I Just went to see Mission impossible Dead Reconing at 10am in D-box. After also seeing Fast X in D-box here I was expecting another well synchronised motion seats experience so I recommended and invited my whole family along to try it only to be VERY DISAPOINTED!! I'm pretty certain the seats weren't functioning normally because for the entire 3 hr movie the seats weren't synced up to the movie with motion effects dropping in and out .. eg: During any action scene you'd exspect the seats to move to all punches, bullets fired, vehicles moving. But no! It was Soooo inconsistently bad some punches hit and others didn't in the same scene. For allot of the action scenes the seats didn't move at all!! But It'll move for somthing so stupid like throwing passports down on a table or pulling out a pocket knife. What's even worse than it not being synchronised was the very loud clunking noises happening from certain seats throughout the whole movie while there wasn't even any motion to create. Everybody in the cinema could hear this!. To top it all off my Recliner did not recline so I was forced to sit upright throughout the movie. For an experience you pay this much for I definitely feel ripped off and embarrassed I recommended it to family. So disappointed because I knew what to exspect from seeing Fast X. Will not be returning again to these seats and will be letting others know not to bother aswell. Thanks Hoyts Frankston for the worst movie experience to date. Village im coming back. P.s I did let staff know but they did not offer any compensation just said they'd let the managers know, very poor customer service here.
On the 13th of October, I went to Hoyts Cinemas. In this review, I will be talking about the Hoyts Cinemas, Frankston. This cinema consisted of great service whereas some other cinemas don’t.This includes the option of food, the seating and the cleanliness. I think this cinema is the best one I have ever been to. The option of the food made my mouth water. Hoyts Cinemas provide a wide range of great snacks and even a small dinner. The popcorn is buttery, salty and full of awesome flavours, you would want it even if you weren’t hungry. The food is just as good as a dream. The seating is as comfy as clouds. Hoyts Cinemas have great seating and they are even recliners where as before they were normal seats. Their seating is so comfy my dad even fell asleep whilst watching the movie. They are just as good as laying in bed. The cleanliness is outstanding. Hoyts Cinemas have cleaners in after every movie so it is clean for the next people to come in rather than a dirty cinema. The last time I went to Hoyts Cinemas there wasn’t a single piece of popcorn on the ground. How clean it was, was amazing. In this piece, I have written a review to share my experience of the Cinemas in Frankston. I have explained how delicious the food option is, how comfy the seating was and the cleanliness, especially the rooms. In conclusion, I would highly recommend Hoyts Cinemas to anyone of any age. Great cinemas with reclining seats. Candy bar is crazy overpriced which is standard. The frustrating bit is that it's impossible to find the prices for anything bar a few items and the $100 Star Wars back pack, unless you ask at the counter. Which is what I do now everytime I visit and it goes a little something like this... "Hi, How much is the...? And this? And that? And this how much is this? What about that? Maybe that, how much is that? How about that? How much for that? And that again, how much was it? And that? Hmmmm I like them how much are they? And those, how much? And that over there? Oh ok, it would be very helpful if all of the prices were displayed on the MASSIVE screen that runs the length of the candy bar that shows all of the items but not the prices." By the time I walk to the cinema I've usually regretted coming back yet I do due to the cinemas convienent location and hope that one day Hoyts won't be so embarrassed by their prices that they actually display them. If I line up for the candy bar I know I'm about to be ripped off and I've already decided that's ok. Lastly..... DO NOT TOUCH the touch screen self service ticket machine and forget to wash your hands unless you like hot sweats, sprints to the toilet and being curled up in a stomach cramping ball for a night.
Went in to watch a movie last night, our session was at 8:40pm, and we were a tad late due to unrelated reasons, and we got there at 8:48pm to buy some snacks only to be met by a young guy who told us “sorry were closed we pack up 10 minutes after the first session”, my response was “oh well that’s lucky then because it’s only 8:48pm so we still have 2 minutes”. “Oh it’s not exactly 10 minutes after” was the employees response to which I said “well when did you start packing up then?”, “about 5 minutes ago”, “so it’s not 10 minutes after the first session it’s 3 minutes after the first session?”. Safe to say we didn’t get any snacks from the Cinema, not that we were entirely disappointed, thanks to that young guy we saved ourselves some money by going to Coles 2 minutes away but that’s not the point, the point is if you’re meant to be open, stay open, don’t close early because you want to go home early or bang on home time, hospitality is about good service not going home bang on 9pm, someone at Hoyts should maybe let their staff know that in these difficult times when certain industries are suffering from low patronage that a business should be maximising all opportunities for income from all facets of the business.
