Title: Nightmare Pros The benefits are good. Spending account $600. Get promoted even if you don't know what you are doing. Cons: These individuals are, without a doubt, the most deceitful and treacherous colleagues I've ever had the displeasure of working with Ops & Planning. I am astounded by the overwhelming self-importance displayed by the management team. Initially, teams were granted the autonomy to determine their office attendance frequency. However, the situation has taken an abrupt turn, as we are now being compelled to adhere to a mandatory office presence policy. Ironically, the company claims to prioritize environmental sustainability. The majority of us spend hours commuting to the office. We have voiced our belief that working from home surpasses the inconvenience of enduring hours of traffic congestion and transit delays. On top of that, we can't work at a closer office because we MUST "continue to work from our home office. While it would be ideal to have offices situated closer to our homes to promote a better work-life balance, unfortunately, there is insufficient space available to accommodate such a setup. We can all play Kahoot games in the office this way. The overwhelming workload is astounding, and it appears that management remains indifferent to the situation. Pay is below industry standards and having workloads of two positions. Numerous meetings are convened to address the inefficiencies arising from poor leadership communication skills. This year, Intact chose not to contribute their share to the pension fund for employees taking one year break. The director, lacking the ability to make decisions, consistently relies on a manager for guidance, which is attributed to their incompetence. The manager pretends to be caring and supportive, masking hidden intentions, all the while appearing friendly and ready to take advantage of opportunities. Employee insurance for home and auto offers no distinct advantages; it essentially mirrors any other insurance coverage you might choose. Micromanagement is incredibly excessive, and it seems that management not only engages in it but derives a sense of satisfaction from doing so. Open Communication: Encourage management to foster a culture of open and honest communication. Employees should feel comfortable expressing their concerns without fear of retaliation. Flexibility: Suggest a more flexible approach to office attendance, especially considering the environmental sustainability goals. Allow employees to have a say in their working arrangements, balancing the benefits of working from home with the occasional office presence. Leadership Development: Recommend leadership development programs and coaching for managers and directors to improve decision-making and communication skills. A stronger leadership team can positively impact the entire organization. Micromanagement: Address the issue of excessive micromanagement and encourage managers to trust their teams and allow them more autonomy.

So, I have dealt with the same Broker for over 25 years. REM Insurance in Comber, ON. They have always provided me with the best Insurance that suits my needs. I have been with Intact since they started and was previously with the company they bought ING. I have never had a claim in my life. Thankfully. One fateful day, due to the weather we had recently, I hit a sinkhole. Ground just swallowed me up. I thought I could get out, just dug in deeper, then the hole filled with water. Never being in an accident before, I guess I really didn't think I was in an accident and assumed I'd have to pay the repair bills. My wife told me to call the Insurance Broker and ask. I was put in touch with a really nice Insurance Adjuster named Candice. She asked a lot of standard questions and I emailed her photos, video, and witness contact information. I was pretty emotionally upset and she was so nice to me. She kept telling me it was going to be okay. She was extremely professional, but also personable. Pretty sad when a 45 year old man gets teary eyed. After gathering all the information and an agent went to my dealership to assess the damage, Candice informed me my claim was approved and my Jeep would be repaired. The damage was extensive. It was covered under my Comprehensive Clause and she said my rates will not go up. She immediately put me in touch with Enterprise Rental nearest to my house and I was quickly put in a rental. Candice was in regular contact with the dealership and myself, keeping me informed of how long it was going to take. I see a lot of negative reviews about Intact, but for me the experience was completely painless. Candice arranged the Enterprise Rental car and it took me less than 10 minutes to walk in and drive out. She provided me with her contact info and told me to call her directly any time if I had questions or concerns. I never had to because she always kept me informed. My wife has always been with Intact as well. Our bank and various other companies keep trying to get us to switch, but that is why we go through a Broker. They assessed our needs and put us with the best company possible. And for as long as I can remember it has been with Intact. Thank you Candice and Intact for being there for me in my time of distress. You definitely have customers for life. The pictures may seem deceiving, but I am not even remotely close to the lake. Hundreds of yards away. That's me hooking up the tow truck chain.

