The name truly says it all. Duke and his team are thoughtful and thorough and their services are very reasonably priced. On the strength of their Yelp reviews, I brought in my MR2 Turbo project car which had significant issues requiring a lot of trust. At another shop, this would have been an unmitigated disaster. An odd model of vehicle to begin with, custom racing parts and obsolescent air conditioning components, parts that aren't made anymore, rust, an engine removal, so many variables it was just begging for an unsavory result. It wasn't an easy project, requiring coordination with two other shops and several parts suppliers over the holidays. True to the Kipling poem on his wall Duke and his team handled it all with aplomb, keeping me updated throughout and having a real conversation--something I've never experienced with doctors or auto mechanics before. My faith was amply rewarded. My vehicle was at least twice as strong a performer after Integrity completed their work and the smile has not left my face since. When somebody later hit my car and that smile drooped, Integrity gave me a lead on a little-known automotive artist--a body shop that restored the damage better and for far less than another business would have. I've subsequently also brought my older Camry in for regular service. It took a few visits to track down that I needed a new fuel filler cap because the old spring had gone bad and it was causing intermittent Check Engine lights due to the loss of pressure. It's running strong now! After getting the run-around (free looking-over during a tire install) at another shop (Point S) that wanted to do thousands of dollars in unnecessary repairs, I brought the shakedown list in to Bob at Integrity and got away with less than $100 in fixes after they checked the car thoroughly. On another occasion, Bob installed a new air conditioning compressor on my GT car which was reasonably priced and has saved my life in the hot summer and kept my windows defogged in the winter. On another, all of the rubber suspension parts were replaced (all the ones that were available) which really made the vehicle handle far better than before. On yet another occasion he added some speed flaps (in front of the front wheels) to keep air out of my wheel wells and enabled the vehicle to stay planted at speed. The dream just keeps getting better! On one of my visits, Bob went out to look at an old Toyota from the mid-Eighties for a customer. This vehicle obviously had over 300,000 miles (as usually only Toyotas or Hondas can) on it, but it was still the owner's baby and Bob was confident that they could help him and do it quickly. It is this honesty, professionalism and can-do attitude that I have seen over and over and over again at Integrity. If you're looking for a professional relationship--for someone who will take care of you and has a genuine concern for your complete satisfaction--this is definitely the place. I will most certainly be back.

Integrity Auto saved me over $2,100. I have been taking my Toyota Matrix to Integrity for approximately 12 yrs. I have always been pleased with its service and prices. Here are the facts of how they save me $2,100. I received 3 recalls from Toyota Corporate on my passenger airbag & ”had” to take my Toyota Matrix each time to an authorized Toyota dealership—I couldn’t use Integrity Auto. The last time I took it into its dealership was approximately a year ago (Jan 2022). In addition to airbag, I also had dealership change the oil since it had been nearly a year since Integrity had changed oil and it would save me time to take into Integrity for another service. Now, nearly a year later I received urgent appearing emails from Toyota indicating that there were immediate maintenance actions that needed to be done on my car in addition to oil change. So, I took it in for another oil change with some discounts they had sent and free inspections, tire rotation, etc. I ended up waiting over 3 hrs before the clerk brought out the inspection report, which was 11 pages long, had a total sum of $2,215.79. First thought, OMG “ouch”, but I have to have this done! I was expecting $69 at the most. Then as I sat there and looked at the page while the clerk waited for me to say “Yes, go ahead” I told her I was going to call and check with Integrity as they did the regular maintenance on my car for years and may have done some or all of these things. She wasn’t pleased but said to come back to the station where she worked and let her know. I called Integrity and told them what was up. I read each of the items off the list to Integrity, to which the reply was: “no you don’t need that Jan”, or “that was already done”, or “nope, your brakes are fine.” Long story short, I told the clerk, who replied that these were the things found and it was necessary. I paid for the oil service, which was $86.26 and left. I am still receiving numerous emails along with the inspection report from the Dealership. I am so grateful for the truly honest work and maintenance of Integrity Auto and will continue to take my auto there. I may have another airbag recall, (who knows), but I will not have Toyota Dealerships do any maintenance again if that scenario appears. Thank you Integrity Auto for saving me over $2,100 on maintenance items that were unnecessary! You are the best!

