know the one they have commercials about making fun of other hotels?). What do you know - not available. We have children and the sole purpose for booking this hotel was because of the guaranteed adjoining room. What is their solution? Oh, here’s a room down the hall. That’s it. How about a manager? Oh no, the manager isn’t in today. So if you are booking this place with the intention of sharing adjoining rooms then don’t. Because even a guarantee means nothing. But don’t try to cancel your reservation because that’s against the policy! So, they screw you both ways.

Hotel room was clean when we first arrived. Everything was in tip too shape.. however, housekeeping never checks in on you and see if you need anything for your room. You have to go downstairs to get your things. We left for most of the day and came back to our room still how we left it. Had a half roll of paper towels and a half roll of tissue in the bathroom when we first arrived. If anything had to be improved about this hotel, it would definitely have to be the housekeeping. Other than that.. it’s great.

Chose to stay here for about 2 weeks due to a move. Front desk people were nice, even with COVID, breakfast should be something more than sugar, hot coffee in the morning would be good too. Saturday at 10a, coffee was old and cold. The elevator smelled heavily of marijuana one day and we listened to basketball outside the window from 9p until 1130pm. Kitchen was not well stocked. Room was clean, good location. We expected more from a Hilton property. If we can find other accommodations we will not be back.

Excellent !!! I received the best customer service from the hotel receptionist her name was Roxie. She was great she took care of us. She took time to research which wrong with bad situation our needs and gave us a room that would accommodate our family. we really appreciate her efforts and making sure that we were happy and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. The lobby was decorated very nicely with Christmas decorations and the fireplace was roaring it so it really was welcomed me and very clean, up to date and the furniture is in great condition at this hotel

I had an excellent experience, Brooke greeted us and was so sweet and helpful, the kitchen staff were also incredible helpful and kind. The room was very big and clean, I traveled with my 3 kids and husband and we were very comfortable the only thing I wish they had was another dresser, and more hangers in the closet, and a broom or vacuum but that’s me being picky because I had so much stuff! But it was so great! Thank you for making our trip so great!

Seeing that we were with a rowdy bunch of boys for a hockey tournament Isaac found a way to make all the kids feel special and the parents feel welcomed knowing our kids are terrors. I arrived a few minutes early to get check in right away at check in time but my room as not ready. It appears that house keeping bypass I few duties also. Bathroom was filthy. Foul smell was in the room that just would not leave. Personally this is my first bad experience with this hotel over all. I dealt with some out issue but after being on the road for 12 hours you just want to rest. Also what I find strange is these queen size suite are really full size bed according to measurement which did not help in getting a good night sleep

Room was very clean and had good amenities. Team members very friendly. Lobby and pool area very nice. I liked the "Beer Bar" - you get 12 seconds once you tap your $10 card to fill a cup with either beer or wine. I got a full Solo cup of wine in that 12 seconds. Breakfast is a little boring -the usual stuff, nothing special. Very good location - walking distance to several restaurants and shops, close to highway. Will definitely stay here again for my next business trip.

Wonderful, comfortable hotel to stay. Breakfast was good and everything was convenient. My only complaint was Sunday morning room service walked in our room twice to clean , one at 9 am and another at 10:30, knocked again around 11ish then someone called around 12:15 asking when we were checking out. I mentioned we had late checkout and she said "oh, I see it here". We had called the evening prior to get late checkout at 1 so this was annoying as we wanted to sleep in Sunday morning and obviously couldn't.

The breakfast is first-rate compared to other hotels of have stayed in the rooms, a nice and clean. The staff is very nice . The parking lot is will lit. Very close to restaurants. The stay here was good. The bed is comfortable and the room was very clean. The people at the front desk are helpful. The Hotel is situated in a plaza with a few restaurants within walking distance. The breakfast choices they offer is just okay not great. There evening social was not happening due to covid. I was disappointed because I recently stayed at another Hilton hotel and they had the evening social in Charlotte. Overall I would reccomend this Hotel

On of my favorites properties to stay at! It was only a night stay but a great stay mone the less. My a/c wasn't working properly at first, front desk was able to send maintenance up quick and the problem was fixed just as fast. No attitude(s) all can do all around. A GREAT stay ❤️

It looks nice and neat. Friendly staffs. BUT we got locked out from our room for a little over 30 minutes because of the digital lock of the door was completely dead to a point that even the master key did not work, and the maintenance ended up opening the door in the old school way, which was a hand-made long stick with a loop. The staff offered two bottles of wine for me and apologized for the inconvenience. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

The staff is incredibly helpful. With it being my first time to Charlotte I had a lot of questions and they answered everyone one of them and also the location is very nice. Rooms are kept very clean, the breakfast has great variety, but most of all the staff really seems to want to be at work and want to make the most of your stay. I was very happy with my stay!

