A Laughably Poor Existence of an Amusement Park for Adults and Children This was my first experience at a Jambo Amusement Park with no knowledge beforehand of what is actually was. I walk in with my girlfriend to check it out with $11 – All Day Wristband coupons in hand and discover that a majority of the rides have a weight limit of 110lbs or 165lbs. We laugh and can’t really knock the place for being primarily for young children, the employee offers an Unlimited Laser Tag, Mini-Bowling, and Mini-Golf Adult wristbands for $3 and we take him up on the offer. Upon passing the desk with our wristbands, we discover the following: -Laser Tag is closed. -Mini-Bowling is closed. Right of the gate and 2/3 things we can only do are closed. After a discussion with an employee, we are given $6 in tokens each for a total of $12. We go to experience the arcade for a total of ~20 arcade machines: -The rewards for tickets are pitiful. Chutes and Ladders at 4500 tickets at the desk, dollar store toys located in the ticket reward machine. That’s all. -The one air hockey table frequently had issues where pucks would go in and pop right back out, not counting for a score. -¾ of the escalating animal rides that you find in front of grocery stores are broken. Cruisin’ USA started to crash while we were playing it, artifacts appearing on screen and freezing. -So many audio issues – low sound from Time Crisis, no sound from Skeeball, low sound from MvC2, low sound from The Simpsons Beat-Em-Up And for the Mini-Golf – it is poorly constructed. The actual courses can be moved by a person’s feet and appear to have been made straight out of someone’s garage – plywood and fake grass. The barriers of the courses are too low, so balls will constantly be falling off the course and into others’ games. Balls would continue to get stuck underneath the hollow plastic structures. There is no fake grass surrounding the courses like it is in the picture, it is a plain cement floor. Do yourself and your child a favor – don’t go to Jambo.

I read a lot of reviews that didn't leave the best image in my head and left me kind of hesitant to come here but i was desperate to have a party indoors because its like 100+ degrees here in phnx. I threw my brother his 2nd birthday party yesterday and was very impressed with how big the place was, 85% of the attractions and games were functioning properly unlike some other reviews i read, there were some minor issues with the jungle gym but so many other things that kept the kids busy and the built in chairs at the tables were slightly broken and dated but that is minor when your dealing with toddlers. The pizza was good, they let you do your own thing , and it wasn't busy so as soon as we'd decide to get on a ride they'd come right over and start it for us. There are a lot of things i liked about this place the only thing i didn't like was the attitude i got from the staff. It was almost not happy enough for a kids establishment and i didn't like how hot it was in the building, i asked the manager to turn the air down and continually sweated for 4 hours until l got into my car and headed home but either way the kids had a blast , i had a coupon, and we had a great party for a great price. I will definitely be back here.

I took a 7 year old and 5 year old at 10am on a Friday and we left at 1:30pm. We experienced everything except for laser tag, arcades and the food but the kids participated in every other activity/ride at least three times. Bathrooms were clean and the staff was wonderful with the kids. If a kid is looking anxious on a ride, then they will slow it down or stop the ride entirely. If a kid doesn't want to spin around, then the staff won't spin them. If there is no one around in line or waiting nearby, then the staff allow the ride to run for longer. There is SO much flexibility with a Park Ranger running every two rides that the kids, there were quite a few, don't wait long in between rides and you get a lot of individual attention. After reading the reviews for this park, I was a little nervous but at $12 per kid and the service we received, I was very impressed. We will DEFINITELY be back to this Phoenix location next month!!! I'm not sure what the expectations were from other reviewers but there were countless moms saying, "Okay, but this is the last time, then we have to go home!" and I was in the same boat. Kids LOVE this place and it is safe. Isn't that really what matters?

