My wife and I were visiting from out of town, and did not want to miss Sunday Mass. We felt so welcomed, it was unbelievable. Prior to the beginning of Mass, we were speaking with one of the ushers about just how beautiful the church is. As we were waiting for Mass to begin, I tell my wife that I felt we are exactly where we are supposed to be right now. No sooner had I said this, when that same usher asked if we would present the gifts. At the end of Mass, the priest asks if there any visitors, and if they could stand. We were greeted with applause. Then he asks if there were any birthdays being celebrated, and it just so happens it was my wife’s birthday. As the priest is leaving at the end of Mass, he stops an personally wishes my wife a happy birthday. I cannot say enough good things about this church, the parishioners, and priest.

Wow! Beautiful church for my nieces wedding, the sweetest church wedding coordinator, and an awesome priest who stepped in,due to illness of the original priest. He was excellent: philosophical, kind, funny, just so endearing. I was one of the readers and the sound system was Perfection! …

I've been going to this church for years. From baptism to communion to confirmation, my whole life is here at Immaculate Heart of Mary. I especially love the interior with the stain-glass windows. Service is always great to listen to, since the priests know their stuff. I'll be going to this church for many more years.

Gorgeous church hidden downtown. I’ve lived here my entire life and never knew this beautiful structure existed. The walls are floor to ceiling frescoes with huge stained glass windows. It isn’t a big church, but one of the most detailed and exquisitely decorated Catholic Churches in San Antonio.

This is one of the the places I enjoyed the most in San Antonio. 1 reason is because this church is historic. The people who come to help out in the mass were very polite. I recommend people coming to this church. Don't miss out on a very great experience.

It was an amazing experience honestly the community and the ceremony were both just amazing and welcoming i would honestly recommend this to anyone who is looking for mass near downtown without having to deal with the traffic of downtown.
