Recently, my family visited IKEA for the second time. We live 3 hours away. Our first visit we toured Smaland. They had not opened it yet. That's all my son talked about on our way there. He was so excited. We go to register. The associate told him he was too tall to enter. He was right on the line at the height measurement. The sign said to remove shoes first before being measured. He had his shoes on. I asked if he could remove his shoes and be measured again. He said no he will still be too tall. I knew that was incorrect but didn't want to argue. The man gave him a coupon for a free ice-cream or cinnamon bun at the Bistro. We said thank you and left. My son was completely disappointed but we tried to make light of things and just shop. We went to purchase his ice-cream. The place was closed and not to be open all day. That was another disappointment. While I was checking out, my husband took my son back to Smaland and explained he just wanted to visit. He was super excited about going and we didn't even want to take advantage of the services. Just to please let him play for a few minutes and we would sit close by and wait. The guy still refused to let him in. The area was not crowded. Maybe 2 other kids of which one girl was even taller than my son. My husband came back and told me. I went back, told my son to remove his shoes and be measured in front of the associate. It was a girl this time. Shift had changed. She couldn't argue with me because it was obvious he was not too tall. She told me to register him and said something under her breath I couldn't quite understand. I think she said "but I'm not going to be held responsible." I went to the computer to register him but was having trouble entering his height. I asked for help. She refused to help and said that she could not leave her station. I said that is fine I understand but is there not anyone available to help me. She would not find me any help. I left with my child to find the manager. I told the manager what happened. She wouldn't even make eye contact with me as I was talking to her. She sent someone to help me register him. As I was waiting behind another parent registering her child, the girl associate at Smaland began to tell the guy associate that followed me to help me that my son was too tall and that is why she would not let him in. I told my son to go to the height board and be measured again because he was not over the line. The man asked me how old he was. I said 9. He said the ages are 3-7. That is not true. That is not on any signs or their website about ages. At this point my son didn't even want to go in. I went back to the manager. I ripped the coupon in her face because the coupon was not any good. I told her to return everything I purchased and I will never be back. I give this store a zero-rating.

I got my dresser delivered on October 23th, I installed the next day. After I spend 4 hours almost hitting to the last part, I realized there are missing screws for my top cover. I called the customer right away, I told him the number for the screws, the guy said he got the order for me and it can be arrived in 2 to 3 business days. Everything so smooth right. But after 4 days I haven’t received the part, I called IKEA again, this time I spoke to the supervisor. I told her what happened. Then she said they didn’t have the order for the part for me, it’s not in stock. That suddenly pissed me off. She said I can go to the store and pick up the part. I paid for the delivery fee and now there is something missing and you told me go the the store to pick it up. Are you kidding me? I said you guys just a liars to the customer and not doing your job rights. Then she created a new order for the part, again about takes 7 to 10 days. Until now, I still haven’t received the part. It was a such an awful experience to shop with IKEA, and their customer support center is terrible.

There is plenty of parking and easy access to the store entrance. It is very well organized and reasonably priced. I love the cafeteria. The food is good, and the drink selection/refills make it a great value for breakfast or lunch. Shown below is the regular meatballs with two sides: squash and fries. Add the glass for unlimited refills, and now you have a meal for $7.61. Not shown at the entrance of the store you can also order on the touch pad, for example 1.00 beef hot dogs and .90 for the vegan ones, to name a few. Lastly, I took some pictures of the different home displays throughout the store. The four new pictures with the concrete floor represent the Returns Department. You can use a touch screen kiosk, which is enabled with your mobile no or a website to log in, and then you are added to the line. There are two areas for seating, and high tables are equipped with what appears to be wireless charging. In my case, I processed my order online, and if you provide the order number, it will expedite the process.