Bought a Groupon and took my toddler girls to the one in Mesa and I will probably not go back. First, the overall look of the place is depressing. The interior was dirty and had a heavily used look. The rides were old and in generally poor condition. Foam padding in the play area was torn with pieces falling out. Only about half the ballasts had lights so some areas of the building were quite dim. A number of rides and games took tokens without turning on. Second, the workers looked and acted like they wanted to be anywhere but at Jambo. Most of the workers looked like they had rolled out of bed and picked up a dirty tee-shirt and pants off the floor 5 minutes before coming to work. Many of them were more interested in their phones than their customers. Only one attendant managed to say "Hi", "Bye" and "Thanks You" to us. Additionally, there were not enough workers to man all the rides. If my girls wanted to ride a ride and there was not an attendant, I would have to track down one to help us. Didn't eat there, but given the general atmosphere, I doubt the food was even as good as McDonald's. Will probably not go back

I took my little sister here (she's 7) just to spend the day with her. Although, I will say some of the games were broken and majority of the attractions seemed a little out dated BUT safe. I really enjoyed seeing a smile on her face. I can honestly say she was so excited to be able to go from games to the attractions back to games or however she liked WHEN she liked. There were no little to no lines, the place was big enough for her to run around and have fun like all kids like to do. I would have wanted there to be more kids her age at the time we went so she could interact while having fun BUT I played that role pretty well :) She has been to tons of different indoor and outdoor theme parks but I will say Jambo really made her day. It totally made it easy to leave when she wanted the Giraffe at the prize center but didn't have enough tickets; the manager let me buy the giraffe. She was thrilled. It didn't surprise me though, the staff were ALL very nice and available to start rides as soon as we walked up to them. So thank you Jambo for providing a fun experience for me but especially my sister.

Yes, I hated it! Will never be stepping foot on that site again!! So today, I took my 4 year old son here this afternoon. I came in and had to get the hostesses attention. I explained that I am a first time customer and would like to get a little insight as to how this place works. Let's just say, I bought the wristband for myself and my son, thinking I will go ride with my son, as well as 25 tokens. So we gave ourselves a tour and discovered that only 2-3 rides were being operated. I went to the front desk and asked why the train ride was closed? The lady assured me she will send somebody right over to assist me. After 10 minutes of waiting with an impatient child at the time, I gave up. I went to the front desk and asked if I could get a refund. I just was so upset at the lack of management, service, cleanliness...etc. I was purely disgusted and do not nor will I ever recommend anybody coming here. By the way, never received refund and never got to enjoy one single ride. It's a dirty environment! Too bad, what a shame !

DO NOT GO HERE! My friend and I went to Jambo yesterday, I paid for 2 children and 2 adults. This was all of ours first time going here, and we are extremely disappointed and angry about our experience. We paid $50 for tickets and the $20 for food. There were only 3 rides running at once and almost never the ones our children could ride. We were there for 3 hours. 1 hour of which we spent just waiting on our food to be ready! And when we received the food it was cold and stale. The other 2 hours we spent trying to get our kids on rides they could enjoy but no one was running them! In 2 hours our kids went on 2 rides and we weren't able to go on a single one with them!! Not to mention all of the people working here were underage or foreigners who spoke barely any english and the place was completely filty!! We are so beyond upset about the money we wasted going to this park. I spent $70 on 2 rides and stale food and they refuse to give a refund for this terrible experience, this is not ok!

I was hesitant to go to a Birthday party today due to the lackluster reviews. The place wasn't as dirty as many people had commented, there were some nonfunctional rides and only 1 ride or 2 at most were manned at any given time. The staff was friendly and I had no issues with them. The Pizza was awful. What upset me the most was the ticket counter. All of the little prizes were Jesus stickers or bookmarks. I asked the woman if they had any non religious items for my child and she informed me that they are a "Christian" company. Maybe a warning label on the building would help. I'd hate to pay money to have someone push their religious agenda on my child. I left with a little prize egg for him.. and inside was a "Jesus loves this kid" pin. Which I threw away. Where do they get these prizes? It's fine to believe anything you want. But don't push it on other people's kids. Not everyone believes as you and I left pretty disappointed.