Dear Duke, I am writing this letter to pay a very long over due compliment to you and your staff at Integrity Auto. You may not remember, but I became a loyal customer of yours when I had my 1988 Toyota Camry towed into your shop after it broke down from a faulty timing belt installation at my former Toyota dealership. During that first visit to your Toyota Specialists shop, I was very impressed with not only the work performed on my car, but I think what impressed me most was the caring, honesty and integrity in handling me as your customer. Since that first visit in 2000, I have added another 281,000 miles to my car and used your shop exclusively. I would like to point out that I live in Washington and drive 70 miles round trip to have my car serviced by you and your highly trained staff of mechanics. I don't mind the drive and passing a few shops I had used previously because I know my car will be serviced correctly, the first time, and at a reasonable price. The work completed last week was typical when you diagnosed an electrical problem, replaced worn seals that leaked oil (still the original engine and transmission) and replaced the brake pads. My Camry currently has over 408,000 miles registered on the odometer; about three times the mileage and use over any other automobile I've owned. I try and drive the "Old girl" with the age and respect she deserves, but I know it really comes down to the years of excellent service she's received at Integrity Auto that keeps her on the road. I bought a 1988 Toyota Camry LE in May 1997 for $6,100. It had been "totaled" in an accident and thus had a "Reconstructed Title"; the car had 25,315 miles on it when we purchased it. I had heard that the 1988 was one of the better Toyota models, so I was hoping for many years of satisfied driving at a pretty reasonable cost. Thanks to Integrity Auto and their fine service over many years, I was able to put over 200,000 more miles on the car before I just recently retired it. I've always maintained pretty detailed service records on cars that I own. Looking back on all the work that Duke and his staff at Integrity did on the car during the 18+ years I owned it, I realize how good a job they did in keeping the car running safe and sound. I always knew that Duke's advice was in my own best interest as he was careful to explain everything that he recommended, as well as the cost, which was always very reasonable. When I finally had to retire the car, I felt I had lost a good friend (Duke) in a business (auto repair) that doesn't always have the best reputation for honesty or integrity. (I know that this is often due to the complexities of modern automobiles that can be difficult for many - especially me - to fully understand). I couldn't recommend anyone or any auto repair shop any higher than Duke Bishop and Integrity Auto. They more than met my expectations over the years in every respect. They are real gems in Portland's auto maintenance and repair business and I wish them the very best !!

Today was my 2nd time at Integrity Auto. I can not express by words how wonderful the staff is and how knowledgeable they are. I feel like I have been wasting my hard earned money at other places. Ever since I came to this place I am NEVER going to go any other place again. I feel Integrity Auto staff here at SE 122nd are the best. they get to the point and nail the problem. My car (2006 Scion XB) was making some odd noise I took it to my mechanic anf they kept it for whole week and returned to me by stating that they have not found anything wrong. One day my wife and I were driving by the Integrity Auto and I decided to stop there and see if they can help. Boy that was my Luckiest day. Gentle man named Bob looked at my car and asked my start the Engine and he knew excetly what the issue was he grabed a wrench and a screwdriver and tighten my engine belt the annoying problem was solved in few seconds. I thank you very much Bob. I then made an appointment for an oil change and got it done in about 30 minutes. and my car is running excellent and today was my second time at Integrity Auto had my synthetic oil changed and car is performing like a brand new. Once again Thank you very much Bob and Duke. you guys rock and I am so glad I found you. god bless you.