Spending "date night" out at the cinemas with my boyfriend seemed like a good idea at the time... until we arrived at Hoyts Frankston (honestly should have known better). Not only are the adult tickets expensive but the snacks are just as ridiculously priced, $26.20 for 2 drinks and some popcorn to which the rude lady serving me did not fill to somewhat standard capacity, also the popcorn was cold and beyond stale... almost... flat and squishy.... disappointment right there. What came next for my boyfriend was a horrible visit to the bathroom to which he found someone's next to jelly like (meaning it has been there for a long time) urine on every seat. Not just the one but all seats. Not only were the men's toilets in chaos but also the women's, how do I put it delicately... fecal matter in 2 of the toilet stalls, urine on another toilet seat, women's sanitaries filled with what I assume is water and left on the floor, again toilet paper everywhere... The one saving grace from it all was the clean and almost empty cinema to which myself and my BF could just relax and watch our movie. Lessons learned I think the Luna drives ins might be a better idea next time.
During the day the cinema is perfect. Not a problem. But they need better staff first in the morning The seats are better than most cinema's. Reclining and more leg room. You need to book in advance especially during school holiday's due to less seating than most cinema's. But still a lot of seats. Food prices are like every other cimema. Popcorn has more flavor than village cinema popcorn but is never correctly cooked. Only half cooked. I will never go to the first session of the day again. Some of the staff are slow like snails, especially one girl. Never seen someone move so slow when there were 6 groups of people waiting. When someone asked when we would be served because the movie was only a few minutes away from starting, she went slower. She was acting a little grumpy that she was aked when we can be served, even though they had opened 15 minutes late. I then had to use my phone light to find my seat as they didn't put the lights on till a few minutes after the credits had started. So as soon as I had found my seat. Almost like they were watching and waiting for me to sit down.
Hello, thank you for considering my feedback, The lady selling tickets at the cinema knew clearly that I was 15 and my friends were 14 when they sold us tickets to watch an MA15+ movie (John Wick 3). we waited an hour, came back to the cinema as the movie was about to start and we were ready to secure our seats. Then disaster strikes, the beta male standing at the entrance to the cinema denied us access to our movie that we had paid for previously in the afternoon. He would not let us in when we showed him our tickets as he wanted to see all of our ID's. So he saw that I was 15 years old and my three friends were turning 15 this year which ruined our afternoon and the popcorn we bought to eat during the movie was stale and cold. All I ask is that your cinema fixes your customer service so we can put an end to these pushover employees who find pleasure in ruining fun for the youth of our society.
Usually not bad but last Thursday when I went to see doctor strange everything went wrong. My cinema somehow was overbooked, it was completely unorganised and everyone including my girlfriend and I had no idea what was going on, after waiting around we decided to order some food from the restaurant/bar which we were told would take 15 minutes, we hadn’t had any dinner so we were looking forward to eating we were told to collect it at the bottom of the stairs once our buzzer went off. finally got to our seats which had to be changed due to the overbooking. Waiting for our food… 2 hours 15 minutes later at the very end of the movie our buzzer went off. Went home with nothing but a refund for our food and a hangry girlfriend! Very frustrating way to end our 2 year anniversary
When it comes to our favorite cinemas, there is one that stands out above the rest. This place is a true heaven for movie buffs, offering an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The cinema takes the movie-going experience to the next level with its comfortable seating. The plush chairs are so cozy that you'll feel like you're sitting in your own living room. They are spacious and provide ample legroom, ensuring that you can fully relax and enjoy the film without any discomfort. The seats have built-in cup holders, so you can keep your drink within easy reach. With all of these features, it truly is a haven for movie enthusiasts, offering a combination of amazing food and comfortable seating that is simply unbeatable.