Poor customer service.I had accident in November and it’s end of January but my car is still at Intact’s recommended body shop and whenever I call them to ask for the update about the repairs there reply is that they are waiting for the parts. I don’t even have the rental vehicle because the rental amount reached to the limit while I was waiting to move my car from collision centre to the assured body shop . In the beginning when I spoke to my insurance they said they will extend my rental coverage for two weeks because it took two weeks to release my vehicle from the collision centre. But when I call my adjuster to ask if they gonna increase my rental coverage, he said they never told me to increase the rental coverage.I request him in the email if he can forward my request to one of his manager didn’t get any response. I was being on hold for 2-3 hours every time I call them but never got answered.What is my fault ?? And lady working at the assured body shop was being rude by saying they are not making car parts , but mam I have right to call and ask for the update about my vehicle because I’m paying for it. I lost my job because it was in aurora and less public transport available.I bought my vehicle just to go to my work. I ended up loosing my work but still paying for the insurance. They better to ride off my vehicle because it’s so much depressing for me and i can’t handle this stress anymore.

Warning on getting a rental car/waiting for a service inspection I was told two different things from different customer service representatives. Before going to pick up my rental car, I called into Customer Server to check that even if the work was not covered, that Intact would pay for the rental car for the delay period before the Intact inspector went to go and assess the vehicle. Being assured by your Customer Service representative was the only reason I went to go and get the rental Car. I was told that the car would be covered until the Intact inspector could go and see the vehicle, as there was a 3 day delay. When they went, my dealership called me to tell me that the work was not covered. I did not get a call from Intact to confirm this until 5 business days later. On this call, they told me the rental car was not covered by Intact nor were the repairs. Good thing that my dealership had my back and warned me to go and return the car, so that I only had it for 1 day, as they knew that Intact would not cover. I think it is pretty disappointing that the Customer Service rep that I spoke to told me that they would cover the rental car until my vehicle was assessed, because it is not drivable. I would advise that you align your service department on your own policies, so that this does not happen again in the future.

If I could give zero stars I would. This review is in regards to my sister’s home insurance. My sister was a client for Intact for 31 years. She sadly passed away in June. Being the executor of the estate, I reach out to the broker explaining the situation. Intact wanted the full coverage paid upon the renewal date of August 9th 2023. I paid it happily as I wanted to ensure the property was insured. After Intact received the payment they then came back to say since the home was vacant there would be an additional $50.00 surcharge per month. Not overly happy about the last minute additional charges, I reluctantly paid it. Then I receive a message from the broker claiming they wouldn’t insure the property past October 9th as it was vacant. Even though I was at the house numerous times a week, and it was on the market. They claim they don’t insure vacant properties. So my question is why did Intact demand I pay the entire yearly policy amount if they weren’t planning on insuring a vacant property? Instead they left me scrambling around trying to find another insurance company. Given the circumstance…shame on Intact Insurance.

I hate this company. Worst insurance experience ever. But I am stuck for a year unless I want to pay a penalty (free money for them). Their rates are too high to start, but that's so they can offer a discount if you are a good driver. How they determine that is you must use their app that monitors your driving. If you don't they bump your insurance up to an even higher payment. You cannot succeed with their app, it's a scam that lies to fail you by producing false data. It also eats your cell phone data for those that pay for it. For example, I do not drive alone ever but the app only recorded my husband being a passenger 9 out of dozens of trips. I never take transit but app says I did. At the end of the day, this company seems like a joke, a bunch of scamers making up things for an excuse to get more money. It's bad enough insurance gets away with "risk" rates which is completely stereotypes and unjust but now they play on your desire to prove your a good driver and deserve betters rate by insulting you with a lying app that justifies an already high rate increased further.

2ND UPDATE: received again a non displaced Company name and a voice message again with the person not leaving their name or ext and that's required. Not calling the main number after 27 times to be placed on hold for over 45 mins and sometimes getting cut off or transferred around. At this point it should be directed to a Manager. And on top of that had to listen to the message 4 times due to their English and not speaking up clearly. What a pathetic organization! Scary! My family have not had one claim in over half a Century with you! UPDATE: received a call from a number that didnt displace the organization that was calling! When that happens, I don't answer because it can be a marketing scam. They left a message with no extention which is needed. Unbelievable! Leaving me to start all over again! So I just called the main regular number to be placed on hold and cut off after 30 mins HELP!!!! Been with them decades with no claims! Unbelievable to get someone to help with advise/direction on making neccessary changes. Time to find another !!! Disappointing!

the absolute worse company I have dealt with. I was in an accident years ago. My insurance broker was essentially absent during everything. My bill went up and I had assumed it was bc the cost of fixing my car- I later learnt that I actually had accident forgiveness (this was not communicated to me) & the price increase came from my careless charge from the accident... which never happened. Somehow my broker had added this to my record- the only time it had ever come up is when I tried to switch companies and she used it as a way to get me to stay bc no one will insure me with my record- however I do not have a careless charge. I am currently paying $243 a month and every other company that has quoted me has quoted $78 monthly. My insurance broker said she will only fix this if I show proof of the accident- something I have to pay for....this is the brokers mistake- they made this error without proper documentation- the fact that it is now my problem and up to me to fix is the poorest customer service & job performance I have ever dealt with.