Here's how Integrity Auto saved me $1000. I've owned a 2003 Tacoma for 14 years, and visited a variety of shops. Most recently, during a routine checkup on a oil change deal, a dealer's mechanic said my power steering system was leaking badly and needed to be replaced, cost estimate $1000. I was shocked, and declined. Instead I checked fluid levels for six months- - no change. The dealer's warning still nagged me, so I finally went for a 2nd opinion from Integrity, as part of their complimentary inspection. I'd had routine maintenance done there, and I trust them. Duke had the truck on the rack when he showed me the reason the fluid level had not changed. He said there was minor seepage. He pointed out the oil filter directly above the "leaking" steering part. This is oil, he said, "It looks like someone dripped oil on the steering rack during a filter change." I thanked him for saving me $1000 for unnecessary repair, and for giving me piece of mind. Last week I sold my truck, so I'm no longer a customer. But this story still makes me feel good, so I heartily endorse Integrity Auto to all you Toyota owners.

I have been taking my 2008 4Runner to Integrity for over five years now and will not go anywhere else. When I first moved to Portland I took my truck to the local Toyota dealer for an oil change and general "check up". They came back and told me I needed a new radiator as it was leaking after a pressure test and would cost me close to $1000 to replace. I had never seen a drop of coolant under my truck, so I thanked them and went on my way. A friend told me about Integrity so I had them check it out. They told me my radiator was fine and five years later I have not had a single problem with my cooling system. They are professional, honest, friendly, funny, and never try and sell you more than what you need. They know Toyotas. I am always amazed at the depth of knowledge they have about the details of my truck. They have loaner vehicles, are timely in doing the work and their prices are reasonable. The shop is clean and they have a comfy waiting area with great reading material. Highly recommend! My 4Runner just rolled over 150000 miles and Integrity keeps her running like a new vehicle!

I have taken our two Toyotas here three or four times since my wife and I moved to PDX. I can only say I was lucky as all getup to find these dudes because they have been incredibly honest to me each time. Each time I took my car in there were a number of ways they could have swindled me or tried to sell me on a service not needed, but instead they always quote me the different options and are straight with me about what needs to be done for safety and what can wait until later, should I choose to make a more $$ repair on a car that may not be worth the $$ due to high mileage, etc. Today, when I was in, they even offered to let me borrow a car to get coffee. Nice waiting room, clean atmosphere, greeted with a GENUINE smile each time I've been in, and kind on the phone. Even helped me get a tow truck a year or so ago. Seriously, these people are honest, kind, and precise, and each time I've left feeling a bit better knowing that there are still really honest people out there that aren't that hard to find. Honestly, cheers ya'll!

I've been bringing my seeming fleet of Toyotas--three--to Duke for years. I've enjoyed getting to know him, and now Bob as well. Duke tells me exactly what's going on without getting overly technical and thus making my eyes glaze. Problems are accurately diagnosed, communication is clear, situation is fixed quickly and price is fair. And I also get a great conversation out of the deal. Almost makes me want to hobble my own car just so I can go chat with Duke and Bob. Hasn't come to that, yet. Favorite Duke story--I was driving alone across the country a few years ago and ran into difficulties at Mile Nowhere on Hwy 90 in South Dakota (no offense, South Dakotans!). I pulled over and mused on my options, which were few to none. Then--bing! Duke, of course. I called up him and he talked me through the solution, which it turned out was something I could actually do. I felt like an astronaut with Houston talking me through a deep space repair. Once again, Duke to the rescue. In short, I recommend this guy. No question.

This review, has more to do with Bob @ Integrity Auto than the store it's self as I have not had the pleasure of doing business in there store, I had ran over an 5/16" I-Bolt, Yeah weird thing to run over and get a flat RIGHT! anyway I jacked up the Toyota T-100 truck and it started to roll backwards as I on a slight decline of the driveway of Integrity and now the Jack is tilted and in danger of letting my truck fall on its aluminum wheel, Bob showed up right then and offered to bring out his Professional Jack (TY Bob) and gave me a hand, then filled the tire with air while he pointed to the wash bin saying go ahead and clean up, (sweat dripping) Oh and looks like you could use some water go into the office and get some water, wow nice guy and mind you I think he was trying to close the store when I got there. and now I see indeed the store closes @ 5PM and it was 5:30 before I left. WOW -Yes above and Beyond.....Thanks Again Bob I can see why you have so many 5 star reviews..... Jack