I purchased two all day passes ($15.99 + tax) for my kids after 5 pm in the evening today. The key attractions for my kids, laser tag and bowling, were both closed. Upon bringing it to the Manager's(Darrin) attention, he said that the bowling will not be open as it costs over $2k to fix. He wasn't aware that the Laser Tag was closed for over two hours (Great managerial skills and staying on top of things at this 'huge' park). He wanted me to bring it to his attention sooner as I had spent over one hour and a half at the facility. He mentioned that he couldn't compensate for it to just visit for laser tag as we had spent 'so much' time already on our 'all day' passes. According to him, this was their owners order. Darrin was an outright rude person, who doesn't care much about the customers based on my conversation with him. So much for customer service. A very bad experience and a pathetic manager.

I took my daughter to a birthday party at Jambo! Park this past weekend. I was hesitant to RSVP due to all the negative reviews but we knew the birthday child's mother very well so we figure we'll go but with our fingers crossed. Wow! I have never seen any place like Jambo! Park in the entire state. I wouldn't recommend it for older kids but it's perfect for kids under 10. 3 of the rides look brand new (elephant, swing and train). The other 3 were older but lots of fun (roller coaster, barrels and a spinner ride). The place was not dirty at all and the staff were always wiping the rides and tables when they're not running the rides. It is true that some of the arcade games were older classics (galager, simpson etc) but I think those are more for the adults. There was a little wait on the food but that's to be expected since it's not fast food. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

  • Trisha King

A lot of the arcade games on the floor are not working. There was also a room in the back full of broken machines and more broken ones piled on the side in public view. The whole place looked worn-down, dirty and sad. Only one other family was there besides my own and I can see why. The rides are unmanned and you have to flag down an attendant to be able to go on them. The food is disgusting. I ordered a lot of food and it was either oversalted, burned from being overcooked in the fryer and my chicken was not cooked all the way! To the point where I'm sick to my stomach right now writing this review. Needless to say I got a refund for that item. The staff was the only decent thing about this place, but there was no manager to be found! It was a three hour wasted roadtrip. We only stayed for a little over an hour and won't be going back.

  • Jennifer Schultz

I went to Jambo! Park on 32nd St & Cactus with my 2 boys this weekend and we stayed over 6 hours! Yes, over 6 hours! My boys get bored easily so this place is definitely perfect for us. So much to do, all for $10.99 and you can stay as long as you wish. The rides were fun (especially the roller coaster one that goes forward and backwards) but my kids spent a lot of time in the playground area. I just sat on the bench and watch them play and smile for hours. My experience was so different from some of these reviews, so you might want to check it out yourself and decide for yourself. The staff were nice and always ready to run the rides anytime my kids asked. The new manager (Kevin) was friendly. Even my experience with the food was great. We had a cheese pizza and it was great. The place was very clean when we were there.

  • Molly M

My kids had fun,it was a Friday afternoon around 2:30 when we got there and there however, the place looks disgusting. This place looks like they never clean or sanitize anything, I was scared to even order some food. Also, alot of the games that you use tokens on are broken. FYI: I didn't order food(just to make it clear). Also, they have crappy customer service(The staff was inattentive or just ignored us)OH!! & also, Id like to add that there was this one guy with gloves who kept coming from the kitchen area and helping out with turning the games on, then went back to the kitchen, he kept coming and going, I really hope he wasn't using those same gloves back there!! Either way, the main thing that mattered to me is that my 2 yr old girl, 4 yr old girl(birthday girl on that day), and 5 yr old boy had tons of fun.

This place very hot! The ac was not blowing and there are no fans in the party rooms. Several repairs needed so all rides are fully functional. The owners/management must not care to do updates, repairs or simple spot paint to keep the place "magical" for kids. It really shows in the broken elephant that showed a hand drawn sign " photos only" like thanks for the suggestion, its it's broken!duh!! The train was down, the roller coaster was overheating and two monkey barrels where closed. The staff are all young who probably get minimum wage so they dont care but will admit the owners dont care and never fix anything...... The food is all frozen microwaved stuff too! Save your money & spend $200-$300 for a party at another place, even Peter Piper is better.

