I had the opportunity to study 6 months in September 2019. The receptionists and the staff in general were friendly. I started in pre intermediate, and I ’d had three teachers , but the only one was a good teacher. However, I feel they lack a better structure for Gerenal English courses. When someone arrived new to the class, nobody explained the course structure, assignments, assessments or exams nor what it was the difference between general English and Cambridge. Some students asked me about the structure of the school or levels. When somebody new arrived to class any and disturbed the rhythm of the course. You pay 200 AUS for photocopies because the books are not given to you. If you missed a week, you don't know what was the topic last week because you don't have a book guide. They say that the books are online but the intermediate level is not.

IH is a super good school to learn more and improve your english skills. I had so much fun with their excellent teachers during class (especially with Devin xD) while preparing for the CAE exam. I will never forget some of those moments!! But IH Melbourne is so much more than that: They welcome every student in a lovely way and help them with everything, whether it is finding a job, any difficulties in their new life or their mental health. For me personally, Effie was the biggest help for me, when I had to face several problems, after I moved to Melbourne and I wouldn’t have made it out without her. In general, every teacher and the student service is super helpful and friendly, so you always feel comfortable and safe in the school. I would definitely recommend going to IH since it was over all a wonderful experience I’ll never forget!

Since day one, the school treat me with an outstanding way Not only the staff but also teacher are extremely friendly and cozy. Teachers create an outstanding relationship with you, they helped me with non related class issues which is something that I do appreciate and is not commonly seen with other teachers. In terms of learning, all of them assisted me to boost my confidence and expand my knowledge. If I have to choose a word to describe the school I would say SUPPORTIVE. Even after finishing my course they were helping me by showing me different ways to continue in the country and how progress with my education.

I really don't recommend this school, I have problems for the cancellation of my course due to change of city, I know that I signed the offer letter where it says that I have to take 6 months of my course (I haven't started any of them yet), But that course is the last one, it doesn't even make sense. They didn't even care that I passed a letter from a psychologist saying that I have had problems with stress, anxiety and depression as a result of this, they don't think about the student, bad

My mother got cancer and I had to go back to my country. We had paid for a 3-month course of $3,000 and I only used 2 weeks because I had to go back suddenly and they didn't give me any money back. in addition to the international house melbourne organization which is disastrous, they are thieves. There are much better English schools, I do not recommend international house at all. I already had to delete a comment once exposing how badly they do their job and how little humanity they have.

I was in international house just for 6 week. I have a working holiday visa and i just wanted to improve my english at the begining of my trip. IH is a good opportunity to have a social life, and learning english at the same time. The teachers are serious and funny at the same time and ready to help you for everything. Also, everyone listen to your desire. By exemple you can easily ask if you want to change your timetable or if you have any problem.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to my school for providing an excellent IELTS course. After just three months of dedicated study, I was able to achieve my desired score. The teachers and my classmates were incredibly supportive and helpful throughout the journey. I really liked this school, I'm in the morning and I think the teachers really make an effort to help you learn. Like in every school, if you don't put in your effort, it will be more difficult to learn. The groups are not that big and the teachers do pay attention to you. Everyone on the International House team has been friendly. I would select this school again without hesitation.

I am a student from Turkey and I bought a language school for two semesters, I finished the first semester and changed my visa type, I informed them a month ago that I will not continue with the second semester, but they are not refunding me for the second semester and neither phone calls nor emails are answered. Future students should be very careful.

I graduated advanced diploma in business course few months ago and i would love to say that it was such a good learning experience at IHBC. All trainers are very supportive, especially head trainer in Melbourne campus. As I studied here for 3years since my first English course, i would say IHBC always working hard for the best outcome of students
