We rode this at night in late December, so it was more of a train ride of lights. And there was plenty to see. My kids loved it, but mostly because they're young and never get the chance to travel by train. On the downside, you're not going to see many, if any, animals. And yes, I thought it was overpriced, but it's a tourist attraction, and that's they way they go.
This was a huge disappointment! We only cought a glimpse of 1 elephant through the open door of it's enclosure. The rest of the ride was past buildings, fences, roads, and parking areas for employees.
Probably one of the worst train rides at a zoo I've ever been on. They really need to expand the track through the rest of the zoo. All you see is the back of buildings and a speedway gas station.
This ride is a joke! Do not waste your money. You see the backs of buildings and perhaps a zebra.
We were able to see elephants, giraffes and some other animals up close. Although it was quick.