  • Cherie Zimmer

I love Jambo Park, my kids love it too. I have 3 boys and 1 girl. My sons love the tickets they get... my daughter is more for the rides. She loves the elephant ride the most and always asks if we can go to "the elephant ride place". She's 5. I've always had a great experience with my entire family at Jambo Park. It's always been clean and the staff are young but they are helpful and always look like they really love their jobs. I think a lot of people commenting badly about the staff are old and boring. Sorry, but at a place meant for children, I don't want to see 35-50 year old staff members working there. They would have no fun. Younger people would have more fun in an environment like this. I recommend Jambo Park for birthday parties!

  • heidi barker

You guys best advice honestly is take a month to close down a complete up date on the place. Games, rides, prizes redo food menu and if having to as well staff replacement 3 other girlfriends of mine and have reported you all. For one it's already small as it is that when you charge the price you all do just to have 2 rides working no games and tons of people there your intentionally ripping us off and that really upsets me I paid for 13 kids to be there for a birthday and nothing worked and I had to reserve with money so you all should of made sure everything was working if not then found something else for them to do.

  • Autumn Thomas

Took my daughter here today i wasted my money only 2 people.working there had to.wait forever for rides we were the only ones there btw poor kid working the.rides had to run all over the place while the other worker and manager literally sat on their asses doing absolutely nothing even i asked the manager to please get me a drink at the cafe she said the guy who.was running the rides could do.it i said he is.busy and all i need is a drink so.finally she got it for me with what seemed like great bother for her i told her i will.not be coming back the service was horrible

  • Jannet Smiths

I brought my children to this place not too long ago and wasn't very impressed however, I recently found out this place has felons working for them! Either they don't do proper background checks or maybe they don't do any background check AT ALL! I wouldn't feel safe bringing my children to a place where they will be playing with convicted felons! How can a place like this not even check a persons history before hiring them? I know that I will NEVER be going back to this place because of the concern of the safety of my children.

  • daniel zavulunov

Very bad place many of the things here to play were broken and the rides are garbage half of them were broken you win junk when you want to get a prize for your tickets the service is horrible workers were runnning around like little kids and almost hit my son when they were running like little kids this place looks like they are going to close down this place is such a ghetto beware ppl do not come here if you love your kids

  • Patricial Bowman

This place rocks. Our kids love it. Our teenager is not amused but our 5 and 8 year olds go there all the time. They love going there with grandpa but we take them often too. We've also attended several birthday parties there. I can't think of any other indoor park with so many rides for our kids' age. We usually use their iCoupon on our iPhone to get the $5 off (makes it $10.99 for the wristband). Highly recommended.

  • Percilla Garza

Beyond terrible experience and horrible service. I took my toddler 19 months To play the Gymnasium it was Filthy and disgusting used band-Aids, dirty socks, food wrappers and smelled like urine. I'm beyond disappointed the staff was rude when I talked about the condition of the gymnasium. I wanted my money back instead they gave me a free wristband voucher. We won't be coming back!!!!

  • Vanessa Ruiz

Place is great for KIDS ! My daughter enjoyed herself and we will be having her Second Birthday Party here! Kids have fun, if you see rides are "shut down" usualy not true all you have to do is ask and they will operate the rides for you, Staff is friendly and very attentive to children. Food taste great. Its everything expected for an indoor amusment park!

  • Nathan Neuling-mcafee

The rides were dirty, laser tag is VERY small (4 people) and the mini golf is bad. Our food at the bar took a very long time and once we had to go up and ask where our food was. Do not recommend unless you want to spend little money. Unlike other reviews, most of the staff actually were nice.