My husband and I go to Hoyts Frankston to see a movie every week along with some of the members from a social group. It’s so easy to buy the tickets at the ticket hub, The renovations have created lots of space from the entry, past the snacks, ice creams and drinks area towards the final payment area. The only negative is there is often a queue waiting to pay for snacks, but if guests don’t pre book, then it’s difficult to roster staff. Once inside the theatres, the seats are super comfy, very spacious and of course are all recliners There’s also plenty of space for wheelchair guests. Huge screens and awesome sound too. Hoyts Frankston is the best!
I haven't been to Hoyts in a while, so you can imagine I was very excited to go. However, im quite frankly disapointed. Hoyts now have a 'serve yourself' section where you can pick up your drinks, popcorn and snacks. Which sounded great but when me and my friend got there, we were greeted with sticky floors, cold popcorn and soft drink that hadn't had the syrup changed. To top it all off, the bathrooms are filthy, there was brown stuff on the walls (I hope it wasn't what I thought it was) and there was water scattered on the floors, which is a hazard because I fell over. After this experience I think I'll be going to Village Cinemas.
Service was ridiculously bad with no one to check your ticket and had to wait 10 minutes simply to buy a bottle of drink even though there was not one other customer in line . All the while there was someone standing at the second counter seemingly in a daze. Also, the girl who served me would not take a drink out of the fridge but instead sent me to the second counter which was unmanned when I got there making me late for the film. To further compound matters there were 3 workers waiting to clean the cinema even though the movie hadn't finished thereby disturbing the patrons. If I was able to give no stars I definitely would
Ill preface this review with the fact that i haven't been to the flicks in probably a decade. My wife and I saw a movie in one of the smaller cinemas and we immediately thought upon entry, oh great, pokey seats, no decent sound etc. How joyous to be proven wrong. The magnificent electric recliner seats were so comfortable, who needs gold class . The sound was great and overall it was a most enjoyable experience. We're already planning our next date night here. Oh yeah, Baskin and robbins ice cream outlet out front too. The only one for miles.
Terrible design of the cinema. Was clearly designed to reduce number of staff required. How much did they spend on those 20 ticket kiosks that noone uses? Enough to give some kids a job surely if they had have thought about it differently. You can't pay for popcorn at the candy bar.... What??? Practical reality is everyone is forced to line up to buy tickets just before the entry to the movies. They have no staff and so big queues are the result. More staff, less kiosks = more happy customers and repeat business.
I paid $56 for the seats and $36 for food and drink. My recliner seat didn't work (which is one of the main selling points of hoyts, that they have recliner seats) and both our seats were covered with soft drink (pepsi to be specific) making them very sticky. We couldn't move anywhere as the cinema was packed. The popcorn was cold and the soft drink dispenssor section is poorly set up. Soft drink everywhere and everything being sticky. For nearly $100, that was a big dissapointment and waste of money
This is another great cinema complex with electric reclining seats in all cinema rooms, with convenient parking in the same building its extremely great for the disabled if distance is an issue with very good prices for both the the parking and the movies. Theres also plenty of food shops both inside the complex and nearby to grab a meal at or theres the cinema cafe for a quick fix of popcorn for your film. The most comfortable seating ive had at a cinema.
This place has come a long way they have now upgraded all the cinemas to have recliners in them and little tables between them too so you can put your goodies on them. Its like having a gold class experience in a way but at normal cinema prices. Also if you are with optus you can get tickets cheaper and you can also join hoyts rewards and get cheaper tickets and other bonus items. Lovely cafes and restaurants near bye or enjoy their hot food menue options.
My son turned 20 last week, and just loves Toy Story (he's autistic) so we hired out the cinema for a private screening just for family and friends. It holds 47 people, and because we all know each other know one cares if someone yells out...or let's one go - we're all friends. Hoyts do an amazing job of getting it altogether for us...and, as a bonus the movie is ad free and trailer free...we just sit and on it comes. A great experience. Five stars.
I cant complain about the cinema. The reclining seats are awsome, very clean and comfortable. I gave 3 stars because this cinema lacks a candy bar with variety. If you have ever been to Hoyts in East Land you will understand. They have hot food options that are delivered to you in the cinema. Here at Frankston I had two options for a bag of chips, "plain chips or sour cream and onion grain waves". Very disappointed but, we still enjoyed the movie.