It's been 3 yrs since I was there. I stopped in for lunch and to look at storage cabinets. I was surprised to see that vegan meatballs are on the menu. Very tasty, you Cant' tell the difference between the original and Vegan meatballs. I was disappointed there was only 3 items of dessert on display at 1pm. The warehouse staff took the time to assist me, out of their busy chores. I tried to find things on my own, but they are very helpful with senior citizen customers. If I didn't see an item on the display floor, they used hand held devices to direct me to the warehouse locations. Finally, I stopped by the market place to buy a package of vegan meatballs. the kiosk payment machine ran out of receipt paper, but the floor supervisor was helpful to refill it and print me out a receipt. All in all, I spent 3.5 hrs, got the last package of vegan meatballs, lingonberry jelly, frozen salmon, lemon dill sauce, ginger bread cookies, a lunch meal at the cafe' and oh yeah a storage cabinet.

So my wife and I picked out furniture for an entire room. We had some issues with availability, so we called the customer service line. The lady was very helpful and friendly. She helped us finalize our order and helped me pick a place to pick it up from. Unfortunately the store I picked up from was Atlanta. Once I arrived for my schedule pick up, I checked in online and waited. The waiting area bay door never opened so I went and found someone. I got attitude right off the bat. My order was waiting for me at the door once I got backed up to the door. I had 25 boxes. The staff did not assist with loading and I had to load the boxes. I asked if I could use the restroom, seeing and how I drove 6 hours to get my order. I was told no one was allowed in and I could not use the restroom. I have been to a different IKEA and the service was great, so I was disappointed to say the least with Atlanta.

IKEA is usually a 4 or 5 star place, however my experience at this IKEA was not great. We traveled through the store like normal, and it seemed like half of it was under construction changing out the displays. I understand, however non were being worked on at the time. Whole sections were being converted behind the curtains. Also, only self serve checkouts were available. Which caused a big line even when the place was not crowded. Finally and the reason why we came, the snack place was closed. We asked why. The associated stages that it had closed hours ago. What? Are you kidding? All of these factors point to very poor planning and management. Hopefully this location gets better.

Ikea cancelled my order for delivery for a couch I paid for last week in person and now I have been playing phone tag with their customer support line waiting for the store supervisor to call me back... (no one ever called me) this sucks considering I waited a week for it to be delivered and holidays are next week. I usually don’t like leaving bad reviews but this was such a horrible experience for me. *Update: I went to the store in person and it was hard to get help right away but when one out of many managers there tried to help, I finally was able to get a refund back. (Although there were other mistakes made, I won’t say what, I appreciate the person who did help me)

This place is huge. I shopped online ahead of my store visit. I ate lunch there and it was good. I got to see the items I was buying before checking out. Finding my items in the warehouse was easy. I used the website tool via a browser on my phone to locate them. Plenty of carts. Check out line wasn’t too long. Parking was spacious for my full size truck. All the employees I interacted with were pleasant and the right amount of helpful. Well done. I put my new office chair together when I got home. Instructions in the box were sufficient. Feels sturdy and comfortable. Highly recommend IKEA if they have something you want.

  • Kevin Mahon

I was very disappointed in being charged a higher amount at check-out than item price clearly listed on the shelf. Checker acknowledged that shelf price was lower but “I have to charge the price that comes up on the register”. I asked her to call manager and she did. Fifteen minutes later the manager sent a worker out to tell me that the higher price was correct. This was a poor customer experience: my food got cold and I left recognizing that the employees are not empowered to make a simple correction. This is a Management training issue sending a customer who just spent $500 home disappointed.

Great IKEA location. They’re often stocked with whatever you’re looking for, and the online ordering and pick up system is really seamless (I recommend it if you don’t want to go inside). If you do go in and know what you want, I’d skip the showroom and enter via the “As-is” section to check the bargains before you enter. Pro Tip: sign up for IKEA family so that you always have a record of your purchases and receipts. Keep a picture of the barcode on your phone so you always have it on you. They accept open / used returns for up to a year (or more) with the receipt. You’re welcome

AVOID GOING TO THIS LOCATION. This store is absolute nightmare. The click & collect department, are rude and dismissive. The lady in charge refuses to give her name, and claims she had no idea “her system was down for three hours” IKEA: That means you paid your employees for THREE HOURS to not help customers outside. Corporate response, “whoopsies” we will let someone know. (Yes they couldn’t specify who that was) One guy drove a rented uhaul, picked up half the order. Came back for the other half. And the lady in charge basically said, it sucks to be you right now.

