I bought a house a year ago and first time living in this area and was looking to find a friendly fish and chip shop hooked fish and chip shop is the closest to our house being the only reason we came here in the first place the owner has always been nice to my children which looking back now I see he must be a predator because every time I go in face to face or order over the phone he has been unbelievably rude and disgustingly disrespectful to me and over charges for his food given the standard isn’t even that good I would not recommend anyone to eat here it’s a wonder he still has a business given the way he treats people and I have been nothing but polite to this man

My daughter recommended this place when we came to Adelaide last week. The gravy was so delicious but that’s it. The fish was moist inside but the batter was cooked 50/50. Chips were horrible and other deep fried stuff was drenched in oil, like he forgot to let in drain first after taking it out. Lovely Scottish man running it but has a bit to learn about cooking. Wont be going back. Food not worth the drugged up werdos outside carrying on.

A hidden gem of a place... Very good prices. Friendly service. Chips and Gravy is awesome. Seafood salad and Chicken Ceasar salad are tasty as, and made on premises. Lamb Yiros is very flavoursome and filling, (I'm yet to try the chicken one) If you see this review, let the owner know that Shane (Thats me), is the reason you're checking it out.

great food, generous servings, good price, great friendly service, the shop and utensils are always clean, the hamburgers are fantastic and I love their potato fritters, I think they are everyone's favourite but my all time favourite is the steak sandwich just perfect with every visit and we've now had multiple visits.

Great food, great service and clean facilities cant recommend highly enough. Have to try the Caesar salad, mmm delicious and for the price you seriously can't go wrong and let's not forget another fav of mine the Chicken Schnitzel vegie or salad packs... Mmmmm bloody delicious and value for money and very filling. My fav takeaway shop.

Had a burger from here several weeks ago and it was really good. Tonight I thought I'd try fish and chips. The chips were crisp, there was lots of them and they were very well wrapped in many sheets of paper ensuring that they were still hot when I got home. The fish was well cooked, tasty and came in a box which kept it hot and crispy. The staff was friendly and the shop was very clean. Will definitely be changing my fish and chip shop - sorry Craigmore.

This place is always fresh always hot and tasty and never fails to bring delight. The fish is crispy and the hot chips are magic. Amd they have a steak sandwich thats to die for.

Bought food from UberEats, they were missing my potato cake and all my dim sims for starters so that's my first bad impression. Then got a dippy dog that tasted really weird like a fishy style type of one. Chips are good and so is yiros pack, those were my issues tho.

Absolutely stoked with this place. I have been trying to find a fish and chip shop that does good, tasty fish, nice chips, delicious gravy and good potato cakes in Adelaide for nearly 3 years... Today, I found that place. Beyond satisfied with the food and the customer service was fantastic also.

My partner and I came in today for a burger and fish and chips. We are soo happy with the quality of our food and service . Can taste the freshness of the ingredients. We will definitely be coming back to hooked. As we are now hooked :)

Food is yummy fully recommend this shop prices are not to bad also.Will most definately be back there. Only disappointing thing was there potato fritters were very small for the price so won't be buying those again unless they get bigger or drop the price of them.

Very average ab pack, chips are average tastes like theyve been precooked and then heated up again when order was made, lamb is fatty, chicken is roast chicken reheated and found a piece of plastic in the chicken never getting another from there.

Usually great service never had a problem until tonight. My dad went down and ordered a chicken yiros with lettuce tomatoe and cheese got home the order was wrong had no cheese and riddled with onion so I rang up to see if a replacement was