I had insurance on my brand new car and someone had hit my car. I was found 0% at fault and it took the insurance over a week to write the estimate. On top of that, the car was practically wrecked. Instead of assessing the damage, they got the body shop to take pictures of the car without even making sure it’s safe to go back on the road. They now want to use aftermarket and used parts on my new car instead of new and original parts. When speaking to a representative, they would not transfer my call to the claims advisor, and were trying to make me feel stupid because I was not accepting garbage parts on my new car. I have several code errors and lights on my dashboard and the insurance company doesn’t seem to care. Intact is horrible, pay the extra couple hundred bucks yearly with another company so at least you’re secure in an accident, especially when you aren’t at fault. The customer service is horrible, and they are very cheap avoid this place.

This has to be the WORST insurance company. For those of you who can - jump ship. You pay your premiums but when it comes time for you to need them good luck getting a hold of them, and/or settling your claim. I have been waiting since MAY for them to come through on our claim, I have been bounced around from agent to agent from adjuster to adjuster. Now I am being ghosted. This is not how you treat people. A quote from your webpage: “No matter what happened, we’ve got your back. We’ll help you get through the insurance claims process as quickly as possible, provide advice about what to do next, and walk you through it every step of the way” It should end with until you need to make a claim…then we are nowhere to be found, we’ll ghost you, and we’ll screw around until you get tired of waiting. We are out of pocket on expenses that they have approved they aren’t reimbursing, when do you call fraud on an insurance company?

We were recently involved in a car accident (not our fault - another driver mistook their gas pedal for their brake!). Luckily we were not injured. The accident occurred at around 3:30 pm, after the police left I phoned the Intact claims office to report it, this was around 4:30 - the agent instructed us where to take the our vehicle and the rental company who would have a comparable car for us - by 5:30 we had taken our damaged car to the repair facility and had our rental! It was handled so quickly and well by the people we spoke to, it was absolutely amazing! I cannot speak highly enough of ALL the people who were dealing with our claim - they were professional, kind and extremely sympathetic through it all. It is so stressful being involved in an accident and the Intact personnel made it a point to make the situation as stress free and easy as possible. So grateful to all the employees who helped us!

By far the worst insurance company I have ever deal with. I got my one year policy for $375 month, after 5 months my insurance jumped to $409 even though I didn't have any ticket or accident. After a year I didn't agree to have the a new policy for year 2023, they kept charging me $475 per month which is another 20% hike. I asked the representative to cancel my Policy in Jan 15 but they didn't cancel it until I realize that I was charged $475 for months of Feb and March. I called to customer experience team about this matter, the representative told that he will investigate the matter. After 3 days investigation I received an email in which the representative promised that I will receive a full refund for Feb and march. But the representative refunded only $342 out of $1425 and told me that the rest $1083 is the cancellation fee. Total scam, will not recommend to anyone

They took our car off the lot and we were told by the repair people that Intact had considered the car a write- off. I have written several times and we have called and literally NOBODY from Intact has confirmed that our car is considered a write-off. We have had no communication from them whatsoever. It's been months. This is the worst experience I've ever had with an insurance company. It was a minor fender bender that began this misery and not knowing what they've done with my car is causing us an enormous amount of unnecessary stress and anxiety. Their customer service is not just poor, it's non-existent. Avoid them at all cost. I wish we had. We couldn't because they bought up the very good insurance company we had dealt with for decades. We are stuck here through no fault of our own. If you have a choice, insure your car with someone else. Anyone else.

Don’t walk run away from this company! I have been with this Insurance company for a couple of years now and this is a fraud company . Don’t even enter insurance with a company like this . This company is the biggest insurance scammers and they make outrages fees for cancellation about 500+ dollars. And when you call to ask their agents about this fee they have no idea where this charge is coming from. And the agents can view that your payments are made every single month . Your better off getting insurance from the bank then a company that’s this disorganize . They want your money and they are coming after it . Their cancellation fees seems to be 55% to 80% of your policy. Plus your monthly payments. Plus some random other numbers they made up for you to pay some more. If this is not scam then what is! RUN FAST &STAY AWAY.

