I was recently shopping for a new media cabinet, and found one from a company called BDI that suited our needs. BDI furniture is sold by a variety of high-end furniture retailers, Jensen-Lewis being one of them. After shopping around, I chose Jensen-Lewis firstly because of their shipping and delivery policy. The entire unit would be pre-assembled, delivered/installed, and packaging removed, for no additional charge. Other companies would deliver for the same price, but it would have been delivered in a box to our building's lobby, and it would've been up to us to unbox and assemble the item. Jensen-Lewis made it SO EASY. Additionally, the night that I added items to my shopping cart (but didn't click to purchase yet), I received a phone call and an email, asking if I had any questions or wanted to talk about my potential order. I actually was debating between two finishes of the cabinet, and the representative (David) was very helpful in discussing this with me. Additionally, when I finally made the choice to pull the trigger on the purchase, he took $200 off, since the item had a previous sale in that amount when I started shopping for it, even though the sale had technically ended. After the purchase was made, I received separate correspondence to schedule the delivery, which was executed flawlessly. I couldn't be more satisfied with my purchase nor the friendly, professional way it was handled by the folks at Jensen-Lewis. I'll be sure to check out Jensen-Lewis again for other furniture purchases in the future, and I recommend you do, too!

We worked with Avalon throughout our initial investigative process to final purchase. There was no aggressive sales push just helpful advice. We also want to thank the owner of ironhorse, CA, who was very helpful in showing us the brand we were interested in...coincidentally, both owners are part of a design organization: reaffirmed our decision to buy from Jensen. Absolutely excellent variety of home furnishings -- dining room chairs (which we just shopped for), dining room tables, rugs, beds, sofas, lift desks and desk chairs, etc. Jensen-Lewis is not inexpensive by any means, but you get what you pay for, and the quality and beautiful design more than justify the prices. Much of the inventory here is of the latest and best Italian design. The service here is equally excellent, helpful but never pushy, cheerful but not overbearing. My only "complaint" would be the long delivery times -- weeks and even months in some cases -- but that is explainable by the virtually custom-built nature of your purchases.

Our experiences with Jensen Lewis have always been great, starting years ago in the old Chelsea location. Have only dealt with staff who were actually a pleasure to work with, knew their stuff, followed up. Furniture was as ordered, excellent quality, lasted more than a decade and still going. We did once go to another furniture store (R and F) that was horrible by comparison - from issues w delivered furniture to prices and financing gimmicks (not the salespersons fault). Just sayin: J-L is the place we go back to.
