The museum is located in the school's parking lot near the field.of Enter through door 13. It'small but very enriching museum. The amount of culture in this location is invaluable not only to the community, but the country. There is evidence that the school board is trying to force this wonderful museum out if it's location and that would be a huge disservice to the community and the history contained within. Please come visit and take in all the wonderful information available.

Enlightening and bought a perspective to our students that they really need to have. With such a great resource here in Indianapolis, I recommend all schools and all ages to go and experience the information that is necessary for our future leaders to be properly educated to be successful now, and for the near future. The instructor was phenomenal!! I plan to personally take my children to spend quite some time there soaking up as much as possible.

Top 5 museum experience I’ve had so far. The museum is very descriptive and you will learn something new I promise you. I came from Omaha Nebraska and anticipated checking the place out for four months. My wait was well worth it! Love all the exhibits! Support your black museums

Thinking it would just be photos on the wall enlarged from yearbooks, boy was I in for a surprise! This place is an unknown gem. Why pay big bucks to see African art and read about history when you can visit this cozy tasteful exhibit where you can park at the door, meet and converse with the curator right in the heart of historic Lockefield Gardens.

I originally knew of Crispus Attucks because of the athletics program, but the museum contains much more. The curator offers tours by appointment and does a wonderful job of tying together multiple areas of history and culture.

Was able to visit the museum today with some of our teens from church. Had an amazing time. Was not aware such great history was in our backyard. Mr. Chester was very welcoming and knowledgeable. I recommend everyone come out and see what this museum has to offer.

It’s a very nice museum. I’ve never been good with past and present racism and racial issues, so to see what my mother, grandparents and Fore parents went through it was just A very emotional visit. Great job on the history compilation.

A small yet powerful museum that started the history of my people from the Pyramids. The receptionist was very polite and professional. The Museum provided us with a lot of information especially as a visual supplement to what we read.
