Ikea Ikea Ikea - my favourite place to mindlessly walk around looking at furniture & other home furnishing items. They have plenty of options at affordable prices. Shopping at Ikea has always been a pleasant experience. Sometimes it can be difficult finding things (also seem to run out of stock a lot) but you always have other options available. The lines for checkout can be pretty long/slow, even then, usually not that bad. They do have free parking/wheel chair accessible parking as well & elevator services inside. But lets skip all the furniture talk and talk about food - Ouuuu, the comfort food . From the warm creamy mash to the yummy meatballs. Prices for the portion sizes are equally as good. So many different items to choose from. Kept pretty neat/tidy and the staff were super friendly. There are carts to help you carry your food trays to your table and also plenty of seating available. Only thing they don’t seem to have were take out containers. Other than that, definitely worth checking out if your shopping at Ikea or even just in the area .

Pristine, organized, visual display, ease of finding items, touch and feel products, simplicity and tasteful designs that support your hard earned money. Easy online ordering, friendly and helpful folks. Ikea continues to focus on customers and their needs with ease and grace. No gouging here. Ample parking, well placed location, easy access from Bayview or Leslie 401 (just around the corner). Comfortable and clean Swedish Cafeteria for single, double or family sitting area: Coffee, dessert and some light foodies at very low price. The Swedish meatballs of yesterday have been replaced with hotdogs, so only the name is Swedish, a bit disappointed but ok. Everything for everyone is here. Storage is amazing and small spaces magic plus offices, kitchens and bathrooms. Prices good overall and items are more solid than 20+ years ago. Very happy with IKEA especially now.

!!!DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE!!! IKEA picked up my recalled products on November 2nd with the promise of a full refund plus tax (499 + tax) per item and I received $394.37 total… it should have been $1127.74. Now everyone I speak to over the phone is giving my different answers and promising different things. No replies to my emails and have completely denied any responsibility in the matter. Now I am out two dressers without enough of a refund to even repurchase new ones as I was guaranteed. Terrible customer service and absolutely no care for their customers. DO NOT RECOMMEND PURCHASING FROM THIS AWFUL COMPANY. They do not care about their customers. Even when your recalled product is killing people. A large IKEA location easily accessible off the 401. Super busy on the weekends and challenging to navigate through with all the people. Large parking area. Better to visit through the week if possible. Lots of options for room decor at a reasonable price. Also many furniture pieces for any room. Staff are around although I’ve never found them to be customer oriented. They all seem to be busy doing other things. Checkout is usually busy moves fairly quickly. Self checkout is available. I have eaten at the restaurant, if is buffet/cafeteria style and food is okay at best. Purchased a small desk unit “Alex”. A sturdy little unit that if you follow the instructions closely while putting it together will be a good experience. Very happy with this purchase.

IKEA North York is a go-to destination for all things home furnishing. The store offers a wide selection of stylish and affordable furniture, home decor, and household items. Navigating through the store can be a bit overwhelming due to its size, but the layout is well-organized, making it easy to find what you're looking for. The staff members are generally helpful and knowledgeable, ready to assist with any inquiries. The IKEA Restaurant is a great spot to grab a quick bite and refuel during your shopping trip. Overall, IKEA North York provides a convenient and enjoyable shopping experience for those seeking quality products at affordable prices. #HomeFurnishingParadise #AffordableStyle #IKEANorthYork

Do yourself a favour, buy 10 items or less at a time, so you can do self checkout. Slowest cashiers in the world. 34 minutes on queue, with 4 people in front of me! Also 3 employees standing around (to be fair, one seemed to be the manager, tho she wasn't managing much), while 3 "worked". In fairness, the cashier on the right seemed minimally competent, but her actual machine was having issues. The other two looked like the bunnies using generic batteries from that old commercial. I love ikea, their things are well thought out, the food is decent, the prices are good. But god above finding minimally competent people is a challenging that's elluding this store so far.

Truly one of the greatest restaurants of all time. The liveliness, the ambience, the quick service, the abundance of seating area and the food at that pricepoint are outstanding. I highly recommend the poutine with 4 extra meatballs - the poutine is well coated in their gravy and has no shortage of cheese curds (it is almost as good as Costco poutine!), and the meatballs are a classic. I will be back soon for some more Swedish goodness. Also, they sell furniture here too interestingly enough, so if you need to take a walk after eating you can take a look at what they have to offer. What an interesting concept!

