First off, this review is long overdue. I contacted JSIU late last year to replace the roof insulation in our house as part of the renovation works we were undertaking. Joel was happy to take the time on the phone to explain the works that would be done and to recommend the appropriate grade of insulation. Because of various delays and uncertainties with other aspects of our renovation, it was hard for us to book a firm date with them. Sandra kept in touch every few weeks to see how we were going, and she couldn't have been more patient and helpful. In the end, by the time we were ready,, they were fully booked and couldn't get to us. Not their fault. We would have gladly hired them, but sadly the timing just didn't work out. So, they didn't do the works for us, but I'm confident all would have been well, and so we still recommend them. Lovely people, and a pleasure to deal with.

I'm so glad to have discovered JSIU Insulation & Roof Maintenance! From my initial enquiry until completion of all work, it has been a seamless process dealing with them combined with exceptional customer care! Something that is very rare these days. I placed an enquiry towards the end of the day (just after close of business) & Sandra was quick to reply to my enquiry with a detailed response even though it was past their business hours. Joel visited at the scheduled time to inspect the work that required to be completed (roof restoration) and to provide a quote. He was thorough, knowledgeable & helpful. The work was completed to satisfaction by the agreed date. Just fantastic to deal with overall! I called and spoke to JSIU roofing to get a quote on my roof restoration. I mentioned that I had a minor leak in heavy rain and was considering a full restoration. I paid $150 for an inspection which I was happy to do as that amount would have come off the final bill should I have chosen to go ahead with the job. I was happy with the google reviews so felt paying was worth it. I received a great video on the issues however was told they would not do the job. I received an excuse that the tiles were porous and water could leak in when they do the job and insurance would not cover it or some rubbish. I thought that's is why I was engaging a professional? I imagine there are easier jobs for them to do and mine was too hard. I had a healthy budget for the job however will find someone else.

Joel and Sandra from JSIU sorted out a range of roofing issues for us which included a gutter cleaning, re-pointing, skylight replacement and pressure washing our roof tiles. We booked them back in May and during that time we had so many things work against us such as the COVID lockdown and bad weather that the job didn't get done until November. Every step of the way and at every blocker, Sandra looked after us and made sure we were comfortable and that the work was rescheduled so it was done under the best circumstances. The work was done to a very high standard and I cannot recommend them enough. They were an absolute pleasure to work with and I wish everyone I hired operated to the standard that they do.

We were worried about water dripping from a corner of our metal roof which could have been a leak. Being a double storey townhouse, we couldn't check ourselves so called Sandra for a gutter clean and roof repair quote. Joel and his assistant were prompt and thorough in their work. He reassured us that there isn't a leak and explained the roof orientation to us clearly. He could have charged us to fix the roof capping which would have been very expensive, instead he was transparent and caring with us. Joel is passionate about his trade and honest to his customers which is hard to find in today's world. We highly recommend Sandra and Joel's business and are happy to be lifelong customers.

I am so glad that I came across JSIU Roofing on google search. I had been dealing with some roofing issues as a result of wild weather in January 2022. I had been going in circles between Body Corp, Insurance and maintenance contractors. We engaged with JSIU Roofing to carry out a pre-purchase inspection of the roof, and they provided an excellent in-depth live recording of the entire live JSA (Job Safety Inspection). We were really impressed and pleased with the level of details in video report and references to building code. The inspector provided detailed building requirements and a very thorough investigation of the property and issues that needed attention. We're really pleased to have engaged with JSIU and look forward to working with them to carry out some of the remedial work.

I recently had a 32-point inspection done, and it was carried out professionally and on time. I was even offered a free inspection because Joel was working in the area that day. However, due to tenants, I had to reschedule the appointment. Nevertheless, it was worth spending $150 for such a detailed overview. I would recommend that people with newly built houses have this inspection as soon as possible to hold the builder accountable before their warranty runs out.

I have hired JSIU to replace some horribly ineffective blown in roof insulation with pink batts in a 20 yo house in Caroline Springs. The job involved removal of the old insulation and installation of the new one, all on the same day. The job was done efficiently, as quoted and in the promised timeframe. Called fair trade and this is NOT Legal. STILL waiting 11 months. Happy to expand on my dreadful stressful dissappointing ripped off experience.

We booked this company in for a gutter clean. We took a day off work to ensure we could meet Joel on-site. He was an hour late and advised that he would not be completing the job, to quote him “this is going to take me all day”. He didn’t advise whether it was a pricing issue or timing - we’d have been happy to review his quote or have the job completed over a few days. Poor service.

I reached out to JSIU roofing for installing a roof ventilation and they were honest in advising me what products could cause potential issues down the road. Great honest advice and quality work for a good price. We have had Joel around twice now a been impressed both times.
