JSB has proven time and time again that they are the best solution for insurance needs. I have been able to easily and quickly add or remove a vehicle to my policy, rates so reasonable, my friends can't believe what I pay. They are polite and professional and still make you feel like you are family. No matter what scenario I present, they quickly verify their understanding and always find a way to make it happen. For example, I was purchasing a vehicle thru a broker, for various reasons, the broker could not deliver on time. He brought his personal vehicle to my home for my use until my car was ready. I was not comfortable using his brand new auto, he had barely owned it a day, and he showed me that his vehicle policy covered me driving. I still felt uncomfortable and so I called the geniuses at JSB and asked if I could purchase a temporary policy so I would have peace of mind. They had a product, reasonable pricing and the transaction was in place within a few hours of my initial call, including a proof of insurance card via e mail that I could keep on my phone. Another time, I had a severe unexpected illness and everything went on hold including payments. Within a couple hours of my return to the world, JSB had my insurance back in place. All this without extra added fees or or any demeaning comments about my ability to function as an adult. I have presented them with some challenges, including a member on the policy with quite a few speeding violations. They consistently provide me with excellent assistance and my rate was lower than what I had been paying despite the point. They are always going above and beyond without prompting. Robert, Henry, James, have been my main contacts and the integrity of the business comes through every time. I have had great service from the insurers they provide me with. A vehicle I owned was listed as a total and the company was so polite and gracious about making arrangements for my check to be delivered promptly, this was after they thouroughly explained all the options. If I have ever had an issue with anyone I am insured with, JSB is always there to intervene and become my advocate. I could go on for hours maybe days about these guys. Bottom line, I have had insurance for over 50 years, and some of the companies I have worked with have been adequate, and some way less than accommodating or even polite. However, the last 10 years that JSB has taken care of me, very time I feel like I am a personal friend or family member. I never thought I could be complimentary about insurance and coverage, but JSB has made it possible to enjoy dealing with insurance needs. Please, if you are looking for the most excellent customer service, products to meet your needs at the price you are wanting to pay, and unlimited support, CALL THESE GUYS. You will never regret it and your insurance needs will suddenly disappear as the fairy godmothers take care of all the details and treat you like royalty to boot. Listen, there may be worse insurance brokers and companies in the Los Angeles area, but there absolutely are better. Do yourself a favor any do more research, or go at it on your own. I had used JSB to find an auto insurance policy for my car last year, and they had appeared to be incredibly helpful and friendly. However, my experience since then had only been disappointment after disappointment. The insurance plan they sold me and put me in was a joke and beyond aggravating. After fighting with the insurance company JSB sold me just to start processing my claim, I tried to use JSB to contact the company to handle a claim that wasn't being honored. The claim wasn't being rejected, it just wasn't being honored, for a week. Despite the promises and claims that JSB was helping me out, I never heard back from them as to the help and assistance they claimed to have been providing. I was the one who finally got my claim pushed through. Then, after all the headache, I had begged and pleaded with JSB to find me a new company and policy so that in the event I ever had to call upon the contractual services agreed upon in the policy I purchased, I wouldn't have to be abused by the same company. I begged JSB to find me a new policy, and they again made claims and promises to do so. 3 months later, after having heard NOTHING back from JSB, nor receiving any new policy options, I spent 2 hours researching and signing up for a new plan with a new provider on my own. In a more recent development, I just received a Cancellation Bill from the insurance company JSB signed me up with. I had to contact JSB to have them send the cancellation letter, alerting the company that I would not be renewing my policy upon the expiration date of my policy. Guess what JSB neglected to tell me would ever happen with the policies that they sell: You get a $100 cancellation bill. The nickel and diming, and deceitful behavior just never ends with these guys. JSB appears to have your interest and your well being at heart. JSB pretend like they're going to help you. In reality, once they've received their commissions and fees from you, you don't matter at all to them. To add insult to injury: as opposed to helping me and looking to help, JSB had my previous yelp review removed, claiming that my review was not about them, but rather about someone else. JSB cares more about what people may say about them, then actually helping their own customers. So my official review and opinion: be very wary if using JSB. They may be able to set you up with a policy that sounds great for your bank account, but you're in for a world of trouble and headache should you actually need to use that insurance, or contact this brokerage for anything there-after.

In the past several months I've been dealing with 3 different agents. The first was very polite and courteous and did what he had to do but when I needed him when I was dealing with the DMV he was nowhere to be found. While I was trying to contact him I dealt with my 2nd agent, she pick up the ball and took care of my needs. Fast forward 6 months. My policy was going to expire in about a month and an agent named Ceaser Garcia introduced himself and let me know if I had any questions regarding continuing my policy. I blew him off and I'll worry about that when the time comes... well the time came and all of a sudden my policy expired that day which was a Saturday. I called and emailed but got no reply till Monday morning. I get a call Monday and Cesar tells me, "next time use my personal cell number. I would have taken care of you on Saturday". ( Who does that!? On a Saturday! On his day off?) He enrolled me once again and sends me my ID cards. Tuesday I go to the DMV and they inform me that I need an additional document. I call Ceaser's cell, he picks up immediately and I explain to him what I need and within moments it's in my email! To wrap things up, that was outstanding customer service and I wish I had employees like him so I could take off work knowing my business won't be burnt to the ground. Thank you Cesar for everything you did!