The front desk did not disclose pet fees even when asked about a pet fee. After I left they charged a seperate fee of 55 without any explanation. I called and they said it was disclosed on website. We usually love Homewood Suites, and I would have given a five star rating, however the hot breakfast was not good. No bagels, toast, waffles ,etc. Dried up waffles and sausage and very greasy hash browns. Everything was cold. I understand that they are transitioning from bagged breakfasts to this, but it needs to at least be edible. Otherwise, room are clean as usual and ambiance was wonderful.

The desk was nice and the lobby seemed renovated. The room smelled of stale smoke - so much so that I needed febreze. The bathroom shower had black mold in its caulk. It clearly needs to be stripped and replaced. With no ventilation, I had to leave the fan on at all times due to allergies.

I love this hotel. It’s is always clean with great customer service. The location is also good. We could walk to restaurants and many others were less than 3-5 miles away. We weren’t far from shopping either. Definitely a place to go when in the area.

I come here pretty often for work. For some reason every time I am here, I sleep so well. It never fails! The rooms are big. The gym is always empty. They have a good free breakfast in the morning. And they let us use a meeting room for free! You can walk to restaurants.

Quiet, Great value

The hotel was nicely renovated, very clean, and the room was spacious. My only complaints are that the customer service was poor. They were really slow with providing things we needed, as well as, they kept forgetting about our requests. Also, breakfast was completely gone 45 minutes before it was set to end. Therefore, we didn't get a chance to eat at the hotel.

The room was very nice and the staff were friendly, however, there were some areas that could have been cleaned more, especially given the current circumstances. They said they had taken extra steps for cleanliness, but our shower definitely needed an extra wipe down and the trash can already had garbage in it when we arrived. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would stay again.

It was a sleepless night on my recent trip to this hotel. The HVAC unit had a rattle (sounded like a handsaw sawing thru a piece of wood). It would stop once the unit cycled thru but then started up again once the unit came back on. I reported it to the front desk upon checkout and they made a note of it.

Like other reviewers have said, this hotel is SO clean and beautiful, especially for the price. It looks brand new. I always travel with a container of Lysol spray & wipes, but could've left them at home this time. :) Great gym, decent breakfast in a modern but warm & inviting dining area. Tons of places to eat within walking distance in the parking lot. Front desk staff was nice.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel Melannie was great and professional at the front desk and was so lovely with giving me my room, basketball court was nice and breakfast was amazing!

Wonderful wonderful weekend. The room was immaculate. We always check for cleanliness and it was definitely up to our standards. Please forgive me if I spell the young lady's name at the front, but I believe it is Almine. She was great at check in and very pleasant. We will be back.

Great hotel...The customer service was A1. The rooms were big and clean. The front desk clerk noticed my son was with me so advised there was a basketball court out back. Breakfast was great as well. If you are looking for a hotel in the area this is a great one.

An awesome experience. Totally automatic check in. The room was beautiful, roomy and most of all comfortable and clean. The front desk service is first rate. Very professional and even followed up with our concerns concerning breakfast when we got home. If you need an extended visit, you can't do better for the value than this motel.

Great experience: I was here with some friend and the room was clean , great staff and wonderful location. I am very conscious of the cleanliness and smell of a hotel. If I am uncomfortable, I will not return. But this Hilton exceeded my expectations and I have already made plans to return with my husband for a vacation real soon.

Loved the room, check in was simple and fast. I miss daily room service but I understand the changes. However if not going to daily service leaving extra toilet paper roll (there was only half a roll in the room when we checked in) and extra trash bags would have been more ideal. The Room was very clean after check-in

I’ve stayed at five different hotels in this area of Charlotte and this is by far the best. Comparable price, no charge for parking, free (excellent) breakfast cooked up by Isabella and her team. The Fitness Center needs some work getting broken treadmills fixed but a great stay otherwise.

The manager on duty was so helpful gave us plenty of towels. The room was stocked was it so open shampoo conditioner. Incredible stay the cleanest 100% clean rating by North Carolina sanitation. We could not ask for a better hospitality five star across-the-board

Very poor customer service, very poor management, over charges, front desk tells you one thing and manager doesn’t follow through. Also, room wasn’t clean and Air wasn’t very cold. Find another place to stay with better customer service

Room was nice, big and CLEAN. Breakfast was OK..better than most hotels. Can't speak to customer service as I did not speak to anyone. Check In and out digitally worked great. Literal only complaint is that the bathroom door is in an awkward spot and it's hard to get in and out of the shower.

Very friendly staff, we loved our large suite. Cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in. Really enjoyed breakfast as well. The breakfast attendant today was super friendly and went above and beyond to be sure everyone was taken care of. Highly recommend.

Great stay! Stayed from Thursday to Sunday and did not have one negative experience. They serve hot breakfast and a variety of great choices. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are well kept and clean… and overall great stay

The property is ok. The staff is very nice. The property is decent. Its pretty clean. But no bells and whistles. The pull out couch in my room was definitely worn and had a few stains...but other than that...fairly decent.
