Het hotel is netjes, doch een beetje oudbollig. Het bed voor de 3e persoon was erg hard en lag niet comfortabel. Het master bed is ruim van lengte en lekker breed. De kamer was ruim en had voldoende bewegingsvrijheid. De badkamer had alleen een bad met douche en geen aparte douche. Helaas kon de douchekop niet hoog genoeg waardoor dit enigszins behelpen is. Op de kamer is een tv aanwezig met meer dan voldoende zenders. Lekker tv kijken is er niet bij aangezien het beeld bij de meeste kanalen wordt verhinderd door stilstaand beeld of blokjes. Het ontbijt is goed en wordt ook goed aangevuld waar nodig. De afstand van hotel tot centrum is prima te lopen. Er kan via het hotel een parkeerplaats worden gereserveerd een straat of 2 van het hotel af. Al met al een net hotel waar op een aantal kleine puntjes wel wat herstel kan gebruiken.

Lovely view by the canal not as near to main centre as some other hotels, but this was a positive as I'm sure not everyone experienced the beautiful short walk back along the water. The hotel itself is rather dated. The stairs leading up to the floors were a bit steep and lights that were supposed to come on when it detected movement didn't always work making it feel dangerous if you chose stairs rather than lift. Breakfast was good and substantial with good choice for all tastes. Staff were accommodating and some were friendly. Locking room door was a challenge key seemed to go round in lock without actually locking. Beds and room very comfortable, just check windows are closed on arrival as can sometimes hear passing traffic and bugs get in a bite you. I feel I got what I paid for. Good hotel for a reasonable price.

Absolute gem. This place is perfectly situated to access the main part of town as you take a 10-12 minute walk along the beautiful canal. Anne in the hotel was so friendly and very welcoming. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The best nights sleep. The room was spacious and clean and perfect for 4 of us, two teenage sons. Breakfast was simple but delicious. The pictures below show the view from our room and the canal walk next to our hotel.

We thought The Rosenburg was a great stay. The guy on reception advised and helped us book an excursion we wanted to do within minutes of arriving and all of the staff we came into contact with were helpful and friendly. The room was larger than average and in good condition. It's 10 minute walk into the centre of Bruges from the hotel and our room overlooked the canal. The breakfast was a great buffet with good quality food and drinks. They even had breakfast ready at 6.00am on the morning we were leaving, which we hadn't expected. Agree with other reviewers that the walls are a bit thin but overall we were really pleased with The Rosenburg.

A clean well run hotel . Serving a buffet style breakfast at 10E You can stuff ur boots if U want to do this I recommend u get up early. The room which I chose wasn't available so I wasn't please No worries we went up & & I wasn't dismayed overlooking the canal the bed was new that wk it was a delightful with my back problem. Nothing was to much Problem if you asked we'll be coming back to this hotel now in our 5th year. Thank you for making it a most comfortable stay yet again. Look forward to seeing you all..

Stayed here two nights in July 2016. Very comfortable room on the ground floor near reception. Rather hot and stuffy at night so needed fan on. Peaceful location and very little noise in the hotel. About 10 minutes walk along quiet roads to the centre. Buffet breakfast was of a reasonable standard. No restaurant open in the immediate vicinity. Reception staff were efficient and friendly. Only a couple of below standard housekeeping items prevents me giving 5 stars.

Prima hotel voor een citytripje Brugge. Nette kamers met goede bedden, uitgeruste minibar tegen betaling, t was netjes schoon en t ontbijt was goed. Tip maak gebruik van de garage stuk goedkoper dan op straat parkeren. En complimenten aan het vriendelijke relaxte personeel.

Perfecte stop om op fietsvakantie, Brugge te verkennen. Zeer vriendelijk onthaal. Onze fietsen mochten we veilig opbergen in de privé-garage van de eigenaars. De kamer was zeer netjes en ruim met een mooi uitzicht op de grachten. Rustig gelegen en toch dicht bij het centrum. Er was een ruime keuze bij het ontbijt.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. The rooms are very comfortable and more importantly scrupulously clean. The staff could not have made us feel more welcome and went above and beyond. We were made to feel really welcome and like we were the only guest staying. Really lovely hotel and brilliant location.

Beautiful place with the friendliest staff. Great location in the old area of Bruges next to the river; walking distance from market area making it picture perfect. Wish we stayed longer. Rooms are spacious. WiFi reception is amazing. Beds are comfy. Breakfast is yummy! Coffee station in room. Only downside is the showers that are a bit small - climbing over a tub's edge with a bad back isn't fun.

Hotel was nice. Staff was great. Had a wonderful breakfast buffet. Even opened it early for us due to the fact we had an early departure, and a taxi waiting for us. The only thing I didn't like about it was the bathroom door could have been more private. Didn't like the glass door. You could see in the bathroom. I like my privacy. Other than that, I would highly recommend it.

The hotel location was nice, close to the center. The room needs a renovation. There was no proper air conditioning, the wc was full of mold. The most disappointing thing for me was the room did not look like the pictures online. There was just a little window and we were able to see outside just by standing. The staff was helpful and friendly.

The staff are genuinely friendly and very accommodating. The hotel was a walking distance away from the city center and the railway station, the room was very nice and the included breakfast was what you could expect from a four star hotel. Overall a very good hotel experience where the best part was the exceptional service we received.

A very nice building with well appointed rooms. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was more than adequate with a range of hot foods, cold meats and cheeses as well as a range of breads and pastries. The location is quiet although only a short walk from the city center. Happily recommend this hotel and stay there again.

Room felt stuffy but the location of hotel is very conveniently located for exploring the historic area. Parking was farther than expected. Appreciated the lady working there who made us up a bit of food in the evening when we were having trouble finding anywhere to get food.

Positief : vriendelijke ontvangst, ruime en nette kamer. Negatief: garage voor de auto niet aan het hotel,. Ontbijt viel wat tegen en de ruimte voor het ontbijt was niet gezellig. Wij hadden een kamer met kanaalzicht maar dit stelde weinig voor daar we slechts een klein venstertje hadden op de kamer.

Very well located hotel in quieter part of city. The bar has very reasonable prices for drinks. The staff are friendly too. The rooms were spacious and clean. The breakfast had a good selection of continental cold food and hot stuff like eggs and bacon. I would love to return to this hotel in the not too distant future.

Net hotel, even buiten het centrum aan de gracht. Keurige kamer, alleen ontzettend gehorig. Wij sliepen op de 1e etage, we hoorden constant mensen lopen boven ons en wc doortrekken. Erg vervelend!!

Nice hotel with a very spacious room, friendly and helping staff and a reasonably good location. Extra parking they have is a bit of a walk, and on the street you can only park for max 4 hours, so you don't have many options. Still good place and location.

Nice hotel in pleasant surroundings. Good position, not too far from town and not too noisy. Staff are helpful and breakfast is pleasant. Could do with some air-conditioning and overall a bit of an update but still a pleasant stay with no real issues.

Het weekend van 16 tot en met 18 augustus waren wij met onze vrienden fam.van Druenen uit Maastricht in dit hotel. Aangenaam verrast door de geweldig aardige bediening en service. Prima ontbijt. De kamers waren keurig. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Location is excellent. Right at a river. Hotel is cozy, yet a little outdated. Bath would need a makeover and renovation. For 4 stars I would have expected a better standard in the bathroom. Breakfast was good and hotel room also.
