This place has changed A LOT! My husband and I have a membership and have been going there for date nights for years! It changed even more after covid! What makes me angry now is the $75 hold on a card. My teen daughter and her boyfriend went to see a movie last night. As teens you know they don’t have much, they were going to have a simple item and drink. They didnt have enough for the hold so guess what? They couldn’t eat! They sat through an entire movie watching others eat and smelling their food! Its sad and unfair. They couldn't even go out to order an item and bring it back, because they put that amount on hold no matter what! I am so angry about that, its a disgusting policy especially now that everyone is struggling. People are allowed to watch a movie and have limited funds for that experience, no one should put a limit on a person’s spending, not only is it unfair, its humiliating for the customer! Basically, unsuspecting adults and innocent teenagers have to pay the price for their failing business. SHAME ON IPIC FOR BEING THIS DISGUSTING BULLY! Edited since they felt the need to reply: you apparently missed or better yet, completely ignored the main issue here. Not everyone (teens specifically) have that much to spend. They couldn’t go pay outside either for their specific food like a normal establishment. This place is just as ghetto as any other place with their broken, creaky seats, messy bathrooms etc. and now this. No one needed your tone deaf response.
Not what it used to be. Our food orders didn't come out together. We ordered first and we're served last. My burger was cold. My son's burger came five minutes later. The projection of the movie was properly adjusted and the image was tilted back. There were also vertical blue line during some of the film. I had to walk behind the front desk/registers to validate my ticket after the show and the card reader at the parking gate wouldn't read my card. All in all, definitely not worth the $100 spent. That's my last time going to this theater.
This review is for the lack of vegan options on the extensive menu. I called to ask about the vegan options (because it says to do so on the menu) and the person did not want to go out of her way to ask the kitchen. She instead kept telling me there were plenty vegetarian options (which isn’t vegan..). If I have to modify something, or my only options are a plain salad & French fries, it is not accommodating. This is Los Angeles, there is no reason there shouldn’t be vegan options.
We enjoyed it. Cashiers, waiters and all staff we bumped into were very polite, pleasant and friendly. Food was well done and freshly cooked and there was even keto dessert. Yum! Didn’t really see many blankets so I let my child use the one we found and I ordered tea to keep myself warm. Bathrooms were very clean. The parking can be slightly confusing so it would be best to arrive a little earlier if you don’t know where it is. And the movie was swell too
My first time on this theater and what a great experience! We rented one of the rooms for a private event. Cozy yet super modern atmosphere - including two bars and good service. That's right, you can be watching a movie and order food and some drinks and they will bring it to your table. And yes indeed, between each pair of coaches you have a table where you can leave your items and orders. I definitely DEFINITELY will go back soon. Perfect place for a date
Wonderful theater. My friend bought a ticket for a a showing at 7 when the rest of us bought it for 10pm and we didn’t realize until 6:30pm. The staff allowed him to switch his ticket and come to the later showing. I appreciated this a lot. The food is expensive but the popcorn is really good. I signed up for rewards here and I absolutely think it’s worth it. I love how they show a mix of new and old movies. Wonderful all around.
This was such a lovely theater! Definitely worth the price for such a comfy experience. My partner and I did not partake in the dine-in option when we went, but the Theater 1 hostess was very welcoming and polite. Security was also very helpful, as I misplaced my ticket for the parking lot validation. Definitely will come back here in the future!
I love this theater, it's very intimate. Staff is customer service friendly, although the man outside directing traffic should wear something to identify that he works there because he comes off a little intimidating when interacting with customers. Other than that we love it.
Do you want a nice meal while sharing a cozy space with new friends and watching a movie? This theater feels more like getting invited to a rich friend's house for a viewing than going to a movie theater- its pricier, but great for seeing a movie you're really excited about.