Having avoided cinemas for the better part of 20 years was pleasantly surprised by the electric recliners that each seat has. Of course that was offset by the chap with the jumbo size bag of chips who sounded like he was jackhammering his was through a city street, and the unidentified sticky substance on the first seat I tried, but all in all was a good experience. Just be prepared to mortgage your house if you want a small popcorn and drink
My favorite local cinema. The reclining leather chairs give you the feel of a gold class experience but at an affordable price. My kids and I enjoy sitting in the front row in their reclining seats and laying right back in them. I've found the further back you sit in the cinema, the recliners do recline too far back and you're almost looking at the ceiling, so I do recommend sitting closer to the screen to get the best reclining position.
$22 for tickets, same again for 2 drinks and Malteasers. See the movies, bypass the candy bar. This Hoyts has reclining seats in each cinema, I think. It has 10 screens, and often runs movies longer than their competitors do, and resurrects classics from time to time. It's been a long time since I went cattle-class to the movies, but I'd term this one as "Silver" class. Big seats, leather recliners. Very comfy. I'll be back.
They have very comfortable leather electronic reclining seats. The seats actually smell like new leather! Can't beat that with the Optus Perks! Best cinema experience. The only thing bad about this place is that if you're next to unruly school kids, they are really annoying when they play with the electronic reclining switch. But that's not the cinema's fault. Secure multilevel car park is $1 an hour which isn't too bad.
Went here today with my partner who is pregnant and was told the ice creams weren't available at the time (9pm) that didn't bother us so much so we went to get a couple of waters which were 2 for $9.50, absolute joke in my eyes and they wonder why people bring their own goods in.. Also watched Avatar 2 which went for over 3 hours and I'm just warning anyone to not waste your time. Movie dragged on like covid.
2 adults and 2 kids.. $76 for movie tickets. 2 small and 2 medium Popcorn and coke combos come to $63!! Absolute rip off charging that for hard unpopped popcorn and watered down coke!! Only good thing about this place is the seats! Why are all the tickets $19? Everywhere else has a price for adults and kids or at least a deal for 2a 2c! Definitely won’t come back and can think of some better things to do for $140!
I hate the differences between the web and app booking systems, normally use the web app to make bookings for movies the one time I book using the website and it picked up an old cinema location that I haven’t used for years Asked for a refund but was refused. Get both platforms synced guys, I should not have to worry about making a booking and what platform I’m using, in this day and age it should all be seamless
Hoyts has improved quite a bit in the last few years. All the movies I have seen have electric reclining chairs which are really comfy. Most of rooms are not big which makes the experience even better! The staff are all polite, it would be great if all of them would give suggestions on better value or options with popcorn and drink combo's as some do and some don't. Will continue going as very family friendly.
Pretty decent cinemas. Had to wait a while for them to clean up cause the last session must have made a huge mess. But they did a great job cleaning up cause it was not noticeable when we got in. Screen was clear and seats were pretty good. Wish they had more of a headrest when you're all the way back. Or an adjustable headrest. Sound was great! Couldn't fault that. And staff were real nice.
The cinema's are great. Big, comfortable seats, spacious, well air conditioned/heated. The screens & audio are perfect. The lines to buy tickets are always long. Go early or order online. The snack bar is good and currently new restaurants are under construction on the same level. Main foyer a bit worn out but don't be put off - the movie seats are fabulous and always clean! Enjoy!
We've gone hire many times to watch movies. Walking distance to the shopping center and food counts surrounded secure underground car park. Plenty of theaters with wide screens and 3D option as well. Very reasonable prices. Staff very kind and efficient. The movie theaters are equipped with reclining automatic channels. Very spacious seats and rows.
Such a shame; the new rennovations look amazing, however have taken a huge step backwards in service provided. No longer can you order ahead, there are no prices anywhere to show you deals available etc. Then you have to line up to pay and wait for people to purchase tickets, choose seats etc. Cinemas and reclining seats still way above the rest!
An iconic Melbourne cinema with the reclining seating! Movies are always amazing here, especially on the larger screen. The food area redesign, completed few years ago looks fantastic although the cinemas themselves are starting to show their age. Some of the seats need restoration and installation of Dolby Atmos would update the cinema further.
Service is a bit effortless but they are teenagers so I don’t expect too much. But of enthusiasm wouldn’t go astray. They always seem too busy chatting to each other than to put customers first. Venue is awesome though and lots of tasty treats available. Chairs are recliner and super comfy. We never visit Village now unless we have a voucher.