IKEA is a world leader in supplying furniture. From the top to the bottom, you will find everything you need for your home or office or kitchen . The place is huge. The setup is so technical and simple to access. They even have different type of breakfast available for shoppers. I think it’s a brilliant idea. The Bacon and scrambled eggs with fries was a Big hit. The Meatballs breakfast set meal was out of this world. The sides was mashed potatoes with green beans. Was a great experience. Happy Eating !

Visited Ikea for the first time. Having known that this is a huge store, my wife and I were quite spprehensive as to how we would go around and cover the entire store. However, we found it so well organized. If one wishes to skip a section, or one wants to revisit a particular section, there are short cuts available, which we found very convenient. The display and product range is fabulous. We ended up buying things beyond our list. Would love to visit every time we come and stay in Atlanta.

Always love coming here. I would really recommend going early if you're going on the weekend to avoid the big crowds. We've got a ton of great furniture that we've had for years now and love it. It's a great store for those looking for a modern style in their home. The cafe is always super good, the food is reasonably priced, and consistently delicious. I'm a big fan of all of the environmentally friendly things they do, such as reducing plastic waste and encouraging recycling.

My visit to IKEA in Atlanta, Georgia was made even better by trying their famous meatballs. The gravy sauce was incredibly savory and delicious. I appreciate that we could choose two sides to go with the meatballs, and we opted for mashed potatoes and beans – a perfect combination that we truly enjoyed. After this hearty meal, we had the energy to shop even more vigorously. IKEA’s meatballs are a must-try when you visit!

  • Fe Love

I love the items offered but to get out the store there are not enough check out post and I feel like I was trapped in a maze to get out the store. I went to the food court for Pizza and seasoning need to be offered to spice up the pizza like oregano, garlic, salt etc it's the little things. But if you have little ones and you like to shop For a long period. I believe there is a play zone for the kids while you shop.

Saturday is as busy as it gets. At least there is plenty of parking especially underground. I admire people working there, I bet it's not easy. Lines were easy 1/4 mile long and there were multiple. Prices have gone up since the last time I was there years ago but we have hit some serious inflation. It's still an affordable option to furnish your home especially if your home is under 800 sq.ft.

  • Xochil R. Buchholz

I have visited this location a few times and I feel like it’s never fully updated. Some prices do no not reflect what are advertised or items are not stocked. I’m Not sure if it’s due to bad timing or it being the only location in the Atlanta area, but if you are visiting for the first time, try not to have high expectations for inventory or demo rooms.

  • Katie Vancura

I always enjoy my visits to Ikea. I tend to go during the week if possible since the weekends can be busier. It's like a tourist spot on the weekends. The store, despite being super busy, is always clean and organized. There is plenty of parking and the store is easy to find since it's pretty much a straight shot off the interstate.

  • Sharlisa

I checked out Ikea to get some new office furnishings. Of course they have great stuff but there’s a lot less staff than I remember being there a few years ago. Be prepared to use the website to navigate your way through product information. If I had recommendation it would be that they need someone in lighting to help with bulbs.

  • Kimberly Wright

It was vibe today! This location is celebrating it's birthday this weekend and had a lot of extra specials. They also had staff galore throughout the store which was much needed. I have been a customer since the doors open and the minor improvements are awesome, especially the check out and order pull computers at the end. …

  • Aurora Read

Food was tasty, I expected more than a cafeteria line through the cafe though. The displays were very well thought out and stunning. It was kind of hard to find specific items in the warehouse area. Also it was such a large building that you lose track of time and it feels endless but definitely a good experience with friends.

  • Candy Dankenbrink

Coworkers and I like yo drop by for lunch sometimes. Prices are shockingly high for the food now, and it used to be affordable. Lunch was very slow, so that was nice. It was neat and cleanc with plenty of open seating. We shopped a little through the market to pick up bins and baggies along the way out, too.

  • Charlotte Pines

The place is a maze and amazing with displays. Of course, I got off track, but Mario was able to find where we needed to be and came back to walk us there. Customer service was abundant even in the food court. Things were clean and organized with plenty of ideas before your purchase.