Horrible horrible horrible customers service. If I could give zero stars I would. I got struck (AS A PEDESTRIAN) by a crazy driver who was not mentally stable enough to operate a vehicle. And I was smooshed between her car and mine as I was attempting to load my groceries. She rammed her vehicle directly into my hip and caused $2,000 worth of damages to my car, and injured myself as well as my mental health. Intact insurance determined that the accident was MY FAULT.. even though I was not operating my vehicle, my vehicle was turned off, and I was out of the way of any traffic.. minding my own business. How is it my fault?? This company does not have your best interest in mind and does not listen to the full story of what happened when you are submitting a claim. I will be switching companies once my term is up

I am never going to use Belairdirect or Intact insurance (who owns Belairdirect and others) ever again. Their adjusters don't even follow their own rules and continually lowballing the market value without even using current information. At best, they have moved about 5% out of over a 30% value gap. They are not even aware of what the pandemic did to car values where used cars that can be bought today cost more than used card that won't be available for several months. All of my neighbours report better experience with other insurers and agree with the negative experience with both Intact and Belairdirect. I would really like to share this experience with those who are looking to move to new insurance companies. They should look to avoid them as they can count on poor appraisals when they need to make claims.

My adjuster Darlene does not return my calls or emails. She did email once or twice at the beginning then she stopped. I have to call the main line and have them transfer me to hear to get a hold of her. She called me once and addressed me by someone else’s name and I would call and tell her you haven’t called me back like you said you’ll do then she’ll say she did!!! Not sure if she’s working sober or not but it’s one of the other, working not sober or just lying and not doing her job. Either way she is dragging my claim cash out. When I called intact I was promised a phone call from Darlene’s supervisor-that was last week- but no one called me back. I wonder if intact’s owner/ CEO is aware of this treatment and slacking and dragging. Bad, bad, bad customer service experience.

Worst car insurnace company ever. I was the victim of a car theft in august and my adjuster Huma Khairi actually took 20 days to contact me and that was after i filed several complaints, because several messages and emails went unanswered by her and management. To add insult to injury, when i returned the rental car, i was advised that intact did not pay the fees as per my policy and i eneded up having to pay a portion of the cost directly out of pocket and when i inquired several times about a reimburement cheque, no one called me back. if you value your hard earned dollars and quality service when needed. I strongly erge you, especially my fellow ONA members. DO NOT insure your vehcile with this company. by far the most dishonest insurance company i have come across.

I have read many reviews on this site and it seems people only take the time to complain. When I had my accident they were with me the whole way from towing my car to making sure no one was hurt and that my car was repaired promptly and with dealer parts.The claims representative contacted me often just to make sure things were going smoothly for me. They had me in a rental car almost immediately and advised me of the progress of my repair. The only thing I wasn't happy about was that it wasn't supposed to affect my insurance rate but it increased almost 30%. I am still waiting on an explanation for this. Having said that I would recommend this company to any who ask. They made a horrible experience more bare able!

We have just had a recent claim which involved our young adult child. The overall experience was "amazing" right from the initial claim phone call. The representative answered all of our questions..directed us to the Etobicoke intact claim adjusters office. Upon our arrival, the wonderful team members took immediate care of all our concerns. Without asking the rental car was ready for us too!....a week later we got our car back all fixed up at no additional cost. I highly recommend INTACT to anyone who is looking for an amazing insurance company. We have never experienced "one stop" like we just experienced. The service is great for busy people. Thanks you INTACT for keeping us safe!

Review edited and updated June 28/23. Initially this was a negative review as I was upset with Intact Insurance and more specifically my claims handler. However once I reached out to the phone line provided in response to the review, my issues were dealt with in a speedy and fair manner, Intact even went above and beyond my expectations. Therefore I am changing my rating to reflect that, as my negative experience with one employee is not reflective of the company as a whole. For full transparency, modifying this review from negative to positive was NOT requested by Intact, nor was there any request to delete my negative review in return for solving my issues.