This location often doesn't carry matching items. For example, you could find plenty of plastic bins, but none of the lids are in stock. Here is a recent example of carrying the seat cover in dark grey, but the seat back in dark blue. They do not carry the seat back in dark grey. The dark blue cover isn't even listed on their website. Where did this come from Self checkout lines closed. Serviced checkout has small conveyer belt system that makes it very easy for people to place glass items on it and have toppled off the belt to break. Long lines at checkout and no self checkout. The restaurant in IKEA is a must visit. I personally love the food they serve and it’s not at all expensive. You can find a lot of options… we tried haddock and chips, dime cake, soup, garlic bread, broccoli and potato bites (my fav) and soft drink. It’s a self service restaurant. You can visit any IKEA location to enjoy their food. I love to come back again and again. Even shopping in IKEA is always fun. This store has everything you want and at reasonable price. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Do check it out..!!!

Very good experience. Went there with the family and we spent several hours there. It's nice to go through all the departments as they have many different setups, and even if you don't buy anything, you can get ideas from it. We also attended the restaurant, the food was pretty good. It's not the cheapest place because you start getting things and it adds up a lot at the end, but also it's not very expensive, just like a meal in the mall or something like that. Overall, we had a great day.

It can be a bit of a hassle getting in and out of this location at times. Definitely skip trying to park on the lower level and head straight for the upper level parking. It's a very busy location but tends to have good stock levels of all the products. If you are going for a specific item make sure you check stock levels online before you go. Also don't forget to get your cart before going to the showroom. Why they don't have carts up there to grab is beyond me.

  • Rachelle Lopez

Love the restaurant but wish there’s recyclable boxes when you want to do take out like they provide at other locations. The young woman serving us food needs to be taught how to speak to Client, no smile and answers in condescending manner like we bothered her. This is the reason we frequent the Etobicoke location they have awesome restaurant staff. Ikea in general never have my products we need, always waiting. I enjoyed checking the new products though

Genuinely amazing place to buy cheap furniture from. Look out for deals and promotions to save even more money. They have many great housewares in the Marketplace downstairs that are usually priced well below other retailers. The return line is usually pretty long(I had to wait around 30 minutes on a Monday afternoon) but the checkout is pretty fast. The restaurant seems to have decent food as well.

  • The Canadian Commie

I ordered a wardrobe and one of the pieces broke in my hands. I contacted them for a replacement piece, which they said they would deliver, and never did. The staff is obviously exhausted and overworked; friendly, and trying to help, but obviously exploited. Overpriced, and inconvenient. IKEA used to be about inexpensive but reasonable quality. Now it's just expensive trash. Will not shop again.

I go to buy IKEA plastic bags because they are strong and thick, but the largest sizes, 4.5 and 6 liters, are always not available. There are only sizes under 3 liters. I've been here three times on purpose, but there's no big size. It's close to my house, so I can buy things when I'm in a hurry, so it's convenient, but it's always a pity that they're out of stock. I love the sweets here too.

  • abae

I always enjoy eating at the ikea restaurant here! And I’m very happy to see that the prices of the Swedish meatballs still under $10. They used to include different vegetables (broccoli, carrots, etc) but have swapped for peas. That is understandable with inflation. We had dinner, then did some shopping before the store closed. Parking is a lot easier if you are there on a weekday evening.

  • Anna M

For a low cost furniture store, the restaurant is pretty good. Spacious, a lot of seats near the huge windows, well organized foot flow. Meatballs are a favourite, the tomato soup was surprisingly good as well as the macaroni salad and the garlic bread (soft and yummy). The salmon wasn’t as good, I won’t order this again but overall, a good experience.

