My Mother do not speak English went to see Judge Mimi Berkowitz at this court since she had to make a payment on her past tickets by Judges request Judge from 1400 Lubbock Houston TX 77002. i forgot the judge's name at this moment. Judge Mimi Berkowitz didn't honor the other judges request even though my mother took the papers given to her by the other judge. as Honor Mimi Berkowitz speak spanish my mother explained to her her situation why she didn't pay her tickets on time. Judge Mimi Berkowitz didn't care and added the fees so now the payment wasn't 600 is 1,600 i don't think this fair. all the reps and people on the phone that were putting to talk to my mom told her that they didn't understand why this was happening to her, that the system showed different amount from Judge Mimi Berkowitz. again my mom felt that this people at this court is being racist, my mother only was aware for a ticket of no insurance and speeding she weren't aware of an extra ticket that they are claiming she has in her record and couldn't give her proof of this but yes they are making her pay. at this moment my mother is very sad and disappointed how racism is coming along now days. her blood pressure has never affected her before and las night was affected due to her visit to this court. I DECIDED TO LET EVERYONE KNOW SINCE NOW DAYS YOU CAN EVEN TRUST IN THE LAW. PEOPLE THAT WE THINK IS GOING TO HAVE INTEGRITY DON'T HAVE NOW DAYS. WE ARE LOSING THAT NOW DAYS. I REALLY HOPE THIS DON'T HAPPEN TO YA'LL.

I recently had to appear in the municipal court for a speeding ticket and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The court staff were incredibly courteous and professional, making the process of resolving my ticket a smooth and easy one. I was particularly impressed with how efficiently everything was handled - my request was processed quickly and without any delays. Furthermore, I am grateful for the Judge “Ms. Polly Gilligan” considerate decision to waive my ticket. After explaining my circumstances, she showed understanding and compassion, which meant a lot to me. Overall, I would highly recommend this municipal court for anyone in need of their services. The staff's commitment to providing excellent customer service and their efficient process make for a positive and stress-free experience.

They are money hunger like crazy. Suspended my sister's license because her name wasnt on my car insurance. The truck was insured by me. Who gonna put insurance on someone car for 30 mins. She paid Renee Gonzalez's law firm they wouldn't switch it to downtown, so he could take the case. I called and ask did they have a annex a black woman answer and said yes. I drove thinking Im getting forms to switch my truck in another state. They look at you crazy you ask a question. What is this world coming to. If you like helping you shouldn't have a job with people need t I be in a cubilce to look at your self

Had to go there today for jury duty. The lady who first greets you at the door doing security was so friendly and warm, made us feel welcome and at home. The lady in charge of the jury assembly room was very sweet and a lot of fun. The Bayliff for the court was also helpful and friendly. As much as most people dread going to jury duty, this ended up being a very pleasant experience in a nice clean building with people who made you feel good about being there. Thank you so much for making it a pleasant experience.

Had high hopes for getting a few of my tickets dismissed from 8 years ago dispite all the negative reviews but they are all right . The judge straight up told me theres nothing she could do for me . She wasn't willing to work with me at all . I havent had a ticket in 5 years but she just didn't care . Went to the Downtown location right after and the judge there dissmissed my tickets . Save yourself the trouble and just go to the Downtown location instead .

I came here for a ticket (twice for the same one) staff was very nice, and the judges I had gotten were very friendly, for the most part just the second one, the first one seemed like a germaphobe when I tried to show some documents. But anywho, they helped me resolve my ticket and got everything set and done in the end. Even had a conversation with a few of the staff, they're respectful to say the least.

I visited this court to request an extension to complete driving safety course for a ticket I received a few months ago. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The court was also empty at 11am on a Thursday when I went. I was able to walk directly into court, speak with the judge who was very kind and informative, and walk out in about 5 minutes.

The judge was a great judge don't get me wrong. But the clerk's are terrible!! It's like they are racing to hang up in your face. I've been hung up on when trying to get info or transferred in the middle of a sentence. I would hate to have to look to these people to save a life. Do better.

Passport renewal. Quick service. I was given an appointment. Before my appointment I received email and text reminders. Day before I was called and a very nice clerk told me everything to bring and do before my appointment. At my appointment Daryien was beyond helpful and courteous.

called over the phone and asked a simple question regarding my traffic ticket after being on hold for 15 minutes. the lady rudely yelled at me basically saying she could not help me and to call back later. customer service is very unprofessional.

Clerks were nice and welcoming! Standard court environment.. always clean, quiet, and staffed Thank you to Judge Vo for allowing me to take a DD course instead of paying a huge court fine! It means a lot to college students like me.

Hire a LAWYER If you go to this place because they WON'T WORK WITH YOU at all to have ANY TICKET OFF YOUR RECORD.... but that's if your concerned with have a good driver's license.

The woman at the front security is incredibly rude and visibly miserable. You can tell she hates her job and she takes it out on people. Clerk and cashier were nice enough though.

Asian judge is too much judging me by wearing what i want they already took money off me i can wear what i want and that hispanic security with her is such a simp for the judge.

Front desk lady is very rude and weird and she hung up in my face as well as caught an attitude with me. She needs to be fired and I will be speaking to her supervisor.

Was looking for some answers about paperwork so i Call and call and call it's like they take the phone of the hook in municipal court. All day long.

The court (18) was organized, expedient, and courteous. Everyone that I witnessed working there was polite and nice to all they encountered.

The security that is checking before entering to the court is very rude (unprofessional). She treated me horribly...

In and out in 20 minutes. Everybody was helpful and friendly! I appreciate their help and registering! Thank you!

The skinny hispanic lady that deal with domestic violence is no help at all. Nor caring just helpless very sad
