Ordered a Brass Monkey insulated cover on Jaycar's website to be collected at their Reynella store. For some reason Jaycar did not receive the payment from PayPal but I had a receipt from PayPal saying it was paid to Jaycar and the payment was taken from my account. So I went in to the store for help. Disappointing I was told they could not do anything and I had to phone their technical department in Sydney, which I did and after a few hours sorted it out. There was no ownership of my problem by the store. I went in to the store as a Jaycar customer, the store should have owned it and sorted it, that's customer service. I will not use their website again and won't shop at the Reynella store again.

Went to local store to purchase an item listed on the Jaycar website, they did not have it in store, but telephoned another store that had one, a 3 hour round trip journey for me, did not offer inter store delivery, and offered to hold it for me. Made the 1 1/2 hr journey to the store, only to be told that the item was no longer available, and should not have been listed on the website, so for the cost of my time, vehicle, and annoyance, I received a "sorry, it was a mis-communication" not by me, but the store staff. Not impressed, will now buy on-line elsewhere, so very negative feedback.

The staff are more concerned about stealing each others sales and making commission than actually helping customers. Customers needs will always be put last and the most expensive option will always be the staffs first thought. TJ the manager enjoys talking over her employees, over-riding staff conversations with customers and stealing sales from her other staff! TJ also loves helping you if you're buying something expensive, but if you're after anything cheaper than $100 she will be rude, sarcastic, provide false product information and likely ignore you!

More interested in running as a business when asked for help as human being and offered to pay wages too if needed. But returned empty handed after a long drive to the location. I called first before going and they insisted to come with printer and they will help what they can. they said on the phone. Very disappointing. Self help is what we should work on I guess. Sorry for writing the post as it's not fair to the business and business minded people but I just wanted to document the truth. Your experience may be different but just be mindful. That's all.

Was sold 2 power supplies from the south road store that didn't work so I went to return them to reynella 10 days later, explaining they didn't work. The manager said I can only get a store credit as I changed my mind. I told her it wasn't a change if mind a neither of them worked with my DVD players but she refused to refund them. I informed her of the consumer law regarding items that don't work and she said "I know the law, I've done the training" Clearly not. Begrudgingly she refunded me and way very rude through the process

Bad customer service. No one of the 5-6 male employees present came and asked me if I needed any help, they just stood around talking about Game of Thrones. What are these guys getting paids for? I couldn't find what I needed, would have asked if they could order something in, but I decided being ignored was about the kindest service I was going to get, so I left, not wanting to expose myself to any more rudeness. I have sourced my new Adaptor elsewhere, and would not recommend this particular store to anyone.

Went in to buy a replacement power cable for my kids DVD player for the car. Was given replacement cable and when plugged in the cable blew up the DVD player. Was told I didn't read instructions properly. However I wasn't warned about any such event potentially happening. Was only offered refund for cable. Kids don't have DVD player now. Plug in and play wasn't the case. T-jay who sold me it claimed she reads everything she buys. Poor form from Jay car

Went to Jay car today to find a replacement power cord for a record player my granddaughter got for Christmas. (She somehow lost it) the young man couldn’t be my helpful on the phone and suggested I take the player to the shop so they can match it up. He suggested the one we need and set the right connection to the player for us. Thank you I now have a happy teenager and grandma has to listen to Harry Styles.

So helpful went in to enquire how to connect my surround sound system two both my Xbox’s . I had a plan and idea . They told me to check my sound system n Xbox’s for a plug . So I did . I went back and he saved me a hundred bucks by coming up with a better way . Could not be happier they cared more about offering proper products that suited my needs than just taking my money

As someone previously mentioned, customer service is woeful! 3 guys on the floor, not one assisted. This isn't the first time either, I let two similar previous experiences slide. I assume I just don't fit their customer demographic. I left and went to battery world and they were brilliant. Never setting foot in Jaycar again.

Husband (Keith) was after assistance with connecting iPod to stereo system. The friendly staff asked questions to ensure they understood what he was trying to do, then provided a suitable connection. He was impressed with their friendly, efficient and professional service. Best place he's shopped for such goods.

Pathetic customer service and given old products that doesn’t work properly, I been to store again regarding help, but Guy at front been rude and not intend to help. I send email to their customers service team but they also do not even care about complaints. Really great customer service environment

Somebody is this particular store does not wash their hands after using their bathroom cubicle. I had the misfortune of sharing the bathroom space more than once with a grot. Use their hand sanitiser if they have any on their counter after shopping with them.

Purchased a gadget, took it home and couldn’t get it to work properly. Took it back to the shop with my camera that it was going to hookup with and the staff members went through my settings and got it working. Can’t get any better than that these days …

I could spend hours checking out all the weird and wonderful gadgets they have on offer here at Jaycar, great range, friendly and knowledge staff... I just love this place. Plenty of parking available... Right across the street from McDonald's in Reynella.