  • Mike B

place is a rip off,the roller coaster broke, machines broke, help stands around chatting, had to go get someone after each ride to disturb their personam conversations. people were fed up having to do this.i want my money back if i could post pictures i would. rides had filth in them

  • Hatari L.

Unlike diana monocol I say you guys are your own company and I'm glad you have christian stuff. I dont go to a deseret books wanting barns and nobles. If they dont like positive messeges even if they are religious then oh well not their company. Keep up being great guys :)

  • Crystal Gonzales

Horrible! Workers were unfriendly and rude, they could care less to put my child on a ride in a timely manner. We had to go search for a worker and then wait until they were done talking to go and start a ride. Very disappointed in this establishment and their associates!

  • Perry

I was very skeptical of an indoor amusement park, but this place was actually a huge surprise. My 3 year old daughter loved every bit of it and would def want her next birthday to be here. Her favorite was the jungle gym and the mechanic animals.

  • Patrick Hogg

Great concept but poorly implemented. Most rides where shutdown or non functional. The staff was inattentive and the place was a little dirty. Also the token operated machines are 50 cents a credit which is ridiculous. We won't be back.

  • Laurie Conard

Rides and games are always broken, if they are working they're filthy. Food is extremely overpriced. I have actually seen rides duct taped together!!! Im surprised thay haven't been shut down for safety reasons!

  • Haydee alzate

I went to a birthday party everything was fine until the manager appeared her name was Susan, a despot person with a horrible attitude ... never return and not recommended....must of the ride were broken...

  • Cauli Jones

Pretty fun but expensive and quite dirty. There are several games out of order sitting around, one with the front panel off and the wires exposed! Either get your arcade games fixed or get rid of them!!

  • lynn verango

Our first graders went on a field trip to Jambo and loved it. I thought it was 10 times better than the one in mesa. They had a couple games not working but foe the most part, it was nice and spacious.

  • Ted Batycki

It's like the kids section of a carnival or fair. Indoor Disneyland it is not. Perfect for young children wanting to have some fun. During our visit the staff was friendly, and the place was clean.

  • Bernardo Garcia

Worst place I've been to all the games are out of service or broken jambo members treat us really bad they look like they're mad all the time im really disappointed and ill never go again.

  • Vincenzo Muscarello

This place could be really good if they invested a little money back into the place and focused on everything working and being clean and tidy. Its a good bang for your buck otherwise.

  • Annettes Rainbow Inc

Great place for little ones, not so much for kids over 8yrs old. My 6yr old and 1yr old had a blast! The free refills on drinks is a great deal since the kids are running so much.

  • Cassidy Littlejohn

No professional service I had one good ride the laser tag was okay but other than that it was bad I recommend going if you're bored but not if you really want to have nice fun.

  • Darlene Ferrel

Horrible! Drive a hour to get here. Only one ride! Ordered food took 20 min for mini corndog and ff and they came cold! Save your money and stay at home with the family

  • Mike Snyder

Ok place for younger kids. Treats overpriced as expected (2.50 for an ice cream sandwich)...putt putt basic but nicely maintained. Easy win for young kids...indoor!

  • Katie Sanders

This is a nice place for small kids. The rides are fun and the staff is really friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

  • Jan Schipper

Just ok, kids had fun but food was poor, stereo turned up way too load and many rides and games not working.

  • Glenn Gardner

Hidden Gem!!! Went to my best friend's son's birthday here, did not even know this place existed......

  • Kove maN

Lots of broken rides and games. Inattentive staff. Looked nice, but in a general state if disrepair.

  • Sue Weinman

This place is out of business. Opening soon under new ownership, Party Jungle. Completely renovated

  • Heidi Drew

We had a great experience. My 7 year old loved. it. Great way to escape the heat. Staff was great.

  • Ingrid O'Malley

Toddler time on Wednesdays is a good deal, otherwise probably not worth it.

  • Eunice Hernandez

This place sucks. Not worth your money or time. The food sucks as well...
