They are horrible. I tried to order a few weeks ago and they asked classified information regarding my credit card they hadn’t asked before so I refused to place my order. During the process of trying to order I told them make sure I get shrimp foo young this time because someone put pork in it instead previously and she admitted to purposely doing it saying they were out of shrimp. I was shocked and just decided to hang up since she refused to let me speak to the gentleman who normally takes my order or the manager. Hoping that I would get a different person today she answers. She starts off by saying that I refused to give her my credit card last time and I informed her she still wasn’t getting it because I would be paying with cash today. Instead of taking my order she goes on and on with what information she’ll be needing from my credit card which was funny since I repeatedly said I was paying cash why does she need my credit card information. When I demanded she let me speak to the manager or have someone else take my order she refused and kept trying to go into a spill about my credit card still and when I asked to speak to anyone but her she said it wasn’t possible yet I heard others speaking. She hung up and I called back she started about my credit card again which is still funny because once again I ask why is she concerned about it since I’m paying cash. I inform her I’m reporting them to the BBB the so called manager gets on the phone and says he won’t take business from me since I’m not paying with my credit card. I guess they must be hearing impaired and not know the difference between cash and credit card. Sorry you want be to use my credit card information to steal from me. I’m also glad I’m not allergic to pork since they thought it was ok to purposely serve it to me instead of shrimp as I had ordered. If you have miscellaneous charges on your account you know who did it!!!

I picked up my order and went home. They gave me a completely wrong order. I called to advise the restaurant. A women would rather argue with me over what food I received. I've had quality issues here before. However, it is simply the closest to my home. After this, never again. There are several of these basically same restaurants within almost every zip code. Quality and service is the only thing to set you apart. The quality and service seemed to be intentionally poor on this night. Please don't waste your time or money here.

The take out was great! We ordered a big order online before the restaurant was open that morning and had it delivered to Mayo Clinic. Ordering online was simple, when I called to confirm they were friendly, and my delivery man followed instructions and called me early to let me know he was a minute away so I could get downstairs and was very nice. Our food was hot, fresh, correct, and tasty. On behalf of the 7 North Nurses, we want to say a big thank you and we will be ordering from here again in the future!

After a long day of Dr’s appointment, going to visit St. Augustine and coming back to the hotel, we ordered here. The food was good, vegetables were delicious, shrimp egg rolls were very yummy. I wasn’t too crazy about the Egg drop soup, maybe because it wasn’t hot enough by the time we got to the hotel but we were hungry and ate it like that. Overall it was really good. The Fried cream cheese wontons were ordered by mistake but we were really pleased with it. It’s the first time I’ve tried them and I would order from them again.

I don't know why the rating isn't higher! The food is good and the driver is amazing, he always arrives in a timely manner! I've had the sweet and sour and the general tao chicken and man am I addicted. They ask how spicy you want the general tao and I love that, I use to go place to place looking for a sweeter flavor but no more, because theirs is SO GOOD. I couldn't stop eating it!

I have been ordering from Hot Wok how about 2 years now and the inconsistency with the food is between good too bad. Sometimes you get very soft fluffy rice to dry course rice same can be said for the meats. And let's not talk about there delivery they say that it will be there in 40 minutes but it's more like an hour and a half. Sometimes longer if you don't call them looking for your meal. Like today an hour and 40 minutes, yeah I'm done.

My go to place Lort jezzuz best in town great price great service love the delivery guy and you get so much food 10/10 definitely recommend

I wish I could give ZERO stars. Ordered online around 5pm for a 6:15 delivery. Just NOW got my food @ 7pm. 45 minutes late. Called the restaurant 15 minutes ago they flat out LIED and told me the driver was on the way. Yeah...soooo....about that...I don't live 15+ minutes away from the restaurant. Nice try at the lie tho!!!

Changing, not for the good. Have been pretty consistent customers in the past, but it seems that each order, they are chintzing out a little more. Sezchuan shrimp gradually less shrimp, more rice, and same for beef w/ brocolli - less beef more green peppers. It it keeps up, will be hard to recommend this location.

Price from menu online does not reflect actual price you pay. What was to suppose to cost $15.00 actually cost about $10.00 more. They said I had different hot wok but the number came from this sight. Live and learn, my father always said. It wss not worth the argument with people who no speak a english.

I think they have the best freshest Chinese Take out food at the Beaches,I also like there fairness,I have allergies,and there are some things I cannot have,they do my dish as I need it, and don’t charge me a arm and leg, unlike some other places I no longer frequent,Hot Wok is the spot for me.

I have personally visited this place on many occasions. It's always hot and fresh and made to order and it's so good. I would give it 10 Stars if the ratings went that high. If you've never tried Hot Wok before. I highly recommend it. And the staff is so nice and very friendly.

Ordered for lunch delivery 11/14. Two individuals ended up with food poisoning the following day, cramping and vomiting. Both tested for covid cause we are healthcare workers, both undetected. Ordered veg fried rice, and pork ribs with pork fried rice. Last order for this crew.

Have been ordering delivery from here for years. Decided to go and pick up food up one day. I will never eat from this place again! So many sanitary violation from the 3 guys working in there. So gross I won't even say, but this place should be shut down!

I agree with the earlier reviewers! This place should be ranked higher, I really enjoyed the shrimp Lo Mein combo platter. The egg drop soup and egg rolls were also as fresh as it gets. 5/5 overall for me including the friendly service.

Fried dumplings, fried wings and teriyaki chicken sticks are very good. Singapore chow mei fan (rice noodle) is the best curry/spicy noodle in JAX. If you don't like spicy, house chow mei fan is good too. Must try.

Is the best Hot Wok in Jacksonville. Food is amazing quality. Highly recommend it, good prices, delicious, and with nice staff. Have one a mile from my house and still go 30 minutes away for this store. Worth it.

Love the carryout. Fast friendly! The food is nothing spectacular, expect normal Chinese carryout. I like that the kitchen can be seen from the counter. So you know the workspace is clean.