Because: 1)Pepsi 2)pre-boxed popcorn 3)2for1 bagged lolly specials incompatible for the sake of 20cents. 4)$27.70 for 1 "extreme" popcorn, 1x 180g bag of m&ms and 1 choc top. 5)Hoyts then has the audacity to ask me for a 30cent top up to support charity so they can make a tax deductible donation in their own name. Chairs are good.
Went along to see a movie here last week after a long hiatus. The renovations make the place look amazing. I’ve always loved the reclining seating here, but I couldn’t believe how soft the seating is in the cinema. My friend and I have decided to make it a monthly thing to go to movies again so will be back again next month.
Recliners have become grubby. At $22 with rewards, village Gold class seems better option when u can buy the discounted tickets. The popcorn are all pre-packaged and no staff interaction makes it no movie experience anymore. If hoyts are wondering why there is fewer patronage, its because Hoyts have to lift up their game.
I booked my tickets online which was quick and easy to use. Tickets were viewed on my mobile so no need to print at home. Staff at Hoyts Frankston were polite and helpful. We shared our cinema with only 3 others so covid spacing was not as issue. Theatre 10 was clean and the recliner chairs very comfortable.
Great facilities. There is a car park underneath the cinema so parking is not a problem. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants close by for the foodies after the movies. Seating is excellent and I have never had a problem with a show being booked out. Food is not cheap. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Avoid this Hoyts and choose competitor or another Hoyts. The entire management team (Beck, Luke & Jane) were ridiculous over 1 voucher and will only make issues for their customers. My local Hoyts issued me a ticket and apologised for their co-workers responses. Bad service and avoid and use elsewhere.
This is the best cinema I have ever attended, only downfall is the extreme screen viewings can be at odd times and can make it hard to book a good seat. The new renovations are amazing! Very classy for Frankston. Seats recline and comfy enough to snooze through a boring movie your partner picked …
Best cinema in the area. Recliners are super comfortable, recline further than Chadstone Hoyts which is much newer. Still costs way to much to get a popcorn and a drink but that’s only ever gonna get worse so no point complaining. If going at a peak time buy your tickets online and skip the queue.
I haven’t been to Hoyts Frankston for a while. Maybe this is why Went there today What a debacle The Foyer is a dark Self Serve area No Clear Pricing No Staff (only behind the scenes) No Combo’s Then you wonder off to find the checkout and just how much you spent Wouldn’t won’t to be on a budget.
Absolutely outraged!! Ordered an indulgence combo for my partner and when it was delivered there was no popcorn!! Literally the only reason I ordered from here. If I only wanted an ice-cream and a drink I would have gone to McDonald’s and paid half the price! Ridiculous and very disappointing!
Terrible. They have 2 people serving for all snacks and tickets. Every person who gets served has some issue with costs or tickets so they are extremely slow. Can't believe there is service this bad for what is an entirely service product. Go somewhere else for your own sanity and enjoyment
The seats were good. We were placed at the left side of the theater even though there were some places in the middle, that made me enjoy the movie less. The food prices were also ridiculous. $7 for a frozone! In McDonalds or 7/11 a frozen drink is only $1. It makes me not want to go.
Not loving the do it yourself bar or the confusion. Just a few staff to help people out a greeting and some direction would help. Still love the seating thou wish village would do that type of seating would opt for my closest cinema then. Generally seeing a movie here is pretty good.
Been going here for many years and have enjoyed many movies here however the recent renovations have taken a step back in quality and look horrible - didn't like that the popcorn is no longer served fresh but instead is prepackaged. Xtremescreen seats are comfortable to recline.
Very, very impressed. Thank you Hoyts Frankston for ensuring our class trip to see The Grinch was such an enjoyable experience. Thank you Kerry for your efficiency and accommodating our booking. A super big thanks to manager Sam for great service and making us feel so welcome.
Hoyts Cinema is fairly clean and luxurious. The reclining seats are so comfortable and cozy and much better than villages old seats. I've been to many movies at hoyts and have never had an issue once. Love the new candy bar and it's design it's a new fresh take on the cinema.
Before the pandemic, this was a good place to watch your movies. The seats were comfy and reclining, giving you plenty of room to relax. The service was efficient and the staff were helpful. Would recommend when movies start coming out again and restricions are eased.