Duke and all his staff always do a really great job! We've been driving from St. John's to his shop since 2004 when we got our first Toyota, and we won't take it anywhere else as long as he's in business. He was recommended by two separate friends, and we've recommended him to many more. We have always been treated with kindness, respect, and the utmost honesty. Can't count the occasions when he has let us know about issues that would be coming up on our cars so that we can budget ahead, and other times he has let us know when we can skip taking care of things...that and the fact that our cars are in great condition are signs of a good mechanic in my book. Even my kiddos love going out to see Duke! He kindly asks them about what they're up to in school and gently jokes around with them. I've seen never seen him flustered or upset, and seems to treat his employees with respect too. I can't recommend Integrity Toyota enough!

I can't thank Duke and Integrity Auto enough for helping me out in a difficult situation. My son was using our 3rd vehicle while attending U. of Portland. My wife and I live in Puyallup, Washington. The transmission on our vehicle failed and so I looked up repair facilities on Angie's List to try and find a reputable shop to take the vehicle. Integrity's reviews were excellent and so I called Duke and asked to have the vehicle towed there. They only charged me about $70 to evaluate the condition of the transmission which I thought was very reasonable. Sure enough the tranny was toast. Long story short I ended up selling the vehicle as salvage. However throughout this entire process which took more than a week Duke let me keep the vehicle at his shop for no charge. Even though Integrity did no actual repairs on my vehicle I would highly recommend them for their outstanding customer service and helping out someone in need.

My wife and I had some bulbs replaced on our Toyota Corolla 2010, and RAV 4 2014. The Corolla came to $54 parts and labor (Halogen capsule 12 - $18, $36 for labor) The RAV 4 was $85 parts and labor (Halogen capsule 12 - $10, left inner taillight bulb $3, $72 for labor ($36 for front and $36 for back lights) The total time it took for both vehicles was just under 30 minutes. We were not asked if we wanted the additional work done (the left inner tail light which cost an extra $39.00 - it was just assumed. The RAV 4 had another headlight replaced previously in August at the Toyota dealership for $38.00 parts and labor, quite the difference. It helps to get more than one quote before any type of work done on your vehicle...because the job seemed so straight forward we didn't do this, and it cost us. Update: I spoke with Jake and he refunded us the $39. He was gracious about it.

For some reasons these guys may be great. I had my 1998 Toyota Land Cruiser taken to them when I first bought it so I could learn about any of the problems it may have. Very helpful and knowledgeable people. Recently my starter began to go bad so I figured i would take it to them considering they are Toyota experts. They told me it would cost $1200 to replace the starter because of the lengthy process. I went to 2 more reputable mechanics that work on Toyota engines and got a quote for $550 using the same Denso OEM part. They got the job done and my car starts like a champ! I find it kind of ridiculous that I could get the same quality of work done 2 miles away for less than half the price but I suppose that’s how the world works sometimes!

I can't really speak highly enough of Integrity Auto. They are super friendly, transparent in their evaluations, and honest about what services are and are not needed. Neither my wife nor I are 'car people,' but the folks here have never once spoken down to us, or hurried us through the process - they answer all of our questions completely, and provide as much information to us as they can. I've never felt like I was being up-sold, or like I was 'just another customer' as I have at previous dealership service centers. I never thought it was possible to find technicians that are completely trustworthy, but we have, and it's absolutely worth the drive down from Washougal. I feel safe and assured every time I leave their shop.

Needed to replace the interior door handles on my Corolla and have a general checkup done, but was concerned about cost. Integrity Auto not only installed procured the parts for me more quickly than the actual Toyota dealership I used to go to, but it cost only a third as much to install as the dealership estimate I had been given previously. I also received the sort of personalized customer attention that has become so rare in dealerships today. Plus, the nicely furnished the waiting room has some of the best reading material I've ever seen, including The Far Side. If you need to have your Toyota serviced for most anything (they do do only Toyotas, it should be noted), then this is definitely a great place to do so.