We have been clients of James (JSB) since he started years ago. I worked with his sister and he use to be a great advocate and insurance provider with competitive rates. This company is way too big, rude agents with terrible customer service. Not what we want at all. In the last few years, we have asked for a review of our car policy and the cost of insurance and we were alway told, “these are the best rates and with new laws you can’t get the kind of coverage you have with a new policy.” Blah blah blah. We were paying over 555.00 a month for liability for 3 cars, granted my son is a new driver, but high. I looked into it myself and found that I can get a policy with full coverage on one vehicle, and liability on the other two for 300.00 a month with the exact same cover. I looked into the fine print. JSB insurance is not looking out for its clients. It’s in bed with a few companies keeping clients at high rates, lying about what’s out there. It’s a shame, I always liked James, back when he actually picked up the phone and was working from the ground up company.

This a review for the general office of JSB Insurance, customer service and home insurance department.. I spoke 5 times to confirm a quote that was written and sent to me by email. The person did not respond, then I called back during the period that it was valid but they say the quote was now higher, even if it was written before and gave me a quote number. I asked to a supervisor and she did not do anything, but asked to send her an email. She never responded. I ended up confirming to higher quote and paid the first 3 months....but then mortgage company asked them to change coverage for an earlier date. I called back JSB again and this time someone gave me a different price and asked me again to update payment, credit card, asked the same questions again. An hour later he left me a message that the amount was a little higher and I needed to call back and confirm. I called back and the new agent asked me AGAIN for credit card, verified info, etc. It is beyond ridiculous the service they have.

I've been with jsb for car insurance for several years. I signed on because they were offering a deal for students, stayed another year because Jeremy found me better rates than I could find myself, post grad, and have continued with them since then because of the excellent customer service. I have had multiple accidents in the last few years, forcing me to deal with the always difficult claims adjusters who make my life hell. Enter Jeremy and his team to get things done, from getting my rental car coverage extended to ensuring my insurance is handling claims properly. Jeremy also referred me to a great body shop and has ensured they provide me with great customer service. I've also worked with Robert, who has been very helpful as well. Dealing with insurance is almost always a headache, and jsb takes a lot of stress out of the equation. The cost of a broker here is well worth it..... and you may be surprised at how low they can get your rates, even with their fees included.

I'm giving JSB Insurance a Fab 5 because when I called I actually I had unintentionally dialed their Number, still looking for auto insurance I told the rep on the line that I had got a DUI and that my drivers License was already suspended. He took rapid initiative and explained how he could further assist me. And led kindly led me through the steps. I was able to get my Sr22 insurance from them, on top of all that I am able to save so much money compared to the other auto insurance places I had called before them. Today I'm am A Satisfied JSB Insurance customer. I would Highly recommend anyone of my love ones to try them out if you do ask for Payman Dan he was the Rep. That assisted me. Once again Thank You JSB Insurance for meeting my needs.

I have been in the insurance industry for over 30 years and as an insurance professional I have had some great experiences and some less than great experiences. Jsb insurance has been wonderful. I will admit in the beginning they had made a mistake and when I brought it to their attention they took the time to research it, realize that the mistake was made and immediately corrected it. I have been with them for about 2 years or more and they have been wonderful! I would truly recommend their services for anyone looking for insurance coverage.

Careful they rotate brokers quicker than you can order your favorite drink. Be very mindful of policy dates when you pay in a increment of 6 months or better. They mail you a reminder after the due date and then 2-3 days later you received a policy cancellation offering to reinstate. Then when you call it's not your original broker and your told that paper was generated in error. I would respect you guys more if you just say re-writing your your policy helps me gain a Broker fee. And on top of the monopoly this new group of people are RUDE!

I want to report agent specialist Hector for awfully customer service. I had a horrid experience with him. I was having problems with my telephone line and he assumed I didn't wanted to talk to him even though I ask for a quote in the website. He also had a very rude tone and was escalating everything instead of descalating and I feel like you have to have those skills in order to deal with clients since we now less than you about insurance. Thank you i also asked for his full name but he failed to provide it.

I yelled at Joe today because I’m so frustrated at my Husband for inputting my phone number to be used for quotes. Obviously not Joe’s fault. Joe is just doing his job, but this was about the 20th call I received today (from varies insurance places) and I was just over it. Joe was superhumanly professional and nice the entire time. Worst insurance agency. They are basically car salesmen and will say anything it takes to get you to sign with them. They have deals with several insurance agencies and find the best one for you. Well they signed me up, then for some reason they had to cancel it and move me to a more EXPENSIVE insurance. bait and switch. oh and they charged me a service fee. Commission isn't enough for these crooks..