Big comfortable recliners, great audio. Unfortunately the smaller cinemas are a bit cramped here compared to my usual cinema (Village Karingal) which means the front rows are really painful to sit in during packed movies. Food and drink selection is good though.
Nothing but sourness from one of the young girls at Hoyts Frankston every time I go there. I’m an avid Hoyts goer but she partially ruins the experience each time. Everyone else is great. If I come across her again I will have to make a formal complaint.
Went in close to midnight, there were no attendants to even check the tickets so anyone could just walk in there which was odd. There were some wrappers on the ground, but all in all it looked quite tidy. The staff who served me popcorn were very nice.
Small and dirty theatres! also the prices of food seriously can't be justified considering the hot food comes out cold and is extremely low quality. It's not to uncommon to walk into an empty theatre here and have to sit amongst someone else's trash.
Very clean cinemas, very comfortable seating and some theatres have electric reclining seats. Very upscale not just for "Franger" but for most Melbourne suburbs. There's a great shopping centre next door and 2min away from a walk along the beach. :)
How do you guys come up with your prices? Water $6.20 Drink $10 Popcorn $11 I can afford it, but how about those that are less fortunate, how do you expect them to bring the family to the cinema, no wonder why the place has not many people...
I go to hoyts in Frankston a lot with my girlfriend and the both of us have a really good time watching a movie on those comfy recliner seats and the staff are nice and helpful which is also nice. The reason why I didn't give all 5 stars is
Hoyts Frankston could certainly improve a few things such as their food costs or package availability but they try. Overall with such great reclined seating and booking systems in place that work with your rewards card and optus perks etc,
Great service, good vibe, comfy and pleasant seats, prices are reasonable as well. Great place to spend a few hours with family or friends or ever by yourself if you've got a few hours to burn, looking forward to it once corona clears up.
Movie was good but unfortunately at the start we had purchased two buckets of popcorn. While waiting to collect them another patron took a hand full of popcorn from one of our buckets most likely thinking it was their order no harm done.
Hoyts’s changes to the movie pricing, with no pension card discounts, seniors, and no student concessions any more, replaced by their so called “super savers” aren’t super at all! They are not set at everyone’s convenience to be able to
Best recliner seats I’ve come across in Hoyts! I know friends who come from other suburbs simply because the seats are great. Only pain is the lack of free parking. Wish they would offer a discounted parking rate for cinema customers.
Unlike village who can't even let u in to the cinema until the adds are playing and ur trying to find ur seat in a dim cinema. Hoyts actually open the doors with plenty of time before the movie. Love the new recliner chairs they are
wanting to max out your credit card to watch a movie? this is the place to be my friend. the movie ticket was $15 and the food price was unbelievable, $30 for a large popcorn and a medium drink, $45 DOLLARS FOR ONE PERSON!!!
Great cinemas, always clean. We love the extreme screen! Hoyts rewards allows us to access supersaver seats for $14 and has lot's of other discounts. The only downside, like most theatres, is the overpriced snacks & drinks.
always been good when I went. only reason I ever go to Frankston since I hate Frankston since its disgusting. I seen many movies here, its been good. it was Nice to see jujutsu Kaisen 0 in the cinema here, lots of weebs.
Disappointed in the new look, lack of human presence in the foyer or good signage showing you where to buy tickets from a human. When I did find one they were very helpful which was nice. Volume in cinema extremely loud.
Seriously disappointed with our experience yesterday. The toilets were filthy, pizza was awful and as expected everything was insanely overpriced. Village cinemas are better, only went to HOYTS because of a gift card
It was clean the screan was decant sized and if you book on line to get your tickets, it works out to be a good price for a day out. We had a lovely time. All so another bonous the recliners are comfortable! …
Love the Hoyts. The recliner seat with large cup holder and mini table is good. Good eating places around. What I can suggest is some hot food at the food outlet, esp during winter ( like Indian warm snacks).
Super comfy seats and friendly staff. Just the bins need emptying and toilets cleaned otherwise would be five stars. Felt like we were in Gold class but was standard we will be back great experience …
Cinemas were clean and appeared newly renovated. Reclining seats were comfortable and a lot of fun. Don't need to get seats as far back as you think because the recline causes you to look upwards a little.