After having Broadway Toyota dealership service spend a week on troubleshooting an electrical problem without a diagnosis (and quoting a "worse case scenario" of $5000!), I brought my vehicle into Integrity Auto for a second opinion. Less than 24 hours later, Duke called and said they diagnosed the problem, with a total cost of $138! I immediately became a customer for life. In addition, every time I call Integrity Auto, Duke picks up the phone personally. He is kind, straight forward, and supportive. His business depends and thrives on personal referrals, giving him every incentive to provide excellent customer service...and he does. This is the real deal, the name Integrity Auto actually says it all!

After getting several price quotes, I decided to go with Integrity Auto. They are a Toyota specialist and offer a 3 yr/36000 mile warranty. I had some better price quotes but the fact that they use genuine Toyota parts and offer a great warranty, it made it an easier choice for me. Duke was very cordial and easy to work with. They also do a free complimentary inspection of the mechanical condition of your vehicle and make recommendations. No pushy sales pitches. One other big plus for me was, they offer free loaner cars. Would highly recommend Integrity Auto and would use them again in a flash.

When I took my Toyota 4Runner into Integrity Auto, I was in need of immediate service. I was playing the risk due to a desperate position that my vehicle would give out any minute. I came in with skepticism and uncertainty. I brought my new-to-me Lexus in for an oil change & checkup. (I didn't buy it from the local dealer, and I thought an independent shop would be more likely to give me a reliable opinion.) Duke & the tech spent a lot of time going over things with me, and a few other customers who came in while I was there seemed to get solid advice on what they needed, what they could think about and maybe do later, and what things were just fluff or scaremongering suggestions they'd received from other mechanics. I'll be bringing both my cars here, even though it's a bit out of the way for me.

These guys are great! I bought an old Toyota pickup a few months ago that had the catalytic converter removed and wasn't passing DEQ. Another shop sold me a cheap cat and welded it on but still no luck. These guys not only got the truck to pass DEQ with flying colors but were able to give me a good assessment of the truck and what I can do to keep it running well. All at a fair price! (I didn't even need to buy a new cat) I will definitely be going back for future upgrades/repairs. I appreciate the professional and honest work! Thanks guys!

Awhile back, I noticed that the temp gauge on my Lexus was high. Slightly panicking, I Googled "Lexus service east Portland OR" and found Integrity Auto. Short story, it was the motor pump. Duke and his team are indeed all about honesty. They told me I was close to the cusp of my warranty. I was given the ok to drive cautiously to the dealership. The service at Integrity Auto: $0, and because my car was still within warranty, $0 at the dealership as well. With their trustworthiness, they're now my go-to mechanic and they do a good job.

I took my car there last week. My car was shaking and making a lot of noise. I thought it was the transmission. They checked it out and it was just a rock lodged between the the transmission mount and the frame. Many shops would have charged an enormous amount siting the transmission. They let me know ahead what the range of cost should be and called re: the issue before doing any further work. I can count on them to be great mechanics and most of all, they are honest! Integrity is vary appropriately named. I give them 10 stars.

Once again Integrity Auto showed their true colors. I had my oil changed by the dealership and they said my brakes were shot and needed to be changed. I took the truck into Integrity and low and behold I am at 40 percent on my front brakes and 80 percent on the rear. I had also told Duke that I thought my battery or alternator might be going bad since my lights were dim at start up. He determined that it was actually just worn belts. The belts were replaced and everything is now great. Thanks again for holding true to your name.

Go here if you appreciate honesty, professionalism and a love for Japanese vehicles. I’ve been here several times for work and the crew here will do what is needed, and have an honest discussion about your vehicles options. They’ve even given me advice when I was stranded in the Dalles and a dealer tried to charge me $900 for a ignition switch overhaul. They said I should request the original key code and talk to a locksmith. Cost me $25 and worked like a charm! You guys rock, thank you for your continued service.

We received amazing service from Integrity auto. Our Toyota Sienna suddenly lost all it's oil from a hose that burst while on a road trip. We we're stranded and far away from home. We called integrity auto and they gave us a great recommendation for a tow truck to get our van to the shop. Honestly we would have paid anything to get our van back on the road but the cost for the repairs were very reasonable and we we're back on the road a few hours later. Thanks to Bob and Duke at Integrity auto for saving the day!

