Worst experience ever. Was referred to this dentist by our regular dentist for some work on a painful cavity for my 6 year old future stepson. Went to Dr. Weddell and was told that he had something like 12 cavities requiring a tooth to be extracted and several (6-8) crowns and a couple of fillings. We made the appointment to come back in a week because they wouldn't do any work on the day they did the examination, despite having had an x-ray of the most problematic tooth sent to them in advance by our regular dentist, and taking new x-rays the day of the exam. Upon our return visit, we mentioned that we'd spoken to a family friend who was shocked at the extent of dental work recommended and who suggested we get a second opinion before doing the non-emergency work. Upon hearing this, the dentist stated that she did not want to do any work on our son because she didn't feel comfortable with us even MENTIONING that we were CONSIDERING a second opinion for the remainder of the dental work. Despite our protesting and trying to reassure her that we were NOT questioning the need for the more urgent work, someone in the office loudly stated "No, we're not doing anything!" Needless to say, we consider this extremely unprofessional and rude. If a dentist or any doctor will flat out refuse to treat a patient with an emergent medical issue simply because they dare question why a 6 year old would need 7 crowns and multiple fillings, then maybe they shouldn't be practicing medicine/dentistry. My fiance obtained Hoosier Healthwise (basically medicaid, as far as I understand) coverage for her son (my soon-to-be stepson) and I can't help but wonder if this need for a massive amount of dental work is a way to pad the pockets of the dentist. If you're competent in your assessment, then don't fear a second opinion.. We will NEVER go back and I would caution others...

The office staff is pretty rude and unpleasant too much sass and attitude.. The nurse was rude and condescending as well as she inconvenienced me and my situation with my kids. Its a lot I could say but Ill keep it short and say they aren’t what they used to be a few years ago. Not to mention even the manager completely disregarded my experience dealing with staff. & they didn’t interact with my kids or make them feel at ease. Working in dentistry supposed to be something you Love, a passion something you enjoy doing but instead they’re there for the check and it shows.

My daughter had a follow up appointment here today for 12:30 We arrived at 12:20 I checked us in and we waited. Around 1:10 I asked if their was any update we had been scheduled for 12:30. The lady tells me the person seeing my daughter wasn’t even in the building yet! I recommend getting organized with the schedule for people like me I only have one off day a week to scrunch everything in Especially driving from Greenwood a complete waste of time

  • Cordell Liner

Rude and very unprofessional! The front desk Corina assumed that my kids were on Medicaid because I have 8 kids! The office manager was no hope! I will never bring my kids there!

  • Moneka Jones

My first visit and it’s horrible. Had a 8:45 appointment and they didn’t call my son back for 1 1/2 hour. Hour and half wait with an appointment is crazy.

  • Shanicka Thompson

I love this dentist but some of the receptionist at the front desk can be very rude!
