Just went to the store to look around, as I always do I'm a Platinum Member I've spent over 3000dls in the past 6 months they were always helpful until now. I was trying to try on a hoodie and the "manager Amanda" said to just put it over the hoodie that I'm already wearing. Besides if you put it over another bulky hoodie you dont know how it will actually fit. Seriously who does that? I know its almost time to close (8:20pm) but there's no need to be rude. I asked her again i wanted to use the fitting room she points at where the fitting room is...I know where it is I've been here many many times. Then she mumbles something on the radio to the other "manager Felipe" not sure if those were they actual names but I could describe them pretty well. When I get to the fitting room the guy is standing outside and asks me to leave my other bags outside like if I'm going to try to steal merchandise. I just don't want to risk my bags been taken. Just spent over 400 dollars on two pairs of shoes and didn't feel comfortable leaving them outside. Like I said before I've been there so many times and I never had this issue before. They made me feel really uncomfortable. For sure I will be using other stores where they make me feel welcome. Definitely would be spending my money elsewhere

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a Finish Line. I usually go to the one at Rolling Oaks but we were at North Star this day and my brother told me they had one in Macys. I went in and was looking around to purchase a few shoes from there. I really wanted them so I waited for 15 min for a rep to show up. Nothing. I was not the only one waiting either. There were 4 other people that were there before me and said they have been waiting too. I take it upon my self to go to the back to look for somebody and what do I see. A guy sitting on his butt talking on the phone. I asked him if he worked here and he said somebody will be with me. I told him I had been waiting for awhile and there are 4 other people waiting too. His response to that was that if they were there for Macys or Finish Line. It is not my job to ask a customer at a store I don't work at if there are there for Macy or Finish Line. It probably would have been faster if I asked them what shoe size and shoe they want so somebody would actually be working there. I asked him again but still he told me go back out there and wait. Worst experience I have ever had. Never would I go back there again. Good luck keeping this location open any longer. Would have gave it a zero but not possible.

I HAD HORRIBLE SERVICE BY THE STORE MANAGER! I came to do a return on some nike sandals that fitted a bit too small. When i bought them they did not have a tag and it was the only size 8 left & then i took them home and put them on and i realized they did not fit right! I went back to the store to return them as soon as i could which was 2 days later and the manager did not accept the return because i "Wore them and they didn't have a tag" but they looked brand new they had no scuffs no dirt no nothing & i returned them with everything it came when i bought them which was a little hanger & in a finish line bag. It all made no sense to me because he said he could only do an exchange & that was him doing me a "favor" & guess what they didn't even had any bigger sizes for me to exchange with so he had to order the sandals online for me & that was a hassle already he could have just given me a return to make things easier... I guarantee they will just put put a tag on and put them back on a shelf & sell them because they were literally in new condition. Maybe i should have gone to a different store & gotten better service.

I am a Sneaker YouTuber and post honest reviews about sneaker shopping in and around San Antonio. This location has a lot of work to do in the areas of customer service. Entry engagement is key and saying "Hi" isn't enough. The experience starts with the first interaction and can end right there if your employees are developed properly, noticed I didn't say managed because leadership and management are two different skills. Customers are often left waiting for staff to return a shoe to them or even address them. The one thing that keeps people coming here is the "Additional 25%" sale and that isn't enough.

Store in North Star Mall customer service blows big time! I walked into the store (1102) 3 different times, NOONE greeted at all. An employee was standing right in front, passed right by him when I walked in, dude didn’t even look at me. I stopped to look at some Nikes which were right behind where he was standing at and still nothing. I didn’t even wanna buy these shoes there but no other store had them. Even the cashier was rude, put the receipt in the bag, no hey thank you, have a nice day. Never again, Place sux big time!

Beware of online ordering! If staff is too busy to process your online in store pickup, they won’t do it and sell your product to someone else and then cancel your order! This was done to me during tax free weekend and now I have to wait for my money to be back in my bank to get my sons school shoes. My son will have to start school with old shoes and I will have to wait to buy new ones and pay taxes on them! So called manager “Paul Lopez” very rude and unapologetic!! Horrible online shopping experience!!!!

I had a very negative experience at on 7/11/2023. I was asking the manager about shoes that were shown in stock at the store, however the manager was very short with me and stated the shoes I was seeking was not available in store but the customer service team from jd clarified it was in stock. I believe since these are sought after shoes, the manager is back dooring the pairs to resellers. I will be filing a BBB complaint against this company for shady business practices.

They got 10 people walking around working yet I had to grab the shoe I wanted and chase someone down! Waited 10 minutes then some else approached I told him what I was waiting on. Had to wait another 5 minutes! When my family and I were ready to pay they lost my damn shoes at the counter! Terrible! The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because they were the only ones that had the shoes I was looking for!

Supervisor, clearly saw the long line forming. Instead of taking on a customer in line, she gets a friend that just got off work to jump the line. Checked her out. And left the only one cashier with the long line and customers complaining. These kids are left to run franchises with no customer service abilities. Until businesses run out of customers. Horrible customer Service ! The lady at the register, was extremely rude. When I tried to return some shoes I bought online, she said It would make her job easier if I just exchanged them at another store. I'm sorry, but I don't care how much work it is that's your freaking job. Management should seriously look into the customer service their employees are providing.

We felt the customer service was really good while there during the spring break week. We stopped in to get some shoes for my kiddos and had a very pleasant experience. Sure they didn't have a couple shoes in the sizes we needed, but the employees worked hard to make sure we felt important in the store. I would certainly go back here to look for more shoes.

Walked in with my son today, Sunday, May 1, 2017. They said hi, but never asked if we needed help! They were not busy! Looked around a little bit, still nothing. Guess they get paid hourly. We were there to buy 3 pairs of shoes. Guess their company doesn't need the money and just wants to pay their employees to walk around and do nothing!

Management has no control over the people when line, they don’t understand the concept of first-come-first serve by giving away ticket to people that arrived after I did. Management “MUST” learn customer service because that Mexican short guy, supposedly called manager has to go back to school and learn manners.

I recently went and had an amazing experience. The sales associate Katy works there and made sure that I had help right away. She asked what size I needed and made sure that the shoes were both the right size. They do whatever they can to make sure you have a great experience.

Wish I could give ZERO. They screwed up and sent me home with a mismatched pair of shoes...then make me wait more than 30 minutes while they try to correct their mistake. This is why I lol when i hear people say we need to raise the minimum wage. EARN IT.

I went yesterday before work.. i was ready to drop some serious $$$ on 3 pair of shoes. I had the shoes in hand and none of the 4 employees on the floor came to ask if i needed any help. They looked at me like i didn't belong there.