I had issues getting through deq i took my car to these guys and they charged me $173 to tell me they wanted $4800 more dollars. Tried telling me my car needed this and that...long story short i replaced an o2 sensor solenoid and clip and wire to the solenoid for approximately $90 and passed deq with flying colors I am not impressed with this establishment especially calling themselves ( integrity auto ) I would not recommend this place whatsoever. So much for doing the right thing even when no ones around huh.

I had my car towed to integrity from another repair service in the evening. Before closing they knew what the problem was and ordered out the parts and gave me an excellent price for the parts and labor. By mid-morning they were done, I picked up the car and it ran perfect. I live out of state in Washington but from now on I will drive across the river to use Integrity for all my future Automotive repairs. They provide excellent customer service, repair, and pricing. I have been going to Integrity Auto since I first moved to Oregon 15 years ago. First with my much used and abused Camry, and now with my new Prius, I am always happy with the service provided by Duke and all the mechanics. They are Toyota specialists and have a a depth of knowledge about the vehicles that other shops cannot match. They have always done excellent work on my cars, and are always very forthcoming and honest in their dealings with me. "Integrity" is what you get at Integrity Auto.

Integrity Auto was a fantastic shop to get work done at. We brought the car in for brake work and an oil change but they took the time to go over everything and informed us we were also only 1k miles short of needing our timing belt replaced. I appreciate not having to schedule another appointment later when I realized I was due for more maintenance. They provided a free loaner car and still had the car done by the end of the next day even with the extra work.

It was a plesure doing business with Integrity Auto. Bob and his crew are informative, patient and work fast! After receiving a complimentary inspection a few weeks back, I called today to check the schedule and to my surprise they were able to get me right in! They even provided a rental and had my Tundie back to me before the end of the day! Finding a new mechanic is a daunting task, but luckily I can check that off my list. I'll be back! This is my go to shop for my Toyotas. We just used them for 120k maintenance for our 2009Highlander ($600). We had other issues that we needed fixed and they were able to promptly identify the issues. Smell of burning oil due to leaking front differential and shaking due to worn out rotars. In all about $1800 in work. I trust them to do the work that is necessary without upselling me on items that are not needed at a fraction of the cost of the dealer.

They had the vehicle for probably 2 hours and they did a very in depth assessment of the car. I was emailed the inspection checklist and notes and he answered any additional questions I had. I was very pleased with how professional and understanding they were.

We have taken our Toyotas to Integrity Auto for over 15 years. I have a 1997 Camry that is still running well thanks to their excellent care. We started taking our cars to Integrity when the dealer quoted us $1800 to repair an overheating car and we knew we couldn't afford that price. Integrity diagnosed the problem as something much simpler to fix and we paid less than $400. We have taken our cars to Integrity Auto ever since.

First time and it was a easy and pleasant experience I should've came a long time ago! I scheduled a brake replacement on my Lexus IS F but told me that it still has alot of life left. They even managed to do a free vehicle inspection to tell me how healthy my car is. Love how honest they are and just recommend me to come back in a few thousand miles to flush my vital fluids. I have a 95 camry and not a ton of money to spend on it. Integrity is supportive, understanding, and patient as I often ask for them to make repairs in stages so I can afford their fees. They have a kind and friendly staff. Only thing I'd wish for is some weekend or evening hours since it's difficult for me to bring in my car since I work 9-5 as well. I often recommend them to friends who also have Toyotas!

Lexus told me I needed $3,500 in repairs. Integrity, true to their name, told me my car had no damage. Integrity fixed my alignment for $150 and sent me on my way. I even returned to the dealer so they could "show me" the damage, they put my car up and I could see almost nothing (a tiny bit of chipped metal). Will never return to the dealer, these are my guys from now on.

Honest repairs at an honest price. Excellent staff. Brought my '06 Tacoma in for a timing cover leak (a somewhat common problem on this series of Tacoma). The dealer wanted much more to fix it and only a year warranty on the work. I'm glad my truck is so reliable, but I'm also glad to have a place like Integrity when things do need to be fixed.