This year saw me have my first accident, the only positive in the entire experience was my dealings with the representatives of Intact Insurance. It made me laugh a little because they were just like the commercial, more concerned with how I was before they asked about the details of the accident. I was in a rental car within 4 hours of calling them to report the accident and every aspect of how the claim was handled was above expectations. This is a great company with considerate and compassionate employees. I would definitely suggest people consider this company for all their insurance needs.

i cannot believe the quality of service i received from intact. the were knowledgeable. they handled everything. i just to my car to where they suggested. i had a rental car waiting for me. tepairs were excellent and on time. very little effort on my part. 1 phone call to them. 1 phone call to make appointment with collision centre they recommended. i received 1 call when it was done. picked up my car and it was amazing. they even arranged for rental car to be picked up. they have a customer for life with me. I have family members that have already switched to them. truly awesome company..

I would give 0 if I could I’ve had insurance with them for 5 years and no claims. it’s been over 2 months my car was in an accident. When they picked up my vehicle it got parked at their auction facility for 10 days and my back bumper went missing, they won’t fix and want me to pay $1000 deductible for my vehicle which still won’t be drivable. The adjusters with this company mess up a lot and try to make it seem like it’s not their fault. Will be finding a new provider as soon as my policy is over. Pay extra with another company of u have to do not get insurance through them

Intact Insurance did a great job of making me feel at ease and making sure I had all the information I needed after being involved in a collision earlier this year. This was my first time dealing with this sort of situation, so I was completely unfamiliar with the process and wasn't sure what steps to take. The agent I worked with made sure I knew what was going on every step of the way and took great strides to ensure I was set up with the resources I needed. I'm very pleased with the service I received from Intact and felt like they were on my side the entire time.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. If there wad a negative star I would be given tons of them. I had an accident on November and now in February they finally decided to repair the car. The car's air bag is out and it is supposed to be totaled but they decided to repair it and my car rental is out. They are trying to squeeze me out and now I don't have a car. The customer service telephone is very hard to reach it takes 3 hours and I believe it is by design so that to discarage the customer. What is insurance if you can't get it when you need it.

Horrible experience dealing with Intact Auto Insurance! If I could give 0 stars I would. It’s been over 1 month of me not having my vehicle and Intact is now giving me the run around. I was told someone will call me back but no one ever did. I am now trying to call all these contacts at Intact and they are literally not picking up my phone calls! I’m leaving voice mails and sending emails and no one cares to call me back! Seems like intact doesn’t want to pay me money. Save yourself a huge headache and go with another insurance company!

Wish I could rate this insurance company 0 stars. What a joke. Cancelled with this company over 3 months ago (Fee: $17.00) I understand there’s a cancellation fee, but also deducting a whole month of insurance when there’s no coverage for the time being as a “penalty.” Was that not enough? Save the headache. I was with this company for about a year and half and they constantly changed my monthly payment out of nowhere. Poor rates, poor service, all around disappointing experience. Wouldn’t recommend this insurance to anyone.

Thanks Intact insurance from freeing me from your corporation. After more than two decades of claims free auto insurance, you decide to dump me as a client because I have 4 traffic violations in the past three years. That comes from driving in the Toronto region, do you really think people living in small rural towns ever get tickets? All of the tickets were 1 demerit or less meaning 10 km over the post speed limit. But I thank you for your lack of customer loyalty because now I can explore better options. Dr Jim Chung

Recently took my vehicle in the Fordhouse Blvd location after an accident. Amanda, Chris and Tim attended to my husband and I. They were prompt and very professional in assessing the damage and attending to us. Explanation was clear and concise. Everything was done so quickly and easily with a friendly smile and great attitude. They had a rental ready for us too. The repair was done in a few days and we got back my vehicle in great condition. We have never had this excellent service before. Thank you Intact!

I got into a car accident on July 3rd, 2023. It’s been almost 5 weeks and I’ve heard nothing from the insurance adjuster, Allie, of what’s happening with my car and wasn’t even asked if I needed a rental vehicle until 2 weeks after my accident. My vehicle was also in the tow truck lot until just a few days ago. I’ve tried calling and emailing her time and time again but no response. This is completely unprofessional. I understand being busy but I feel out of the loop of what’s happening with MY vehicle.

Awful, awful company... out for money and nothing else. I've been a loyal customer for 6 years now and while i do have a couple small tickets one ticket is 3 years old and the other is 5+ years old and both are TEN KPH over, not that big.. well suddenly these old tickets are getting me cut off this renewal? disgusting buisness practice... Update : found out they frauded me by bumping up an old ticket from 5 years ago to 2021. Considering taking legal action... DO NOT GO WITH INTACT, FRAUDULENT company

Today I needed to update my car insurance, firstly I had to wait for more than one hour "on hold" I remember joining the company 11-12 years ago for their award winning customer service, but now it seems to have deteriorated, and its time for me to move on. My experiences: Long call wait time (30 minutes plus), and once I connect they can not find my policy on their system, it usually takes another 15-20 minutes for them to find me, it seems that employees do not have proper training and knowledge.

