i think iona basically focus more on uniform and behaviour more than the education. Half the teachers cant even stop the class talking. Also being late to class will get u in trouble and the teachers dont even understand that 4 minutes to get to class is nearly impossible. You also get 2 30 minute lunches during the day which i think everybody can agree is a very short time when you have 5hr of class a day. theres also nothing to do at lunch times everythings so boring you cant go on your phone or even do anything fun.

I'm so disappointed in this school. My family's experience is well below the expectations of what was promised by this school. I seriously suggest you do your homework when considering which school you want to send your precious child. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere! Your child's mental health is worth much more! Happy to discuss so please reach out to me to hear my personal experience.

This school has the best facilities ever! Any other catholic boys school can't keep up with Iona. Probably the downsides is that the head of the school makes bad decisions sometimes and if your poor and only pay 300 dollars a week for your rent then i don't think you'll want to go here for the price. Better than Villa and every other school

This school was lacking good teachers until my fav Mr. Boyd came and had the best quote ever. "Be careful who you walk on, on the way up, because you might meet them on the way down." Truly inspirational words of wisdom. He has a big six-pack and would look at us funny whilst licking his lips.

When my favorite teacher, Mr Brian Townsend left the school. He broke my heart by not letting me shake his hand. I thought we had a connection... I really wanted to stroke his hair back and give him a big smooch on the cheek. Other than that, there are no hot teachers, 0/10.

Alright school. It has its ups and downs. I have been there since grade 5 and dropped out at the end of grade 10 becuase they decided drama and modern history were not good enough and they got rid of it. Good school but dont expect to get your electives in grade 11 and 12

My son loves this school and has thrived since enrolling. I love that every sport he would ever want to do is offered on campus and the train line makes the commute convenient. The downside is the size but I guess that’s the upside too. More things on offer for the boys.

When I went to school in the early 2000's this was known as the povo all boys school. It still seems to be the poor man's all boys school and it shows. Honestly save your money and go literally anywhere else. Your son/s will thank you for doing so.

The school cares more about us wearing headphones during school which helps us study, then bullying! I’ve got family members who went to school, left, joined another school and are more successful! The kids and teachers are to blame for this issue!

Never gone to this school, but the behaviour of Iona school boys on Cleveland line trains is disgusting. I even rung the school to get them to do something and it seems as though it hasn't made a difference.

Massive shout out for handing out helium balloons at the Wakerley Xmas Carols. I must of counted 40 of them in the space of 10min floating off towards Moreton Bay. Congrats on killing our ocean wildlife.

Good school, good experience. Learn what you are in the eyes of God! + i personally support the college production- lots of good people and good social experience to collaborate with the female sex.

  • Dorothy Taylor

Attended the senior production The Importance of Being Ernest. Excellent job to all the team. Catering, Hospitality, Production, Cast and Crew. Most enjoyable. I look forward to the next one.

This is a great school which shows the ideas of Jesus in a way that doesn't force kids to be a christian. Definitely recommend to other families looking for a private boys college.

  • John Mcandy

Great restaurant they served amazing shelf fish with a beautiful starter of chicken teriyaki rolls. would highly recommend to any food enthusiast in Brisbane. Keep up the work

Being an Iona Old boy I am bias. It is a great school and has grown and improved in so many ways. The opportunities the boys get to take advantage of are second to none.

  • Ted Britt

As an old boy, I may be a little biased, but Iona provided a great grounding! The school continues to grow and evolve for the better! The facilities are amazing!

  • Jenny Wilson

Highly recommend Iona College (all boys school). My son is enrolled there and he is thankful for all his great friends and there is no girl drama ever! <3