I really enjoy going here with my family. Good choices of beers and popcorn. The recliner seats weren’t half bad. Staff are always friendly and cant fault the customer service. We always had a great time.
Very bad place. do not recommend. i went here with my friend and we both presented ID and they still didn’t let us in. when we asked for a refund they wouldn’t and gave us free movie tickets for weekdays.
The new self ticket booking system has some annoying bugs to be fixed, same great movie screens and chairs but very annoyed at the self serve. Couldn't get the seats we wanted due to a technical problem.
New look layout is great, serve yourself drinks and popcorn, there's also a bar where you can relax and wait for the movie to start. Reclining leather seats makes the movie experience really enjoyable.
Nice seats, nice room, awful sound system! My cheap home surround system sounds 100% better, I've been in the extreme screen the only extreme is that it's extremely quiet and no surround sound at all.
The cinema is great but the staff don’t smile and are rude. The food and drink prices are out of this world. They have vending machines in the hall way that sell drinks for cheaper than there store.
All the current films here. All seats recline very comfortable.Seniors only pay $8 very cheap.Parking onsite usually $3-4 depend on length of film time. Not far from Frankston train station and buses.
Recliner chairs make for very comfortable film watching. Friendly staff, doesn't have all those game machines which is a good thing. Street parking available and paid underground parking too.
All chairs in all cinemas recline. The new refurb has kept it relevant and fun. It is pricey for the food and needs more direction on how the new section works but otherwise a great cinema!
The best reclining chairs in Melbourne! You won’t regret it! Also their rewards program is great value for money, $11 a year and 25% off tickets and snacks goes a long way in this economy!
recently had the pleasure of visiting Hoyts Frankston and I must say it was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment I stepped foot into the theater, I knew I was in for a treat.
The best pricing and all the rooms have luxury recliner seating. Im impressed with the amount of room there is for prams and wheel chairs e.t.c. friendly staff so keep up the good work.
Reclining seats were really good and kids can see very well.. lots of room in cinema.. as usual rip off for popcorn and drink!! $35 for two cokes and two medium popcorns.. bit of a joke
Great friendly staff and recliner chairs super comfortable. If you're hard of hearing you can get a caption reader for your chairs which makes it easy to read while watching the movie.
This movie theatre was so incredibly comfortable. l felt like l could have been in Gold class but it was just a regular cinema with the most comfortable chairs and plenty of leg room.
Not too bad, bought the two drinks one bucket of popcorn, and watched Jumanji. The recliner seats weren’t half bad, and we had a great time. Could do something about the noise though.
Always clean and tidy. Staff are friendly. I attended the mums and bubs movie session which is an awesome initiative. Lots of other mums/dads there taking advantage of the session.
As usual, recliners, great movie, first class service, well done Hoyts Frankston. You continue to leave village way behind in both experience and service. Keep up the great work.
Seriously comfortable seats, and can't beat $10 movie of the week deals. My only negative comment would be; that the candy bar is quite expensive, compared to village's.
This Cinema is great. When you walk in you have an array of food and a fridge full of drinks. The Cinema has recliner chairs with plenty of room. Loved our experience.
Good customer service good facility. But values a bit poor when you're paying for multiple people. Just 2 adults 1 popcorn and 1 drink cost a little over 60 dollars.
I use to only go gold class but since hoyts installed reclining chairs I have now changed cinemas. Also being an optus customer i get discounted tickets …
Who needs gold class when there's reclining chairs in every cinema. The popcorn is always fresh n tastes as good as it smells. Staff are friendly and helpful
Excellent. Clean recliner chairs. The usual takeaway food. The only cinema's we go to now. Have learnt to always book as some of the cinema rooms are small.
Ever since Jimmy Barnes' doco came out at hoyts we always visit hoyts to watch any movie. Love the recliner seats and the big screen is the best. …
$10 for a small popcorn? 2 for $10 is a good deal on 600ml water bottles? God. The corporate greed is real here. I won't be going to the movies again
Every cinema has recliners now! So much more comfortable, and as a fairly tall person I actually have room! The staff are friendly and helpful too.
I would prefer HOYTS over normal cinemas because of the reclining chairs. Love the drinks and bar out the front. Would Highly recommend …