Truly regret getting intact auto insurance. My car was hit by a snow plow while parked in the evening. This happened on January 19th, I filed a claim soon after and there has been no response. The claim agent has been rude and dismissive since the first day my husband called. Some of the other agents have been nice to talk to but nothing is happening. We have to pay for rental and use the TTC while our damaged car is just parked. I really wish the agent had more empathy and was more responsive.

Intact has had my automobile claim for 50 days and nothing has happened. I have to reach out to them constantly and have had only one instance where they were the first to reach out: to ask me to send the docs I had sent on day one. Oddly, I've had good experiences with insurance in the past (Traveller's for example) so I assumed this would be relatively simple. I am strongly considering switching my home and auto insurance provider next year when this current policy comes due for renewal.

I only rated it as a one star because there is nothing lower. My assigned adjuster has never called me even after 70 voice mails. Not sure if she exists. The people I do get a hold of try to contact her and don’t get through either. I get told my claim has been escalated and someone will call within 24-48 hrs. My claim is now 70 days old and got told the same thing today. I won’t be connected to a manager or told how to launch a complaint. This company is a joke. Thanks Emma

About two months ago my vehicle was rear ended by another car and I submitted the claim online and the same day I got a call from Intact insurance and I explained what happened. I submitted the photos of the vehicle and the damaged area. After that they provided the estimate for the repair. I took a vehicle to a body shop and I was provided a rental car. It took about four weeks to fix the rear bumper because the parts order was delayed, but the claim process was smooth.

By far the Worst insurance company I have ever had. My wife was involved in an accident and was not at fault and had to suffer for 3 months and the vehicle was not repaired our adjuster Caswell Bennett kept giving us the run around was very rude and never answered the phone or emails he held our vehicle as ransom until our rental limit was over. We had no choice but to pick up our vehicle and get it repaired on our own and cancel the insurance.

I’ve asked to speak to a manager multiple times within 2 months and the policy for the rentals with this company is so wack and unheard of. If you can avoid this company please do!!! You’ll be waiting months for your claim. They don’t even deserve 1 star

We have had two unfortunate water damage problems within a year and a half. Intact was prompt, informative and cooperative both times. They were extremely fair in all the decisions they made on our behalf. We had one bad experience with an adjuster, but they responded to my complaint immediately, without questioning it, and made things right very quickly. Intact gives insurance a good reputation. Recommend them very strongly

I have been dealing in intact since the summer after my car got damaged on Turo. It has been an absolute nightmare dealing with them. I was getting bounced around from person to person. No one knows what is going on or what to tell me, they are refusing to pay for my windshield which does not make any sense AND they still owe me for my one of the invoices I took care of my own with my car dealership. The lady I dealt with, Shayla was great, nothing against her, and she couldn't have been more helpful. It was the fact that my Porsche took over 2 months to fix and Intact only covered 2 weeks of my car rental even though I'd been paying into this insurance without a claim for over 15 years. Recently switched from Belair who I was with for over 10 years and I am very pleased after going through my first claim with intact. Everything was so easy I could not believe. When I called the 1800 number they knew my claim number and transfer me automatically to my adjuster. Car rental reservation was ready for me and the adjuster was friendly and helpful. Great service. We had a 3 floor flood 3 hours before leaving to the airport for our cruise. I called Intact and someone was here in 20 minutes. Travis and Jessica were amazing and supportive. They took care of things while we were away. The company was very accommodating with timeliness and never made us feel we were asking too much. Run far and run fast. I've been four months without a car and Intact always has someone else to blame, some mysterious process that they follow. They have dragged their feet every step of the way and could not have made the process slower if they tried. Years of claims free driving, always paying on time gets you nothing. Even though my claim was not a major one the intact reps from the first phone call were friendly and understanding. They got the ball rolling right away. Poor customer service. Takes forever to speak to anyone when you call . On one occasion, I was on hold for a total of 6 hours before I finally got through to someone. Even when you do speak with someone, they relay your information incorrectly to the car rental company and repair shop creating all kinds of confusion and conflict.