  • Dipen Pandya

Amazing place for furniture. Home / office or everything you want in decor. Hundreds of varieties in Chairs, Sofa sets Storage cabinets, wardrobes, beds .. Amazing pricing The only thing is that it's DIY only. I like the ready made furniture options for entire rooms / bedrooms / living room for any size you want.. Free parking as well Just amazing

  • Justin Chang

Wow busy for a Friday.. place is a maze lol .. need to learn the shortcut or ask someone quick..or else it's gonna take 2 hrs to get out... The breakfast and lunch/ dinner is d best price.  Very affordable and good . The dessert is the best out there ... but unfortunately sold out Great place to shop around and let the family walk

  • Jacqueline LaBlonde

No staff! I hate going to IKEA when I just want to run in and out. When I have no time to get lost in the maze. They've really cut down their staff. I spent 20 minutes looking for a specific KALAX insert. I also needed to purchase 2 magnetic knife holders but I completely forgot cause spent too long looking for the inserts.

  • Shyam Dadimuni

Worst IKEA store. Prices are wrong. Customer has to go and get the pictures of price. This is happen to me and few other customers in express checkout. They even check timestamp of the photo. They do not have enough technical knowledge to know that timestamp can be edited. What a waste of time.

  • David Pope

First time in this store but seemed exactly like every other IKEA store I've been in. Found only 1 style of kitchen cart in showroom & not impressed. But in old stock area near checkout, I found exactly what I wanted at a greatly reduced price! It was a floor model - & I happily bought it!

  • Simply EMIE

This is a huge place. So prepare walking the whole store when shopping here. Price is reasonable. Beautiful furniture always modern and updated. Great ideas to re create your room and upgrade your appliances. Lots of parking. The food court not so busy after the pandemic. Foods are tasty.

  • Donna Shen

Since Covid the candle section has almost disappeared. There are way too many ways to get lost. The cafeteria is a great experience and prices are very reasonable. There is too much area to walk even though. There are short cuts but those are still too far of a walk for older people.

  • Purple Dragon

Overall great experience. The staff is super friendly and there is plenty of parking space at this location. The food was amazing (as always) and affordable. Highly recommend trying out their almond cake, which can be purchased fresh at the restaurant or frozen in the grocery section

  • Allan C

Great cafe food selection at affordable prices. I had the meatballs, haddock and fries, and berry cheesecake. Not too busy on weekdays, but I recommend getting there by 7pm for dinner if you still want good selection. Their cheesecake no longer has berries...

  • C. San

Always a great experience shopping here. Two levels of parking. Very quick fast dining options in both the restaurant and the take out counter at the exit. EV chargers are located on upper level. Most doors are automated. Overall accessible location

  • Lilly Milojevic

Great place to shop and have a healthy lunch! Lovely restoran with amazing food, coffee, and deserts. Modern furniture for affordable prices. Big selection of chairs and balcony sets in nice bright colors. Some items are on sale!

  • Debankar Dutta

Ikea offers some of best affordable furniture and other items. Wish they had more stores in GTA. The parking is easy and is not usually filled up especially during weekdays. The cafeteria closes 1 hour early.

  • Paris Torshizi

It is very crowded, especially on the weekends, and not clean. I enjoy walking around and drinking coffee. Customer service is good, but most of the time you can't find anyone to get assistance.

  • Maryam Ghaffari

Great location. The parking is very limited and causes traffic! Good staff, very clean and good kitchen If you are on a budget you can easily get a full fish and chips with fries for $9.

  • Hasan Kazmi

Impressed on the first visit. Kids loved it too. Customer services is top notch. Every staff is friendly and help you with respect and a smile. Shopped here twice with in 3 days.

  • Kinson Chik

The kids center actually opened before 11am even though the sign and online says 11am. Not sure what there is the play inside but the one in Vaughan can have windows for viewing.

  • Teena Sharma

A great place to find aesthetic home decor, creative ideas and awesome food at a reasonable price. Be it purposely or without an aim in mind, you’d love getting lost at IKEA.

  • Sreya

  • Laurence Goldstein

By far the most organized marketplace friendly helpful staff of any Ikea I’ve ever been too (including Malmö !) Love the meatball sandwich with loganberry juice.

  • A Team Originals

They couldnt send specialized order properly. Contractors who Work for them aren't the best nor bad but worst. Not happy at all. Spent over $1000.

  • Wafik Youssef

A big variety of everything… furniture, appliance, food … etc I had breakfast there (I don’t recommend it- it’s not their thing)

  • Nafis Parvin