  • Brandy Montano

IKEA is the absolute best place to shop, if you are looking for storage options and other space-saving furniture! The prices are very affordable, and most items have several color/material options. You can order in the app, but you have to visit the store for the full experience.

  • Yash Kiarashi

I might be wrong but the prices of Ikea furnitures raised more than its competitors. While a go you could buy furnitures for very reasonable price but right now its almost the same if you buy it from online store with same/similar quality and free delivery and return option.

  • Hien Nguyen

Everything you need for your home comes with affordable price. Be prepared to spend at least 3 hours here as you will get to experience their maze design, so don’t be surprised with your impulsive purchases as you’ll be exposed to every brilliant home product & design ideas.

  • Andrew Arroyo

Good, new furniture for a cheap price although its not very sturdy but as long as you dont have kids climbing your bookshelf itll be fine. Even if you don't plan on buying anything it's fun just to look at all the different rooms. Make sure to try the Swedish sundae

  • Shantae Shaffer

I really enjoy the staged areas. Great ideas and this place is huge. You literally have to walk through the whole store. Make sure you have a game plan when you go. Otherwise you might end up leaving with a lot more than you thought. Happy shopping …

  • Amanda Wu

Horrible experience with IKEA in home delivery experience! The packages were supposed to be put to the second floor of the guest bedroom. The driver called 10 minutes before he arrived and said that his helper quit suddenly and he couldn’t

  • Atish Lakhu

Absolutely horrible. Found my item went to the area to find the item. No uniform way to locate item based on aisle. Took too long to locate. Asked for help told had to do it on this machine and it will give you a code and you go to check

  • Felicity Geiman

Ikea is one of my favorite places. Do the lines get long? Yes. Are items out of stock a lot since COVID? Also yes. Do I still enjoy getting completely lost in the showroom and buying more than I intended when I walked in? Yes. Yes I do.

  • David Dio da'Goat

Store is going downhill while corporate has record profits and they are continuously cutting staff and perks. Customer service took over 40 minutes because they had one agent working on a Sunday. Food quality and selection was low, and

  • C Ajar

I was there twice and only one associate asked if we needed assistance. We went to pick the item and the guy at the register seemed bothered that I asked how was his day. Went to check out the total was approximately $700-800 in total

  • Allison Montgomery

Purchased two small dressers. Paid for delivery. The company they contract out to-RXO had a driver attempt delivery on a Sunday night. He stated GPS did not show listed address for delivery. Called IKEA customer service, she confirmed

  • Regina Renfro

Always a favorite. Clean restaurant and restrooms. All the dreaming and future planning you can do here! All the things you didn't know you were missing or needed are here! The Swedish Meatballs and Mashed potatoes are delicious!

  • Makken Yu

I bought this long desk for my setup. Also the plants and others. I love this place I spend over $500 shopping here. My mom and I decided to not to come because we loved it and expensive (Dw we definitely come back.) …

  • Anton Taylor

Prices are more expensive than the original ikea days. Quality did not increase. You’re probably better off looking other places for most things they sell as you will get better quality for around the same price!

  • Eric Montufar

Really good place to buy low cost furniture. It is q pretty big store do it may take you some time to find what you're looking for. The restaurant is also good. Be cautious because it is too crowded on weekends.

  • DhongDhong Thopten

If you go to IKEA without any plans then you will stuck here longer than you expected. If you bring your IDEAS with you. Then you will find Everything what you need & also save’s time as well. I love IKEA.

  • Torri Richard

This IKEA is mad big. You should get there early. I only went for an hour and need three hours to walk around. I also bought this quick patio rug that was to small. Also here a picture of part of a start.

  • niki gh

Ikea is a wonderful place. Very huge , clean and well organized . All the things you need for your home you can find there . The prices are affordable. I love this place . I highly recommend it.

  • Comfy Chris

Please don’t use technology to profile people. Check out machine requested multiple times for an associate to view items before fully checking out. I’m an honest person, no need for that.

  • Bruce Jarman

Biggest Ikea I've ever been to. I bought two bookshelves. They were delivered two days ago and assembled yesterday. Everything was just perfect. Another satisfied customer.
